Barely 4/5 but still a 4. The place comes off like higher level Texas Roadhouse. Menu does have variety. We had pow wow shrimp and potato skin appetizers. She had the Cajun chicken meal with baked potato and I had the ribeye and rib combo with fries and Mac and cheese. The Mac and Cheese was NOT GOOD at all but the rest of the food was delicious and I may return again. The Cajun Catfish had a great tasting sauce over it. The ribeye was seasoned very well and delicious.

Nice little restaurant. We got a booth with out any real wait and our server Tyler was great. Our steaks were delicious and frankly one of the best I've had this year. I tried the fried cheese cake, but it was a one and done.

The best steak!!!! So flavorful, cooked just how it was ordered. Man it was so good! The sangria I wouldn’t get again though, could barely taste the wine, it was very fruity.

Ricky is the best!! He made me and by bestie feel comfortable. He is informative about the food and drinks and kept checking on us and got our to-go order put in while we were finishing our meal. Had the club and salad...hubby catfish which was FANTASTIC- minimal breading.omg on dessert which was fried cheesecake..yum yum...will be going back. We ate outside and weather was awesome

The food was great! I ordered the ribeye & ribs combo! I had came in with a party of 9! All of our food came out correct and hot! Even brought a coloring sheet for my son. She was very quick and super sweet. We had Amber as a server! She was AMAZING! I watched her take about 5 tables with two party’s. No table ever went without a refill. And she was carrying tubs of dishes from her tables! All while being attentive made the food not even matter. She made our experience great we told her we would be back to see her!

Love going to Aspen Creek on Mondays to get their 8oz. Sirloin steak special. $10.99 with 2 sides. I got their 🍟 fries,similar to McDonald's, and mushrooms. I WISH THEY WOULD BRING 😪 BACK THEIR MIXED VEGETABLES 😩!! I ordered my steak medium rare but got it medium but since there were 3 of us ,and it had good flavor and texture, I didn't say anything to our server and just ate it. BUT I know from past experiences that if I had pointed out that it was over cooked that our server would have replaced my steak with one properly cooked, no problem. Always great service 👍. Well his steak is already gone ! But the only photo I took.

Took my elderly folks there for a steak, first time for all of us. Food and service were both very good. Had a couple of local and regional beers on the menu. My only criticism was as we were leaving, me pushing my mother in a wheel chair and my father on a walker, neither of the 2 young kids manning the front desk offered or even moved a muscle to hold open a door - that service was provided by another diner and his wife leaving at the same time. That almost ruined the experience.

Birthday gathering. Understaffed. Wanted to seat our party at separate tables. Large table mysterious became available when I said we would just leave and go to a different restaurant if we could not be seated together. Waiter was very nice, knowledgeable young man. Food perfect

The chicken wings were good but the chicken pasta wasn't... it was greasy and there was bacon in it and it wasn't in the ingredients... had to pick it out... there was too much ice in the drinks so they will bring you out like 3 drinks instead of one

1st time eating at this restaurant and had an excellent lunch. The menu offers a wide array of dishes to meet anyone's wants or needs. I had chicken Caesar salad that had nice fresh greens and tasty fried chicken.

This restaurant is typically busy during lunch and has limited staffing. Still they seem to have a system that works. I always sit in the bar area because the lady that works that area is on top of her game. Keep up the great job!!

The food was good but our dining experience was rather ruined by our waiter, who obviously didnt want to be there. We had to flag him down every time we needed something. He didnt even refill our drinks unless we asked him to. He looked bored and never smiled, not even a little grin. At one point when he walked by our table, i motioned for him and he gave me a shrug of the shoulders and put up his index finger (like wait a minute) and walked right on by. He returned a few minutes later and just stood by the table. He didnt ask what we needed, he just stood there. We asked for a drink refill and he left without uttering a word. Anyway...the restaraunt and the food were good. Its just too bad that this waiter spoiled our dining experience.

