The facility was nice, clean, and has a lot of seating. There was live music during our visit which amplified our experience. The staff was nice. Good service. The food was good, I recommend the garlic shrimp. The portions are large in my opinion. Fresh aguas were good as well. Lots of vendors throughout the restaurant. This place is an authentic Mexican restaurant bar.

The food was very good and so was the atmosphere. The only point I would take off is that the service was slow, we all got our food at different times- some of us were already done eating when the last person got their plate. Just fyi a lot of other tables were like that.

Large place open seating with patio area and bar. Our experience was good service and food was ok but not impressed by it .the fresh oysters were fresh and not in anyway fishy or dry. The actual plate was meat and a little beat of shrimp - that part was disappointing as the chicken was dry and so was the steak - I did not try the shrimp or anything else as there was not enough. The drinks were good, big portions and well mixed. The prices is high for the quality of the food as well as the quantities. It is authentic Mexican Mariscos. It does need maintenance, upkeep, update and most of all a good cleaning. From garbage outside to the whole inside. I will give it this - it does not smell as bad as other seafood restaurants do. They do have open area for spacing and room. I did not see anything about sanitizer or temperature of people- they did require reservations and seat you in groups of 4. Make sure it’s the correct place as there are Islas #1

I love sea food..but this place didnt meet my Expectations. My kids hamburger was raw..my husbands food had more vegtables than sea food. Everything was overpriced. A can of soda 4 dollars. One beer $8. The service was fast ..efficient..and polite. Live music..ok. but very sad. Sorry but if these people want to charge $140 for two cheese burgers, one guacamole and one small sea food dish i need beter quality. Its your choice.

Went there for Father's Day and 1st time there. The resturant was busy but seated us right away. They had a mariachi playing and guys selling souvenirs, real traditional. Food was good. Only compliant is the waitress took really long to take our order, I waited about 20 mins before I told a waitress that wasn't our waitress that we were ready to order. Also, it took us about another hour to get our food. Parties that were larger than ours and who got there after us got there food 1st. A waitress came to clean up our table and told us If we needed boxes and I told her we haven't even got our food yet.i honestly think they forgot about out table. Food is good, but customer service is bad.

Las Islitas is a great restaurant if you want good seafood, beer and some live music. It's super loud in the restaurant since there is multiple bands playing. It's very crowded, expect to wait 30 minutes minimum. Four stars since the host was rude. The servers do their best given the circumstances of the large number of people they are serving

This was an amazing experience . The original Mexican food had a unique taste . Lots of seafood dishes to choose from . Fish tacos, fish tostadas, fish ceviche shrimp ceviche. The Micheladas were amazing at least twenty oz of beer which includes Clamato juice, shrimp juice and Tajin. The band would play request at your table. Then it came time for desert . The flan was so tasty . If you like seafood give Las Islitas a bite.

Expected more from this location, service was not what I enjoyed. We were a party of 14 and one by one everyone got their plate. My husband who paid $over $400 was served last when most were done. Everyone kept asking for stuff should have more than one server attending us. Food appearance was just ok and taste not much to brag. Would not try ever again.

The music is good but a little too loud you aren't able to have a conversation while eating. When we went there to have a meal with friends on our vacation the food wasn't taken to the table all at once and it took very long, the service was not good. Prices are high and some food lacks a little flavor.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was great and service was excellent. I guess my only complaint was all the mariachi bands that kept playing while were ate. It was like battle of the band's. Once one stopped, another would start. Was with family from out of town and it made it impossible to have a conversation with anyone. Plus they kept getting in the way of serving staff and patrons. All in all, I would recommend. Bring ear plugs.

Mariscos are really good here, but that's about it. It's very over priced in my opinion. I had the worst carne asada quesadilla here. The cheese wasn't the good kind, and the meat was dry and tough. Shame on me for expecting it to be a good quesadilla when the place is known for the seafood. The empanadas were noteworthy, as were the oysters, but if I'm ever in town again.... I'll likely not visit here again.

Like the live music food is 7 outta 10 over prices for the bucket of beer there were 40$ for 6 we ended up spending more on beer then food it's was like 700$ for our visit because they had live music was playing some good corridos muisc I'll go agine tho

Stopped by to try it after my friend recommended it to me. I was disappointed with the food. My shrimp ceviche was tasteless as well as my shrimp cocktail. My wife's "agua de jamaica" was really deluded. She ended up ordering a soda instead. The atmosphere was great. Plenty of beer buckets at most of the tables, loud music and people just enjoying the weekend ... I am willing to try it once again to see if it was a coincidence my food lacked flavor.

This place is not as good as it use to be. The shrimp intestine is left in also noticed that it is not very clean either, I had found lots of hair in my plates before, didn't write about that because they didn't charge me for those plates when I complaint, but still. They'recuality is not the same. Customer service is still good 👍. Other then that if they improve I would come back with my family.

It's tradition that we go to this place to eat every Vegas trip (the last 10 yrs or so). I must say this last time we got the worst visit ever. They are following protocols so the following is understandable, yet redundant. They allow only 4 ppl per table however we are a family of 6 with 4 kiddos ranging 1-9. You'd figure sitting your party together makes more sense as we are touching one table vs two. Due to that we had to separate our family. To add our waiter visited our table to take our order, deliver the drinks/food and after chatting it up with half the restaurant and half of the kitchen staff brought over our bill. You'd figure service would be enhanced due to an hour and a half wait time (which I agreed to) and sitting your kids a table away. Anywho very disappointed.

