For a place that has 0 atmosphere (seriously… it’s kinda like a fast food place?) and the food is served on disposable plates with disposable utensils… the food is AMAZING. It was simple breakfast food but literally the most perfectly cooked waffle, eggs, bacon and grits I have ever had anywhere. I would go out of my way to get breakfast here again and next time I would try some of the more interesting items on the menu - but they do the classics right!

We went here twice over the course of our vacation in Las Vegas, and both times it was delicious!! The Southern special includes fried chicken and is super tasty. Everyone was friendly and welcoming! We will definitely visit again when we're back in the area.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Waffles Cafe! Even since moving to the other side of town I make it over here as often as I can. My absolute fav is the breakfast sandwich. I love their blazing sauce on whatever sandwich I get. Definite must try and get addicted for yourself. The staff is always friendly and the owner is a sweetheart and always says comes out to say hi to me. Support your local businesses always!

Came here for breakfast, they had a few tables open with distancing so we could sit down and eat. The staff were SUPER friendly and the food was literally off-the-hook. Delicious and fresh. The waffle fries were nice and crispy, the strawberry whipped butter was awesome, the blazing sauce was an awesome combo with the pipping hot and crispy chicken tenders and the sweet waffle underneath. 10/10 Will definitely come back!!

My husband and I have been coming here since the very beginning. Now we bring our kids and they love it as much as we do. The owner is so nice and welcoming and the food is delicious! My favorite is the chicken and waffles❤️ the blazing sauce and strawberry butter really work well with that plate. As long as this place stays open, my family and I will continue to come here.

Cute spot just about a mile away from Aliente Casino in a strip mall. Walk in to the restaurant and order at the counter. The lady working at the counter is VERY VERY NICE. I wish I got her name. In addition, the worker from the back kitchen was also a very nice man and too bad I didn't get his name either. Food: • Chicken with Waffle • Side order of scrambled eggs and bacon I was not a fan of the waffle but the chicken was good. I added a lot of butter and maple syrup. The BLAZING SAUCE was AMAZING!!! I dipped my chicken in it and loved every bite. The scrambled eggs and bacon was meh. The service was a bit slow. We probably waited long because of FRESH fried chicken or because there were a lot of orders ahead of us for take out. Overall, I will give them another try and order something else. I will however recommend the fried chicken.

I would go eat here 10 more times this week if possible!!! Great Staff! Attentive, helpful and patient which is allot more then I can say to the old man who walked in halfway through our big order and started being frustrated that we were taking long to order. When we started the order we were the only customers in the whole restaurant and we definitely had a huge group. Waffles are the best here!!!!! Must have! Still trying to wrap myself around a cheese pizza waffle!

Are you concerned your takeout waffles from Waffles won't fill that waffle shaped hole in your heart? Don't be, since Waffles Cafe has provided all the portion cups needed to BYOW (you know it stands for waffle eon't make me spell it out...) The chicken and waffles provided some incredible flavors from the comfort of my home. Don't sleep on these waffles, they aren't open super late so you'll have to get up at some point while there's still light.

I've been coming here for a while now and have always loved the food and service. They have so many different options to pick from. I have never been disappointed. My favorite sandwich has to be the blazing grilled chicken sandwich with sweet tea. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. And in the times I've been here I have also never been bothered by the other patrons being rude or too loud.

This place is busy for a good reason. The seasoning of the chicken is amazing and it's cooked so well and not dry. The Waffles are really good and their varieties are all different and delicious. Their smoothies taste fresh. The service was great and they made sure everything was good for us. Will be coming again.