A jewel tucked away next to Oxmoor Mall and behind Kohls and auto dealership. Unbelievable deal on Monday night with a sirloin steak and two sides for $9.99! My sirloin was soft, well-prepared medium and it was more delicious than a strip steak I had three nights before on Frankfort Ave and at three times the price. My green beans were delightfully seasoned and sweet potato casserole was superb, with marshmallows on top! The atmosphere was dark and rich and gave me a sense as though I was in a lodge in the Rocky Mountains. Why I have not been there before I don't know, but it's my new go-to for sirloin steak and I look forward to trying their salmon and ahi tuna! Server Everett was patient answering all my questions and helping to make suggestions and by doing so helped to make the dining experience perfect for my date and me. Thank you, Aspen Creek!

This place is SO GOOD! I've had several different items from their menu and I've never been disappointed. Some of my favorites are their melt in your mouth sirloin steaks (highly recommend adding a blue cheese crust), chicken tenders, their surprisingly large side salads, and their sweet potato casserole. They have an outdoor patio, and graciously opened it up for us when we requested during our visit today (on a mild December day). Service was very quick, helpful, and friendly. I forgot to take pictures of the food before diving in, but the quality is virtually unparalleled at this price point. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for steak and other American food.

I went with my lady on her off day to run some errands, and gotten very hungry during lunch hours. We wanted to eat an economical meal that would be very satisfying, and delicious. I was most interested in the salad. It was very good with all the regular toppings. I also had a very large ribeye steak, plus a loaded baked potato. The meal was very affordable at 25.00 a plate, drinks included. My lady friend was so amazed at the quality of the food, and service. She had never eaten at Aspen Creek before. That will no longer be an issue. I am a happy and totally satisfied customer.

Food and service were good! We went at 4:30 pm on a Sunday. It would be a 5 star review, but they aren't very equipped for more than one bigger group. We had a party of 9 and the host wanted us to sit across from each other. They were able to squeeze us in by pushing 2 four-tops together, making it a bit tight.

I have been coming in to this restaurant for quite some time now and everytime it has always been nothing short of exceptional. The food is always so delicious! And our waitress was on point thanks Kendra you were great!! The only thing we have a issue with is the tables are always so sticky. I know it's the type of wood and the cleaning product used. But a nice coat of shellac would works wonders!! Anyways we will keep coming back regardless ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a decent dinner, nothing stood out, nothing extraordinary, it was clean, fast seating, my rum/coke was weak and l think my server was slightly overwhelmed with tables but overall a good visit and l would come again. Restaurant gave me Chedders Restaurant vibes which l do love .

Absolutely incredible. Holly and Stephen were awesome and much thanks to them. Food was on spot. I had meatloaf and it was out of the park. Perfect comfort food with incredible presentation and flavor. Wife had fish & chips which she said was probably the best ever. Desert fried cheesecake, what else needs to be said cheesecake and it is deep fried. Definately have a new favorite place. Hats off to the staff. Incredible meal and incredible service.

This joint has tasty food at reasonable prices, and huge portions. My family and I had a very nice lunch here. The servers were grossly overworked (understaffed), but they had great attitudes despite the hardship. Our visit took awhile since they were understaffed, but they pulled it together and got everything done that a person could expect. We look forward to our next meal at Aspen Grill. Tip your servers people!

We loved our experience tonight. We arrived and the parking lot was pretty full so we parked in the back. We expected a wait, but to our surprise they sat us right away. We went to 3 places prior to this, all on 20 mins up to 1+ hour wait at 330pm on a Saturday. We were seated immediately at Aspen. I was a bit nervous it may be bad at that point. Instead it was excellent and I almost hate to post this review bc we may never get in again. But low n behold, I tried each of our 4 party meals and all were delicious. Service was great. Price was right. Definite return.

We stopped in here while passing through town. The restaurant had a nice look and feel to it. We were seated right away, (which was nice since we were starving, having been on the road a few hours) only to be told the kitchen was about to close. There were people everywhere still eating, so they assured us it was fine. The server was very polite and said he'd rush our order back there. He was even nice enough to recommend we NOT order an item or two on the menu. We decided on steak and salmon. The food came out quickly, and was cooked perfectly. It tasted like they cooked it on a charcoal grill! My steak was a perfect medium and full of flavor. It was probably one of the best steaks I've had in a long time! My wife said the salmon was nicely prepared as well. If your looking for a good traditional steakhouse menu and atmosphere with friendly staff, I'd highly recommend stopping by!

