Reviews of Esther's Kitchen

The food is beautiful here, and it tastes amazing too. Our server was prompt and gave thoughtful suggestions and accommodated allergies. There was a man in charge who came to make sure the meal was to our expectations who was intuitive and extremely kind. We ordered some breakfast sausage for our youngest (it’s her favorite food right now) and it had some heat to it- he noticed and made sure that we got a replacement and followed up with that as well without being intrusive to our meal with friends and with great sincerity. I’ve been to a lot of incredible eating experiences, it’s rare to find a place where the people who work there are as great as the food

By far the best meal we had in Las Vegas! We couldn’t get a reservation so we showed up when they opened at 5 and sat at the bar. Aaron our server was AWESOME!!! He guided us on what to choose for our meal and everything he suggested was amazing. The sourdough bread is a MUST!! I’ve never had anything like it. The pasta dish we ordered was spicy and fantastic we couldn’t get enough of it but we were glad we ordered one because the bread was filling.

The food was fantastic! The bartender was super sweet and made us an off menu cocktail. We ordered the basil butter spread, the charcuterie board, and the rigatoni pasta. The restaurant is a little small, so make a reservation ahead of time to guarantee yourself a table. There's 2 gender neutral restrooms, which were exceptionally clean. I would def dine here again.

Our server was amazing! Great break down of the menu before we chose our appetizers and entrees. I highly recommend the bread with all the difference cheese sides. The bread and cheese were the best parts of the meal. Our two entrees were good, but not as good as the appetizers. Unfortunately, the truffle pasta did not have any truffle flavor. The lobster was cooked to perfection. For the tagliatelle unfortunately the pasta was a little over cooked.
Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely return. I would try some other entrees though. Don't pass up on the fresh bread and cheese sides, they are AMAZING!

Chef’s kiss with a 10/10 recommend! Esther’s Kitchen was such an incredible dining experience. The food, environment, and staff were all absolutely incredible. The house made sourdough bread and pasta paired with a robust selection of wine leaves any customer satisfied! While located a bit off the strip, consider making your way out for a meal, you will not be disappointed.

In a spur of the moment move, we chose Esther's Kitchen without a reservation and luckily got a seat at the bar with an under 1 hour wait. This place is hopping and a reservation is almost a must, but it was more than worth the wait. I'm so glad we got in because this was one of the two best meals we've had in Vegas. The other also being away from the strip.
Tucker, the bar manager/cocktail aficionado/waiter/food guide was an absolute gem, making the experience that much better. We had a blast. The cocktails were well balanced and flavorful, the bread is insanely good. The various bread service options that we chose were all delicious. The duck crespelle was a great choice, while the nectarine+speck pizza was such a great recommendation. The flavor combo was brilliant. We also loved the Malfadine Nero, being the best pasta dish we've ever had. Exquisite. We loved our entire meal and ambience of the place.

Such a wonderful dining experience! Service was amazing, starting from the host stand to the bartender and wait staff. Every dish was above satisfaction and the housemade advertsiement really lived up to its words with every bite. We have tried to dine here many times without reservations with never any luck, until now. Finding a place spontaneously is our thing and how excited we were to finally get into Esther’s Kitchen. The entire experience surpassed our expectations and we can’t wait to dine here again and again.

Food was amazing, staff even more so!
The quality and presentation of the food was awesome. They had handmade tableware all the way down to the water jug. Speaking of water, my glass never got more than half empty, which in the Vegas heat is greatly appreciated.
I got the lamb pasta dish which once mixed together was great! I normally don't like lamb but I took the risk, so if you enjoy lamb you will absolutely love it.
My wife got the little pasta balls stuff with ricotta cheese and it was amazing as well!
When we asked about other restaurants, multiple of the staff was even kind enough to come by our table and tell us other restaurants in the art district that they enjoy.
I would gladly go back!
Flora Ness
Great recommendation from a local friend! Their warm sourdough bread is a wonderful delight!
It's basic but their pasta and pizza were recommended by the server (over the risotto and branzino) and they did not disappoint!
The arts area is renovated and adorable! Save some time to explore. We'll recommend this place to our friends and will be back again for sure!!

Every single bite was delicious. Bread is crusty and light in the middle. Burrata bread topping was perfectly creamy and flavorful. Pasta flavors were bold and warm. Salads are flavorful, and if you haven’t had a pickled raisin, your life isn’t complete! Portion sizes are generous but not overkill. Just a great quant place. Staff very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

Esther's kitchen was by far the best brunch I've had in Las Vegas to date. I frequent Las Vegas a ton and finally ventured over here after many many recommendations. Well I was not disappointed. The only thing I wish I could have done was eat here for dinner one night, in addition to the brunch. My son had the proper breakfast (and admittedly I was jealous), my wife had the Benedict which I tasted and it was amazing, and I had the rolled Pizza (good grief so good). All pictures attached!! Don't miss this place, and a bonus is you get to walk through the vintage clothing stores and antiques in the arts district!

Over Labor Day weekend, we visited Esther's Kitchen and had a fantastic time! The food and wine was top notch. Our server, Christian, was phenomenal-- friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The vibe is both hip, chill, and elegant. Be sure to by the kitchen a round, their cheerful expression of gratitude is super fun to hear! Next time we're in Vegas, we'll be back! Cheers!

As a food & beverage analyst for over a decade, and a former pastry chef, I can say that Esther's Kitchen is top notch in every way. Our service was impeccable, with our waiter being extremely knowledgeable about both the food and the wine menus. Our meal was cooked to perfection. The highlight for me was the seasonal Butternut Squash Tortellini that expertly balanced the light flavor of the squash with the browned butter, and the hint of cinnamon. The house made pasta was cooked perfectly. You will most certainly not regret a meal spent here!

Most of main components(noodle, dough, condiments, etc,.)were made fresh, made from scratch. I love the way Esther cooks Italian cuisine.
They know how to knead dough! Chef’s modern touch and reinterpretation of Italian cusine make this restaurant even more special!!! Strongly recommended!!! If you are a big fan of Italian foods.

I've been here twice in a week! Let's just say that the food is exceptionally tasty! You can't just order one thing, you have to order their dishes buffet style to gain the full food experience!
We were seated promptly upon arrival. Please make reservations FYI .
Literally, everything was amazing! We especially loved the chicken dinner, I know it's just chicken, but it was REALLY DELICIOUS!!! Just take my word for it, coming from a foodie 🙃
It was pan seared, and very JUICY!!
For brunch our favorite were those dam pancakes!!
Like I said, we ordered a bunch of food. Buffet style, U took pictures of everything. Literally, you can't go wrong with any of your choices!
This restaurant, has become my to-go-to brunch , and chill dinner /lunch spot!
As always, I'll be back! In my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice 😌

Went here for my wife and I's anniversary. Food is really good. Drinks are really good. Service was excellent.
My favorite thing was the beef carpaccio.
I personally am not much of a bread person, and I usually dislike sourdough, but the spreads and bread were really good.
The seasonal goat entree peaked my curiosity. It was incredibly good. I had no idea what to expect from it when I ordered it. Sort of reminded me of a much better, fancier version of those KFC Bowls. Lol.
The desserts were also tasty. Got a butterscotch pudding and my wife got the chocolate and cherry crepe cake.
Highly recommend.

Esther's is phenomenal. The sourdough and spreads were a great way to kick off our meal. We also enjoyed the fried cauliflower salad, aged New York strip (OMG that was delish) and the Gnudi. Everything was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The only downside was sitting in one of the strange courtyard tents... it was too cold for that, but honestly, the food was so great we didn't care! Drinks are beautiful and delicious. DO make a reservation or prepare for a long wait. It's worth it though, we will be back!

A VIBE. Wow the food was incredible! The ambience was nice. Wish the seating wasn’t so close together. Overall good experience though. The staff presents themselves nicely and they are all very professional. The bread was addicting and the food was so fresh and flavorful, will definitely be returning.
Marie Thoris
Always a great experience at Esters Kitchen. Reservations recommended. Note, the brunch does not have the usual spread options for the sourdough bread. House made orange juice is delicious!
Jason Garner
Everything was okay here, but that's it. It was okay. No complaints, but I was expecting to be a bit more wowed. The menu is always changing because the ingredients are sourced from farms, so the quality is definitely there. I just felt like it wasn't as good as it could be. Maybe I'm holding them at too high a standard, but if you're serving farm fresh food at those prices, I expect more.
Dean J
First of all, their homemade sourdough is super awesome when eating it with different types of spread they have. Pasta and salad taste good as well. 👍
FYI, you guys need to make a reservation in advance. :)
Damir Tadić
Super fun place with delicious food. Menu is mainly based on Italian food and there’s different list for brunch, lunch and dinner. Steak🥩 was fantastic, sides also. Esther’s charcuterie board is a must. Try to reserve your table before coming here.
Ralph Rosenberger Jr
Make a reservation, call an Uber, leave the strip! You will not be disappointed! This restaurant is a gem in Las Vegas. Actually went for bunch and it was incredible. Everything you would expect from a top joint in your hometown! Fresh from scratch food, great atmosphere, amazing staff! Probably the best carbonara I've ever had.

If I could give Esther’s 100/10, I would. The first time I ate here was a few years ago in a trip and I loved it so much. Since then, I’ve been to Italy, I’ve eaten pasta around the world and people laugh when I tell them the best pasta is at this little spot called Esther’s in Las Vegas. Found myself with another free evening in Vegas on a work trip and made it a point to go to Esther’s. This place is incredible - highly, highly recommend. *chefs kiss*

We visited this restaurant because of the high google rating and a quick view of the brunch menu. It did not disappoint. I had the Apple Spice Pancakes. They were beautifully presented and tasted great. My wife had the Truffle Polenta. It was excellent. The other menus look great as well. I think I could have ate here multiple times and been satisfied.

Supreme! Fabulous! Wonderful! Delicious! Great service! Great spot for large parties! We reserved 5 weeks in advance. Served family style! So much food! We were 11 but could have ordered for 8/9. Every couse was a highlight. They were sensitive to our vegan gluten free member. Beautifully done ✔ for our mom's milestone birthday 🎂

We decided to have lunch here because of the great reviews. The food lived up to the expectations! The staff was very considerate, warm and super friendly. We had ordered sourdough with Cambozla (walnuts had quite the crisp and crunch), for starter - the cauliflower allá romana (highly recommend, the cauliflower was not oily at all even though it was fried, it was light but very well spiced) and housemade pasta radiatore(pasta was cooked very well). The food was exquisite and made with a lot of care and love. It all tasted super yum and the whole experience was very pleasant! Highly recommend

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a while. Stumbled upon this while searching for a uniquely local restaurant on my last night in town, and I'm so elated that I discovered this gem. I had their housemade sourdough bread partnered with foie gras and butter(Fegatini) that was such a perfect starter. Then had the Mafaldine Nero for my main dish which was squid ink pasta with lobster, truffle butter and lemon. And finally ended with their scrumptious Chocolate Crêpe Cake, that's both delicate and rich. For drinks, you HAVE to try their seasonal cocktails. I had the "Serenitea": gin, chamomile, honey, lemon, elderflower. Hits all the right spots on my flavour palate.
Overall, delectable food and cocktails, friendly, professional, and attentive staff, relaxed and trendy ambiance. This has become my new favourite spot in town. I ate at the bar with my friend and had an absolutely amazing dining experience with the bartender, Chris. Will definitely be dining here every time I visit Vegas. I have to come back to try their brunch!

Some of the best bread and butter I have had in a restaurant. The rigatoni pasta was perfect as well. My Italian coworkers recommend this place and I wholeheartedly agree with their opinion that this is one of the best and authentic Italian restaurants in Vegas.

I went here fro Easter brunch. This place is amazing. The food is spectacular! It was great watching the people in the kitchen cooking and they had smiles on their faces. The staff was attentive and very helpful seeing that this was my 1st time there. I highly recommend Esther's Kitchen and can't wait to go there for dinner.

First off, very nice atmosphere. The staff were extremely polite and nice and it really help add to the experience. Our waiter was extremely helpful and helped us with the menu and which items to try. I went with the rigatoni carbonara with a side of meatball while my partner went with lamb tagliatelle. Both dishes were very delicious. We also got a side of their housemade sourdough bread with basil ricotta spread. As an appetizer we got cauliflower alla romana. Everything was extremely delicious. I was pretty full off of the bread alone, so we actually had quite a lot of leftover pasta to bring home. It was just as delicious when reheated the next day. Will definitely be back the next time I’m craving Italian food.

Esther's has deghtful and original takes on timeless Italian dishes. Already famous for their bread, try their compound butters. Blue cheese was my favorite.
Their housemade pastas were chewy and scrumptious. I had the rigatoni with a riff on carbonara.
Take a friend, settle in, try lots of dishes. You'll love it.

What a great find in Vegas! Simple yet very well executed Italian food:
1. Charcuterie board - Every component was top notch, and it's the little additions that made it special: foie mouse instead of pate, salami in the form of a spread, the slight drizzle of pesto on the ham and so on
2. Radiatore - Who would have thought the combination of black garlic, lemon, cream and chives would be so gooood. Haven't had this dish anywhere else
3. Bucatini - Your usual tomato sauce pasta but on steroids. And the pieces of guanciale were like golden nuggets to find
4. Lamb Pizza - Probably the least impressive of our 4 dishes but still very solid!
This was clearly too much for 3 pax. Can't wait to go back to try more pastas and their starters (cauliflower, arancini etc)

This place has fantastic food & an excellent bar! We sat at the bar & I saw the bartender hand-make all of the drinks! I got the Margherita pizza & it was fantastic! My boyfriend got the chicken parm panini. The chips are home made as well! Excellent portions! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the prices are high for the Art District. The price is well worth the quality, but they weren't serving breakfast after 11am. And they sat us at the bar because we didn't have a reservation at 12noon on a Friday. There was not a line waiting. I would highly recommend, just not sure if I would frequent. The outdoor patio area was nice too. Very little street parking though.
Kathleen Anderson
This was the best meal we had in Las Vegas. Their pasta is house made and to die for! We had pasta at Brera in the Venetian and they have nothing on Esther. The menu is reasonably priced, all the food is phenomenal, and the service was excellent. Do yourself the favor. Get off the strip, go to the arts district and pay them a visit. Oh, and don't skip the bread and spreads.
Alex Barone
Walked in here on a whim and it was good timing - right before a rush. I enjoyed a seat at the bar with an incredible smoky cocktail made with care, delicious bread with all the dips, and the best carbonara. The atmosphere, food, and service were delightful.
Lisette Lomba
Chris was wonderful! You would have never thought he was in training. We had the lamb pizza and it was delicious! We also had the porchetta sandwich and it was soooo good! It’s definitely worth going back to try as many things you can on the menu because you can tell they care about all of the ingredients they use. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and great service!
Marcella E.
Seems like a local gem off the strip in the arts district. Service was impeccable, and the overall atmosphere is very laid back hippy. Food is excellent.
We ordered the homemade sourdough bread and three dipping sauces to share as an appetizer. Then ordered the cacio e pepe (not on the menu, but they can make it) and one of the traditional roman pastas. Also enjoyed the budino for dessert! Excellent dining experience overall.
One fun thing you can do is pay $6 to buy the cooks a round of beer. We decided to do it. They made an announcement and the cooks yelled ‘thank you!’ It’s a fun place.