That food was pretty, you order and pay then they bring your food out to you, what didn't like was they give you a styrofoam plate and plastic utensils to eat not exactly a proper dining experience.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich with hash browns and a blueberry smoothie. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. I didn’t know how I’d feel with the waffle bun but the sauce they use is sweet and compliments/blends all the flavors really well. The Waffle was cooked perfectly. The hash brown was lackluster tbh and definitely frozen before fried. I would’ve preferred shredded hash browns based on how good the sandwich was. The blueberry smoothie was great but a little on the sweeter side and kind of icey more like a slushy but still enjoyed it. I’d definitely come back and try other things on the menu. The service was good and the seating is social and open. Recommend coming here if you’re in the area and looking for a decent breakfast or lunch that’s around the corner.

The food was very good but very slow coming out. Then came without syrup or jam. I asked for some and she said she would be right back. Eventually I ate a dry waffle, that was still good, and left before the server ever returned. It really was good food. Just poor service.

Although we had a rough start (messed up our carry out order); they redeemed themselves! The food and service were phenomenal! The young man that addressed EVERYTHING was awesome! Waffles cafe is a great breakfast place! Their waffles always come out looking delicious and taste just the same. The chicken is juicy, tender, crunchy, perfect; add some syrup and Louisiana and its sublime. Drinks are good, parfaits are good, fruit is fresh, flavors are all there. I love the vibe and look of the whole restaurant. The service is always amazing. The staff are very pleasant and listen attentively to your order. Every worker is nice and makes sure you have what you need. I can't recommend this place more! The food is delicious and the service is great.

First time trying this place. Ordered on line. However, not an option to order extra sides that I found. Ordered pancakes as well but got waffles instead. Seems some items ordered changed when you scroll over the menu to select sides and options. The container of sausage gravy was not even half filled. Was expecting grilled onions with my hashbrowns as I requested in the comment section. However, they were more like a fast food hashbrown (no onions). Menu was creative and was really excited to try the food but it wasn't quite what I expected. Priced right for the quality of food I received and the the young lady that brought out my order was very friendly and pleasant. If you're a fan of waffles, they definitely have them. Sandwiches are even made with 2 waffles instead if bread. Maybe try the seasoned potatoes, might get grilled onions with them or maybe not. Either way, glad I tried it.

Took my daughter here for her 14th birthday breakfast, it was our first time eating here and we were very happy with our choice. She ordered a breakfast sandwich and I got the chicken tenders and waffle fries, we were both very happy, everything was delicious! It was hot inside, maybe their HVAC system was having issues but other than that everything was fantastic.

First off the food is so delicious, another great thing about this place is the owners Kim and Reggie are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Their tornado fries are awesome, and the waffles of course to die for all of the different ways they make them either savory or sweet. The buffalo chicken waffle sandwich is amazing. Also the fruit smoothies are super delicious and always fresh. Everyone should come and try at least something here because everything is absolutely delicious. Love it!!!

Update!!! I returned to the establishment with amazing food as always. That woman who rang my order on my initial experience (see below) was not there. The same kind cooks and warm atmosphere! I definitely recommend this place as the food is incredible! Now the atmosphere matches! 👏🏽☺️ Customer service needs a lot of work...great food! The older staff taking orders at the counter showed no thoughtfulness or initiative during my entire experience. I asked for information and items and had to wave her down repeatedly. I had to approach the counter repeatedly while leaving my food unattended at the table. She brought my food and drink and sat my drink down at the register ... never went back to get it.. I watched as she ignored my waving. I approached the counter and asked for my drink.. also sauce.. so many moments for her to redeem the poor service with just acknowledging the error, apologizing, ANYTHING. I will not be dining in ever again. Why did I dine in? It was my first time coming in (had previously ordered delivery). I was elated to find that it was ran by people of color. I wish there was another representative of the restaurant taking my order today. I hate that my first time in, is my last time in. Humbly, I cleared and cleaned my own table. So saddened by this.