Food was decent but when we walked in, we had to wait about 10 minutes at desk. Finally I said HELLO a couple times really loud. Still nobody came over. There were 2 employees about 25 ft away. Never even acknowledged us. I finally walked to bar (where I could see employee standing the whole time we waited) _ asked if someone could wait on us. She said oh, I didn't see you standing there. I'm thinking what? you looked right at us while we waited. Waitress practically ignored us. She came once & our drinks never got refilled after they were emptied. Had to finish meal without a drink.

Enjoyed the filet medallions with peppercorn cream sauce. Medium like I asked. Baked potato could have been a bit warmer, but good flavor. My friends pork chips were a bit too dry for her liking. Overall I liked it. She wished she had gotten the fried catfish. She had it before and says it was great then. Overall very good experience.

We love it and my favorite appetizer is the Pow Wow Shrimp. It's a full meal for me served on shredded cabbage or you can have it on rice for $2.50 more. If you like steak, we've ordered the 6 oz. Sirloin with broccoli and sweet potato casserole. The steak was perfectly cooked medium and tender. We've eaten there multiple times and it's always good. They have good sweet tea too!

Daniel (our server) and Josh (the manager) guaranteed us a more than memorable experience at Aspen Creek. We were first time diners, came in and sat at 8:30pm and were treated with the same speediness and respect as you would look for when dining. Our server kept drinks full and kept us in touch on what was happening in the kitchen. Josh checked our table 4 times (two times because we really enjoyed time with him and stopped him). He heard I was promoted and so they treated us to a future appetizer, our current appetizer, 2 free meals and dessert. I cried when I left because I couldn’t have asked for this 5-Star treatment and sign of congratulations for my new job and my fiancé’s send off to Vegas for the week. Thank you Aspen Creek, this message is the least I can do, expect all my friends in by the end of the year 👍😊

Oh my God! This was probably the biggest saving grace to come too celebrating my birthday with my family. We had planned to go elsewhere originally but after a tragic event we ended up driving around until we came across this place just by happenstance. And I am so grateful we did! Walking in, you get kind of a cabin in the woods, sports pub bar grill scene. Lol. With the TVs and the bar in the middle. Nice lighting, very clean and very well decorated decor. We were seated and provided with menus, and our drinks immediately. It was lunch time so it really wasn't that busy yet anyways. We looked over the menu assuming it was about to be so pricey so we were going to share but the diverse menu had us shifting towards having our own and still sharing so we could satisfy our individual cravings. I ordered the jambalaya and he ordered I believe a 20oz, steak. Don't quote me on that though.... it was a plate size. Lol. My son wasn't very hungry so he got Mac and cheese and applesauce. I judge a lot of restaurants by their Mac and cheese not gonna lie. If you mess that up, I'm over it. This was a wonderful surprise. The Mac was amazing! My son ate most all of it as it was a decent sized helping. We on the other hand, with our portions only ate half the steak and I saved the jambalaya for when we got home! Everything was spectacular! I could not believe the amount of food we got for the amount and how PERFECTLY everything was cooked. My SO is already planning another excuse to go to Lousiville to go there again. 😊

It was good but not up to previous standards. The mushrooms were cold coming out and it was served with ranch dressing, which I personally hate! But, the manager made it better by taking it off our bill. The potato skibs were a little burnt on the end but they were edible up to the tips. The steaks were absolutely delicious!

I was very impressed! I thought it would cost an arm and a leg but reasonably priced instead. I had the spicy Meatloaf and it was great. I asked for extra dressing for my salad and it was too much! Aspen exceeded all of our expectations. Server was great as well. My family all brought home food. No one finished. I could have but I wanted to have done meatloaf at 2am. You know how it is. I definitely recommend this restaurant. My only complaint is I didn't take pictures.

Aspen Creek never disappoints!! The food is always delicious and the service is always perfect. We are cautious about taking our child out because he has special needs and the location at Oxmoor always makes sure we are taken care of. They bring his food out first and they always make sure to make our dining experience with him is perfect. Would recommend a million times!!!