Visiting from TX, Tucker is the best! Great food, superior service, very nice selection that the bar. Thanks Tucker for an awesome experience. Fresh pasta, bread is perfect with the various butters.

Such a great date!!! Fancy sour dough bread with cultured butter was divine! Our meal was fancy and flavorful! Our waiter, Dante, was so personable and gave us a great experience.
fjmcpa
Outstanding cocktails, meal, ambiance and service. Simply the best. Everything is fresh: sourdough bread, pasta, and sides. Craft cocktails are on point too. Locals love it: you should too!
Maggie Ursua
Andreya was my server and she may have been the best waitress I've ever had. She was so kind and friendly. I WILL be bringing my entire family and recommending to anyone I know in Las Vegas
Craig Prater
Came here for dinner. Had a reservation, and when we got there, no tables were ready. That's why this isn't 5 stats. Made a reservation, they called me move it UP, then we get there and have to wait. Made zero sense. On to drinks, we had the cool runnings and the Devil's in the Details. Both were really good. Had the arancini to start, which was good, but could've been cheesier. For entrees, I had the rigatoni, which was phenomenal. My wife had the bucatini, which had a little spice & great flavor. We had the bread trio, which had some tasty, interesting spreads. Our server was great & knew the menu to a T. Place is cozy & intimate, but parking isn't good. Catch a ride there.
Juliane Ross
Best meal of our trip. Fun atmosphere and great expert service. The food was fantastic. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the bread toppings were incredible.
Boyice Williams
The Nutella-Orange French Toast was fabulous. The Cheesy Eggs were light, fluffy and delicious! Great staff and service A must go if you are in the area.
Anthony D'Elia
Fantastic Italian meal. By far the spaghetti pomodoro was the best. Service was great they did a great job at coursing out the meal. Margarita pizza was on point as well.
Michelle Rivera
The food was some of the best I have ever had, the service was beyond explanation, so warm and friendly. They so obviously just wanted their guests to have a fabulous time it was beyond words. We were there on a foodie tour (so what we got was tapas style)
Christopher Buzby
The food is absolutely amazing and the people are exceptional. I went for lunch and enjoyed both the sourdough with the beet spread as well as the fresh caprese salad. Thank you to Liz for being a friendly bartender that made me feel very much at home while dining alone at the bar! Cheers!
Rosalie Regalado
We loved this food. ❤️ we had the gem smoked trout toast. A delightful combination of toast topped with freshly made crema smoked trout, and trout caviar, sprinkled with fresh dill and thyme. The gem caesar salad had the best authentic creamy caesars dressing with anchovies from Spain and a couple of homemade croutons. Followed by the spaghetti Pomodoro. Homemade noodles and authentic Italian sauce. 3 tender meatballs made with beef, por, and breadcrumbs that are marinated in pomodoro sauce before they're cooked. The smoked trout toast was paired with a blackberry mimosa. And the r was paired with prosecco. The service was on point. Excellent food.
Trent Rodriguez
This place is just stupid good. Absolutle loved everything we ordered. Super creative. Some of the best service I've had in vegas. Nothing too upscale and stiff. Just friendly, honest, and fun.
Hector Arias (Flair Bartender)
First at all, i recommend to make a reservation. The place is fairly busy and it is a sunday night.
So using the website it is super easy to navigate and reserve, and is a huge time saver.
As soon you ar acomodated, the entire staff is aupwr welcoming and I felt that I landed a great spot to eat.
Beyond a nice selecrion of seasonal cocktails, the wines are well adjusted to have a little but of everything, and the food menu have a great amount of options.
Our server gave us a great introduction to the menu, because it is seasonal, we had a lot of questions.
Evertyhing on the menu is super tempting, and there is no bad choices because evwrything is pretty unique. I enjoy every bite of the experience here.
BTW, do not forget about the kitchen staff!!!!, they have an option to buy them a round of beers that I couldn't say no to it, you have to come amd experience it to understand it.
The entire team made an amazing dinning experience and I am totally coming back!
Alexandra Schülke
Vibrant local community restaurant. Excellent food, good ambiance and service. A good way to discover the Las Vegas Arts District. We will go back for our next trip to LV. Seasonal changing menue.
Glenn Rossney
Food was amazing. We got one chicken dish that was slightly under cooked. I pointed it out as to why we were not taking the left over home and they removed it from our check and bought us dessert. All of which was totally unnecessary as it was a small portion and we were not unhappy at all.
The dessert was delicious!
Shawna Collette
By reservations only for all meal times. Closed from 3-5 to prepare for dinner service. The food is outstanding, fresh and has an Italian flare. Warm inviting casual environment in the art district. The aesthetic is so pleasing from the decor to the food presentation.
Mike Miller
Possibly the best meal I’ve had in Vegas. Definitely in the top 5 ever. Great staff and kitchen communications and coordination, and truly amazing sour dough.
Marshall Bain
Incredible house made pastas with creative sauces and phenomenal servers that thoroughly explain all the nuances of the menu. It is open during the nearby road construction, just a little difficult to find. Look for the wall murals. The Art District is an up and coming area of Las Vegas
Alyson Vogel
If you are in Vegas, please eat here. My boyfriend and I wanted to go somewhere off the strip while we were vacationing and found this place on TikTok off all places. We saw almost nothing but good reviews and decided to make a reservation. The atmosphere is phenomenal. If you want to sit outdoors, they have a heated patio AND private little tents that were super cute. We sat inside and started with the sourdough bread (which we saw was highly recommended) and the meatballs. Both amazing. My boyfriend had the pizza and I had the pasta al zucca. Both 10/10 and still tasted amazing the next day lol. We finished off the the kumquat dessert which, surprise surprise, was 10/10. Christian was our server and is GREAT at his job. Had recommendations for everything and did not miss. I will be begging for them to franchise into Richmond Virginia.
Ellis Lee
So delicious! Everything is hot and fresh. A vegas must go. Every single dish is thought through to give you a flavor explosion of an experience.
MrsOlatubi
Food was excellent. Everything is made fresh and the food is cooked to order. If you're patient with the kitchen, you'll receive mouthfuls of amazing flavors. We ordered Margherita Pizza, Meatball Sub, Chicken Parma sandwich, and pancakes topped with a Caramelized banana and scattered Pecans. The pancakes were sweet enough without the syrup. This place is concious of service and the quality of their food.
Mauricio Romy
A great place for amazing cocktails and delicious food. Thank you Jessica for the great service. Will definitely come every time I visit Vegas. Can’t wait for the new location to open.
Wesley Arnold
Incredible experience. The staff and service were top notch. The prosciutto & fontina biscuits were to die for & the proper breakfast was perfect. We will absolutely be back for dinner next time we are back in Vegas.
Emily Boudreaux
Presentation of the food is good and the decor had a nice touch but the taste itself was meh. It was almost like I made it at home. So definitely disappointed after all the reviews
Alvaro Veloso Cabral
Cute and modern restaurant that always seems to be busy, so make a reservation. My party of 2 went for lunch on a Friday and started with their staple, an incredible homemade sourdough bread, it comes with as many spreads as you choose (we selected 3, all to die for: basil ricotta (the best), burrata, and anchovy butter) - do order their bread & spreads and thank me later! We got a little full from the bread and decided to share a pasta: the tagliatelle with lamb ragu, chili, mint and pine nuts. - delicious. The cocktails are great and the wine by the glass selection is very interesting (some whites from Alto Adige, a delicious red from Liguria which I had never seen before). Food, drinks and wine change seasonally, make sure to check their menu online. Amazing experience from start to finish!
Shlomi B
Shame on me I didn't take more photos. I went twice in one week (visiting from the east coast), I got the chicken and the polenta, both were great. The highlight was the cauliflower, but mainly its dipping sauce in the picture, it's amazing! someone tell me how to make it!! second time I got pasta and meat balls, a bit salty for me. Obviously I got the cauliflower.again... The old fashioned was good too.
I have to go back.

I'll be honest...eat at this restaurant at the recommendation of a friend who had eaten here in December. I wasn't expecting this caliber of meal just south of the tourist area in Las Vegas. Shame on me. We made reservations for 5pm, when the restaurant opens, and at 4:45, there was already a line outside.
I started with the Caminante cocktail, which was delicious, and the table ordered the Burrata. It was served differently than I've had in other restaurants, and honestly, I prefer how Esther's served it...much better for sharing among the table.
For my dinner, I ordered the Mushroom Risotto (mushroom puree + garlic chives + crispy mushroom chips). I absolutely love risotto, and this now ranks among some of the most delicious risotto I've ever had, made even better by the crispy mushroom chips. It was so good I wouldn't even share it with friends.
There were 3 of us at dinner, so we each ordered a dessert to share among all 3: the butterscotch budino, pine nut tart, chocolate crepe cake. Personally, my favorite was the butterscotch budino followed by the chocolate crepe.
If I ever go back to Las Vegas, I'll go back to Esther's, but until I do, I'll highly recommend it to others.
Suraj Venkat
Perfect spot in downtown Las Vegas to get food! Their sourdough bread with things (different types of butters and cheeses) is a must try. I got their Mushroom Risotto and Ricotta Gnudi and was delighted by the taste. They have a wide collection of wines and local brews which are a must-try. Their butterscotch budino is out of this world and is one of the best desserts that you could get in Las Vegas!
Daniel Kim
Hands down this was the best dinner Ive had in Vegas. 12/10 I’ll be coming here everytime im in Vegas. Heck I might even fly out here just for the food and some poker
Bryan Magyar
Mixology on point, great vibe, the food was well above anything expected, locally sourced ingredients and wonderful staff. Homemade pasta, pizza, and bread was amazing.
alan stanly
Excellent flavors. Perfectly cooked food. Amazing sourdough. A real chef runs the place and it shows. Creative seasonal entres and starters. Knowledgeable and polite staff. If you want to have a conversation be prepared to shout - the place is LOUD. Really nice aesthetic to the room. Even the bathroom is well decorated and themed. Cool bar with creative cocktails. Nice rear patio which is a bit quieter and dog friendly. Plenty of vegan selections. Parking is in the back. The area is rather sketchy (arts district) so definitely park in back vs. on the street after dark. Everything we ordered was tasty and unique.

Insanely flavorful and well presented New Italian cuisine. The pork belly dish was got stares and questions from the people sitting next to us! (Vegan) beet risotto was spectacular. The spaghetti and meatballs were great. All pasta and bread is house made daily. Their signature sourdough loads and cultured butter are killer. Tasty chocolate crepe cake. Oh and great beer 😁
Overall one of the best meals I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to return
Brandon Meador
What an amazing experience my wife and I loved it. We tried several of the cocktails and they were all delicious and fun. We cannot wait to go back.

Just go, but make a reservation for lunch or dinner. This place is packed for a reason. Got "All the things" with bread and its amazing. Pasta is second to none and the sauces are made from Unicorn laughter. The Walken is decorated appropriately. Seasonal menu, we are making this a regular spot.
Danny and Cris Travel
Absolutely incredible. The best food we've ever had in the USA.
We had the spaghetti with a side of meatballs and one of the pizzas (which outside of Italy was one of the best pizza's we've ever had).
Our waiter was amazing and kept topping up our glasses with water without having to ask. All of the staff were super friendly and provided amazing service.
The bread is all made fresh, but we didn't really like the sound of any of the toppings which was a shame.
Overall it's a little pricey but well worth it!

Best service! Best vibe! Best homemade pasta, sourdough bread!! Everything is made from scratch, seasonal, and delicious. Will be back!!
Jolisa Sheridan
The back patio was an oasis! The food was amazing. Staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely a place we will visit again! (Loved the "Walken")
Joe Masci
Wow. That was exceptional. The drinks alone were worth the trek out of downtown (always wanted to drink like Yul Brynner). On top of that homemade Nutella and killer pancakes!
Michael Wang
Excellent restaurant with great food and great service. Beef carpaccio was the best of the dinner items. Adam was an excellent server with super attentive service.

