This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been in. Prices are affordable for the amount of food and overall the exquisite quality of the dishes. My husband and I are extremely impressed with the location, as it is incredibly nice and elegant. The hospitality was phenomenal. The experience was amazing and we felt extremely good enjoying our date night. Fatima was extremely helpful guiding us through the menu and recommending things to eat. She was fantastic. Overall everyone was super nice. The owner has done a phenomenal job. Hands down one of the best dinners we have ever had. Mr. Aziz is a kind man and we wish him all the success in the world!

This place is so serene and beautiful! It’s peaceful and amazing service! Ali C goes above and beyond to Accommodate your order and comfort. He makes sure you are fully satisfied with everything. The food always comes out fresh and so beautifully presented. Great tasting food! After a long day at work this place is the perfect getaway. The ambiance will take you to another place and time.

Excellent food. Definitely fine dining. Their waiters are super attentive and the owner, Aziz Noorani bhai, himself is a very courteous gentleman and treats his guests with tremendous respect. We recently had up to 50 family members attend a birthday celebration at Lasbela. The brunch menu was so extensive, from the starters to the dessert, the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10

Excellent food and customer service. Very clean with good covid protocols. We got Chicken Karai, Reshmi Kabab, Chicken Charga, Butter and Garlic Naan. Everything taste like you are having it in Pakistan. The best thing was they were not overly salty or spicy. Tanaz was extremely courteous and polite. I would highly recommend this place.

The eating experience felt royal. Servers were very attentive and the manager checked up on our table regularly. From the drinks to the desert, everything was layered perfectly with a balance of flavours, beautiful textures and multiple types of crispy naan. This would be a great spot for both, people recently introduced to the cuisine, or someone who is born and raised in it.

For the longest, craving Pakistani food in the Houston area meant going to "another" restaurant that is more popular due to word of mouth. I was sure that Houston had more to offer. So a quick Google search and there I was - at Lasbela with my family for a Sunday Lunch. First of all, what a welcoming place! The staff was so friendly and took care of us very well. The interior is nicely decorated. It wasn't crowded and we thoroughly enjoyed the setting. The food was excellent. We didn't order a whole bunch of things but whatever we got, tasted very well. Masala and Karak chai were great. Sangam kebabs, Yakhni Pullao, and desserts (Ras Malai and Dilbahar Ananas) were tasty. In my daughter's opinion, they had one of the best mango lassi she's had. I'm glad I found a new spot for Pakistani cuisine. I will definitely be back for more.

Lasbela is the best (and only) fine dining Pak restaurant in Houston. While Houston is full of Pak or desi restaurants offering a wide range of culinary and customer service experience, the experience at Lasbela is like non other. We went there on January 11, 2022 and were greeted by our host Ali Murtaza. He provided us with the best customer service experience we have ever had at a desi restaurant. The ambiance, décor, and service were impeccable. We ordered Patakha Chicken, Fish and Chips, and Lychee Lemonade as appetizers. The presentation of food was unlike we had ever seen at other desi restaurants. The taste was just perfect. For the main course we had Mutton Chops, Chicken Malai Boti, and Karahi with Kalongi and Sesame Seed Naans. To top it all off we had Kashmiri Chai. Truly an amazing experience. Hats off to Ali Murtaza and also Ayesha, the owner Mr. Aziz and the chef.

We love Pakistani food so went to Lasbela to try it. It was a very beautiful, clean, serene place with amazing service. The owners Aziz bhai and Ali bhai were very hospitable and humble gentlemen. They and the waiters checked on us regularly. They knew my husband so they didn’t even bill us and said “ you are our guests and the food is from us” we really appreciate their hospitality and generosity.They were going above and beyond to provide the best customer service.We loved all the food we tried and the drink, everything was super delicious. We are really impressed and would recommend this place. 😊

I'm gonna start off with saying if you haven't gone to this restaurant you're missing out!! I think Lasbela Restaurant is far most the amazing restaurant with the tremendous services and scrumptious food!!! The Ambiance and the customer service was on Point! ALI MURTAZA who's the floor manager and he was actually taking care of us personally and making sure we were comfortable and getting everything that we needed! I have never had this experience anywhere else!! We ordered their famous Murgh Karhai Chicken and oh my, it was Rich and creamy chicken with the best taste on earth and so was their mutton Karhai!! Do try their bihri kabobs you'll actually feel that you're sitting In Pakistan eating the food there, that's how good it was and lastly their chocolate shake and Mango Monster Margarita was scrumptious definitely will order again!! Please go check them out otherwise you guys will be missing out big time!!