I'm giving the food at Aspen Creek Grill a 5 star rating. The Shrimp Rockefeller we had (or should I say "I" since I devoured most of it) was superb. Imagine a Spinach Artichoke Dip with whole Shrimp mixed in. Yummy! My husband had the Braised Beef Pot Roast - which he claims is the best pot roast he's ever had, with Green Beans and Mac & Cheese. The brown gravy over the mashed potatoes tasted homemade and not from a can. I had the Kickin' Aspen Pasta Jambalaya for my main course. It was full of flavor. Had I not eaten most of the appetizer, I probably would have finished the whole thing. The food portions are generous and will not leave you hungry. I deducted 1 star from my review because we felt "rushed" by our server. She was NOT rude, by all means. Not sure if she thought she was being pro-active, but offering us boxes for our food while we were still eating seemed odd. I asked for a drink refill, and she asked if I wanted it "to go". Again, still eating here. She dropped our check off without asking if we wanted dessert. We probably would have declined or opted to take it home, but we were not given the option. All in all, it was a nice meal and we're not crossing Aspen Creek off our list of dining choices.

First time dining. Sunday afternoon between 5-6 and was seated promptly. Drinks and green chile queso for appetizer. I had jambalaya pasta and the wife enjoyed a grilled salmon and rice. Both were very nice and large portions. Just finished the take home leftovers of both.😁 Would definitely go again. Our server Brittany was very attentive as well.

Best accident I've made in a while. I had planned to go to a competitor but got off the exit on the wrong direction. Saw the sign and decided to try it. Better, more flavorful steaks, incredible service, great salad. I'll be back next time in town. Wish you had Ohio locations.

A must try! Went tonight and had Absolutely Amazing Service from Kristina...never had to ask or want for anything she was highly attentive to our every need and she went above and beyond to give us a very pleasant experience... Please Aspen Creek hold on to Kristina and treat her well, employees like her are what make us want to return again and again! I highly recommend the fried Cheesecake.. it's definitely a mouth orgasm

Any restaurant manager can tell you a happy customer tells 2 people. An unhappy one tells 10. So I want to temper the following review by saying that I regularly eat at Aspen Creek with a rotating cast of friends and family. In fact it is our default choice when we want quality food and good service. That was not the case last night. Pow Pow shrimp is usually excellent. Spicy and hot with a lime wedge for squeezing a tad more zing. None of these were in evidence last night. No spice and no limes on either of the two we ordered. Asked server for lime, but they never appeared. Typically have the country fried steak and really wanting comfort food after a hard week so far, I ordered it again. Big disappointment. Overfried to where the usually golden brown batter became a hard dark brown grease leaking mess. The usually hearty gravy was scarcely present. Mac and cheese side was dry and cool rather than creamy and hot. I would have sent the whole mess back to be corrected but our server only made rare appearances so I tried to slog on through half of it. To finish neither the shrimp nor the steak is a record low for me. As for my dining partners? One said her shrimp was tasteless. The other pointed out his fried cheesecake's best points were the crust and the ice cream. Service was friendly but generally absent and subpar. Our overall experience was diminished in quality by a different server in a nearby section who has clearly never worked in anything other than a loud busy diner. She routinely shouted to her tables from across the room and began talking to them LOUDLY from 10 to 15 feet away. Because previous trips were so drastically better, I will return. Those previous trips change this review from 1 star to 3 stars.

Our first experience there. We ordered an appetizer and three different dinners, which were quite good for the price. The service was good from the wait staff and manager. The hostess could certainly use training in customer relations. Seemingly annoyed that she had to interact with customers was an immediate turnoff and everyone else had to work even harder to overcome our first impression. She was short with customers and coworkers. Perhaps more training or reassignment to the kitchen washing dishes would be an option. I wouldn't want her representing my restaurant, especially making first impressions!

Always a great experience great food friendly service.... update it was ok at best the menu prices increased but it's like the quality of good and service went down. I ordered sirloin baked potato with butter and cheese... when I finally got my food 5-10 minutes after my party did the potato had no toppings on it butter was on the side by the time I got my cheese the potato wasn't hot so the cheese was just there... I should've sent it back but I was already tired of waiting and hungry the steak temperature was luke warm also. I don't see me returning any time soon.

