Stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago. What an amazing experience. Our server, Summer, was very nice and easy-going. She made us feel right at home and gave us great recommendations! The menu does not show a vegetarian/vegan option, however they can accommodate this if you ask. My wife is a vegetarian and loved it! Both dishes had so much flavor and the portions are generous, we had plenty for later. Didn’t get a photo of the tofu spring rolls, but highly recommend these also. Maybe the best peanut sauce I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere, delicious food, great value, fantastic service. Will definitely be back again and again!

Stopped in for dinner. Had a beer, spring rolls and the grilled pork and shrimp noodle bowl. Every item was delicious. The only wait staff was very busy taking, placing and delivering orders to the tables. Looks like they have a stage for live music.

November 2021- We moved here from Washington and have been on the hunt for good Asian food. I ordered the Rare Beef Pho to go. Well..... The pho here is legit! All the flavors you that you know and love! We will be back for sure. Go, you won't be disappointed! Update April 2022, got the Rare Beef pho and a Thai iced tea and both were on point! Delish!

Mike's is a Vietnamese Cafe where you seat yourself and the food is fantastic. However, the service can be slow. I had to get up and pay for my ticket long before the server brought me it.

Driving to this place, I was unsure of the kind of place we were going to. When we pulled in, it looked rinky dink. Those are the kinds of places where you get the REAL food. I go in, my god. This place looks way smaller on the outside. Its huge, music is nice, everything is clean and well decorated. The food was the best part. It looked small from the outside, but it packed BIG FLAVOR. personally, I like trying different foods, but I dragged my girlfriend along. Her diet consists of pizza and Mexican food. She was extra skeptical, but even she loved the food here. It was a great experience. I'd definitely recommend this place. Lots of food that tastes great, that doesnt bust your wallet.

Great place for homey Vietnamese food. There are not many Viet places in LR. This place is authentic and gets super busy for lunch. I had a bowl of pho tai bo bien, and it was flavorful and hot. They only offer one size, and it is huge! The broth was perfect and not filled with fat. The service is nice too!

Pretty good authentic food, but be prepared whenever they’re short staffed cause wait time for is minimum of 30min when i went for dine-in. We ordered right when we sat down and my friend got her food 15min later and for me 30min later. There’s was also a bunch of flys flying around, one even landed in another person’s bowl. Awesome music and friendly serviers

Kitchen was short staffed, however the wait wasnt long and the food for the table was served at once 👍👍. Food was great! The waitress was good had a great vibe even tho her and the other 2 waitresses where busy nonstop. Overall great service!

Had PHO TAI and it was fantastic. Basil was fresh and tasty. Jalapeno peppers were very spicy, just like I usually like them. Getting too old for some of the spice though, or my guts are at least. Son had fried rice chicken but ate a lot of my Pho. I still had plenty though. I ate/drank every drop.

Great hole-in-the-wall place. The spring rolls were good. We both had the pho, rare beef and combination. The broth was flavorful and served with lime/cilantro/peppers/bean sprouts. Good, quick go-to place for pho. They also serve beer and wine.

Upon entering the establishment, we weren’t greeted or accommodated to a table so we assumed that it was up to us to choose a table even though there only two customers inside. The waitresses that were on duty were a girl with a piercing on her nose and the other one with tattoos. When we arrived to the table we chose, we were greeted by the sight of clutter on the floor and on the seats like food scraps and napkins. I, myself, had to clean the table and the seats by myself. Although, the food was good overall. Just a little bit of cleanliness would do the trick.

A very casual atmosphere with friendly waiters. They usually only have two at a time so patience can be required if they are busy, which they should. The food here is amazing in both portion, price, and taste. They are one of the only places in Little Rock that offer pho (a Vietnamese soup) and they have the best pho I have had in Arkansas. They only have one size for their pho, which is large and cheap. I reccomend the p1 which has everything in it. For appetizers I recommend their egg rolls or a Bahn Mi, which is an amazing Vietnamese sandwich. They also serve different cuisines from China like the typical Lo mein which is also great. For drinks, the Thai tea is a great choice for sweets. Any of their dishes can be made vegetarian. Definitely a must go for Vietnamese food lovers.