This Pakistani restaurant is a gem in Sugarland and if you’re looking to be wowed with beautiful ambiance, amazing taste and food presentation, this place is it! We ordered the Lasbela Sangam Kebab, Murgh Badami Qorma and Garlic Naan. All of it was delicious and the Murgh Badami Qorma was not too spicy for my wife. We ended the meal with some good Ghulab Jaman and Chai Tea. Their iced flavored drinks are refreshing too. Lastly, the service was great and our waiter Ali C. was very friendly and attentive. Chef Faisal was very hospitable and valued our feedback, coming to our table ensuring the food was good. I’m definitely coming back to try the other dishes!

I am adding my comments after my second visit, I don’t know how others react that this restaurant they added 18% service charges in the bill without telling to the customers and still expecting to get tip too. We were only 4 but normally others they add something extra when the guests are 5 or more. Not worth to visit in future!!! It’s a very first time that we visited Lasbela Restaurant. it’s a unique name, a coastal district of Balochistan province in Pakistan. We enjoyed as usual Lahori Fish and Mutton Karahi signature dish by Lasbela, I enjoyed with different flavor of Masala but my companion “my HumZulf” as per his opinion it’s different but I should consider on top from any other Halal restaurants which I enjoyed here. Lahori Fish was just normal like other my 2 top restaurants but yes Naan was special too. There are many many Halal restaurants but only few have good feel for the naan. We enjoyed their Masala tea that was good too. Some other day we will try their other dishes too. Please visit here and enjoy their food, it’s my in top 3 favorite restaurants.

We ordered chicken karhai, makhni handi, fish, chargha and biryani. Everything was delicious. However the best of all was unanimously voted among us 9 people was the white makhni handi! It was definitely the best! Prices are also not as bad as I thought it would be. Ordered 5 dishes with naan’s and the bill was around $130 (no drinks)

We were contemplating about going to our regular place and got a recommendation from family friend to try out this place and I am glad we did! Food: 5 star unmatchable! Ambience: elegant decor and regal! service: shortest and quickest, from make to order and serving on table! Staff: courteous and friendly! We tried the dishes from Manager Ayesha, who had the most pleasant and charming smile on face! Their patakha chicken from appetizer was very scrumptious that the deep after taste was still in mouth till we had to order another one to figure out what was in the plate we just had!!! The malai boti was so soft, tendered and juicy it just immensely dissolved leaving immersed taste alerting neural sensors of lost taste by eating mediocre desi food from restaurants for years, this is solid Pakistani traditional food made fresh cook to table!! Chops and Bihari boti had its elegant sizzling style and captivating taste that I did not even get down to Nihari and Lahori Pulao! At a point we requested to see the Chef! About Chef: Mr. Faisal came down to our table , very friendly and knowledgeable in his area of expertise explaining purpose and value as master chef for years! His potent style kept us engaged! I wish them to keep up the higher value and taste as I would keep coming back!!

One of the best Pakistani food in the whole of US. Cannot go wrong if you want to have a true Pakistani Ambience. Feels like you are eating at a restaurant in Karachi. The staff was great. Lasbela it is!! We went to this restaurant for a chai and dessert bites. Tried their Gajar k Halwa (Recommended by our Server Tanaz) and Gulab Jaman. Both Desserts were really good. Gajar Ka halwa had very authentic taste. Server was really sweet. The owner also came to make sure that we are served and satisfied with the service.

We went there and didn’t realize it was jazz night but we were pleasantly surprised at the performers and the buffet. The buffet was warm and filled with many options to choose from. The host and Ali was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and we will definitely come back to this restaurant.

