I'm so happy this wonderful restaurant found its way to Vegas. I originally found it in California, so when this came to Vegas it makes my LV trips all the more enjoyable. Happy hour starts at 3PM and that made my favored dish (mini duck tacos) even better. Seriously though, the pizza is great, but the mini duck tacos are one of the best things I've had in my life! I hope they always keep it on the menu. The Flatbread Crackers with butter are also on my list of favorite things. I swear, if there was a Sammy's in Houston I'd eat there every week!

First time there. With a friend who's been there many times. Really good service, nice appetizers (pork pot stickers & meatballs w bread). Main meal was Angel hair pasta with shrimp, really tasty and Alan had a mushroom pizza, again cook the way he likes it. The ambience Sammy's is excellent. Low lighting, clean booths, nice table layout. Reminds me of a 50's & 60's look, but modern. The host Ann, came to every table to check in. Sorry forgot to take pics of the place. Also if you come to eat by yourself (like I do sometimes) they have a dinning bar (gaming is nextdoor), near the action of where the food is prepped. Note; you can eat out side the door entrance, they have a fire pit. Really nice. 2/17/22- Stopped by after work. Ordered spring rolls, lobster bisque and cheese pizza. Don't recommend the rolls (oily and not very tasty) Pizza was good. However, the Lobster Bisque was really tasty with some nice chunks of lobster in it and the texture was good as well, definitely recommend. Service was really good as well (5th time there). It's a peaceful atmosphere if one just wants to chill, eat and think. I'm still trying different items on the menu. Thanks for reading! 4/30/22. Nice service and the food was really good

The gluten free crust was above average but not the best thing ever. Came on Thanksgiving and the staff was very friendly. Very generous happy hour. More than pizza. The food is good but not blow your socks off. The bar tender is vegan.

My 1st drink was bland, which tasted as a real carbonated water, not a soda, except the 2nd one. And, when I grabbed the first slice of my pizza, many toppings fell miserably, slumped for failing to stick and stabilize. Even though the waitress I had was nice and caring, and that pizza was delicious, it wasn't too bad at all despite the harshness and flaws.

Everything from the kitchen to the staff was fantastic. The wings were plump and juicy..where do the find chicken's that huge...the pizza was amazing with outstanding flavor and quality ingredients..the lettus wraps are better than pf changs. Excellent value and very satisfying. The chicken cesar that went to another table was a sight to behold. Oh yea..I had the tiny *duck tacos too...what a treat! Especially try the Brussel sprouts roasted with cheese nuts and balsamic...ask for extra balsamic too!Try to get lucky in Vegas and ask for Bow!

First time here and I’m sold on their food! Perfectly cooked and tasty! The Brussel Sprouts are extremely delicious with just the right flavor and crunch. Had the Royal Hawaiian pizza with cauliflower crust and their Turkey sandwich which was incredible. Our host and server were beautiful and extremely nice and hospitable. We found a gym in the desert and we intend to try more of Sammy’s fantastic menu! No pictures this time because it was so delicious, it was gone before I though to get the pic.😁

Wonderful menu, excellent flavors and exceptional service! I highly recommend if you are looking for elevated flavors beyond ordinary plates found at other restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful with dietary accommodations and we enjoyed our meal immensely. The cost was a bit more than I anticipated, but don't let that stop you if you have never been here.

I 1st went here with my son because he won a certificate at school. It's been a family favorite ever since. The quality of pizza and the price don't seem to match. I especially love the artisan thin crust. You can order this crust with any of their pizzas. And they have an extensive menu lettand you that includes truffle fries. A must if you visit Sammy's.

The pizza was really good and so was a service. Chicken wings were so so and same with the pot stickers. The hummus and eggplant dips were pretty good too, but not too big of portions. The atmosphere was nice and it was well decorated.

We met friends for lunch, ate outside such a beautiful day. Service was excellent salads, pizza etc. Pizza was as good as always. We love that very thin crust. The large shrimp salad was a disappointment. Seemed like the lettuce was old and with dressing it was soggy. Probably should have sent it back but just don't want to be the difficult table. Not the best experience and will be awhile before we return.