First time coming in today! Service was phenomenal from start to finish. As soon I walked up to the cashier they asked if it was my first time, patiently explained the menu to me. Checked on my SO and I frequently but not too much, food came out at a great time and food was great! On their wall their was a quote from the Las Vegas Review Journal stating, "Waffles Cafe is to Waffles what Willy Wonks was to Candy". My fiancé and I dined here 5 minutes ago and I absolutely had to leave a review because GOOD GOD that food was SO good! I don’t know what they put in that waffle batter but that’s what truly made it unique. Phew! 🙌🏾 The eggs are REAL (not that fake egg mixture stuff at ihop) the bacon was crispy but not burnt, the grits actually had some salt in them and were NOT bland at all, and the waffles were JUST crispy enough and soft on the inside!!! Also, I’m mot sure which was better.. the food or the service! The girl at the front is the SWEETEST and literally explained the entire menu to us with a smile on her little face the whole time. I found out that the owner (who took time out to greet and chat with me) is a black lady from Florida. THAT explains the southern hospitality we received!! 🤍🥳 Looking back at some of the negative reviews, it looks like that must have been some older staff that is gone now because the young staff we experienced brought our food and drinks to us, checked up on us multiple times while we ate and did so with a smile. Unfortunately we don’t live in Nevada otherwise we’d come here all the time!!!

Yummy food... I get a build your own waffle with Nutella, strawberries, and pecans added. It comes with powdered sugar and whipped cream. I also get a strawberry butter on the side which makes the waffle taste even more delicious. They have like 4 different flavors of syrup and tons of toppings. Kim, the owner, is nice and respectful. Their crispy bacon is perfect! My bf tried the chicken and waffles and he loved it.

Great food however the service completely sets them apart. Interacted with three employees during my visit. Each were very professional, clean and kind. Without being intrusive staff was checking up consistently making sure we were taken care of. Restaurant was spotless and a great atmosphere. Had the breakfast waffle sandwich. It was delicious. The waffle was soft on the inside, and slightly crunchy on the outside. The coffee was good, but a bit bland. Prices were very reasonable. I will absolutely seek this place out again next time in Vegas.

The best waffles I have ever tasted! I don't eat waffles typically. Gave this place a try and I had my mind blown. It was like a eating a waffle for the first time. The menu options and possibilities are literally endless. I enjoyed what I am calling the "Apple Pie Waffle" with the warm apples sauted perfectly and dressed with cinnamon and whipped cream a la mode. The fluffy and crispy texture of the waffle was airy and an ideal vessel for this fanciful party of flavors that danced on my tongue. I drizzled just enough syrup on top to remind me that I was eating a waffle. Then I devoured this delicious treat with no hesitation. I have found the best waffles and I can't keep this place a secret! Only draw backs would be the plastic cutlery and paper plates. But I couldn't be distracted by these things once I realized that the dish was cooked to such perfection. I was able to cut through the waffle with ease. As for the price... it's worth it! Treat yourself!!

The customer service here is always on point! The food is fresh and delicious. My kids love it here. While we were here there was a family of four with a fussy 18 month. The parents were not able to eat their food and finally decided to just box it up. One of the employees (looked like possibly the manager) took the little one on a tour of the restaurant to give Mom and Dad a chance to eat and pack up their food. It was super sweet. I didn't like their iced vanilla latte (it was too sweet for my taste) when employee noticed I hadn't drank it they offered me another option.

This place was great! We got there about an hour before closing and they still gave us a great amount of attention and care. The Oat Qaffles taste sweet but are light and fluffy! There are so many more items I want to try but going on stage for a comp soon and have already made this place one of my favorite places to visit after that's done. This specialty waffle shop hit brunch spot-on for us. Plenty of options from house specials to build your own, and even non-waffle selections. The potato scramble was delicious, after adding some veggies to it. The half waffle made an excellent side dish. The chocolate waffle with cherry pie filling and ice cream had plenty of sweetness and was delicious. I loved how excited the staff was to explain how the menu and how the process worked. It added to the experience quite nicely.