Esther’s Kitchen offers all the quintessential ‘downtown local hotspot eatery’ essentials, without the Las Vegas chaos.
With their rotating seasonal menus as well as various dishes and cocktails curated using locally and ethically sourced ingredients whilst paying the utmost attention to each and every detail, Esther’s has it down.
They also typically offer some vegan menu options that don’t compromise on flavor. The cauliflower risotto was UNREAL. 🙏🏼
The servers, bartenders, chefs, hosts, and owners are all so kind, accommodating, and friendly.
ProTip: Book a reservation or you’ll be forced to trek through the dirty swamps of Las Vegas strip or Fremont. The choice is yours!
Lastly, if you’ve read this far… GET THE BREAD! GET THE BREAD! GET A LOAF! YOUR TUMMY WILL GIVE THANKS FOR THE DELICIOUS CARBS CONSUMED.
Ya welcome

Great dining place, great food.
Definitely get a reservation beforehand.
Amazing charcuterie board!
Yvonne Guajardo
Delicious Italian style brunch menu. New item, French Toast, best I've ever had. Looked so delicious, forgot to take pic!
dsm619
Simple menu, food was good, I had the pan roasted chicken which was delicious and my girlfriend has the bucatini we weren't too crazy about that dish. They have wine too we had Pinot noir and very satisfied.
Elise Herwig
Lovely staff, delicious food beautifully plated, and the wine was fantastic. Unpretentious, welcoming, and energized atmosphere. Highly recommend! The Ricotta Gnudi with beets was *chef's kiss*
Gilbert Torres
Not much you don’t know about this place of your already reading the reviews. The food is amazing. I went two nights in a row. The drinks were great as well. This is a vegas must see if your in town.
Stephanie Kay
Wonderful experience! The menu was full of incredible options and the food was delicious. The sharing plates and the bread was fantastic - hats off to the bakers! We also enjoyed a delicious house made pasta and pizza. Not to mentioned the atmosphere was super warm, cozy, and friendly. This was my favourite meal in Las Vegas, highly recommend.
Malte Rohmann
Incredible food, sourdough is excellent and the duck was brilliant.
I will definitely come back as well the waiter are brief very well and now the menu which in most of the places is not the case.
Here it's very different, see you soon

This was my second time visiting and I must say I’m a fan of this place. The food is all fantastic and the service is great! The entire staff was very friendly and helpful.
Monica Kirby
The spaghetti & meatballs are by far the best I’ve ever had in my entire life, I dream about it!!! All of the food I’ve had there is absolutely outstanding and their cocktails are as good as the food. I ask the waiter to pair my drinks with my food because they always chose the best! The charcuterie board is dreamy, and if you’re wanting a soda, order a coke with black cherries, you won’t regret it. I live out of state but visit often and my family always chose Esther’s for dinner ever time we visit!!! Make a reservation in advance and get there early so you can have about 5 min to park. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!
Haleh Shahbazbegian
We gpt a pizza and a pasta, also a flat bread with 3 different dips. We loved the foods. And the service was good too.
Bill Cromie
Outstanding yet simple menu. Great service, real food and fun to people watch in the Artsy part on Lad Vegas. Pricing affordable
Tom Kastorff
Been wanting to go here for ages. Glad we did! Amazing food. Down home authentic Italian that is -really- hard to find. Absolutely delicious food and flavors. The bread and butter alone is bomb. The buttered noodles for the kid are a meal itself. The pizza is true pizza oven style and amazing. Cold beer on tap. Nice outdoor patio. Nolan was super friendly and A+ service. Will absolutely be back! 5 stars top to bottom. Can't wait to see the new place when they move into the retro Vegas building...
Dan A
First time visit for lunch. Been researching for a while now and wanted to try but didn't know much about the "Arts District" area and looked a bit sketchy from some pictures. Decided to give a try on the way to the Premium Outlets and we were blown away by the food. Amazingly fresh with great flavor and textures. Staff was super cool and loose. They have a different menu for dinner and also weekend brunch so we'll definitely be back when back in Vegas. Hats off to you all.
Craig Vera
A bit busy and on the expensive side but completely worth it! Loved the modern flair on traditional Italian dishes. That was some of the best italian food I've ever had. Don't expect boring; embrace something new! The service was excellent with truly knowledgeable servers. Highly recommend making a reservation.
Christine H
Incredible. Made an effort to get us in quickly despite not having a reservation and the food was out of this world. All handmade farm to table, reasonable prices and cozy atmosphere. Thank you!
Kristen Dority
I am so in love with this restaurant! I will need to come back to Vegas just to come back here. I don’t actually enjoy Vegas, so this feels like home. Farm to Table, really fresh ingredient, well thought out and beautifully prepared. Cocktails were spot on. Nice people. Hopefully they didn’t get weirded out how I kept saying I love everything about Esther’s, haha.
Chelsey Norris
Perfect cozy spot away from all the craziness of the Vegas strip. All the food we had was delicious. Pro tip - Do NOT skip the sourdough bread appetizer!
Kelly Junker
I really wanted to love this place. It came recommended by some service industry folks at other establishments and I was strongly encouraged to give it a try while in Vegas.
To start off, cocktails were amazing. The house list was original and we'll thought out with some interesting choices, my favorite being 'in for a penny' with prosciutto washed mezcal. 100% worth it. We tried 5 different drink choices and all were great.
Moving to food. Definitely, absolutely, get the sourdough bread starter and dipping options. This was the second best part of the meal agter the cocktailofferings. I would be typing too long to cover this, but, it's a must try.
Finally, the apps, mains and when i was totally disappointed. Salt. So much salt. On every plate. Wagu beef carpaccio, a beautiful presentation, was crunchy with it. No it wasn't the roasted capers. It was red wine infused salt. The lobster pasta main, another perfectly cooked plate, salt. It just overpowered everything. Pairing a very strong pickle, calling it a cucumber, with the yellowtail was a bit much also. The yellowtail was amazing but, wiped out by the torched pickle. It was a good pickle though.
Despite this, I honestly have to say it's an interesting place with so many positives. Staff were warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Presentations woer beautiful and on point. I still think it's worth a try if you're in town and I am sad I didn't have the remaining gastric volume to try the mushroom risotto and some other plates. Cost was about $200. Just tell them to put down the salt shaker. My hands are still swollen.