My hairdresser from Pakistan recommended this place and omg the food is amazing I had the best biryani, best naan (you can ask for it crispy if you want), best samosas and kabob in this place. Good atmosphere and staff is very friendly and attentive. This is a good place to bring someone that hasn’t had Pakistani food before. Menu is a little confusing because they have unique names and some items don’t have a description. Staff will provide good recommendations. The mutton karahi tasted great and so did the biryani.

First of all, let me start this review by saying this place was beyond my expectations. The ambiance, service, and food were all exceptional. We had the Chicken Malai Handi (which is a must try for everyone) as well as their kebabs and Peshawari Goat Karhai... And we were left licking our fingers... Our server Raza, who was also the manager I believe, recommended all the dishes and we were very pleased with everything. We also had the pleasure to chat with the owner, Aziz Bhai, who was also extremely polite. Next time we go, I want to try their Mandi, which is named something different on the menu, but you have to give them a 24 hour advanced notice in order for them to prepare the dish. A definite must try restaurant for anyone looking for upscale Pakistani food and a serene ambiance. Thank you Raza for your great service and recommendations!!

Loved the food! We went before Christmas during lunch time. The best Balochi mutton karhai we ever had in Texas! Chilman biryani and tikka boti was delicious! Spices were spot on! My friends and I went to Las bella on Feb 5th 2022 evening for my 44th birthday celebration!! yummy food, amazing customer service, all staff were really nice including the owner of the place. this place really has ambience and i highly recommend this place if ur looking to have a good time and yummy food. Best desi food in Houston! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We have been here three times and had an amazing experience each time. The owner and staff are super friendly and their service is really good. They even gave me a complimentary drink that wasn’t on the menu. Let me begin with THE BEST KARAI (LASBELLA CHICKEN KARAI) you can get in whole wide HOUSTON! It was so good that i forgot to take a picture but by the end of it i had my naan all rolled up in the actual serving karai dish! 👌🏽🤩♥️ The staff was conversational, welcoming, responsive and observant!! So was the owner ♥️🥹 Gajar Halwa was amazing!! The restaurant pricing maybe above the average (for some people) but they settle it with their big quantities! Hands down the best Pakistani restaurants in Houston area. We have always been a fan of their food, service and ambiance but this time we booked a graduation event at Lasbela. They went above and beyond to ensure that the food was great and buffet was well set & regularly filled. I do not think any one can beat their service and hospitality in Houston. Ayesha made sure everything was according to the way we wanted and Aziz bhai was kind enough to accommodate our last minute requests as well. It was one of the best experiences for us and our guests. So being from wisconsin , I am always deprived of some good desi food due to lack of desi restaurants. Luckily I got a chance to come to Houston , soughted as an opportunity to satisfy my appetite 😂. I was invited to an iftar party at Lasbela and was blown away by the delicious food, extremely competent and happy staff (including the waitress that was walking around with a great flood light helping people take photos!). I need to come back at least a dozen more times to taste all the different food to give specific recommendations. I really loved the tempura fried veggies and fish, the grilled meat, and the dessert table was outstanding. Looking forward to coming back for more tasty goodies with the family.

This is our second time at this absolutely amazing restaurant. Everything is top notch. From the food, to the service, all at a very decent price. Mango lassi is huge and the dessert is very tasty. Ali C was an amazing server. I come here with my in-laws for dinner multiple times and they’ve never disappoint. Ali C came by our table multiple times to ask if the food was good, refilled our drinks and even gave me an extra cup of chai after the kitchen had closed and I am very grateful for it. My friend and I had lunch here today. What a great experience. The décor is tasteful and soothing. It's a good place to have a quiet conversation. Our waitress, Tanaz, was very attentive and made wonderful recommendations for ordering as this was our first time to eat Pakistani cuisine. We ordered Sangam Kebab, Feta Cheese Salad and Palak Paneer. The portions were generous. Everything was delicious. We spent more for lunch then we expected but that was because we ordered WAY too much food.