First time ordering here! I ordered the breakfast sandwich combo, waffle fries were my side, and a Thai milk tea with boba. The waffle fries were AMAZING!! They were deliciously seasoned, nice and crispy! The waffle sandwich itself was delicious as well! The waffle itself wasn't too sweet, which I enjoyed. The spread they used was amazing! It compliments the seasoning used on the bacon. I will say that the milk teas served here is better than a lot of the boba shops in vegas. The boba is soft and not too chewy. The milk tea itself is an enjoyable sweetness, not too sweet just right imo. And it's decently priced! 10/10 will come again

I was visiting friends from out of town. Looked on Google for a place near by to get breakfast and found Waffles Cafe. I had no idea what to expect but I was hungry and not really picky anyway. when I walked in, it took a minute to figure out the menu, but once I figured it out, it was awesome. You can pretty much build your own breakfast. The prices were very reasonable and the food ended up to be great. The only downfall is that they serve on paper plates. I would have rather had a typical restaurant plate, but realize that requires cleaning, more wages and higher prices. Eggs were cooked exactly as I asked and the waffle was awesome. Seasoned potatoes tasted more like fries so I wasn't a big fan of those, But here's the icing on the cake... there were 2 young men working in there serving & bussing the tables as well as a woman taking food orders. Three of the most polite people I've ever met in my life. Never would have expected that in North Las Vegas. If she was the owner, I wish her nothing but extreme success! Props to the two young men. They were awesome. As I ate my breakfast, I observed that these three weren't just polite to my wife & I, they treated everyone just as awesome 👍👍👍

What an experience! First of all, when you walk in you are invariable greeted by a friendly greeting and helpful staff. Once you take in all that is offered, the ordering experience is a breeze. The shop is set up in a very nice setting that makes one feel like they’re in a classic breakfast diner with a modern, waffle-themed twist. Finally the food is astounding - so good! The waffles are perfectly cooked. The sides are not just sides but are treated just as well as any main course. If you’re in Vegas, this is a can’t-miss breakfast!

Came on a Sunday morning. The young lady working the register has great customer service skills. Extremely polite!! The young guy delivering the food to the table also was very friendly and polite. My absolute favorite breakfast spot in north Las Vegas.. however, I find their use of single use plastics to be increasingly troubling. Plastic forks and knives. Disposable coffee cups that they have to serve you in a paper boat filled with single use creamer cups. Do your part. Hire a dishwasher. Save the planet.

This place is the spot for locals that appreciate great tasing hole in the wall spots , it’s an American twist on a Belgium Waffle. I tried the Blazing Chicken & Waffle Sandwich with the waffle fries! Waffle is crispy outside and fluffy inside for a sandwich I was impressed the sandwich kept its shape it wasn’t sloppy at all. The chicken was juicy and overall great taste with seasoning and spices for the Blaze! The experience is a friendly environment , the cashier Alize is super informative and definitely hooked up the taste buds with the great recommendations she gave when we said we were new customers . Definitely a come back ! Thanks for the great service. It’s what I would define as casual style dining w/ a family home atmosphere. TIP- The best table in the house is by the kitchen entry so you can smell all the cooking!

I love it love it here. This is the one place on the west coast that knows how to make some grits. There was only one time when the grits was OKAY but it was probably a different cook that day. Other than this place is AWESOME. They different varieties of waffles. You can choose turkey sausage and bacon if you want and the service is wonderful.

We love this hidden gem! Not only is the food great, but the customer service is fantastic! We had just ordered and were just sitting at a table waiting for our food. An employee walked past and noticed there was syrup spilled on our table. She offered to wipe down the table for us. Our daughter (16 months) was with us and the employee was careful to avoid her hands while wiping our table and asked us about our child. I made a comment that she was just a bit grumpy this morning and she offered to bring us some fruit for her while we waited for our food. As a mother, I was very grateful. I let her know we had only just ordered so I wasn’t in a hurry. She brought us some sliced banana for her anyway and didnt charge us extra. That’s customer service. I didn’t catch her name but that employee show exemplary service. **edit** I found out after that the employee was actually the owner Kim!! So amazing to see an owner who actually cares about her customers!