The food was really great, the service was good, the waiter met me at the door and held it for me to get my wheelchair through. But the restrooms are truly a nightmare for those with disabilities. The Men's "handicapped" stall had grab bars installed but in utterly useless places and the toilet seat was actually broken. I was forced to use the Lady's room which also featured useless grab rails. Because of this, I may order take out but I will not be dining in again.

What an amazing experience. Great food and super staff who helped us navigate a HUGE menu. So many vegetarian choices with outstanding flavor and multiple choices for the meat-eaters as well. This was our first time at Mike's but the first of many I know!

They are working extremely hard to to keep customers satisfied during these difficult times so please be respectful to your servers and tip well! One of my favorite foods is Vietnamese and to be able to find somewhere with such an authentic taste (my Vietnamese girlfriend approves) in Little Rock is fantastic! The menu is very extensive and the staff are super friendly. They even rushed our order since we were in a rush to get back to work. Highly recommend!

I love their pho. They are about 20 to 30 minutes from where I live but I will gladly make the drive. Their fried tofu and egg rolls are delicious. I love the rice vermicelli bowls, especially the pork. Their banh mi with the grilled pork is fire!!!! I probably go about 4 or 5 times a month if not more.

Great Vietnamese food in a Mom & Pop/casual setting, definitely a hidden gem. Friends ordered the Beef Phở - most phở's are too fishy for my taste but Mike's is mellow, more emphasis on a meaty broth. I ordered the B1 - rice noodles with grilled meats, shrimp, spring roll, and lots of veggies. Super fresh and the dipping sauce was amazing. Our server was great and was very accommodating when I forgot to ask for no peanuts. If you don't mind no AC and a "little rough around the edges" atmosphere, the food is well worth it.

I'm bad about not taking pics when I'm hungry, next time 😇. I came in for the Pho this particular visit. It was excellent! I ordered mine with fish and imitation crab meat. The broth was very tasty and clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it was a bit cold dining in & our table wasn't completely clean.

The customer service was excellent! I ordered the chicken wings asvan appetizer. They didn't have any seasoning, but the sauce served with them was good. The spring rolls we're good too It was my first time dining there. The atmosphere was Inice, and so was the music! It's beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. I recommended the place to my daughter. She was so excited. She ordered$30 worth of food, but had an emergency call. We called them back, and they offered to make the order fresh the next day, instead of just refrigerating it, as we'd requested. I will definitely be back! 😋

Vietnamese dishes are very authentic and good. I particularly like their pork chop dish with broken rice and big bowl of beef pho. But there are two things you need to know before you go there. If you don't mind seeing flies flying around and dining without AC, this is a good place to taste Vietnamese dishes in Little Rock. Hope the owner will fix both issues soon.

Coming from a larger city with a lot of Vietnamese restaurants. . .This is the best place to eat Vietnamese food around here. I have eaten here over 50 times. The spring rolls have an awesome peanut dipping sauce. The egg rolls are good. The pho is great. The crunchy noodle, sandwiches, vermicelli noodles, and chicken wings are all good choices. The neighborhood is not great but inside feels like home. The staff is always friendly.

This is the 4th time I have eaten here and the last. Food was tasty but tiny portions of meat for the amount of money I spent. The Korean BBQ tasted great but maybe 2-3 ounces of meat and 10 ounces of bone with fat. $12 for a $4 meal. Last time my stir fry was full of celery and other fluff with little meat. It tasted good but expensive for the portions. Sorry

Love the pho here! The service is a bit slow, and there are more flies than I'm comfortable with, but the food has always been good. On one occasion there was a large bone fragment in my bun bowl which cut the roof of my mouth. No apology was offered or discount given, but I haven't found bones since.