Amazing service and wonderful food! We went for a family member’s birthday and they treated us as if we were family and gave us special and complimentary drinks! Birthday songs were played and everyone had a great time! We recommend the tawa chicken tikka and mutton karahi! The naan was so soft and fresh, our party of 8 enjoyed it a lot. Definitely coming back soon for the amazing food and great service. Mr. Aziz is so welcoming and treats us with warmth and kindness. The food was excellent. The love music was a little too loud. Maybe it was the table we were at. When we went the power failed so our experience was a little less than perfect. Also the staff seemed a little hurried. When we asked for recommendations the staff did not answer confidentially. Also a couple of the menu items were not available even though we went early in the evening which was disappointing.

Love this place. The food is excellent, the service is super welcoming and attentive (from the owner to our regular waiter Ali Charania), and it's nicely decorated. There's no rush to eat and leave, like at many other places. They put effort into having specials that aren't the same old dishes everyone else eats all the time. Some of our favorites are the yakhni pulao, goat chops, chapli kebab, shrimp karahi (special), and the white karahi. The beef short ribs (special) are also delicious, sort of Korean style cut, but with a Desi flavor. Try it!

The reviews don't lie. I work around the corner from here and it's beautiful here, the service is out of this world and the spice of the food is on point. $40 was enough food for 3 people. You can't beat the experience. Tanaz, also a wonderful server. It's been a long time since I've experienced both great food and great service. A must try!!!

I remember coming here earlier, last year, I believe, and did not end up writing a review, but I definitely wanted to write one this time. I am big on professionalism and I am happy to say that this establishment has great customer service and they bring the food out happily and promptly. They have a great setting that makes it actually feel like you're going out to eat, instead of just grabbing a quick bite. I love their white chicken karahi and the fresh bread (naan) that they give. The kalonji naan and garlic naan are fantastic. I think the prices are fair and I would definitely bring more family and friends here if I had the chance. The man who I believe is the owner even gave a light to someone to hold up while we took family pictures and I thought that was absolutely a great and memorable touch! They really know what they are doing here!

Lasbela Resturant Sugar Land Housten Texas is one of the best restaurant have ever been in. We found it extremely impressed with the location, as it is incredibly nice and elegant. The hospitality was phenomenal as its Owner Mr Aziz very kind,friendly and highly skilled person in catering and hotel management.Most interesting he is a graduated from karachi university and he got training from pearl continental and he lived in our neighbourhood Garden west karachi. Excellent food and excellent waiters….beautiful ambiance I wouldn’t go any other place if I had guest and special occasion like my Anniversary was the reason I went there. Heard allot about this place …was hard to get reservations but finally I got in today. They only reason I am not giving a 5 star is because some of the famous dishes were not available that I was looking forward to: chefs special chops and bbq quail….being such an excellent restaurant in quality of food and service. You can not be short on specialty dishes. Especially when you are always busy and prices are high compared to other restaurants but the quality and service is also allot better then allot of restaurants. Smiling and happy to help waiters 1 in particular that took our order and served us was “Reza”. Always smiling and accommodating quickly also a Hijabi sister ( I don’t catch her name ) was very courteous whenever I stopped for more sauce or naan …. I will continue to go here. Waiter did tell me that quail we have to order a day before which would be nice that they advertise so we know. Big portions of everything was worth every penny. 2nd visit Amazing food amazing ambience and Ms. Tanaz gave us outstanding service , so caring making sure we enjoy everything. Letting us know what dishes are really good. She also gave us free Ghulab jaman for free (as seen in pic) because it was my wife’s bday. Wonderful person ms tanaz very sweet sister with a caring smile and as we were taking pictures she brought a light holding it while we were taking pics. The service is very fast and the staff is so friendly, especially Ali who checked on us often to make sure we were enjoying the food and experience. The food was 10/10. I ordered the Hasan Zai mutton karahi with the garlic Naan and also the lasbela seekh kabobs! Definitely recommend all of those! And lastly, every Friday, they have live music which just adds to the amazing dining experience.