Great service our waitress was fantastic. Attentive and super professional. Had lunch with the family and the food was great! Perfect portion sizes - not too large and not too small. Thai chicken salad is to die for! Pizza was super yummy as always.

It's not the Sammy's we have come to know and love. It is now more obvious why they are closing stores. Many loved items, cracker bread, no longer offered. Sea bass, over cooked (and NO I did not complain...I hate being that guy). Babaganush was not bad, but portion was substantially smaller. Thai Chicken salad was ok. As the stars reflect, it was OK...a 3. But, unfortunately after 20ish years or so enjoying Sammy's, we will be moving on.

This location is on it. They offer an amazing gluten free crust and vegan cheese, and they are quite generous with it. They are also very considerate. When I ordered the royal Hawaiian on a GF crust with vegan cheese and no ham, the hostess informed me that there was cheese in their sauce. We switched out their pizza sauce for marinara and wow was it good.

What a treat! We shared the spinach dip and the wagyu cheeseburger. We didn't eat the bun, but it looked awesome and was a nice firmness. Our waitress, Sam, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We sat outside, where the booths are comfortable and shaded. The tables are too big for the booths, however, so We pushed Ours all the way to one side for comfort. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

This is an amazing place to eat! Everything on their menu is delicious! The Caesar Salad is perfect in my opinion. The chicken tenders with the sweet and spicy sauce was so so so yummy!!! The dessert was so the best part and it's definitely one to share. The plate is covered in melted chocolate and the cup is dipped top to bottom in caramel for you to scrape off. Almonds too if you like them. This is called the "Messy Sunday". This will satisfy any sweet tooth!!

Its a cozy relaxing environment. Great place for lunch or date night. It can get crowded, on the weekends, the wait can be a bit longer. The pizza, is pretty good, as I've had better. However its pretty good. It's off the Strip, so there's less traffic. Great location, it's always been kept clean, every time I've been there. It smells real good in there as well. Drinks are nice and cold. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable, of what's on their menu.

Great food. Had Balsamic Glazed Chicken Salad and tasted the Margarita Pizza as well. Loved of the solid! Full of flavor, had basil oil in it, and it was just delicious and certainly big enough in the individual size. The pizza was good sized and I very much enjoyed the garlic sauce on it and the fresh ingredients of mozzarella, tomato and basil. A large group of us ate outside and it was a little disturbing because people used that door into the restaurant and they walk right through the middle of the good sized party that we had to avoid walking through the tavern / bar / very smokey area.

I orders the salmon on this trip thinking I’d eat healthy; the rest of the meal was pretty good and the others in my party really liked their meals (they didn’t have salmon). My salmon was dry and I’m not the type to have them redo my meal when everyone else already has their meals and is eating. Then I have to watch them eat while waiting for my fresh meal, by the time I get it, they are done and have to watch me eat. No thanks. I just make a note of the place and don’t go back or get something else if I absolutely have to go there again.

Sammy's has great pizza and salads. The large Greek salad was delicious, plenty of tomatoes, cukes, peppers and cheese and a really good dressing. We ordered take out at the bar and our order was ready really quickly. We've been going here for years and will continue to.

Hadn't been here in a while. They have added some new items to the menu which all sounded good. I tried the shrimp tacos and loved them! My friend had the Chinese Chicken Salad and enjoyed it as well. The most impressive thing was the service! I was honestly blown away by the attentiveness of our server, Mojca! She was on top of her game, very fast, friendly and efficient. I haven't received service this good without going to a fine dining restaurant in a long time. Definitely will be back to try some of the other new menu items.

My boyfriend and I cruising down Sahara Blvd and saw your restaurant, and it looked quaint and inviting from outside. Little did we realize the service by the manager, Ann, and our server Dominic, along with the happy hour menu, and regular menu, was just what the doctor ordered. Forget the strip, it's places like this, that being out of town,and finding places with genuine character is what we live for in Vegas. Again, Ann as a manager working her tail off just like her staff, and Dominic our server, provided some of the best service I've ever experienced in Vegas. WE WILL BE BACK! JENN & JAMAR

As far as airport food goes, Sammy’s is excellent. Salads are huge and fresh. Pizza is wood-fired and tasty. It’s not where you go if you’re in a hurry, but if you have time for a sit-down meal (45 mins), this is sure to please.