Excellent Pho. I had the beef and the broccoli oyster sauce was really filling with the fried rice. Egg Rolls were served hot and pretty tasty too. Beers were ice cold! Prompt friendly service. I’m becoming a regular.

I enjoyed the food but the service was not good. We placed orders for 3 dishes for 3 people. Two came in a fair amount of time (could have been quicker) but the third dish didn't arrive until the first two were served and eaten and it was time to go. We inquired about the missing dish shortly after the first 2 were served but was given no reason for the 3rd being missing. Just that the cook was working on it. Still nothing 15 min later. I believe it was at least an hour that we waited for the 3rd dish No real apology and no discount offered by the manager/owner. As long as we waited I feel the dish should have been free.

Absolutely the best pho in town. I could eat here every day. It is not easy to see or find, but has spectacular food. Strongly recommend the place for eat in our take out. I have greatly enjoyed everything I've eaten here. The menu is fairly extensive and they have a wide variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Very fresh ingredients. I highly recommend going out of your way to find it.

I get the rare beef pho every time I come. Tasty broth, tender meat, great price. Thai tea is good too. Egg rolls are hit or miss. Tasty, but luck of the draw if they're served hot or not. And being served 3 is awkward as most tables have 2 patrons. My husband had generals chicken, he said it was really good. Chicken was not breaded, sauce was tasty with good amount of spice. We'd eat here again.

We love this place! Best pho in town, by far! Pho is my ultimate comfort food so we will definitely be back. I'm not usually a fan of egg rolls but their egg rolls are insanely good and a must try for anyone who comes here! Every time we have come it hasn't been busy or loud. I ordered the #3 on the menu. It is rice noodle soup with beef and meatballs. It is sooo delicious! And the server, Tony, is really nice and friendly too. If you're ever out this way, stop by. Food is sooo good!!

Don't let the name fool you. This is authentic Vietnamese food. Had a few Bahn Mi and fresh spring rolls to go. Open kitchen so you can see them cooking. Next time I'm eating in to try the Pho. Check out their menu.

I would have given 5 stars but the portions were small and there was no option to pay extra for a larger portion. I had Pho with rare beef (P2) it was delicious as expected but other Vietnamese restaurants serve larger portions for the same price.

I have eaten a lot of pho. The city I come from has one on almost every corner...that and sushi/coffee😂 This is the best Pho in Little Rock. The broth is flavourful but not too fatty or greasy. The rare beef was the perfect colour red. They gave plenty of toppings.

I'd say I have mixed feelings about this. The appetizer, egg rolls were really good, and my meal, Kung Pao chicken, was really good. But my partners meal, shrimp fried rice, was not very good. Very plain with cheap shrimp It also took a really long time to get our food and a refill. The price was pretty good. 28 for 2 entries an app and drinks

Excelent food. Even at close to closing. I came in at 830 pm. My food was hot. Fresh. Delicious. Best spring rolls I've ever had. The peanut sauce that came with it is to die for. The staff was nice and accommodating. I had not been to this restaurant before and he recommended my meal. It was beyond any expectation. Very much, stop here, try this food. It's fat guy approved.

Loved it! Great vegetarian options and really friendly staff. Today we kept it simple and tried the stir fried veggies with tofu, vegetarian fried rice, fried tofu and spring rolls. They were all great, we especially liked the spring rolls and stir fried veggies. We'll definitely be back, looking forward to trying the vegetarian pho and chow mein.

Being a Vegetarian The Pho is all I've had But it was A+ I had to have it again the NEXT DAY! Also they serve Alcohol, at a great price! Fast friendly service, pop music, nice paintings & atmosphere. Food or drink very Fair pricing . I highly recommend giving Mikes a try.

I've been here several times and I probably will keep coming back because their food is delicious and cheap (it's near the college). Their menu is very large including Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai. And I'm not joking when I say they give you a lot of food. The only meals I've ever finished were the pho. Every other plate I've had to take home. They also have karaoke and a stage but unfortunately I've never seen anyone use it.