Where do I begin with…. If you have not been to Lasbela yet… you are missing out… it’s a great experience . The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Our server name was Sana and she was extremely nice and friendly. The Lasbela champ and balouchi bhuna gosht is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Every item we tried was delicious, unique taste, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. What I loved about this restaurant or my experience that Aziz bhai, the owner of the restaurant is present there at all times and ensure that the guests are having a good time and there are no issues such a humble person, and this lacks in so many restaurants. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

The best Pakistani restaurant I have ever eaten at. It is beautifully decorated. Service was excellent. Our server was Fatima and every suggestion she made was perfect. We ordered the Burns Road chicken wings, Black sesame naan, chicken muglai curry, Lasbela sangam kebab, traditional chai and the pink chai. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the pink chai! It comes with ground pistachios and almonds. So very good.

Had dinner here last night. Son and I are big fans too f Indian food but not familiar with Pakistani food. No worries though as the waitress was super helpful in assisting us through the menu. New Updated Review November 25th 2021. Lasbela restaurant never stop amazes us. Just had their thanksgiving buffet. We reserved the 5:30-7:00 dinner slot. We arrived at 5:35 and the staff greeted us with their friendly smile, and walked us to our reserved table. Within 10 minutes all guests arrived and Mr. Aziz opened the buffet. Great selection of salads, delicious n tender Turkey with mashed potatoes, mac n cheese. Mouth watering kebabs, lahori fish, karahee, bhuna gosht, pilaf, paya, qeema, tikka and bhindi masala. Oh, and then there was this table filled with sweet delectables, rabri kheer, gulab jamun, shahi tukre, bite size cheese cakes and caramel drizzled donut holes. We added their signature shikanjabeen and ended our feast with the karak doodh patti chai. The staff and mr aziz were on their toes and had their A game the whole time. Special kudos to mr. Aziz for arranging 3 different slots to accommodate every LASBELA lover :). **Felt sorry for the family of 10-12 who walked in the middle of the full capacity reserve event and weren't able to eat the delicious food. If we are able to eat with our family, it's a blessing. Be thankful. -‐ We went for a family dinner and was greeted by a friendly staff member Raza, who walk us to our table. Staff maintained the COVID SOPs. Owner himself walked up to each table and asked if anyone needed anything. Food tasted great. We ordered pilaf, murgh makhni, bihari kebabs, chargha and balochi bhuna gosht ( suggested by Raza). We loved all the food. For drinks we had shikanj e been which was very refreshing. For desserts we ordered gulab jamun, ras malai, and ice cream. I appreciated the team member Raza for offering kulfi to the girls ( on the house) as their ice cream machine wasnt working porperly. Strong tea to finish our meal. What an amazing time we had with our family, enjoyed their mouth watering and delicious food. Keep it up Lasbela. I would like to give this place 4 star for its exceptional customer service. Many folks like to know if one have a option to eat at Aga’s Restaurant, here is a breakdown for the experience. 1. If you love pure Desi Organic Pakistani Food this is place for you, but for more fusion style food will be Agas. 2 Food portion is bigger at Lasbela then Agas. 3. Prices are better at Lasbela for the food quality. 4. Lasbela they need to add more lights it’s bit darker and the music is bit loud. 5. Naan’s bread 🥖 is the best in town at Lasbela, in compare to any other Pakistani restaurants in Houston. 6. BBQ platter is missing at Lasbela, I will highly suggest them to add this to their menu for families to have more option without spending a lot. 7. Lasbela use heavily Ghee “Butter” it’s hard to enjoy it become its get heavy on the stomach. Overall, Lasbela is a different style of cooking and it’s worth trying it.