We must have been there on a bad day because I was not impressed with this restaurant. Took my mother there for her birthday. We did a late lunch at 2:30, Place was still packed but cleared out as we waited a long time (about 40 minutes) on our food. Server came to apologize for the delay and to offer use some free bread. Restaurant had emptied by the time the food came out. One in our party had the chicken parm sandwich which was great. Two of our party had pizzas, which were very oily. Oily like they drizzled them olive oil. They were just OK. My meal was a pasta with white sauce. Portion on the small side, which is fine. However, it tasted like my meal had been made first and then left under a heat lamp till the others were complete. It was a chunky, sticky, cool mess with little flavor. Our service was good, but the food not worth the wait or the money. I am hoping it was just a bad day since everybody else loves this place. For me, not worth the hassle or the price.
Jennifer Arevalo
Fantastic! From the homemade pasta, freshly baked sourdough, perfectly cooked pizza, eclectic drink selection, everything about this place blew us away. Oh and their customer service is on point. So welcoming and easy to talk to…I really couldn’t say enough that hasn’t already been said about this beautiful restaurant.
I really wish I had more time in Vegas so that I could try out their brunch.
Jeremy
Excellent brunch, lunch and dinner experiences year round. Make reservations two weeks in advance if possible since the restaurant fills up completely on busy days. And save room for the warm, fresh homemade bread. Definitely recommend.
Terry Wright
Loved every piece of food brought out by the expo. Very interesting Italian style restaurant.
Sam & Ash Injury Law
Esther’s Kitchen always provided us with a great experience. Their food not only tastes fresh and delicious, but it looks incredible too. The service is always efficient and fast, while still welcoming and getting to know their customers. The food always tastes fresh and high-quality while maintaining its professionalism and authenticity. Highly recommend making a stop at Esther’s Kitchen!
Carlos Lira
Great place !!! Very recomendable. If you are tired of the Strip. this is your place. Great food , great wine, great ambient.
Nicholas Whitehead
This was hands down the best, not only Italian meal, but out of all the meals I have eaten, one of the best meals I have ever had. The freshly made bread and pasta were beyond delicious. I dare say they were sublime. Then when you couple this with fantastic service you are left with probably the best restaurant I have ever been to. Do yourself a huge favor and have a meal here as soon as possible. I assure you it will be the highlight of your year!! Cheers!
Monsieur Prince
I thought this place was excellent even though my lobster was just a tad over cooked. The pasta tasted super fresh I could definitely taste the difference. My mom had the scallops and my wife had the chicken both with pasta and both were superb. Bret our server did a great job with the wine recommendation and was very polite.
Andree Harris
This is a Vegas must! If you are doing Fremont or Arts District then this is the best food nearby!! Strongly recommend reservations, this place gets packed quickly. Amazing food, seasonal food and cocktail menu, can't ask for more. Be sure to buy a round for the kitchen! Jessica, Caroline and Nolan are amazing, funny, down to earth servers who will elevate your experience - ask for them if you can!
Bryan Siddall
The bread service is truly - truly - exceptional. The pastas were great. The wine was good and very reasonably priced. The meatballs were amazing! And the service was top notch!
I’d highly recommend this for locals and visitors alike. Great job!
Chris Schuh
Esther’s was recommended to us by a family member who lives in California. Hands down the best food, drinks and service in town.
Grey Skold
Very friendly staff, quick service, delicious drinks and food, good vegetarian options, and outside seating has AC/fans to keep you cool on hot days.
The bread is definitely worth trying, there's a reason they hype it up so much. Get your favorite dips and enjoy!
Adrien La
The experience I had here was amazing, food was delicious and service was phenomenal. I recommend the cauliflower signature dish!
EM Adams
Amazing! Im from Missouri and happen to be an Esther. The food, atmosphere, and service were 5 stars! You will not be disappointed. Best sourdough I've ever tasted!
Tyson Hoyt
Best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Absolutely incredible service, food, and atmosphere. A must-have if you like Italian food.
Marlise Garcia
This place was beyond ahmazzing! And the service was impeccable! We had the house made sourdough with five different dips, the charred octopus, truffle pasta with fennel and lobster and the 40 day dry aged NY steak. Every dish was beyond all my expectations! James Trees you amazed my palate and I will be talking about your place for a long time! Thanks to you and the staff I was very impressed! I will definitely be back soon especially for the anchovy dip! Crazy delish and need to save room for dessert next time!
Hayli Dunlop
I’ve been to Esther’s many times at this point. The food NEVER disappoints- it is always incredible. The cocktails are amazing. The service is wonderful, warm, and friendly. This is my go to spot and my go to recommendation. Highly recommend! Reservations can be hard to get but if you’re willing to be sat at the bar (which I would recommend just to get to talk with the great bartends) they can usually accommodate you rather quickly!
Matt Alvino
Liked it. Was pretty happen with the pizza we got. The bread and... dipping sauces? Smears? Pastes? Whatever they called them, were all very solid. Service was good. Beer selection was also good.
Not far from Old Vegas. A good spot to grab dinner of you want a different vibe/pace away from the casinos.
Elizabeth o'brien
Excellent from the beginning to the end couldn’t get a reservation but the hostess was amazing to get us a seat at the bar within 30 minutes the bartender was amazing drinks fantastic in food was exactly what we expected amazing thank you so much for a wonderful experience
Roberto Hannibal
I had an amazing time here. I could not have been happier with my experience at Esther's kitchen. Making the reservation was so easy. They made sure every detail was accounted for.
When I arrived, the ambiance was so beautiful and the I was greeted by extremely friendly staff. They accommodated every single person and we had 14 people! Mitchell was an incredible server. He made my birthday amazing.
The food was absolutely incredible. I did not expect everything to be so good. The spreads made my eyes pop out of their sockets. And the pastas had me silent with my face in my bowl. Not only would I come back, but Esther's is now my go to spot when visiting Las Vegas. I will definitely be telling anyone who will listen about this place.
Thank you!!!!
vu nguyen
Great service and great food. I really liked that the waiter gave us his recommendations for each category on the menu. We had the spaghetti and meatballs and the pasta was definitely made in house and not store bought. The meat balls were also of high quality and the dish was the best spaghetti and meatballs I ever had.
Elly Wardle
If you are looking for delicious food off the strip with excellent cocktails, look no further than Esther's Kitchen. We received this recommendation from a local that we met earlier in the day & were not disappointed. The bread is all homemade - highly recommend ordering a variety of spreads. We landed on the Little Gem Salad, Mary's chicken & the Tuna Crudo. All spectacular & reasonably priced!
Danielle M
Esther's kitchen has amazing pasta! The squid ink bucatini is delicious. Also, the charcuterie is a must have! The amaro selection is also very extensive.
Jake Taylor
Esther's Kitchen gets a lot of hype, and all of it is well deserved. The atmosphere is on point, and the food tastes as good as it looks. My wife and I both tried their New School Pasta. Her Butternut Squash Tortellini was equally savory and sweet with the hazelnut and espresso flavors, and had such an autumnal feel. I tried the Ricotta Gnudi, and the roasted beets combined with the pistachio pesto made for a delicious dish. Our server Christian was both friendly and super knowledgable, helping us with excellent recommendations. If you're planning a nice date night dinner, you can't go wrong with Esther's Kitchen. Be sure to make a reservation though!
pilotdane
It's sorta easy to make a good pasta dish but Esther's really shows what great pasta can be. The simple presentation is a nice contrast to the great flavor and textures that come.
Definitely make reservations if you can. Otherwise it is worth the wait to put your name on the list and go across the street for a drink. Unlike some restaurants Esther's will text you when your table is ready.
Lauren Hatch
We went to Esther's Kitchen for my birthday dinner, and it was incredible. The sourdough bread and spreads alone are worth having dinner here, but everything we tried was amazing - cocktails included. Can't wait to go back!
Dara Polnerow
Wow. Wow wow. This place is incredible. The staff was incredible. The hostess were very accommodating. The bar is awesome! Tucker is a great bartender with extensive passion for the vision of the experience. The food was impressive. The ingredients, the display, the taste. Really a wonderful event start to finish.
Kimberly Vess
Some nights you are lucky enough to have a perfect meal. Tonight was that night for me. Cacio e pepe. I will dream about this meal for a very long time, glad I got off the strip.
Ashley Simpson
This was my second dine in at the restaurant. As always the food was very amazing. First time, I tried the lobster pasta and it was the best I have ever had. This time around, I dined in with a few work friends. Unfortunately, the lobster pasta was seasonal but I tried the Radiatore Pasta this time around. 10/10, would highly recommended. Our server was amazing but I was a little sad as I left (parked just around the corner) and realized my to go box was left inside of the restaurant. Our party was gone for literally less than 2 min and my leftovers were instantly tossed. I was only a little upset because there was a substantial amount of food left. I was pressed for time as I had a meeting to go to afterwards, but would have been nice to enjoy my leftovers. It was pretty busy during lunch time so it is likely our server wanted to get the table ready as soon as possible, but it could have been held at the front for some time.. given that we had just left and I had requested a to go box. For this reason, I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.
Mark Steele
Easy to see why this place is bombarded with accolades and packed on a Wednesday afternoon. Reservations are required at this point, if you want to eat here.
House made pasta, fresh bread with unique spreads and most reasonable wine list in town. Was very happy with my mortadella sandwich. The bucatini is as good as I've had in my Italy travels.
Service didn't leave us with many needs. Gorgeous patio.
No vetos here. Make sure to see what all the fuss is about.
ShowMeTheCarbs
Food was great but id come all the way back from California just for the bread! Sourdough was fresh and tasty with the inside perfectly soft and crust not to hard or chewy. Feels like just another hole in the wall restaurant from the outside but the energy inside is quite nice once inside. I ordered the pork belly sandwich and was really satisfied with my choice. Chips had a bit too much salt but with that being the only hiccup in the meal it's definitely a new addition to my favorite places to eat in LV
Lori Schwartz
Underwhelmed. And by little things such as the ambience was so loud we just about missed that you have to order bread (their famous sourdough) in order to enjoy their list of “bread” appetizers. Branzino got raves, but the classic spaghetti was drenched in red sauce and had one piece each of the advertised tomato varieties. Service was great. Cocktails were inventive and enjoyed by all.
Chrisie Allen
Esther's kitchen was so phenomenal I forgot to take photos! The server's forgot we were seated for a minute so that was frustrating but as soon as we let them know they made sure to make up for it and gave us a free appetizer. We were seated outside in a little hut with a heater. It was actually quite nice we had some privacy!
The sourdough bread was absolutely phenomenal. We ordered the Carpaccio and the pork belly. WOW. We were absolutely blown away. Top the evening off with their mezcal cocktails which were uniquely crafted and delicious.
I will definitely be coming here again and recommending this to all of my friends!
rebecca hirst
One of my favorite restaurants in Vegas. Beautiful pastas that melt in the mouth, but let’s be real, you go to Esther’s for the sourdough bread and flavored butters. They’re just a little bit of heaven. Can’t wait for the new bigger location to open cause it can be hard to get reservations. We tell all our friends and visitors to go to Esther’s and they can’t get enough!!
VAL D
Absolutely love this place. It’s one of our favorites!! Everything is fresh made to order. The food is delicious! Every dish is amazing! We had friends in town from Italy. It was there moms first time to American. She had said how disappointed she was in American food. We brought them to Esters, she said it was the best food she had her whole visit to American. They some of the dish tasted like her food in Italy :) We bring everyone to Esters!! Thank you guys for the awesome food and service!🙏🏻
David Buitrago Technodav
This place exceeded my expectations, food was too tasty, Andreya was amazing, she answered all my questions about the food, beverages and restaurant, she speaks in very proper way and she knows Spanish too other reason to visit this place and ask for her.
Emily McCloskey
If you have ever wondered what it's like to be a millennial, this is the place for you! My husband and I stopped in after a foodie recommended it to us. It was not our style, but the style in which this restaurant is modeled after is done perfectly. Everyone in there, even the patrons, were dressed adorably and the decorations were on point for the target audience. The food was good, although both mine and my husband's came out lukewarm instead of hot. It would have been a perfect five stars had that been different! My coffee was lovely and the waitress was unbelievably kind and helpful in making suggestions for us.
tonya Del Toro
What a great find in the heart of the arts district. Downtown Las Vegas. We tried 5 of the signature cocktails, the charcuterie board, Mary's pan fried chicken and the cavitelli. Not one disappoint in the meal. Extremely tasty and fulfilling! Aaron was our waiter he was so attentive and very knowledgeable. We didn't ever have an empty glass or extra plates in the way! We dined in one of the pods and couldn't have guessed we would have had such a great experience! Don't hesitate to book a reservation it's worth the drive!
DC
Friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our food, service and atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Robert Towler
We were searching for a good breakfast place and found Esther’s Kitchen on TripAdvisor so we decided to try it. We were so glad we did. The food was excellent. We commented we would go back just for the bread. The spreads for the b read were excellent. My favorite was the ricotta basil spread. The staff was very accommodating. It was an out of the way place that was in a neighborhood. I had the Jidori (spelling) Chicken sandwich. If you are looking for a nice quiet off the beaten path Esther’s Kitchen should be on your radar. The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly and the decor is eclectic.
Pooty Rooty
We went as a group of four. The atmosphere was winning and our server Adam was courteous and walked us through the night well. We ordered sourdough and a number of spreads; they were rich and intensely flavorful but honestly I was more impressed with the plain salted and peppered butter. The menu has seasonal dishes.
Paul Viscione
Esther’s Kitchen
This restaurant was started by a lot of bloggers. The food was good, but not great. We were in Cabernet in the waitress said she didn’t have anymore of the $12 Cabernet but there was another Cabernet choice that was a “few dollars” more, good thing I looked at the wine list a few dollars more was $27 glass. All and all it was OK but not worth the hype.
Kira Grady
We went her on the foodie tour and hands down was our favorite spot! The peach salad was super refreshing, the fried cauliflower was the best I have ever had, and the pasta was fresh and top notch. Seriously make the trip to this gem in the arts district you wont regret it!
Miranda De Valdivielso
Eating at Esther's Kitchen was such a delight! It has a great atmosphere and to top it off the food was delicious. I ordered various items off of the menu and everything tasted well over my expectations. The service was also exceptional. This will definitely be a go to spot for brining family and friends.
Andrea Thomas
Absolutely delicious! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The sourdough bread is phenomenal. The tagliatelle pasta was probably the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to Italy many times. The branzino was superb, delicious flavors with the lentils! And the drinks!!!! Enough said.
Artem Diuzhikov
This place is just amazing. So wanted to try their handmade bread, but decided to go with a Peach Prosciutto Pizza and I can say it's the most delicious pizza I've ever tried. Also tried Ricotta Cavatelli (pasta with rabbit) and and Pan Roasted Mary's Chicken. Loved those too. And cocktails, their $12 special drinks are best in town! Definitely gonna come back here.
Danual Meyers
Wonderful service with a very creative and delicious menu. I highly recommend this place. Maka sure to call ahead. Everything was top quality and really fresh. Pasta is all hand made. I give this a 10/10
Raye Dewolfe-Molesky
This place is well deserving of all the hype on Vital Vegas. OMG everything and I mean everything was fantastic! One of the very best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. And I love Italian food! We got the house made sourdough bread as an appetizer. The bread itself was out of this world but the butter, olive oil/vinegar they serve is also to die for. Our waiter ??Alfie?? told us that the lunch only Rattatoi pasta and he was oh so right. Black garlic, lemon, basil and pasta. OMG so,so very good Tasted a huge complexity of flavor including unami though there were no mushrooms in the dish. Yummmmm! Great recommendation Alfie! Thank you! Equally as amazing were the chicken parmesan sandwich and the meatball sandwich. Both exceptional! The side salad and chips as sides were also equally remarkable. We were way too full to try dessert. But the dessert we saw going to other tables looked amazing too! Have to give a shout out to our bar tender from PDX who kept our water and my diet coke always full. In 112 degree heat we really appreciated that as well! Just sorry I didn't catch his name. The hostess was wonderful as well. Next time we are in Vegas we will be back!👍😋😁
Brynna Malen
So eclectic, fun, positive and trendy. It seems like the whole front of the house staff is men, while females cook the food. Vegan options, unique flavor combinations and a fun and upbeat environment!
Paul Harris
Esther's Kitchen is by far one of gems of the cities food scene. Off the beaten path but by no means hidden away. The food is always fresh, filling, and tasty as they offer new menus seasonally. This place is a must for any local and if you're in town and can find a reservation, be sure to get one, you won't want to miss this.
Randy Sadler
Make a reservation, call an Uber, leave the strip! You will not be disappointed! This restaurant is a gem in Las Vegas. Actually went for bunch and it was incredible. Everything you would expect from a top joint in your hometown! Fresh from scratch food, great atmosphere, amazing staff! Probably the best carbonara I've ever had.
Jay B
Food tasted great with the exception of unpleasant hard pieces of bone or something hard in one of the spreads and the tuna salad.
Service was also great but have one suggestion: please double check your silverware and coffee cups for cleanliness.
Prices are on the high side which is expected of Vegas
Sisi Chen
What a treat! We dined in the "pods" in the back terrace area, so you are well separated from the other patrons. The food was very tasty. Most memorable was the charcuterie board and their sourdough bread with anchovy butter. Definitely coming back for more!
sarah chebet
Make a reservation, call an Uber, leave the strip! You will not be disappointed! This restaurant is a gem in Las Vegas. Actually went for bunch and it was incredible. Everything you would expect from a top joint in your hometown! Fresh from scratch food, great atmosphere, amazing staff! Probably the best carbonara I've ever had.
Ian Wallace
My family had a wonderful time during a recent visit, sharing several of the spreads and the terrific sourdough bread, the charcuterie and several pastas. My carbonara was among the best I've ever had, the guanciale was cooked to a delightful, perfect crispiness. Everyone else reported that their meals were excellent and we were very well taken care of by our server.
Victoria Jung
We really love this place! So delicious and fun atmosphere. The servers are really cool too! They always have bright smiles and pleasant conversations. We love the food and atmosphere here!
Dayla Kelley
This place will not disappoint you! I do recommend making reservations because it is always packed. Their food, service, atmosphere is wonderful. It is a must go to place when we come to Vegas, which is every three months. We always enjoy sitting at the bar, bar tenders are great with conversations, skills, recommendations too.
Joshua Fu
Delicious Italian food with a really great atmosphere! The pasta is hand made and all the ingredients are super fresh!
We got the gem salad, Chitarra, rigatoni, and pappardelle. My favorite was the pappardelle - it was pesto sauce with mushrooms. I definitely could have had more! I didn’t have a picture because I ended up finishing it up too quickly lol.
Would definitely love to come back to try all the other pastas, and I hear the pizzas are amazing!
Marwa Maki
Great food and service. I was concerned about the portions but they were actually pretty good and filling. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Place was packed the whole time we were there.
Chelsea Ruetsche
A hidden gem tucked away in a cute area. The sourdough was, of course, amazing! The jam was the perfect spread. We got the meatball sub and Pepe pasta. Both were very good. Definitely plan a nap after. The cherry sour beer, recommend. I enjoy a place with a story and you can find theirs online. We loved the option to pay $6 to buy a round for the staff. We were the last table of the day and felt it was the perfect thing to do. Cheers!
kiravity
this place was so good and had its own unique flair. the rigatoni carbonara was to DIE for and the drinks we had were good too. also the best meatballs i’ve ever had. so happy our realtor gave us a gift card to this place.
Smiling in the Sun
Cozy heated private "pods" (greenhouses) out back in this 43 degrees made this experience very welcoming. We did have 8pm reservations and weren't sat until 8:40, a testament to just how pleasant Esther's is. The food and service were second to none. Pasta is homemade daily, and curation of the meal was impressive. Hope to be back soon.
Rebecca Kaplan
I ate at Esther’s Kitchen as the first stop of my Finger Licking Foodie Tour, I must say the food was outstanding! Great flavors and nice presentation. Cocktail paired well with the food. Service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely go back!!
Miss Review
Esters kitchen, food was all pretty good customer service was amazing very friendly polite pretty quick even when they’re busy the cauliflower was my favorite!! A little pricy for what you get but it was good! Keep up the good work
Jessica Eliassen
We went to Esther's kitchen on a recent trip to Vegas for work. I will be returning every time we are in town. This was seriously some of the most amazing food I've ever had.
Our group ordered:
3 choice spread (basil ricotta, anchovy butter, and fegatini)
Duck Crespelle
Wagu Beef Carpaccio
Charred Spanish Octopus
Butternut Squash Tortellini (this is the only thing we didn't LOVE, just a little heavy on the warm spices)
Mafaldine Nero
Beef and Pork Meatballs
Jimenez Farms Goat
Yes, we went a little crazy...but all of that PLUS two rounds of drinks for under $300!!
On top of the killer food, our server, Adam was awesome! He was a true menu expert, and guided us flawlessly throughout the meal.
10/10 recommended...from some serious foodies!
Jim Augerinos
Love everything about this place. The staff, the ambiance, the cocktails, the wine list, the Amaro list, the sourdough and Dang....the pasta is mind blowing (served perfectly al dente). I'm already making plans to go back for lunch and or brunch as we speak. So glad I found this spot and dig the location and arts district as well. Run don't walk to this gem.
Olivia Vanarthos
This was the best pasta I have ever had! The dishes are creative and interesting, with pairings I could never imagine but am so happy to partake of. The staff was super friendly and, for as busy as they were, seemed relatively relaxed. The whole place echoed the Vegas nightlife with an invigorating energy that excited us as we walked in. Get the bread, it's the best. Get the pasta, it's also the best. I think the pastas are seasonal so the chef switches them out, but if you go soon, the Occhi was out of this world.

This is THE brunch spot you have to go to. Visiting vegas for a few days and this was easily the best. Got the Nutella orange French toast, the polenta, potatoes, the sourdough bread, and the chocolate crepe cake - and everything, yes everything, was five on five! Such a good place.
And Jess and Liz at the bar - unbelievably friendly and so nice.
Nicole Kindred
Best restaurant off the strip if you want good cocktails and great food! I got lucky to get a table same day for my bday on the back patio so definitely make reservations before going. Their menu is seasonal so what I ordered last time was not on the menu but the pasta dish I ordered this time around which the name of it I can't remember was still amazing. Definitely a restaurant I will visit every time I'm n Vegas!!! Food was so good I forgot to take a pic but I highly recommend the not too sweet vodka drink 👍🏽👌🏽
Robert Lake
Due to one of my favorites having reduce their menu because of Covid and its impact on the business we were looking for an easy walk from that location and this was the easiest. Having looked at the menu I was intrigued but my wife had close to no interest in going. Upon seeing it mix with the smells that were quite heavenly my wife requested that we eat here. That was a fantastic decision as everything is fresh and unique to most anywhere we’ve gone before. The food was awesome the drinks were creative and fantastic the atmosphere was quaint in the kitchen staff what is lively, especially if you utilize the menu item of buying them a beer. Do yourself a favor and come here often.