Quaint little place. At the time when I went I had started a vegan diet and they were accommodating to not use milk in my oatmeal and fruit bowl. Not a place to go for a vegan but it was nice to be there. It's very home grown small business feel and the girls working there were sweet. Nice music playing while we ate.

This little gem in tucked Downtown in the Golden Nugget. They feature seafood but have great steaks. We had 12 people in our party and everyone was very pleased with their food and great service. The presentations are extraordinary. Worth every penny. We will definitely be going back

The original waffle and chicken strips I ate had a weird flavor. I expected the hashbrowns to look like homemade style hashbrowns but they looked more like McDonald's. The strawberry butter was delicious. I'd probably get something else next time.

My wife and I try to make it out to Waffles once a week. Honestly, we've never had a bad experience here and plan to keep coming back for the delicious chicken and waffles for as long as we're able to. Pro tip: get some hot strawberry syrup to go along with the strawberry butter, it all comes together devastatingly well with their hot sauce.

This is a great "mom and pop" place to eat! It's family owned and run and the service is extremely friendly...they make you feel like part of the family! Who would have thought that a restaurant solely based on Waffles could thrive? They did and they make it work from breakfast through dinner. They have every kind of waffle creation you can imagine and if they didn't create it, you can! They even have waffle pizzas, which are so delicious. This is a regular stop for my family now. Kudos to the owners!

We have eaten here 2 times. I wish I could give it a four because we like waffles. For now it's just a three. The chicken and waffles are good and so are the Hawaiian waffles. Maybe better service with a few tweaks of the menu will boost it up to a 4. We liked it.

I ordered hi Ken and waffles, the waffles were cooking enough, not crispy, the chicken tenders were flavorless and the waterdown maple syrup was also lacking flavor. However, I observed some regulars come in so they must be doing some things right or people's taste buds are malfunctioning. As a benefit of a doubt, I give then 3stars.

It's an OK place. It's very one of those where the service is do-it-yourself -- serve yourself water, get your own coffee, paper plates, plastic utensils and you even get to bus your own table. You can place your order right at the door. That's what they yell out as soon as you come thru the door. I ordered a plain waffle with butter and syrup - it was aww-right. Belgium style waffle but the syrup was not sweet. I'm glad I did not try one of the fruity "concoctions". The Cook came out to serve us. Nice clean and reasonable.

Way too casual for me. Order at the counter, get your own drinks (unless you get a smoothie). Paper plates, plastic flatware. It's like eating at a Subway that serves waffles. Waffles were o.k. Prices are about the same as other restaurants. Not at all what I expected. Next time I will drive a few extra miles to Harvest Cafe and enjoy a little ambiance, real dishes, glasses and silverware and be served at the table for about the same price.

I came in here craving some kind of brunch with waffles..and don't get me wrong..they have exactly that, but not a lot of vegitarian items. They have a vegi pizza, but its a sad excuse for food itself and even more sad that even a waffle couldn't make this yummy. It was only green peppers and mushrooms and cheese.. The sause was tasteless, almost as if they used the jared stuff and absolutely NO love was put in it. It was so soggy when it arrived that I wouldn't even call it food, it was kinda like soggy paper. I was so hungry and sad about my soggy waffle squish that I cried. soI need up sharing with my boyfriend. The next day I still wanted brunch, so this time I got and just an egg sandwich with waffle fries and it was pretty bomb. Now, I'm not saying they don't have amazing food here..they do. But vegetarians may have trouble finding something ,but I suppose that's normal.. They really should have a vegetarian help come up with a few more vegitarian friendly items.. We love waffles too!!! And the waffles could be a wee bit crisper to support the toppings, Buuuuuut not a deal breaker 😊 ill deffinatly eat here again, ill just have to take some time with the menu.