I appreciate that this is literally the only place I can get vegetarian broth for Phò in all of Little Rock. I called another restaurant to ask if they used veggie broth instead of only beef broth. The man on the phone said “no veggie broth, but we have pork broth!” If I’m asking for veggie I don’t want pork. Mike’s Cafe has veggie broth as well as seafood broth. They give wonderfully large sized portions and their food is really tasty. The only reason I gave 4 stars is for the lack of mask usage for the men who cook the food, and one time when I asked for extra veggies a guy who helps serve and take orders went to the back and got my veggies with out washing his hands. As a person who comes from a family with a health inspector in it, and we are literally living during a pandemic I do notice things a lot more. I also scrutinize people’s hygiene behaviors including mask wearing and hand washing a lot more. Besides those issues, Mike’s made me feel like the restaurants I left back home in Maryland.

Not only do I love the Vietnamese cuisine, the convenient location, the invitingly friendly atmosphere, but I feel like the staff could be my best friends. I wish I personally knew the owners so I could sit down with them and ask intimate questions about how they prep their entrees, so when I go home and try to copy I would have a better idea of how to do it. I dropped by this afternoon after a painful visit with my dentist, in a bad mood, could barely open my mouth, and I was served a bowl of pho, a nice cold beer, and felt much better when I left with all of the food I couldn't chew because of the pain. I'm going to have a wonderful dinner tonight. Thank you to the owners, the chefs, and the wonderful staff. I really appreciate your help this afternoon. See you soon, Deb

Pricing is ok and food are decent compare to the other Vietnamese restaurant. The staff are very nice and courteous. Honestly, since I came from Houston, the food is not comparable to what I usually get for the price it comes with. But it will do sufficiently when you have a craving for a hot bowl of Pho.

Here in Little Rock for training, was recommended this quaint restaurant for Pho soup. The clerk was so helpful- he informed me how to prepare the soup when I returned to the hotel - it was so good. Mike’s is the best! I will definitely return before heading back home to Memphis! Thanks again!

I always get the Pho and Vietnamese eggs rolls, and those are spot on. I've taken others here that have traversed the very large menu a bit better than I have and everyone has been pleased. An excellent place with an acceptably, and oddly endearing, atmosphere.

It's not the best pho I had, but honestly it was really good and a nice size for the price !I still think vegan options should always be cheaper than meats because it really is less energy and time needed to produce and make, but unfortunately it's just like that in general. Besides that the staff was very nice and accommodating and they will cater to vegan as much as possible. You really won't sacrifice taste if you ask for the vegan versions plus it helps saving an innocent life, healthier and environmentally friendly. I'm positive they won't make it a problem. I'm actually thinking of going back now instead of expensive WholeFoods

Mike's place has an interesting atmosphere. It looks like it was designed to be a bar or club in a previous life, and lots of that look remains. There is still very loud music, and the bar is still intact. That said, the food is superb. The vegetables are fresh, the vermicelli is well-prepared, the spring rolls are well prepared and tasty, and their meats and sauces are perfect. I will definitely be back.

The name and location are unassuming, but don’t be deceived! It’s pho-king delicious. Spring rolls were fresh, banh mi was savory and filling, and the pho was rich and flavorful. The cost is so so reasonable, I’m blown away with the quality. Truly a diamond in the rough. Please give Mikes Cafe a chance, you won’t regret it.

Just about everything on the menu can be made vegan, including the bahn mi sandwich. The tea is delicious and floral...every time I've had it, they use a beautiful white jasmine blend. You can get a full meal here for less than $10, but don't let that fool you. The recipies are authentic, and there is consistent attention to quality. The staff are nice, too. They get to know you and your favorite orders after just a few visits, which was impressive. Mike's is right across the street from UALR, too, making it easy to get actual food and get back to work/school.