Lovely outside patio, impeccable service and fantastic homemade Italian pasta. The mussels over sourdough bread were the hit of the night. This is a fun spot in downtown Las Vegas, great for a date or a group. Esther’s Kitchen ownership recently opened another restaurant in Tivoli Village.
Jameelah Lewis
Once again, Esther's Kitchen reigns supreme. Of course the food was great (look at my pictures for proof), but Silvia our waitress was popping!!!! I was a bit concerned at first as they ran behind on reservations, but they still accommodated us. Not only was the service and food amazing, but my friends really enjoyed it and that is the best. I really am excited to see this business continuously thrive in our community.
katharine overgaard
Delicious - corn blueberry pancakes and sourdough were light and airy, delicious, and filling. Get the anchovy butter! Well worth the drive from the Strip.
Pavan Setty
Another great find. We loved the food, cocktails, service..the whole 9 yards. So many options to try out from the menu. Thankfully we had Adam to help us out. Great experience overall.
Giacomo Zarcone The Zarcone Realty Group
Always a treat coming here. I always order the Porchetta and Mortadella sandwich and split it with my guests since I like them both the same. It's a gimmick Italian restaurant I am well aware but I welcome the inventivness and creativity.
Tom Martin
Had a great experience. We had a large group, 9 and had some allergies and vegetarian restrictions and everyone had a wonderful meal. Service and food were outstanding. Best we have had in Vegas.
Melinda Esquivel
Let’s start with the outside patio & tents. Such a cute vibe! Wish it was open at night time because it would be perfect ! The service was friendly and not over the top. I enjoyed the pancakes and blackberry mimosa. This is a place I’d definitely visit again and tell people about.
Lee Bailey
Awesome place. The food is very tasty and the drinks too. The service is very fast, our waiter was very attentive to us. I will definitely come again.
Kristen Race
Love having a beautiful local gem like this downtown! Went for a friend's birthday and we had a great time. The menu is seasonal and delicious. Didn't get a shot of the chicken but it was cooked to perfection. The only thing is that I wish the Rosemary bits were strained out of my cocktail so I didn't have to spit them out after every sip 😂 Be sure to make a reservation. Will definitely be back!
Drew Barnett
Amazing experience as always. Servers are knowledgeable and helpful. Great prices on cocktails and btg wine. Creative and fresh dishes. Excellent area of Vegas. Newly revamped arts district. Give this place a shot!!
Corey Hansen
A little more expensive than a usual place, at least as far as brunch is concerned. 100% worth the money though. Sourdough is to die for, spaghetti is phenomenal. Drinks are possibly the best I've had in Vegas.
Update: been here a dozen times this year. Always great, so far nothing on the menu has disappointed.
Vu Pham
I don't live in Vegas, but am in town often enough to make it a point to have a meal at Esther's, be at dinner or brunch every time I visit.
First of all, the food is simply phenomenal, especially more so considering the price and service. In fact, there have been trips when I've been there for dinner and come back for brunch the next day.
Service is always awesome, but this last visit was exceptional. From bartenders Dave and Brian to GM Kristina and Chef Stephen and the hostess working the busy door, this was one of my most memorable dining experiences I've had in some time in Vegas!
Amanda Johnson (Amanda Rose Sellers)
Truly epic meal! We did a biiiig family setting of food and literally each dish was EXACTLY how you hoped it would be!
Cool arsty vibe inside too! Always a very nice surprise!
Kai Weber
Great location, great food. The personal as well
Allans Flowers
I can't say enough about Esther's Kitchen. It is so perfectly delicious. Each thing you eat is fabulous. The service is solid. The cocktails are delicious. But the food is the superstar!
clair Lozano
Food took really long for 3 people. We went over our 2 hour street parking. One of us missed a bit of time for work.
Ordered the caprese appetizer but did not include bread just FYI. Both tasted standard.
Ordered the beef cheek sandwich. Contents were good because of the fat content. Bread was a little too hard . Salad was OK, was pretty peppery but one note. And the veggie chips were fresh, those were ok.
Bucatini wasn't that much more tasty than spaghetti. It was nicely spicy. I think it had chicharon bits (which is a great idea). Pasta tasted fresh. Meatballs were standard.
Overall a little underwhelmed with the food. A little disappointed with the wait. Unfortunate as we brought a visitor. The patio was also a little dark. I wish the side was drawn a little too let in some light. The server had a boo boo with our order but she fixed it. She seemed as if she was just trying to get through her shift and not trying to connect.
Lila Nazef
Great vibes, New York style brunch place. Service was 5 stars they are all so helpful and kind. Kitchen is open so you can see the chef cooking and food is delicious. We will be back for sure. It’s great to be off the hotels and casinos and experience another face of Vegas.
Charlie White
The pasta dishes here are exquisite. The sourdough bread is perfectly baked and fresh, the service is cheerful and friendly, and the prices are exorbitant.
Never mind that, the food is unlike any you’ll ever have, with extensions of pasta recipes going well into the stratosphere and beyond.
We enjoyed every bite of this meal, which extend into the evening and ended with the most intense chocolate cake experience I’ve ever had.
If you like Italian food, you’ll be surprised at what it’s going to be like in the future, as interpreted by the talented and creative chef at this outstanding restaurant.
Marius Karrer
Loved everything about it. Will go everytime I'm in Vegas. Highly recommend it
Karly H (Exploring the lakes!)
If I could give them 6 stars I would!!! Coolest patio in Vegas.... best variety. Good cocktail list!!!! Check it out People.....
Amber Stewart
This has been on my places to go for a while.
The atmosphere was unique, funky and welcoming! It is a great place to go with a group, by yourself or on a date.
The service was phenomenal! I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was the best I’ve had in a very long time! I would suggest the margherita pizza, the spaghetti and the sourdough bread! No
Zach Dailey
What an AMAZING lunch!! Truly scrumptious. The decor of the restaurant is fantastic, perfectly eclectic for the Arts District locale. Everything is homemade there, from the bread to the pasta, even the plates are made by a local artisan. The pastas were perfect, the salads were fresh and inviting, and the bread was pillow-soft with a nice crusty exterior. The staff was incredible, knowledgeable and generous. There are plenty of options for everyone, including vegan. So glad to recommend this place!
emily z
The waitress was extremely helpful in recommendations etc and was friendly/accommodating to our large group. The bloody Mary was good, nothing amazing, but the food was excellent and filling. The porchetta benedict was my favorite and had a dash of spiciness in it.
Dayan Perez
if you are going to eat in this restaurant you have to be prepared to Teleport to Italy in one Bite. 5 stars
Carlo Barone
This was the discovery of the year. I asked my buddy to find us a great place off the Strip, little did I know what I was waking into. It was a flavor explosion, and the imagination that went into every single plate was just incredible. An you're very professional server what he /she suggests and sit back and let it come to the table. We ordered 6 different dishes and the talking stopped. Just moans of "you can't be serious". We're repeated over and over. It's very casual, in a store front. What a find!!!
F45 Training Las Vegas Arts District
Our team is new to this part of town, so we've decided to taste our way through DTLV! We had a lovely lunch, deciding to try their Homemade Sourdough, House Made Pasta, and Chicken Parm ! Everything tasted delicious, the service was wonderful, and the restaurant floor's special visit from Chef Casey made the experience that much more delightful.
Thank you Esther's Kitchen - we'll definitely be back!
Jonathan Shew
This was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had - and I don’t mean in Vegas - I mean EVER. The menu is exquisite and different. Trust me. RUN to grab a meal and a cocktail here.
Christopher “CJ” Monson
Brunch is great, well worth it. Sat at bar, great service, mixologist are great. Bloody Mary all fresh ingredients best I have had, twisted spoke in Chicago been the leader until now. Food is great.
DiAnne Thrush
Awesomely awesome...
The food, all the different textures and flavors..delicious. we had some of everything, literally, my friend ordered all the small boards and small plates. The house pickles are to die for, great bite in texture and flavor...the bread is fantastic..my only kvetch is that they don't sell the bread to go...I was traveling back to San Diego and wanted to surprise my daughter, she would have loved it, but no can do, I was told...
Jay Doppio
Great pizza and bread, friendly service, great cocktails, and great wine. I definitely recommend this place. The bartenders were great and the cocktails they came up with are some seriously tasty elixirs. They also had some great wines. Only nit I have is that the bar stools are a bit uncomfortable.
Chelsea Atwell
Absolutely amazing. First time coming here after hearing about it for awhile. They rotate their menu often so there's always unique variety. Definitely be sure to make a reservation in advance!
Inge Z
Got super lucky and got a table as a walk in! The food is all homemade and locally sources to the max extent possible!! The handcrafted cocktails were unique. Would recommend for a date or just as a group of friends.
Ann5825
~created in house just like grandma's~
portions are generous & prices are reasonable
Zak is a treasure! we dined for lunch on Wednesday & reservations allowed us immediate seating. based on excellent reviews we ordered the bread starter & cauliflower starter. both were quite tasty. I ordered the pizza with marinated figs 😋 wishing you much success in your artsy Vegas neighborhood.
Austin Tierney
A delicious destination in downtown Las Vegas, Esther's takes a fun and creative spin on new american cuisine with some incredible dishes. Their cocktail program is also fantastic, I personally enjoyed my vietnamese coffee inspired cocktail.
Tannie Wichern
I have been wanting to go here since it opened, hearing so many positive things about it. Listening to the reviews I tried the bread, totally was a must!
Even ended up asking for a loaf to go. Only $8 & beyond worth every penny.
The service was lovely and she even gave me a taste of the 2 wines that I couldn't decide between.
I had the risotto that was TO DIE FOR! I cant wait It to return and try more!
Frank Clarkson
Stopped in before heading to Fremont St - the food and atmosphere here is fantastic! Homemade bread and cheeses, beet salad was incredible, great fresh bread, and the pastas were all winners...highly recommend the cacio e pepe. Owner and chef was expediting at the window and the kitchen staff were having a good time making great food!
Albrecht Ch.
Managed to get a table here on a Thursday at 5:45pm, which I was happy about because we were really craving pasta and we read good things about this place.
I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant because it’s not easy to find good pasta in the US.
But man... this place is amazing!
Starting with the sourdough bread: super tasty. Get the Burrata with it, it’s just amazing.
The pasta was amazing. We had the Sausage ravioli with octopus and the lobster malfada nero. Pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce was tasty and was exactly the right amount (I hate those over saucy pastas!).
Had the cheesecake pana cotta for desert which was a very good end of a perfect dinner.
Staff is friendly and they have free wifi.
Samantha Corona
The staff were all so friendly and the food was amazing! I had the spicy greens salad and I think it may have been the best salad I've ever eaten in my life, the honey vinaigrette was perfection and the serving size was big enough to be filling but not so huge that I had to spend the next hour toting around a to go box or feeling guilty about unfinished food. The sourdough bread had a perfect thick crispy crust and soft chewy interior, I'd honestly go there just for that bread. Esther's Kitchen is definitely a new staple on my go to restaurant list.
Sarah Erbil
The food was absolutely phenomenal! Good portion sizes and really delicious flavor combinations. Not to be missed if you are downtown and looking for a delicious brunch spot.
Ruth Rodriguez
Everyone was very friendly, and food was delicious
Greg Johnson
We made reservations through OpenTable, and had a mixed experience. We were seated immediately, and given water, but we weren't visited by a server for almost 9 minutes. It was a packed house, so I can give a pass for that though.
We ordered the sourdough with anchovy spread, and polpette to start. Both were well-prepared, but overcooked. The anchovy spread was delicious, but the crust on the bread was overly hard. The meatballs were likewise a bit overcooked, sort of like a well-done meatloaf. The presentation was beautiful, and the sauces we're very good, however.
I ordered cavatelli, which, like the appetizers, was overcooked, with the result being a mushy pasta, long past al dente. The sausage in the sauce was incredibly good, but the inclusion of broccoli in a red sauce was possibly the worst thing ever conceived in a kitchen (and I LOVE broccoli). I don't know whose idea that was, but it was awful, and took away from an otherwise great dish. The bill for our meals was the best part, as everything was priced well below what you'd expect!
Most of this is minor gripes, but considering the cult following this place has attracted, and the image they are trying to project, you definitely have to take it into consideration. 3.5 out of 5, don't cook everything so long, and get broccoli out of your red sauce.