Oh it was a very nice place to enjoy a small group fir a birthday. We ordered their specialty which my friend said was good and I did it was the crispy Brussel sprouts with slivers of white cheese and drizzled with a vinaigrette and it was soo good. Pizza was just ok though, but my friend did not order much on the pizza except for pineapple so I can't really say too much on the pizza's. Servers were very attentive to the customers.

We had really excellent service. We were a large group. Food arrived quickly. .Huge portions and great presentation. Meal was well balanced with interesting offerings. We had the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the chicken wraps. Unfortunately the chef was a little heavy handed with the sauces which over powered the dish. The quality of the balsamic vinegar was poor. Every time I'm in Vegas I come here for a meal. Usually get the hummus appetizer and a salad. This time I got the salmon and it was very good. Lots of indoor seating and a good sized patio for Vegas. Decent happy hour specials from 3 to 6pm.

Happened to catch Happy Hour. Half-price selected menu. Got 2 pizzas, meatballs, and a Coke. Quality was phenomenal. Pizza crispy and chewy. Meatballs juicy. Coke cold. Grand total $25. Definitely coming back. I even have ample leftovers for tonight.

We always get the balsamic chicken salad. SO GOOD! One of my go-to salads. The lettuce is always fresh with plenty of chicken, cheese, and walnuts. The dressing is delicious! I'd buy a whole bottle if they sold it (hint hint). The pizza is also super good. Doughy, fresh, tasty. What more could you want?

Wow!! I ordered a delicious gluten free pepperoni and mushroom pizza, as well as the tuscan kale and romaine salad and all of it was SO GOOD! My husband and shared and had PLENTY of food to eat - even leftovers. The quality of the ingredients was on point, and the seasonings were perfection! I want to eat here again and again, trying new things! They are super gluten friendly which makes it so great for us who can't always enjoy food from a pizza place. Thanks, Sammy's!

I am allergic to beef in any form. So I was very nervous about eating pizza here. I talked to the server and she was very sympathetic and said she would ask the cook. This place is awesome. I’ve only been to the bar area, but I’ve been several times. The service is top tier and the food is always amazing. The bartender, Misty, always makes sure your drink is full and you have whatever food you need. The machines pay pretty decently as well, if that’s your thing. Place is clean and comfortable.

Two of the three friends gathering had s birthday to celebrate. We decided to pile up on shareable and Happy Hour dishes rather than a big meal each, as all had diet restrictions, but that allowed us to pick and choose. The final dish was a single (as opposed to two) Messy Sundae at our request, free for birthdays. We were not rushed and spent nearly two hours eating and catching up and groaning as it was all so good. Each of us took home left overs we could not eat (had to leave room for shared sundae). Marco's, our wait person was efficient, attentive on delivering and clearing as we ate our way through our dining choices. The tip reflected our delight in his service. The only not perfect thing was a Map application that took us in a driveway that had a wall between where we were and where we wanted to be. Three ladies, with differing tastes and diet restrictions had a wonderful dinner together, socially distant from others and masks down only when we ate.

Great place to eat and do business! The food is always well prepared. I have a staple, the balsamic grilled chicken salad (I'm not a fan of gorgonzola cheese so I always sub it for mozzarella- yes I'm a little high maintenance). I've also had numerous fish tacos as well as pizzas and angel hair pasta. The staff is always friendly and you rarely finish a drink before it's refilled or replaced. Love Sammy's!!

One of my favorite places to go for lunch but also for late night munchies. Pizzas are good but they have so many other options on the menu to choose from. Duck tacos are hands down my favorite thing on the menu. They have yummy salads and a bunch of other appetizers to choose from. Catch them on their great HH and all apps I believe are half off. Worth checking out

We started with a party of 5 and it grew to 13 people the service was excellent and the food delicious. Ann was our server and she was 10 stars. She seemed serious at first but she was actually VERY FRIENDLY and gave us excellent service. We had about 6 separate checks and she never complained. I love that type of service. Great job. We cane in about 30 minutes apart before our full party and Ann made sure we all enjoyed our meal at the same time. I still don't know how she pulled that off. Great service.