This is the first time I've ordered from Aspen Creek Grill, was looking for something that had fish for me and meat for the rest of the family. So incredibly impressed. There wasn't one item we ordered that didn't exceed every delivery expectation we had. We had shrimp, fish and steak. Never difficult to get delivered salads right, but all of of the entrees? Perfect! We will definitely order again and look forward to the time when we can all enjoy dining at the actual restaurant. An incredible find! Thank you for an awesome delicious dinner. Finally found time to add the review to the five stars... Best things come to those who wait! Aspen Creek is our favorite go-to place for dinner. Their steaks are divine, the salads fresh and crisp. The staff patient, attentive and friendly. It feels like your at a loving auntie's, surrounded by your favorite cousins. We experience the pleasure of Aspen Creek on a weekly basis, the lock down was painful, but the deliveries kept the smile in our bellies. Love you guys, don't ever change!

We absolutely love the bleu cheese crust on the steaks. We had a terrible time Sunday finding a place to eat but knew Aspen Creek always comes through. I was so happy I went there last night. My friend didn't want to go, but he did. I ordered a rib eye and baked potato. Let me tell you, that steak was cooked to perfection. I have never had a steak from anywhere that wasn't either a little too done or under cooked. NOT TODAY!! I have always used steak sauce or ketchup....NOT TODAY!! This was the best meal I've ever had. The potato skins, to the Ski Bum cocktail. ..Excellent! And the service....Kayla W....all I can say is wow! She was a diner's dream server. So out going, personable, quick witted. She knew her stuff too. Jose came out of the kitchen to our table after I wanted to know who cooked that steak. He was so gracious. What an awesome experience. Thank you! No char or grill marks. Not even warm just room temperature. Sweet potato’s tasted like they had just came from the can and the Mac & cheese taste like plain pasta. Servers were great. Came in on a Sunday after church and it wasn't super busy, so that was great. Ordered an appetizer of some kind of shrimp (don't remember the band) on a bed of rice and it was amazing! Also ordered potato skins and when they brought them out, the cook told us that he didn't feel like they were his best so they brought out another one, on the house. I had a party of 7 and our food didn't take a really long time to come out. I ordered pork chops, with Brussel sprouts and yams. The yams were amazing and tastes like my grandmother's! The sprouts could've been double steamed... They were a little hard but tasty. When I got my to-go box, they brought out double steamed sprouts for me to take with the rest of my meal. My meal was less than $15! The size of the chops was really nice. It was my first time being there and I would go back!

Because if the coupon we decided to get dessert as a special treat. Big mistake. We got the brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream. It was terrible. The brownie tasted like it was made a week ago. It was stale and we couldn’t even get our spoons to cut through the middle it was so hard. This is a good restaurant if you are going for food and drinks, just don’t order dessert, it’s a waste of $7!!!!

There was a slight problem, however - the booth behind us had their truck's window broken into and we found out that it's actually very common. Visited Aspen Creek Grill tonight for the first time. I was dining with 3 other adults. I had the sirloin with the green chili cheese grits. The food was good. Everything was prepared as expected. Service was a bit slow for a week night but no complaints. That just gave us more time to chat. The space between the bench and the table is a bit small. A couple members of our party were squeezed in a bit snug. Just a word of caution if you need more space you may want to request a table rather than a booth. I would definitely return in the future.

First time there. Loaded baked potato soup was absolutely delicious. French fries we're probably better than most. The blue cheese burger didn't have enough blue cheese on it but it was still acceptable. The Caesar salad with grilled chicken was definitely disappointing. The lettuce had that earthy dirt smell to it and there was very little caesar dressing on it. The chicken was cold too which I didn't expect 🤷‍♀️ was reasonably priced thoughand the service was decent.

I am not sure what Chris' last name is but he was our server and was the best server we have ever had. He is super friendly, gave suggestions and chatted with us for a bit. Although he was busy he always came to check on us and kept a smile on his face! We have only been there 3 times - 3rd time is because we had a wonderful experience over all but was only for drinks at the bar. Each time we go we ask to sit in his area. Aspen Creek you have a wonderful employee. Maybe look at advancement for him. I am not sure if that is even something he wants to do but at least look at making him a Senior Trainer over all new servers!!! I am not in any way downing your other servers as we have not been placed with anyone else :-) But Chris is the Bomb and I will ask for him when we are there tonight!! Hope he works LOL