Good food. Authentic Mexican Decor. The area is not the best but there is ample parking (that is visible from the restaurant). Prices were reasonable for high quality food. The horchata was really good. Service was prompt and friendly. I will be back for sure.

Although it was packed, my group was seated quickly and the food arrived in a timely manner. The reason for three stars is because the food was not the best. It was okay but not great. If you like shrimp tacos or shrimp empanadas, I would not recommend ordering that here. The “shrimp” looked like crab and when we addressed it to the waiter, he was rude about it. The seating arrangements are a little uncomfortable as well. Again, the food is okay but there can be improvements.

This is the place to go if you love sea food! I love the decor. It's atmosphere is like a celebration in Mexico, with live music. They don't have a children's menu, or many dessert choices.

So the food here is fantastic and even the atmosphere with live mariachi is terrific but service is pretty slow given the volume and there are a lot of buskers cruising the restaurant trying to make a buck selling flowers, photos, candy bars and all sorts of other wares. It was the closest to being off-resort in Mexico that I've experienced since my last trip to Mexico. Get the ceviche though, it'll change your life.

I like the food it's very good. Not a big fan of how loud and busy it gets. Usually takes more than 1 hour to get our food. Sometimes we have to wait over 1 hour to get seated. Price wise is very expensive compared to other marisco places near by.

Smallest Denny's I've ever been, definitely not a place for large groups. Because they're a small location there was only one waitress. Over we had a good experience except for the fact the barely put any food on one of our plates. One of the plates we ordered came with a side of zucchini squash, we are familiar with this menu option as we order often at other locations. When the plate came there was litterally only 4 pieces of zucchini, instead of the cup size serving it should be, when we said something they fixed it immediately.

I was pleased with my meal from Las Islitas. Bacon wrapped shrimp cooked with peppers and cheese accompanied by pretty good rice and beans. The salsa however, is a tragedy. I know seafood is the focus but why not have even mediocre salsa? There should also be a disclaimer, Beware of Loud Music! I would go back.

Really good food and drinks, it was a little busy when I walked in but no wait time and food didnt take long to recieve. Food is taste like authentic mexican food, and they had a live mariachi playing which was cool! Only real downside is that it's a little pricey for the portion of food you get and the band can get a little too loud to have a conversation with someone overall a good experience and good atmosphere

What can I say about this place? It's honestly just a very great restaurant. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is one of which I cannot explain. The Mariachi just adds to the mood. I have so many great memories here.

Service was great, no complaints on that. Atmosphere was a bit crowded, musicians were good but the food was horrible. Bland flavors and it was not fresh at all and the price well it's what you expect from a restaurant that caters to people wanting great Mexican style seafood but come out shortchanged. So the 3 stars are for the service, I just didn't want to give 5 stars to confuse anyone.

Great food!! I always order the (pineapple fish) can't remember the real name? But it's so damn good!! My husband always orders the ceviche.. Etc.. The portions are huge!! Yes, it's pricey but worth it. The mango mechalada is amazing!! My husbands food usually comes before mine so I'm sitting there watching him eat, maybe it takes longer to cook the fish plate?! Idk? The only thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is that they have ppl coming to your table selling roses, jewelry and movies?! Other then that it's really good!!

A great spot for seafood, drinks and good vibes. Make a reservation to save time(we didn’t and waited an hour) this place isn’t in the best neighborhood. This trip we had the ceviche casero con aguacate and the camarones patron. The portions are shareable so watch what you order. There was live music which can get pretty loud but it’s was fitting for the spot.

“Great Food and Service” Some of the best food I have had in a long time. We got the meatballs for an appetizer then split the tomahawk steak and lamb. The portions are big so you can split two meals down the middle and still get full. Our waiter John adviced us against ordering more because he knew the portion sizes lol. Speaking of..

To start off, if you're not Hispanic, you will not understand why the service is so different here. This place is much to busy for a greet of each customer.having said that our service was a little slow but to be fair we were waiting for a final member of our party to show up. The food was absolutely fantastic. I dont remember what it was called but we bought a plate of 2 different types of ceviche, 1 part aguachiles and shrimp. The aguachiles was the best. We also order a molcajete which had a assortment of cooked meats. Additionally we tried their michelada and I ordered a mango michelada. The mango michelada turned out to be the favored drink of the table. I would recommend this place, however be warned that parking may be difficult and the wait for a table may go up to 45 mins and up to an hour or so for large parties.

Mostly all seafood. There are a very limited amount if items on the menu that are not seafood. So not a good place for your Mexican restaurant type dinning. They do not refill drinks. All sodas are canned. No ice tea. Extensive alcohol menu though. Very load inside as the have 2 groups live music competing for tips.

Definitely go here if youre in vegas and want seafood. Just not if you're hungover on any level. We went on a Sunday, I was dying and the band was super loud. I hated life buuuut the food was really good. Keep in mind it is kinda pricey. We got 3 beers, a caldo de Cameron, something about a cucaracha and oysters. It was about 115. Not too much but, ya know. Either way. Good food. *maybe because we were in the back, but the service wasnt the best.

I live in the Southwest near Southpoint and make the awful commute on the 15th through the spaghetti bowl and the project neon Construction to Las islitas! Why? Because it's that damn good! In L.A when I lived there the closest thing we had to this was Siete Mares. The shrimp empanadas and fresh guacamole are worth it alone. The ceviche is really fresh and full of flavor as is all their seafood items. The atmosphere is very loud and boisterous with live bands every night and plenty of TVs to watch sports. World Cup is on now and I can't imagine a better place to watch Mexico play.