If you need a sign to tell you that you should go here ... HERE'S YOUR SIGN! Everything is spectacular! Service, good, drinks, ambience is 10/10. We've been here twice in two weeks. Need I say more?
Cyndi Graham
...still my favorite in Las Vegas. Chef James is always doing the best things.
2020 has bright out the best on people and the new a fall menu is off the charts!!! The pizzas are the best with a new pizza dough too. If you haven’t tried the bread and dips then you h he ave to do it as soon as possible. The patio seating in both the front and back keeps everyone socially distanced.
Old Fashions, California Street Cocktails, bacon and egg pizza, squash salad, stuffed blossoms. All unbelievably delicious.
The service was great. The bartenders were friendly and helpful.
I’m incredibly happy to have a nice sit down restaurant in the Arts District.
I Love the staff here. And the white pizza is so so good.
Beth Holden
Chef Trees makes it all so welcoming and truly like you are sitting down at your nanas home for a home cooked meal. And the extra attention to detail with the techniques.. then the love he shared thru the cooking at home Series!! Always the best!!
Karl Rader
Spaghetti and Meatballs may be "Basic" for most, but Esther's Kitchen have mastered this simple dish and took it to the moon! Best Spaghetti and Meatballs in Vegas! The pasta and bread are all house made. Be sure to make a reservation prior it gets packed.
Julie B.
Always love a new place in the Art District! Went for lunch. Affordable. The food was very good and service very professional and nice. The Chef came to greet us at our table and we chatted a little. This is the kind of attention that will get this place to rise! Will be back soon.
Hollie Lin
Food is delicious and staff are nice ! My reservation was at 8:30pm, however, they couldn't manage to provide me a table on time. I ended up having dinner at almost 9pm by asking just give me a seat at the bar, I was super starving.
Bronsen K (FarmDeeLV)
Great food, staff is super informative, and head chef even came out to check on us and see how we enjoyed the restaurant. Nice spot to take the wifey or a few friends and throwback some pasta. Local beer on tap here too
Victoria Macedo
Writing this review as I eat leftovers, and it’s just as good the second time. Sat at the bar for happy hour (half off pasta with purchase of a drink). Bartender was gracious enough to count my mocktail as a qualifying beverage. Started with cauliflower bites and the polenta with duck. Both full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Don’t think you can go wrong with any of the pizzas on a dough like that. We had the one with boar sausage, potatoes, and rosemary. Grateful for the pomegranate balsamic. And the boar Bolognese pasta!
Johnny Utah
We were referred here by the owners of The Good Wolf. We ate brunch. The Avocado Toast was our appetizer and was amazing. Our table ate the Proper Breakfast and Gravy and Biscuits. Locally sourced food and amazing flavor.
The service was on point and the coffee was at the right temperature. Great eclectic feel and good people all around!
Nette Rab
Been here a couple of times but now I can for sure say "meh" it's alright.
Service on both visits were good. The food is where I'm not a fan of. The restaurant is clean and they practice social distancing during this pandemic.
Food:
Sourdough bread added burrata
Rigatoni Pasta
Lasagna Verde
Porchetta
Cacio e Pepe
The bread is delicious. Ordered it only once. I love that there's an option to add different sides and chose burrata. The Porchetta was horrible. The skin can break your teeth and the fat was too fatty. In addition, the meat was chewy. Mind you, I'm filipino and love pork fat but that was not a good dish and it lacked any flavor.
The Lasagna was dry and cold. Cold? Really, not warmed up or anything. The Cacio d Pepe however was served hot and tasteful. That was my favorite dish.
Overall, this is not a restaurant for me.
Lenny Helton
An overall great experience. Don't fret if you didn't make reservations. They have a back deck, heated in winter, with first come first served seating. The food is very good with the bread (with garlic anchovy butter), and fried cauliflower definitely being the highlights. This is a great way to get off strip and enjoy some good food and ambiance.
David Dickinson
This was hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to. From the amazing food to the photos of Christopher Walken on the walk-in fridge, every detail was perfect. The smallwares from Clay Arts Vegas was such a unique touch to the whole experience.
Andy Abramson
One of the best Italian restaurants in Las Vegas with awesome service and tempting cocktails. The experience never disappoints.
Paul E
The best meal we had in Las Vegas so far. We loved our waitress, we loved the cozy ambiance, and we especially loved the homemade in house sourdough bread. Breakfast was excellent. Pancakes delicious. Service was outstanding. We will return again and again.
Steven Rim
This place is no joke. The only negative I have is the wait time... but that's because this place is super busy, and once you eat you'll understand why. Just come and eat.
Martha Porter Fiszer
Wow. Love this eclectic local spot. There is construction so we had a hard time finding how to get in. But once we got in and seated everything was great. We sat on the patio out back. The menu had a variety of unique options. The cocktail, beer and wine list was great. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. We had the spring salad with peaches. It was phenomenal. Also ordered the beef/pork meatball and blackened squid. Both were exceptional. Definitely a local gem in the art district.
Jairo Gonzalez
This was a cute little place in the Arts District in Vegas with a cool vibe and delicious food. Our bartender, Dave, was wonderful! He gave us the scoop on what his favorite dishes were and crafted us delightful cocktails. They are famous for their homemade daily sourdough bread and pastas and they did not disappoint. I loved their caccio e pepe and the butterscotch budino dessert so, so much. I wish I would've asked for that sauce to go. We also met James, the owner, who was very friendly. We could tell that this guy knew his food. This place is worthy of the drive off the strip. Thank you Dave and James, your service, food and drinks were top notch! We hope to see you again next year.
Runako Taylor
On the one day when it decided to rain like mad Vegas, this one place had room at the bar. The sour beer was quite nice: sour enough to be refreshing but not too sour to drink. The bread was super fresh and piping hot from the oven, it was served with butter/olive oil and burrata. The main course was bronzino, pan seared and crispy with lettuce and whole grains. Very yummy! The bartender/mixologist was great and knowledgeable. He was attentive and kept conversation at the right times of the meal. Overall great food and a welcoming atmosphere - you must go off the strip to find these amazing eats!
Alex D
Housemade everything. Pasta, bread, ricotta cheese. It shows. Great value for money in terms of cuisine. Great laid back atmosphere. Great service. You will not be disappointed.
Barbara Bucher
I had this incredible cauliflower appetizer. This restaurant celebrates farm to table cuisine and handcrafted cocktails. You must try it!
For entrees, we had the carbonara and porchetta. Both were delish. The skin on the porchetta was perfectly crackling!
Joe Welsh
The line began to form 10 minutes prior to open so make reservations or show up early.
Our host and server overheard that we had plans to see a show later that evening, took this into consideration during service.
I ordered the swordfish. Prep was perfection. Charred leeks on the plate were delicious. Lentils seemed underseasoned, but didn't detract.
I also ordered a pilsner from Mojave Brewing. It was the freshest tasting beer I've had in a long time. This speaks to the brewery, but also likely the restaurant turns their kegs over quickly.
Clean bathrooms, considerate and friendly service.
Sophie S
Trendy little spot in the Arts District. Highly recommend making a reservation as they were pretty busy on a Monday night. Great cocktails and even better bread & spread. Small but mighty menu. Serves are extremely knowledgeable, very impressive, no questions left unanswered. Can’t wait to go back.
Kamileah K
I think I got the tortellini or the carbonara I’m not sure but for this being my first time eating here, it was really good lol I was impressed. I didn’t like the vibe I got from the lady who assisted me but other than that everything was extremely well.
John Dwyer
Loved this place! Whatever you do make reservations ahead of time. The homemade bread and lobster pasta are amazing and delicious. We also had Mary's chicken which was tender and lots of flavor. The wine choices are small but mighty. The service is friendly and flawless. I had some of the well after dinner drinks that were perfect. Overall my favorite restaurant in Vegas
Makala Deal
BEST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Sat at the bar, had an amazing time and amazing good. Cocktails are one of kind, sourdough and spreads were delish - menu rotates and was fantastic… finished with dessert and port wine. Left feeling full but satisfied. 10/10, would recommend. MUST GO when in/near Vegas.
Joseph Pessetto
The chef caught me coveting the sourdough bread (you'll understand why when you get there), and stopped to chat and offered to let me buy a loaf to go. The food is great. The portions are not your typical heavy and huge "Italian restaurant" style. The food is light, the people are kind, and the dining room is comfortable. I Highly recommend the trouble of going off the strip.
Claudia Vanesa Jovel
Really love this place. Cocktails where on point and food was delicious, fresh and high quality. We went for brunch and service was excellent. You can tell the orange juice was freshly squeezed. Only feedback I have is that they didn’t have salt and pepper on the table or ketchup for the breakfast potatoes. I don’t particularly care to have ketchup but I took my parents there for the brunch and my step dad loves ketchup with his breakfast potatoes.
Craig Rzepka
So...We were in Vegas for 7 days. We came here twice and regretfully not more. Hands down the best you can get. Chef driven beautiful menu. Everything is outstanding (literally) . I would eat here at least once a week if i was a local. Make sure to make a reservation because they are busy everyday! Long live Esthers Kitchen
Jessica Vanchoff
If you want to experience Italian in a whole new way, then eat here! We had lots of questions and our server answered them all well. Everything was delicious! The beef cheek was absolutely amazing!
Craig Saint Vincent
This place was amazing. Go there. You won't be disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were fantastic. Atmosphere was hoppin. Service was immaculate. 10 of 10
Alli
The vibe in here is so cute. They have these little tents outside and it makes it super private. The cocktails are amazing. They don’t have a lot of gluten free options but what they do have is soooo yummy. The chef and servers make sure they are respecting dietary restrictions
David
Amazing service. I do suggest you make a reservation before you go. Our servermae great suggestions on wine and food. Food was amazing, I had the pasta nero alla puttanesca( with anchovies, olives, capers, parsley on black pasta) everything perfect together.
Jovelle Takeuchi
Delicious go-to spot in Vegas. A short lyft from the strip, in the cute art district. We paid $120, with tip, for two. This is a great deal if you can see all the food we ordered & plus a bottle of bubbly Rose. The bread is an absolute must! We also had the toast with tomato and ricotta, not pictured, but was also to die for!

Mark Dowling
Very good. We ordered all over the menu and weren't disappointed at all. Enjoyed being away from the strip but after dinner drinks were hard to find other than dive bars which aren't necessarily a bad thing.
William Stone
After seeing the menu online, I was initially hesitant to try this place but since my daughter had already made reservations I gave it a go. It was kind of difficult to get a parking space as the place was packed and being downtown, there isn't that many spaces anyway. The atmosphere has that hipster vibe and the entire place feels like it was imported from southern California. The service was very pleasant and the food was very good. The homemade sourdough bread is more of an appetizer here as you have to pay for it but it was probably the best part of the night, it was that good. Make sure to order it with the with burrata alla panna, an extra $10, but well worth it. The Cesar salad was also amazing and the main courses were very good. Sadly, I was unable to partake in any cocktails this evening, but they looked very original.
Preston Millhouse
What a great dining experience. Loved every bite!
John Pisso
Great service at the bar, quality food, drinks & atmosphire along with awsome location at downtown.
Jess the girl at the bar was the best.
Matt Hiler
Our family decided to go off strip to Esther’s because it had really good reviews and was in a neat area (Arts District and near Fremont). The entire experience, particularly the food, exceeded all expectations. We ordered the Burrata + peaches, Cauliflower, and the Corn Agnolotti. Best dinner I’ve had this year at a restaurant. The bread is also to die for. Also, superb service and great ambience. If you are going to Vegas and off strip, make Esther’s a priority.

First time visit and loved them :)
They bake sourdough bread too!
I just walked in and they kindly let us in but suggest to make reservations.
J Morian
Have been here a few times. Always good service and always really good food!
Alexi Bennink
I would give 4.5 stars if I could.
Bread and dips/cheeses were good except the burrata (not fresh). Pasta dishes were creative but tried to do too much - they lacked the elegant simplicity you expect from great Italian food.
Drinks were just ok.
Mickey Pong
Amazing place. Tons of crafted cocktails. Everything looked and tasted amazing. Of course the bread is a must and will fill you up. Best to share and treat like a tapas meal.
Suwanna Buntyn
The reason why I give 4 stars...because of our first impression was a little bit overwhelming with waiting time...My son and his friend recommended us to this place. It wasn't a perfect reservation we were making. This place very new, managment try the best they can for a small place to serve A LOT of guests. Our reservation at 8pm. We finally get to have a table at 9ich😑 my dad have to order appetizer for his wife while waiting in line😏 previous customer was refused to get they bud off the table. After all...food was great! I'll be back to see if it will get any better for the second chance.😎
Morgan King
I was here recently during a crazy flood warning thunderstorm and the staff was absolutely amazing about getting people inside off of the patio, remaining friendly and professional, taking care of flooding indoors, and still getting everyones food out. If they’re this great under pressure then I’m sure they’re incredible on a more normal day. 10/10 would recommend.
Kathryn Cervantes
Great for brunch or dinner, back patio is a hidden gem and the misters keep it very cool even in the summer. Serve Vesta coffee.
Chad Calcagno
Last minute we needed a spot for a large group and so glad they were able to fit us in. Worth the trip off the strip for sure. Our waiter was so helpful and able to guide our group to get a great mixture of apps. The pizza all had great toppings and the crust was excellent. Everyone all got different pastas and they were all delicious and clearly homemade. I will be back for sure!
Wayne Vance
I basically ordered one of everything and nothing was disappointing. Bite for bite, the food is perfect. We sat at the bar and enjoyed every minute. Tucker's recommendations were spot on. This place is a must!
JT Bishoff
We've been a few times before and had such phenomenal food, this last time was so underwhelming. The bread and dips are always so good, but the entrees were not fantastic. We walked away so disappointed.
They clearly have such great staff, and chefs, but for some reason this seasonal menu.. not fantastic. It was heavy and honestly... Not great. I wish I could say otherwise because we love this restaurant. I think this was our last time going though. They should start a bakery and sell that bread!
Erica Otto
Excellent food!! Freshness speaks for itself. This place is clean, cozy, and unique. The only thing that I saw that needs a quick wipe down is the light fixtures and ceiling fan other than that the kitchen is spotless....very important to me that food comes from a clean kitchen!! I will be back numerous times!!
Alex Dogg
This pizza was straight Bussin 💯
Would reserve ahead of time
Kathryn Ghatalia
Heaven on a plate with the best wait staff ever! You won't be disappointed
Thanks Martha you rock
Mariana Schnell
Small establishments in downtown Vegas, away from the strip. Lively atmosphere with great service. The food was terrific. My carpaccio and octopus were outstanding. Highly recommend.
Mike Munoz
Perhaps the best surprise I ever experienced while in LV. These guys are doing amazing things with food and cocktails--great reason for being alive. Celebrate life and eat well!!!!
Luke Michael
Great Italian food. They make all their pastas, doughs, and sauces from scratch. Beautiful place inside and the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly.
Alexxis perrotti
Food was amazing. Great atmosphere. Great service. I highly recommend going. We got the cavatelli, pizza, and the polenta. Everything was absolute perfection. Best polenta I have ever had.
Scott McDonald
Wow. New favorite place. I’ve seen it all over TikTok randomly enough.
Food was bomb. I’m flabbergasted.
Liz was a doll. So friendly. Talkative. Engaging. Prompt. Full of good vibes.