We haven't eaten at a Sammy's for at least 5-6 years because the one that was just down the street from us closed when we lived in Centennial Hills in Las Vegas. So we were delighted to see this one close to where we had been looking at cars and knew where our early dinner was going to be! We were greeted immediately when we entered, and of course seated since 4:00 or so isn't the busiest time of the day. Our waiter came to the table right away and didn't seem "put off" that we only wanted water to drink, which does happen sometimes. Remembering that I loved their lobster bisque, I of course order it, while my husband had their scrumptious Caesar salad, just like years before too (and shared a little bit with me!). We decided to share a woodfired pizza, since I had been craving one for a few weeks after we had them twice on our vacation in CA. Even though we weren't adventurous and just stuck to our pepperoni only one, it was still yummy. The crust was just crisp enough and flavorful, excellent sauce and cheese, and yeah, the pepperoni was not greasy, so no layer of oil was laying on top. Our waiter was great, checking in occasionally and then did chat with us when he had a few minutes since we asked about the closing of the other restaurant. That brought up some other things going on in his life that were similar to one of our children, which he found interesting. So nice to have a personable young man waiting on you and takes a minute to talk to you if there is time. So I can definitely give Sammy's 5 🌟 for everything! From beginning to end we had a wonderful early dinner, and now that we know where you are located, we will return on one of the many trips we make into Vegas.

We visited in between lunch and dinner, so it wasn't that busy. Best part is that we came during happy hour. 50% off tapas and signature drinks. It was such a great deal that we went back today for more. Aside from tapas we all ordered personal pizzas. Brie cheese and truffle oil is my absolute favorite!!! Crisp pastry crust and creamy brie...yummy!!! Sadly, our vacation ends tomorrow and we're heading back home. Good thing there's a Sammy's near us though. Service was amazing. I wish I remembered her name (dark hair and in great shape). Anyway, kudos to her.

A few of my colleagues and I went here for lunch on Friday. There were plenty of people having lunch already but we were seated right away. We all put in our orders and the food came out quickly. I had the chopped chicken salad, I always get it with both the kalamata olives and the sundered tomatoes. I absolutely love this salad. It did not disappoint. We all shared the truffle fries as well and those were fantastic. Great flavor and nice and hot. I highly recommend going here for a nice lunch or dinner.

We were a group of four, and staff was ok. Was nice and fast service, however we had a couple questions and didn't really get any answers. Like what the "reverse happy hour" is that is mentioned on the menu. The wood fire pizza was really good as well as the shrimp angel hair. But it's kind of pricey.

I got a $25 gift card to this place and today decided to use it. Wow. Where do I begin? Food , service , cleanliness of restaurant, all AMAZING . I tried the margarita pizza as well as the " messy Sunday " for dessert. It was all fabulous. Definitely going to return to try other dishes.

We eat here about once a month for the last three years. We consider this our "second kitchen" for evenings when work runs late and we want to just sit and relax. The food changes just enough to keep you coming back, while keeping your favorites so you always have something you like. The wait staff treat us more like family, as they do everyone who stops by. I would suggest getting 2-3 tapas for dinner, the variety is amazing. They have vegetarian,vegan and gluten free choices so everyone gets to eat something tasty and delicious. The chef will go out of their way to make you something special if requested. I'm kind of a picky eater, so I am always asking for a change to the menu, and they always deliver. The bar tender even makes a drink for me that's no longer on the menu! Just ask for "The Purple Martini" and they will probably ask if you know us! If you want to sit down and have the feeling that you are eating at a friends house, who happens to be an excellent chef, then this is your place!