One of my Favs. Last 2 visit wasn't great giving them a break. Nicole Wright the same happened to us. It was 14 of us 4 adults and 5 teens 6 under ten. Was very rude they say the teen in a section with 7 dirty tables around them. Plus they tried to put a family of 3 at the same tables as 5 teens. There was 7/8 clean empty tables in our section but was told they couldn't seat them there because we might get up and talk with out mask. Our waiter was VERY AWESOME. I went here for my veteran's day meal and out of all the places I've been to this by far makes me feel accepted, comfortable and truly appreciated. The food is OUTSTANDING and you get what you pay for. They go above and beyond to make sure they show us appreciation and also offer 30% discount to military any day of the week! I was very apprehensive about going out due to recent events of shootings and racism but here I found nothing but kindness... Went on a Sunday after church hours. Place was calm. Server was great. Ordered smothered chicken(comes w cheese, mushrooms and onions) and my chicken came out with just cheese. Server quickly went to get onions and mushrooms but mushrooms were waaaaaay over cooked. Asked for more mushrooms and server stated it would be 10+minutes for more. Didn’t eat my meal. Fried pickles were good though.

Outstanding service. This is a great place for food that is delicious and healthy too. When we asked about carb count of the bbq sauce, our waitress Kelsey went and got the owner to talk to us. Steve explained ingredients, offered substitutions, and went above and beyond to make our meals just the way we wanted them. When the food arrived the steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The veggies were fresh and delicious. We both got the ribeyes and they were so big she had hers for lunch the next day too. The steaks had amazing flavor. This restaurant was an unexpected surprise that we just happened to try because it was close to the hotel and our original plans flopped when that restaurant turned out to be closed on Mondays. We will definitely be back to Aspen Creek Grill when we are in Louisville again.

Food was good but not a good place for a large group. They sat our party of 10 separately 4 at booth along the wall and 6 in center aisle. Seems they could of pushed tables together in center so we could all sit together. All management and hostesses were not on same page because I called days before to see if they could accommodate our party and they said yes then called day of 1 hr before (they don't take RSVP) and was told they don't do parties that large. After wife talked to mgt they couldn't guarantee we would be seated.. So we took a chance not wanting to call everyone in our party to change plans on short notice... Waitress left plates and glasses she exchanged for refills our entire time there

Informed server but I decided I didn't want to wait so I didn't send it back. I asked the server to check to see if I could get a free dessert. She said manager Josh and Joe said no free dessert and didn't offer any alternatives our even come over to apologize. They had the server do it. Extremely disappointing! I still say that our server Taylor was good.

I am going to give them a second shot because I think my biggest issue was the service. The food came out at different times and my companion didn't get her food till I was finished with my order. I asked for no tomato on my sandwich and my waiter told me he couldn't do that because the sandwich was pre done. I was a bit frustrated with everything. Afternoon lunch was delicious. Wife had The Monte Cristo, I had the Avalanche Steak sandwich. Requested the queso on the side, they put it on it, but came out to the table before serving to make sure I was ok with it. Normally restaraunts don't take that extra step, but it was appreciated. Little sloppy on the dipping sauce they spilled on the plate, but not a deal breaker. Good food, good service. We will be back!

They food here is normally awesome. Lately it has slipped a bit, I suspect untrained kitchen staff. If you go there ask for the carrot cake. It’s not on the menu and rarely made but it is to die for. One order feeds 2 easily

Woo wee, awesome House salads, Filet’s that you can almost cut with a fork. Plus if you like seafood, might I highly recommend the Aspen Creek Catch dinner. It comes with shrimp, nice serving of Cod fish, served on a bed of cooked seasoned rice with a special sauce that just makes your mouth water. I swear 99.5 % of the time The Catch is all I ever order. The Employees are friendly as can be, have never had any issues with this place and it’s kept spic and span clean as well. Plus they give any and all Military Veterans a 10% Discount in their order.

We came to Aspen Creek for lunch, and the soup and sandwich I got were only okay (tortilla soup and club sandwich). The creek fries were really good, though, and I highly recommend those. My wife and I agreed that we should come back and try dinner, thinking it will probably be better.