Top notch italian cusine, its american hybrid for some things but the way its al la carte for some things and they dont put the proteins over pasta for the most part is authentic italian style. I had this Buca de Nero. Pictured and was perfect al dente, wonderful oils of chili and olive, fragranced with garlic and chili flake anchovies, delicious. Also on our check was the trout, served with sauteed spinach or escarole i forget, but was flavorful and fresh, tasted better. The waiter was very very attentive. Its pretty loud despite it having more of an upscale menu and pricing, but hey its italian🤷🏿♂️. Goat-cheese cheesecake for dessert with macerated berries pure greatness. Im a professional chef and the menu is good and the cooks do a great.job, there is a menu option to tip them called *buy the kitchen a round of beer*, it just includes special tip for them, i recommend doing it as you will taste they deserve it. Great service, hostess did her share as well helping to flip tables and was freindly and descriptive, she watched the floor like a hawk more liken to an assistant manager. Nice custom strong cocktails as well Good spot away from cliche vegas. I highly recommend.
Sharon Yang
the exact kind of lunch i was looking for. unbelievable quality for the price. had the prosciutto (super fatty) and brie (luscious) salad while my boyfriend opted for pizza. but honestly the highlight was the sourdough bread - the hype is real. would swim in the olive oil it came with. loved that the plateware is made by a local ceramicist !
Gary Cornelison
So amazing!! Found this place on a walk about. Vegas has amazing Italian food but this has got to be the best!
Ouns Lateef
Of I had one word to describe this place it would be WOW. I dream about the day I get to go back.
Ziggy Hasan
Came here for breakfast before heading to the airport. First off, excellent and friendly customer service. Got the sourdough bread (note, this is half a loaf of bread, which isn't noted on the menu). It was really really good and the provided butter and oil was perfect.
I got the brunch pizza and man it hit the spot. Crisp, light, tasty, decent char, great sauce, good spice. 👌
Will 100% come here the next time I'm in Vegas.
Roame Yo!
Excellent! You know how in movies people gesticulate wildly and kiss their fingers when eating Italian food? I found out why. And if like me, you've no plans to visit Italy soon, then here's where you'll find food so good you'll easily imagine what it's like to meander around Conque Terre or the Colosseum or any of Italy's cultural landmarks.
Yep, it's really that good. From the house-made bread that looked, smelled, and tasted like it jumped straight from the oven to your table, to the spices and taste of the main dish... I had the pan roasted Mary's chicken (see attached image). I don't know who Mary was or what she did, but this has got to be in place of a military salute or something.
Athan Rebelos
Oh my God, this restaurant is so good, and it's a fantastic value: excellent service, delicious, freshly made pasta, risotto, and meatballs. You must have dinner here. You must.
Dustin Jones
Went for dinner. The vibe was good, recommend doing a reservation as would have had to wait 15-20 minutes on a Monday for a table around 8pm, assume busier around weekend.
For food, everything was pretty good. I highly recommend the house ground Polenta, wow, that was good. Cauliflower was good also. Pasta and Risotto have had better in Vegas But was good. Looking forward to trying some other things on menu when go back.
Also, not much parking, just FYI. If you see a spot, take it.
Robert Kjemhus
Appetizer, dinner, cocktail, dessert and service were top notch. Highly recommend
seth W
The food, drinks, bread are amazing. Anchovies butter was so good
Bahman Bandari
Definitely good food which is recommended but it's quite loud during busy times that makes it quite hard to talk. In our case two groups celebrating were not considerate of anyone else in the restaurant.
Lillie Lawrence
They accommodated every single person and we had 14 people! Mitchell was an incredible server. He made my birthday amazing.
Heli Kimhi
Great experience. We set at the bar. Excellent service! Nice wines selection. The food was good
Levente Nagy
By far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. I honestly couldn't recommend the pasta more. Bread was heavenly, we ate it before I could snap a picture.
Nikita Garman
So good! Everything was delicious, except the yuzu tart, but that could have been just me. Not sure if I don't like huckleberries, or just don't like those huckleberries, but they were vinegar-y. The tart itself was tasty, as was all the other food.
J Otero
So so good! The flatware and textiles are made locally specifically for this restaurant, which is pretty neat. Must get the biscuits with prosciutto and fontina & pesto ricotta!
Mick Levin
OFF-STRIP GEM!!! Good food, decent price. Located off the strip with a good menu and affordable food and drinks, this Italian eatery eschews the glitz for a good menu and good service. I highly recommend it!
Damon Galt
Great food, service, cocktails, and atmosphere. Chill, unpretentious, but delightful. It hits everything you need, and reasonable prices.
Jim Hallers
Leave the strip behind and take a quick Uber to one of the best casual yet upscale Italian restaurants in Vegas. You won't be disappointed. Wines by the glass for $9 white / $10 red really compliment your meal.
Tonya Hunter
Always a great experience. Food is always phenomenal as is the service. This is our go to brunch spot!
Judy Hsiung
Had to get corn agnolotti!! That was our favorite dish out of all. We also got carparccio and octopus. The carparccio was good, octopus was okay.
Kirsten Staley
One of our favorite places to eat and drink when we're in Vegas. We first saw them on DDD and they have lived up to all of our Flavortown expectations. We've eaten here at least 4 times. The bread is amazing but so are the entrees and the wine list. Can't wait to go back on our next trip or extended layover.
Vlad
The place should be extremely popular (I've never been there before). We were not able to check the cuisine ourselves since all tables were already reserved. We were told to come in three hours. I'll reserve a table in advance next time.
Dave Souza
The wait staff and everyone else was phenomenal! The food was phenomenal! Definitely going back the next time we are in time!
Shelley Brooks
Food is Most Excellent! Bartenders are Fantastic!
Atmosphere is energetic!
Hostess is extremely rude & unwelcoming!
Christian Gould
Chef owned and wonderful. Great bar and casual but knowledgeable service.
Ross Xavier
Cute atmosphere, friendly staff .. creative drinks.. food is ok... either way too much pepper or too salty... gets busy in the evenings, not sure if it is worth the wait.
Ramon Morato
I ordered a chic pesto sandwich which was very flavorful and well presented. Unfortunately, our food took a long time to come. It sat on the counter for over 10 min so by the time we got it, it had cooled off.
Daisy Johnson
We went at the suggestion of a friend, and wow, am I glad she pointed us that way!! It's tastefully decorated, and the open kitchen is a bustle of activity. Our server was knowledgeable and her suggestions were spot on. I had polenta with garlic shrimp, and it was delightful. Can't tell you what the rest of my party had, I was way too into my meal. I feel like I stumbled on a well kept secret in the Arts section just outside of downtown.
Alishah Jamal (AJ)
5/5 absolutely fantastic Italian food. I've backpacked all over Italy and this is as good, if not better than what you'd find there. We had the basil sourdough bread to start and the spaghetti and tagliettele pastas and wow wow wow. Such fresh pasta and fresh ingredients. The basil sauce that came with sourdough bread was the best I've ever had. The bread itself was delicious too. Total bill came out to $55. Highly recommend!!
Vincent Cosgrove
One of the better restaurants I have tried in the area. Excellent friendly service. Walking in without a reservation, the place was packed. we were sat quickly in 10 minutes. The hostesses were on their game. This was at 7 PM in the evening on a Tuesday. Food was over the top. the sourdough bread with the different accompaniments was truly tasty. Pasta dishes are fantastic and tender. Great interaction with our bartender Jonah, he knew the menu and recipes inside and out. And had quite a great display of mixology. Overall it is a five star experience truly enjoyed watching the open display kitchen in action. Don’t pass this restaurant up!!!!
Ryan Balfour
My wife and I came in for dinner tonight and even though we didn’t have a reservation they graciously found us a spot at the bar. We were waited on by Jonah and this guy was awesome. In conversation with him we got on the subject of local hotspots off the strip and Jonah went out of his way to write us a list of the local eateries that offer better food and value compared to the stuff on the strip. Jonah was super helpful and honestly some of the best service we’ve received in Vegas. I don’t want to forget that the food was amazing also. So worth getting off the strip. Really impressed and we would definitely recommend.
Sara Silberstang
Great restaurant! I visit every time I’m in Vegas! The dips and bread are phenomenal!
I will say - I absolutely love the black garlic pasta dish but the amount of salt that was used last time made it inedible. (I just won’t order this again or ask for no salt).
Jennifer K
Our lunch was our first restaurant experience since the pandemic and it was great. The staff were so friendly and recommended the perfect dishes for us. We enjoyed refreshing local craft beer before diving into the Radiatore with black garlic + lemon + cream + chives. If you don't get this you will miss one of the many great menu items served here. Please make your way to the Arts district to enjoy this wonderful spot. Then take a lap around to the fun antique stores.
Key Alcinnat
We have been here twice and the food is amazing!! I love getting fine dining in a more casual environment. My only criticism is that it can get very loud at times. As long as you can hear the people you have come to enjoy it with then it’s not a huge deal. Next time, we will try out the patio cause that seems like a whole vibe too!
The Big Eye Tuna Crudo and Mushroom Risotto are AMAZING!!
Jen Hicken
This is the second time I’ve been here. I reserve this place for special occasions (New Years, family in town) I talk about this place to all my employees as well. Today was disappointing after I talked the place up had reservations for 5:15 they let us in early!! The wait staff was awesome! We ordered after changing our minds about 20 times! I ordered the Market fish, my brother in law the chicken, sis in law spaghetti and girlfriend Ricotta Gnuda.. Mine came brother in law chicken came… then the table next to us received the other 2 meals! They didn’t refuse it!! They didn’t even order it but started eating our food! I’m the person that won’t eat until everyone has their plate. We understand mix ups it happens… we were fine with it. UNTIL the manager and three other employees came and apologized to the table next to us that received OUR FOOD! While we waited 20 minutes longer for them eating our food! Offered them a free dessert for the mix up! We were the ones that were messed up! We couldn’t have ate the dessert anyway because the food was AMAZING! But it was the point of getting the right table for compensation.
Brent Vaughan
Small dining room with really big flavor. Tried many items on the menu. All were very flavorful and well prepared/presented. Wait staff was friendly, courteous and well versed with the menu. A large variety of unique spirits available at the bar.
jade smyth
The manager was nice, our server was a little short and brash. It took over 30 minutes to get our appetizer of bread, and at the 1hour mark we decided to leave after not yet receiving 1 salad and 2 personal size pizzas. As I was paying for the bread and about to walk out the door, the server sent someone else to bring us our food. I was highly disappointed in the service and that's a shame because I came from out of state just to eat at Esther's kitchen per a referral. Other than my personal experience, it seems like a nice establishment.
Ramya Rao
Food looked great and tasted great. However staff should be more friendly.
Melissa Knighton
Unpretentious, off the strip and delicious! We visited early as a preconcert meal and shared half a loaf of sourdough bread, nduja butter spread (spicy salami with chili oil), Mary's chicken and the tortellini. Everything was amazing, cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The server was attentive but not overbearing, offering suggestions and guidance as asked for. The place is quite small and noisy and tables are close together but the food is so good you won't be bothered by those facts. Try it, you will be glad you did!
Jennifer Burke
Go get the bread. Just go and do it. Honestly all I ever want is bread and cocktails. Service is okay. I've had one nice server and one that was a little pushy on the upsale.
DAVID SCHANHALS
One of the best meals we have had in a long time. We were there for a family dinner. So much food and it was all so good. I don't know what my favorite was but the goat was amazing and the polenta was perfect and so was the red snapper. Wait the arancini was so good as well. All of it was great. Thank you Esther's Kitchen.
Simon Waddington
Esther's is very popular. Don't expect to walk in on an evening without a reservation unless you're early or late or lucky. If it's in the cooler months you may get a seat outside but dress warm. I enjoyed the food - they have an good selection of Italian eats, the bread is very tasty, and my pasta dish very good. The only thing that disappointed me was the service was very slow. As it was we had guests in from our of town so there was plenty to talk about and we had an ample supply of appetizers to keep us busy until the mains arrived. But it backfired on Esther's because by the time we were done eating it was too late to consider desserts. One other thing - I know it's an Italian restaurant but it is in the middle of brewing district so I would have expected a few local beers for the non wine or cocktail drinkers.
Gabrielle Feigenson
Incredible food and lovely hospitality. 10/10 recommend if you're in town and definitely would go again. Family style is key for trying more things and make sure you try the homemade sourdough with spreads!
Darrytt James Asuncion
I’ve been here 4 times now and they knock it out the park every time. The food is delicious, the drinks are awesome, the service is incredible and the atmosphere is great. If you’re looking for great Italian food in a not TOO fancy environment, this is the place for you. It honestly doesn’t matter what you order, I’m quite sure you’ll love it!
Raquel Araujo
I can't believe I haven't written a review for Esther's kitchen. By far my favorite brunch outside the strip. Everything is really high quality and delicious.
I've been here a few times already and they change their menu based on the availability of the product. The service is very good. One time our food was just taking too long. The server took note of it and proactively offered us a salad and a drink on the house. It was such a classy gesture.
Jon M.
Best meal in Vegas hands down. Chris was very knowledgeable about the menu and we had the burrata with our sourdough loaf. For lunch we split the chicken Parm sandwich and an order of spaghetti. Both were amazing! We will definitely be back to Esther's Kitchen.
Ionic Stormus
What a great find. I stumbled on this place, and realized I got lucky that I was by myself, since they were pretty full and had reservations coming in . The hostess was nice, saying she could seat me but needed my two top in an hour, I happily agreed. The pancakes with homemade syrup were fantastic. Light and fluffy. The side of bacon was thick cut. The coffee was just right, not trying to be anything but good drip coffee. The service was great. Atmosphere, is upscale diner-ish, with a boutique feel and laid-back. Great place for brunch or after a night on the town, but you'll probably need reservations. I went at 11 on a Saturday and the counter space which looks like it substitutes as a bar was pretty full too.
Leonardo DiRusso
Dinner was incredible. Delicious bread with spreads to start, and an incredible Calabrian Octopus Stew for dinner. The stew was one of the better things I have had the pleasure of eating. Our server was very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu all the way down to preparations, and gave some fantastic recommendations to my family and myself.
Anna Dunaeva
Great local restaurant. We’re visiting Las Vegas and decided to have brunch at Ester’s. We didn’t have a reservation, but we arrived at opening and were seated promptly. Food was good, they definitely know baking as their sourdough bread and biscuit were delicious. The only reason I’m giving 4 starts instead of 5, is because they don’t have an espresso machine! This place is claimed to be an Italian restaurant…no espresso in an Italian place? I was truly disappointed. The regular coffee was quite watered down to my liking. That was the only drawback, great place otherwise!
Jared Dye
Esther's Kitchen never disappoints! This was one of the 1st restaurants my wife and I ate at when we moved to Las Vegas 3 years ago. We continue to come back often and every time I'm blown away at the quality and uniqueness of the food here. Best Italian in the city, hands down.