(Sep 10th 2021 update) My wife and I both booked Lasbela individually as a surprise for our wedding anniversary. She did it 2 days ahead.. and I panic called the same day.. lol. She booked 6:30pm and I had 7 pm.. #marriagegoals. If you haven't been to Lasbela, I'd say treat yourself with a visit. Aziz bhai is an excellent host, Ayesha knows the menu so well, if you don't know what to get.. she'll definitely get you the right recommendation. Then there is Raza for some comic relief..if he's serving you.. I love the Lasbela team.. I had 1) Samosa bites(chicken): Single wrap and light. it was crunchy and the chillies inside weren't overpowering spicy. 2)Makhmali malai boti this malai boti isn't diced in cubes. it was creamy and had that deep bbq flavor. you know what I mean.. some places have malai boti but it ends up tasting like frozen tofu.. not this. Very good bite. 3)Chilman Murgh Biryani the puff pastry acts as a flavor dome and easy to cut through. the Biryani was long grain.. you could smell the essence. it was medium heat.. you didn't chase for water after every bite.. it wasn't dowsed in food coloring not floating in oil (not pointing to anyone in particular). this passed day#2 reheat test as well. 4)Balouchi bhunna ghost This is a must have for my family. just love how tender the meat is.. the "wok hay" on this perfect.it calls for a doughy nan..and the nan I got went a bit crispy for me. none the less. I highly recommend this. if it's too hot.. try it with raita. 5)Tawa Keema Ginger was julienned, onions sweated nicely in the pan and the mince meat was rich. I tried it with naan, you might want to try it the traditional way with a puri paratha for the complete experience. 6)kids tender and fries /Mango lassi Kids loved the decor on the food.rice papad/vadam/khichia papad? I need to figure how to get these and make at home now. kids also got Mango lassi. its eye candy and light enough for kids to finish their meals along with the lassi. 7)Burg-e-gul/Lala Rukh drinks I preferred burg-e-gul over lala rukh. the rose in burg-e-gul was "rooh-afza" familiar, while lala-rukh got slightly bitter with lime and mint. I did take some togo and it was refreshing in the afternoon heat. Got me through yard work.. so it grew on me.. slowly.. I did order a lot! as everything is good here and I don't mind taking to go. Best time to reserve I'd say will be 6-7 to beat the dinner crowd. eat early.. there are health benefits 😀 (Feb 2021)Lasbela is a hallmark Pakistani restaurant in Houston. The service is top notch and the attention to detail is impeccable.We have been there multiple times and the quality is consistent. the food picture has detailed review on it. Our all time favorites are balochi bhunna gosh, sufiani biryani, and kebabs. Our kids love this place and when your kids love the food, you know you have hit gold. They had foam hand sanitizers on the table and the place is squeaky clean.

We had a private event here to celebrate the birth of my nephew. The owner was very cooperative to work with, making the occasion so much more enjoyable. There were about 80 people, and there was ample room for everyone to socialize and also be seated for our meal. We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally did. They did not disappoint! Food smelled so great that I started diving in before I got a chance to take pics of all the food. In short, "Oonchi Dukan, Munasib Pakwan". Undoubtedly, this place is emerging as the best fine-dining Pakistani restaurant in Houston. Building on his prior experience, the owner has put up a very modern, contemporary look to the place, also making it suitable for events. The service is fast & impressive. The Ajrak style jackets and matching masks worn by the staff look very professional. Staff are courteous and anticipate customer needs. I am not sure if we were served by Tanaz but from reading other comments, that could most likely be the case. The food was good but not impressive. Presentation gets full marks. As others have mentioned in comments, the food (Balochi ghost and Chapli Kabob) was served in less than 10 minutes. I confirmed from the staff that the meat etc. are prepared to be almost ready and then are basically just fried or sauted. Still, the taste was okay. But the AROMA was lacking. This is one aspect that needs improvement. There was less use of 🌶 and more of black pepper. Nonetheless, Naan and Lassi were perfect. Overall, a decent experience. Had a decebt chat with the owner at the end. He offered us complimentary dessert. Unfortunately, we didn't had time for that. The prices are bit on higher end. As this is a fine dining establishment, one will be disappointed if they come here expecting Dhaba-style taste and vibe.