My wife and I love this place. She gets the Country Fried Steak, Mashed taters, and Mac n cheese. She did not like nor eat the mac n cheese. She is on the picky side. The a mac n cheese had too strong of a garlic taste. I usually get the Salmon. This time I chose to get the fried butterfly shrimp. It came with fries and Cole slaw. Slaw was good, light mayo type Slaw. Fries were fries. The shrimp though....they said "lightly fried". These were pretty dark and crispy. Batter didn't have much of any taste. Shrimp tasted ok though. Cocktail sauce was not hot like I like it.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. It is a "casual dining chain restaurant" but with a Southern Flair, and the food is cooked from scratch. Had the whole family there, and grandparents, and we enjoyed everything from burgers, to fish, to Shrimp & Grits! Service was prompt and friendly, Highly recommended!

First time eating here. Food was good, only complaint. When I got my combo order the shrimp were fried not grilled. It didn't say on the menu rather it was grilled or fried and I didn't ask. So I won't fault them on that. I assumed being the place was named Aspen Creek GRILL the shrimp would have been grilled in some way. The shrimp wasn't bad, but it was anything special either. The meal I had was very tasty, and the fried shrimp while large shrimp, was your basic breaded shrimp that you can order just about any place that does fried seafood. For me at least, this made the difference of being great place and your typical Applebee's TGI Fridays restaurant.

I eat here several times a week and it’s consistently great. Love the salmon, fish and chips, and the monte cristo. Nobody serves a good monte cristo anymore and this one is the best I’ve ever had. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Aspen Creek Grill is a great casual place to eat, kick back, relax, and enjoy a lively atmosphere. The menu offers good variety and is moderately priced. I ordered the Pow wow shrimp over rice. And let me tell you, these breaded shrimp that are drizzled with a spicy sweet chili sauce, pack a serious punch. This dish is listed under appetizers and is definitely large enough to enjoy as an entree. It was out of this world! Service was outstanding too! Be sure and check it out and enjoy!

Tonight my sweet husband went to pick up a carry out for our family. I’ve been in the hospital on and off a month, and he’s been carrying the load for our whole family with me being down. I thought a break for him without cooking would be delightful. I decided to order a carry out from Aspen Creek Oxford. Our son suffers from severe food allergies which Aspen Creek always goes above to accommodate his dietary needs. He came home starving and everything was there but his meal. He called and just asked to have it removed from our bill and was settled on eating my salad. He has had a very long day caring for our family and couldn’t think of driving back there tonight (he was just exhausted). Instead of making him come back, or even just taking his entree off the bill they went the extra mile, literally and drove it to our home. My husband never asked or knew that was an option, they just offered. 15 minutes later he is now enjoying his meal. I’m very grateful for them because I felt horrible having our meals and he was just content on having my tiny salad. But tonight someone showed him extra kindness and made it a little easier on him when they left his meal off. Very nice!!!! Thank you!!!

Great place to go in L'ville. 02/13/18 So it was so good last night, decided to try other menu options. Staff were excellent! Ordered salmon salad, best I've had, very fresh and tasty. Carrot cake made in house by Cara, owner, was nothing short of spectacular, and I'm not usually a carrot cake fan. Very moist and flavorful. Went to the Shelbyville Rd. location last Sat. night w/my party of 6. Got seated right away. Service was great, as was all our food orders. I had ordered the Fish & Chips, couldn't say much for the so-called seasoned fry's, or the same lack-luster flavorless slaw, but the Fish was the best I have ever remember having in my 71 years. It was cooked to perfection with a great light crispy breading, and a complemented by a great Tarter Sauce. Great experience, and wouldl recommend this Aspen to friends. Be back soon.

I was trying somewhere different for my birthday. I ended up only eating a salad and a potato because my chicken wasnt right ugh!!! The waitress was new and it was a party of 15. She got everyone's order wrong kept forgeting everything and couldn't keep up with the demands of being a waitress. Im not upset with her because they should have had someone else helping her. Also, I was sad because it was my bday dinner and it wasn't the best. Well hopefully she gets better.

We were visiting Louisville from another big city. We always look for restaurants that we don't have at home. Drove 10 minutes to St. Matthews and found Aspen creek. Glad we did. Fantastic place. The Aspen bleu steak... Phenomenal. Rivaled those of more popular "steah houses" ie... R$th Chr&s and Ch+p house. This steak @$14.99. Bargain! Flavorful and cut with a fork tender. The other food we had was also great. Mixed drinks, perfect. Service was great. The manager, Steve or maybe Stephen, even spoke to us and seemed ginuine as we had conversation. We will be returning when we are in the area.