Hayley
Everything here was amazing. Had the fresh bread, beat salad, and rigatoni. The staff was awesome and the food tasted phenomenal!
Carole Cornelius
Such a great place! First time here. We wanted something unique and off the strip while visiting and this place did not disappoint at all!
Service was INCREDIBLE! Adam is probably the best server we’ve ever had. He is knowledgeable about the menu, but most importantly, he is passionate about food - which is a difference maker for a patron trying to decide on which dish to order.
The bread with spreads is a great starter with wine. We really enjoyed the Cambozola and Anchovy Butter spreads. For dinner we had the Ricotta Cavatelli and the Carrot Agnolotti. Both were delicious!!! Unique flavors and perfectly sized portions. (My only feedback to the chef would be to reduce the salt on the Agnolotti.) All in all a five star restaurant! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Vegas! We will be back!
Rovenna Yakubov
So delicious!!!! Amazing and unique Italian food. Squid ink pasta, rabbit agnolotti and apps were excellent, as well as the wine pairing recommendation made to me. The carbonara was actually a bit disappointing honestly. Quite salty and not much flavor. I think the takeaway is avoid the basic dishes and explore the interesting things on the menu and you won't be disappointed!
Chris Rogus
Esther's Kitchen is phenomenal. All the food is exceptional, and the cocktails are also lovely. The Rose Colored Glasses was especially enjoyable, as was the goat on polenta!
Jennifer L
Wow. What a food experience. I was nervous at first because everything sounded so different from my standard fare, but it was AmAzInG. I was full and sad I couldn’t keep eating. The pizza really wowed me!
Star Lopez
A Lot of bread options, wish server would have suggested a different option unless they thought we were all about the carbs. Lol
Krystal Souza
The place was amazing. We had our anniversary dinner there and the staff couldn't have done anymore to make our evening more special.
Guerlins Oberson
This place is the best!!!!!! From the moment I got there have been taking great care of my party. I accidentally set my reservation on the wrong date, but Maggie was able to accommodate us. Mitchell, our waiter, provided exemplary services. Top too is all of James, the owner/head chef, is the friendliest person in this place. Everything rises and falls on leadership, and boy did he set a great example!!!! I highly recommend this place to all. Also, best Caesar salad I've ever had.
Chris
Amazing fresh bread, butters, and pastas. Top notch quality food and dining experience
Chris Hoogeveen
Best dining in Las Vegas. We go here all the time and never been disappointed! The bread is excellent. Brunch today was the best!
Leslie Rittenberg
Took whole family to get away from strip. Cool new area with some breweries around. Food was awesome, way better than anything on strip with low profile atmosphere. Will go back when back in town.
Castille Ritter
Phenomenal. The first time we came here he happened upon it after a show downtown, now it's my favorite spot in town. Cocktails are amazing, great wine list, homemade bread and pasta were out of this world. Lobe the seasonal menu, and the staff are always friendly and on it.
Maritza Garcia
First time. Food was good. They didn’t have ketchup or hot sauce for brunch. Their homemade hot sauce tasted like oil and not a hit of spice.
Mike Axtman
Esther's kitchen had great pasta. Amatriciana and lamb with mint bolognese were very good. The pizza was simply amazing. Unfortunately, our bread was a bit raw in the middle and the service was a little slow.
The pizza was complimentary because they forgot to add it to our order. Because of that I can't give 5 stars.
Jhonno Bruce
Absolutely fantastic, fresh, and house made dishes. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
Shaun Steckley
Wow good. Amazing pasta dishes. Meatballs are phenomenal. Decent craft selection. We'll be back.
Jonathan Tso (JT)
My favorite Italian spot in town! Seasonal, fresh ingredients combined to make some of the best pasta in Vegas! Book reservation on Resy if you can snag one, or book in advance bc this place gets packed! Def order the bread service, so worth it! 🍞
Joan Morisky
Great food and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. Had excellent cacia de pepe and their sourdough bread was excellent!
Lindsay Fritsch
One of the best dining experiences in this city. Be sure to step out of your comfort zone when ordering - you truly can't go wrong with any of their menu items. Service is also outstanding. This is the spot for impressing friends, romantic date nights and food that feeds your soul in general. Make a reservation in advance though, walking in can be tricky due to their sheer excellence. An absolute must for anyone who considers themselves a foodie.
Jamie Huang
Most defiantly come here and eat if you ever visit Vegas! You won’t be disappointed! Wish they had one in Texas I would totally invest in the restaurant!
Heather Leslie
Wow! What a great find! I got an SPF 45 rum cocktail with carrot juice and the Verde Linguine, both were delicious. Highly recommend reservations!
Marius Lenze
Amazing. Very well crafted food in reasonable, non-American sizes! Pizza margherita and carbonara we’re delicious and made with lots of love!
Angelo Rauseo
The restaurant has a modern style and it is inspired by traditional Italian cuisine. There is a mix of rich meat and fresh flavours. The pasta is home made and the Carbonara (recommended) is made with proper Guanciale, and not bacon or pancetta. To close the dinner, the selection of amaros and other Italian digestives is impressive. Well done!
Leslie
Spectacular brunch in the heart of Downtown!
I was treated to a most amazing brunch, with a dear friend today. My first time to Esther's Kitchen and it was a success!
To start, the staff was incredibly friendly, offering menu suggestions, along with lots of smiles. The Saturday morning bustle & buzz filled the busy dining room, and since we failed to make reservations, we were offered a seat at the bar & were seated almost immediately. Within minutes, we were enjoying our libations... An on-tap IPA brew from Atomic Brewery, which is a 5min walk from Esther's; and a glass of Honey Gin with a house-made Limoncello, served with a chunk of crisp honeycomb and a twist of lemon. Perfect for sipping throughout the meal.
We opted to start with the biscuits... Heavenly warm herb biscuits with an herbed butter, topped in chives... An excellent start to our meal. Next, he had a the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, which was a good sized portion, accompanied with a fresh microgreen salad. I had trouble deciding, however with a bit of help from the bartender, I ended up getting the Bread Pudding French Toast along with a side of bacon. Let me tell you... This French Toast was ridiculous!! Think of your favorite French Toast & then kick it up about 10 notches. A generous portion of freshly made bread pudding, paired with a side of bacon. The salty & savory combo, literally made me do a shimmy in my seat. Yep! This meal warranted the dance... (you know the one)
I'll be back!
Katie Hill
One of the best meals we’ve ever had. It was our anniversary and they truly went out of their way to make us feel special. We’re already dreaming of coming back for more pasta. Thank you Esther’s!!!
Daryl K. Jones-Ascension 360 Business Consultants
Great atmosphere, food and service. Located in the heart of the Arts District, Esther's Kitchen is a vibe in itself. Go see the bar mgr. Tucker. He'll take great care of you
rogan B
Some of the best food ive had in my life. Ill be back the next time im in vegas.
Silvia Tipsword
Everything we ordered was over the top fantastic! Actually received complimentary dessert for waiting for our food a tiny bit!
Kitchen Mgr was on it! Everything came out looking and tasting PERFECT!
Highly recommended 👌
Christine Bell
Always a phenomenal experience. The food is so amazing and the service is top notch.
Rattanakthida Sihock
This place has the best pizza. All of us love the foods and service. We definitely will be back whenver we visit LV.
Shadi Azar
Wow wow wow. My first wife’s name is Esther so I had to bring her after reading about it. Did not disappoint. I feel like Italian food is totally overlooked and the flavors that came out of these dishes made me want to shout. Literally.
Alexandria N.
Food was delicious and you can definitely tell it was made from scratch. The atmosphere was nice and the music selection was right up my alley. I had the spaghetti with out meatballs. Next time I'll definitely go for the meatball. Great wine and cocktail selection. A nice variety.
abigail swidergal
Get the cauliflower!!! It's almost TOO good. The crafted cocktails are phenomenal too! Definitely would recommend.
Emily Moon
Delicious food, great ambiance, superb service. What more could I ask for?? Will be back again and again.
MF Outdoors
Second visit was even better. Modern Italian in the Arts district, downtown Las Vegas. Service was great and so was the food. Definitely a hipster place!!
Jennifer Nelson
The service was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful.
Angela Moore
This was one of the finest dining experiences I’ve had. I’ve eaten all over the world and this was a wonderful find! Gatsby made our choices easy and was very attentive. Chef Pedro came to the table and we raved at the amazing, fresh, beautiful and delicious foods we ate. The sourdough bread, homemade pasta, desserts and creative cocktails were over the top! Thank you for an unforgettable evening!
Pamela Fowler
The experience at Esther's kitchen was fantastic! Great service, food and drinks.
chad
I could eat here everyday if I lived in town. Service was perfect at the bar. The homemade bread was as good as any bread I've ever had and the dips were perfect, all 3. Pasta and salad also perfectly executed. Just a really good vibe to the whole place, what a treasure.
Emily D
I’ll try and keep it brief!!! This place was absolutely wonderful and I could write on and on! The food was superb. They have a rotating menu based off the season and what’s being grown. They list their team members (owner, waiters, chefs) on the menu which is super cool. As well as their growers!!! LOVE that you know where your food is coming from and who’s serving you. I got the bacon tortellini with crab and it was divine. Also, DO get the sourdough with the ricotta as a starter. You will not regret it!!! Their small touches in decoration and ambiance are wonderful. The plates and dish wear were beautiful and fit the style. Walked away extremely satisfied with my drink and food but also the experience as a whole.
Chris
Bread here was amazing! We did the chefs choice which provides so many types of spreads that you are bound to like something!
Jake W
This place is great if you like pasta. Just make sure you make a reservation as it is a very popular place
Steve Rubalcava
Every appetizer and entree was delicious and exquisitely prepared. They definitely under charge for the quality of food that is presented. They service was equally on point. They are attentive without being in the way. Inside dining is okay if you don't mind loud music, and the patio is not recommended for summer time late afternoons as the Sun moves to keep things too hot for comfort.
Matthew Kluk
What can I say? My wife and I enjoyed everything about this spot. The drinks were awesome and I would go there just for those. The food was optimal and delicious. Best homemade pasta I've ever had. We will be back. A downtown art district gem indeed!!!
Jazzlyn K.
The food the service and the hottie in the top hat really made my work get together more bearable
Jade
Amazing italian food , definitely worth it , our server Adam was super awesome
miguel chang
Great place, the spaghetti is handmade, the presentation of the food is fabulous as well as the taste! the best dishes: 1.- smoked pappardelle / pork + porcini ragu / sherry vinegar / chives, 2.- lasagnette nero / lobster / fennel / lemon / truffle and do not forget to try the antipasti: housemade sourdough levain bread with butter
with anchovy garlic, the best !!!
Bradley Hanstad
One of the best dining experiences of my life. It was with the right person which does make all the difference, but the staff was lovely, the various food options were perfect and the butterscotch dessert was out of this world.
Can be super busy, but worth the wait!
Mary Phalen
The atmosphere carries fresh colors with a smoked sage aroma. Try the lavender infused gin with lemonade to start. From a carbonara connoisseur, this spin is highly recommended, with a thick sauce and peas.
Kelly Jo Brandt
What a lovely date night while visiting in Las Vegas.
The Sourdough to start the meal is an absolute must! I personally bake and was blown away at how great the crust was while still the sourdough chewy, richness inside - perfectly paired with butter-oil and other adders.
We got the Gnudi (light Parmesan amazing clouds with beets and tomatillo sauce - don’t knock it until you try it) and the Bucatini (lightly spicy and perfectly aldente noodles).
We had great service. Originally made the reservation for 3 but they easily accommodated to only 2. Gave us time to think and space out meal. Great service.
Highly recommend after a day of beer drinking in the Arts District.
Sam Bennett
My wife and I got married in Vegas and had Esther's kitchen recommended to us by our photographer as we had requested "somewhere locals would eat, with good food and chill atmosphere".
Esther's kitchen did not disappoint. We consider ourselves foodies and have eaten in some great restaurants all over Europe in the past 12 months and this restaurant is easily in the top 3.
We also left our marriage certificate and some photos on the table and didn't realise until a couple of days later. On calling the restaurant they have kept them and arranged for them to be returned.
Food was outstanding, service was outstanding. Would recommend and return for food if we return to Vegas. Beat any food on the strip.
Alan Martin
Esther's is every bit as excellent as other reviews have stated. Over 2 days I ate here for breakfast, dinner and brunch. The food and drinks are terrific but what elevates Esther's to the next level is the friendliness and enthusiasm of the people who make it work. J behind the bar two of my 3 visits was effortlessly charming and super professional as a bartender. They typify what makes Esther's special. Less than a miles walk from Downtown this really should be on your list of places to visit when in Las Vegas. The value for money is worth the walk alone.
Emma Morris
Loved it! What can I say, I really do find great restaurants for both me and my hubby. We enjoyed everything and I would have to say it is worth every penny. I will definitely come back when the opportunity presents itself!
patrick kenna
Overall the food is too heavily seasoned and lacks balance.
The bread with burrata was awesome.
Had the cauliflower appetizer. Was greasy, too salty and desperately needed lemon or vinegar.
For entrees my group ordered the carrot agnolotti, the mafaldine nero, the mushroom risotto, and the spaghettoni.
-The agnolotti was great. Too sweet for me but its a carrot puree filling so that is expected.
-The mafaldine nero was overpowered by truffle
-The mushroom risotto was pretty good, but tasted too much like reduced vinegar (the mushroom puree?)
-the spaghettoni had faaar too much rendered fat. I realize its a “classic” recipe but it was over the top rich with nothing else on the plate offering a respite from overwhelming pork flavor and fat.
The crepe cake was nice, not overly sweet and classically pairs chocolate, cherry and almond.
Jim Pierson
If you like scratch kitchen restaurants, then this is for you! We sat at the bar and the bartender was super informative and had an obvious passion for his job. We watched him turn out lots of great looking drinks.
We ordered one of the daily specials which included duck confit and over of their breads with pureed cannelli beans. Both were very savory. We'll be back to order from the dinner menu.
Sparrow Goodfellow
Food was great, Service was very friendly, atmosphere was fun. it was busy. Expect to make reservations and spend at least an hour. We came late on a Sunday night and there was difficulty to adjust reservations for 2 into reservations for 4.... But they did. Part of me loved how they were great and the food was fresh and delicious bread. I would come again.

Fantastic food and service. I love their dinnerware. Can’t wait to see what Chef does next!

Delicious food and awesome service. Try the sourdough bread with the assortment of dips. The fried cauliflower were delicious as well. Tried majority of the pastas since we were a party of 10, all were exquisite!! Our server Gatsby was very sweet and made our overall dining experience an incredible one.

You won't go wrong by visiting this place. Delicious food from fresh ingredients; the menu changes depending on what is in season. Don't want to oversell; some things were just OK, but some were amazing and nothing was bad. Gets crowded, consider a reservation. This has become a Vegas institution!

Delicious bread and pizza crust. Inventive, unique menu. Cocktail menu reads like poetry (although I don’t like cocktails so I did not try them). Serving dishes beautifully and locally made. Great ambiance!