Came here based on other reviews during a trip to Houston area. This place did not disappoint. The ambience is top notch. This is matched with level of service as well. The menu is very diverse and offers a range of options for every taste. The food arrived promptly and was very delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the mutton Karahi and the tandoori murgh boti. Would recommend to avoid the daal as it was not as delicious as rest of the food. The only downside is the 15% service charge added to the bill for din-in service. He delivered an exceptional service, helped us take plenty of pics for the occasion and gave us great recommendations from the menu. The food was delicious, fresh and super fast served. Also, the owner Aziz Noorani walked-up and greeted us at our table and ensured that a complimentary dessert was served alongside a birthday song that was played on the restaurant’s intercom for my mom. Lasbela is the best Pakistani restaurant in Houston - excellent food, service, and ambience. And now they have live music at certain times on the weekends. We ordered balochi bhuna gosht, murgh malai handi, sangam kabab, masala fries, tilwalay naans, lala rukh & leemu pani drinks, kashmiri chai, and dilbahar ananas - all cooked to perfection, fresh, and delicious. The owner Aziz Noorani greeted and checked on us occasionally with his gracious hospitality. Our waitress Tanaz and other waiters routinely checked on our status and delivered a prompt service with precision and superb customer service. The place is very clean, and has great ambience with modern and traditional decor, right amount of lights, colors, background music, etc. While we were there the violin, rabab, flute, and acoustic guitar were played separately by two excellent musicians which made the restaurant experience even more entertaining and unique. Their menu has a vast amount of dishes from different regions of Pakistan, some are specialties while others are mainstream. Pakistani cuisine is very diverse and unique, basically a blend of Indian and Afghan-Iranian influences. I strongly recommend this place, you wont be disappointed.

Just finished my first dine-in dinner with my family at Lasbela Restaurant & Catering. Incredibly, it was the first time I'd been there in person since quarantine began (though we routinely get it delivered). First time seeing Aziz Noorani (owner) in quite some time as well. All I can say is - This man and this restaurant lives up to lofty expectations every single time! Ordered Bihari kabab, nihari, shrimp, and their mixed chicken/beef kabab. Also got chicken wings and Masada fries for the kids. Shiken jabeen classic to drink and a sundae to top it off. Everything on the menu is unique. You seriously can't get this flavor anywhere else. The bihari was my favorite (I'd put it up there with BK as the best in town). Finally, can't say enough about the hospitality we have received from the legendary Aziz Noorani over the years. My niece was having Lasbela for the first time ever and was blown away by the level of service. Thank you sir for a wonderful dinner experience.

This Ramadan i got a chance to have an Iftar dinner with family and friends. It is really a nice place and management hospitality was amazing. I just felt that the space is too tight for such number of diners which made it little congested. It took me a while to reach to buffet stand and pour some food due to a long que but it was amazing food or it may be was my starvation 😆. We ordered lasbela sangam kabab, tandoori boti, munfarid Murgh charga, Murgh malai handi, bhuna balochi gosht, chilman biryani, magaz Masala and limo pani poodena. we also ordered a to go for lasbela kadhai. It’s not the cheapest(compared to other indo/Pak restaurants) but quality and taste of the food was outstanding and portion sizes were generous. The ambience was excellent and the restaurant was clean. The server was candid and honest about recommendations and the owner was polite and accommodating. We drove all the way from Woodlands without reservations and he was able to accommodate us. However for future I would probably make a reservation before heading that way.

What sets this restaurant apart is the personalized touch of the owner (Mr. Aziz) who is always around to greet everyone and make sure we are taken care off. First time eating here with the family. Food was excellent. It seems that in weekends they're really busy and may require a reservation. We didn't have one, but they accommodated us. Everything was positive about this place. Took me a moment to get their slogan though. At first, I thought they misspelled "plate". I was looking forward to the chicken somasa, but I guess in the order it got lost. It's all good though. There's one thing they could improve in terms of the environment. The LED lights hanging give of a really weird vibe. There's an odd flicker. If you move anything, it appears like you've become digital right in front of your eyes. And, if you try to record any sort of video, you'll get this weird banding if you don't set your shutter to 1/30 which still produces that weird effect.