Came here during Yelp Elite week to enjoy a coursed meal. Then, came back again with my husband. We really enjoyed Sammy's pizza and pasta! Tried the margarita pizza and it was delicious. The dough was crispy on the outside yet thick and chewy on the inside. Perfect balance of cheese and sauce. I think what really makes a great pizza is truly the dough! toppings are easy. But the dough, you have to perfect it and Sammy's did a great job! Another item we absolutely loved was their kale salad. It had bits of dried cranberry and other greens in it. So mixed with the dressing and everything else the salad was light yet filling and had a sweet yet creamy taste to it. I highly recommend this salad for lunch. I don't know if it'll hold very well if you get it to go. Service was excellent both times we visited. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Out of all the places I used to work, Sammy's is probably the one I come back to the most. I can't get enough of their amazing duck tacos and the ingredients in the good are always fresh! They sure know how to pack flavor in the salads. For pizza I would have to go the artisan route though, I like I pie thin and crispy! Definitely worth visiting on your lunch hour or after the gym.

Went here for lunch nice and hungry and had a helluva time finding something that looked appealing to eat. I had the Ladou’s BBQ with cauliflower crust. Crust was different, but the pizza was like all chain bbq pizas. Gf had the Tuscan pizza, which was greasy and average tasting. Maybe we had an off day for the food since our friends really like this place. Service was good though.

I used to eat at Sammy's a lot and I always ordered the chopped chicken salad. I had it today for the first time in many years. It wasn't as good. It was a lot smaller, and more expensive. I paid extra to have both calamatas and roasted tomatoes. Very scant on both. There used to be more than just romaine lettuce and tomatoes, but that was it (aside from the smattering of olives and roasted toms). The dressing is still good, and the chicken was grilled well. I ate it all gone, so I wasn't unhappy. It was just a bit of a disappointment.

Misty, the bar 'everything' was very friendly and makes terrific drinks. She greeted customers, placed and served food orders, refilled drinks, bussed the tavern and cashed out checks all with a smile and welcoming attitude. She made our visit a nice time. Three cheers for Misty!! In the middle of the Knight's game, with a nice cheerful group, she made our visit easy. The food, drinks and Tavern group make for a fun night. We will be back.

Visited Sammys for the first time and fell in love! We were a group of 5 celebrating a birthday. The service was excellent. The cuisine was next level. To start we had crab and shrimp dip which was so tasty. Inside there were and and artichokes and actual baby shrimp! We also had the Mediterranean Sampler. I adore babaganoush and it tastes as though they had even roasted the eggplant before purifying it. The toasted sesame seed oil added a whole new level to the dip. For my entree I started with the Lobster Bisque. The Sherry flavor was definitely forward but not overpowering. I really enjoyed the diced shallots that came through and finding the chunks of lobster through out. Then came my Greek salad which I celebrated initially based only on it mammoth size but the details of the salad were beautifully executed. The kalamatas were sliced and the pieces of feta were large and scattered throughout not just sat on top like a decoration. Finally came the dessert! A tall wine glass stuff full of premium vanilla ice cream, smothered in chocolate syrup, scattered with chopped walnuts and a very heavy hand of whipped cream. It was delightful and defying, a paralell enjoyment to eating this dessert is figuring out how the glass doesn't tip. In an effort to continue the amazing experience I ordered two make your own pizzas. All the ingredients were perfectly portioned and ready to compile. The making of my own pizza at home was so much fun and in all honesty was the best pizza I have ever eaten and trust me I have had a lot of pizzas from all across the country. Without a doubt or second thought I will return to Sammy's and I urge anyone reading this to do the same. I guarantee you will not regret it.

Sammy's has excellent little pizzas and I say little because they are small if you're a big guy like me with a big appetite you may consider getting two of them or a side at least. I'd say one of them can feed 2 semi hungry people. I knocked a single star because I had one inconvenient experience as well as not so good calzone. The one time I ordered a calzone for pickup the lady kept asking what "style" I wanted when I asked for a simple cheese calzone. Anyways I picked up and was given with no sauce so before I left I asked for marinara which she said had to be "heated" up so another 10 mins or so holding my calzone getting colder at the pickup counter I got home to taste a pizza like calzone that I guess was just a folded over pizza which I didn't really expect it was not really that bad but not what I wanted. They should consider adding a standard calzone with the right cheeses like mozzarella and ricotta cheeses with the side of marinara sauce by standard. Other than that I wouldn't mind coming back though, they seemed very clean and professional with an awesome little fire pit out front to sit around while its cold out.