So after years of Googling for authentic Pakistani cuisine around town, I finally found one, that for some reason we never noticed before. We walked in to order a take out, and when my wife was taking pictures from the waiting area of how nice the restaurant interior is, the owner was extremely kind and friendly and invited us to take a seat and wait at a table. There's even a small bottle of hand sanitizer placed at every table, talk about attention to detail. We talked a little bit about how we've been looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine, and how food can embody so much of a coutnry's history and culture... We were served some drink samples on the house on top of the mango smoothie I ordered as we waited for our food. And of course, the food is without a doubt amazing - full of flavor and packed with spices and aromatics. The lamp chop is by far the most tender and flavorful lamb chop I've had. For sure Lasbela will become one of our new places to frequent.

Drove by on Highway 59 many times, and always thought it's a Mexican restaurant because of the name. So when searching online for a highly rated restaurant in our area for lunch, it piqued our interest to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Interior is beautifully decorated and spacious; our Waitress Tanaz is very attentive and kind. We ordered 3 entrees: Lasbela Sangam Kebab, Mutton Lasbela Karahi, and Sufyani Murgh Biryani. Kebabs were tender, juicy, and spicy, paired perfectly with the yogurt mint sauce; mutton karahi was fork tender with a perfect bite to it, and sauce was robust; chicken biryani has the quintessential balance of cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric, and other spices with pieces of moist chicken, the golden fried onion (or shallot) sprinkled on top gave it another layer of flavor and crunch! Both Hara Bhara Naan (spicy) and Kalougi Naan were buttery, soft on the insde and crispy on the outside. If you like spicy, flavorful dishes, this place is a hidden gem! We will be revisiting this restaurant soon.

Malai boti was cooked to perfection and truly “makhmali”. The soulful music compliments well to the beautiful decor. Great experience overall. Prices generally reasonable for the level of service. Its decor makes you feel like ur in a totally different place. Nice soothing music played. And the food is the best of the best you can have. Definitely try the chicken malai handi , brain masala and their BBQ, oh and don't forget to try their dessert kulfi was really good. The staff is so professional and so nice. Watch out other Pakistani Indian establishments, this place is going to give you a run for your money. They are going through a soft opening at the moment but should have all their menu items available very soon. The Ambience and decor was fantastic and beautifully done. Would definitely classify this place as a fancy joint where I would bring the wife here on date nights. My in laws came here before us and raved about this place and we had to check it out ourselves. The service was impeccable. We ordered the charga which is a whole fried chicken, which surprisingly had very good flavor with each bite. It's not easy to get flavor inside a whole chicken. The shiken jabeen drink tastes just like a non alcoholic mojito. The karak chai we received was one of the best we have had so far. We also ordered a nihari which could have had more flavor and less oil. The owner came by checking up on us and how the food was. We gave our opinions on the food we had ordered and he actually listened intently and promised updates to the recipe in our next visit. Heck yeah, we will be coming back to try everything else off the menu. We had long interesting conversations with the owner and the service staff after our meal. They really took care of us, we had a great experience.

The dishes have distinctive flavors and aroma, very different than the pakistani food you will usually find. Lasbela is, without doubt, the best south Asian restaurant in the Houston area. We have been here several times and have tried quite a large number of dishes from their menu and all of them were excellent and consistently great. The ambiance and service are also top notch! Some must try dishes would be goat champ, peda lassi, tilwale naan, balouchi bhuna ghosth, yakhni pulao, and barfeeli for dessert.

This is a very very good restaurant…one cannot go on with life without eating here. We were served by Aly Who made recommendations on some incredible dishes. We started off with a spicy chicken barbecue appetizer followed by some of the best lamb chops I’ve ever had along with a goat curry. The bread was also amazing and the service was above five stars. I was visiting Houston from the east coast. I have visited a good proportion of US cities where desis mostly reside however I have not had better lamb chops than at Lasbela’s. Fall-off-the bone, juicy lamb chops that were well worth the price!! Also tried chicken Karahi that reminded me of Karachi Highway’s famous karahi! 10/10 for both!! I thought I had lost this place, but had resolved to keep looking for the original experience I had enjoyed in the past under the name My colachi, and was quite delighted to find it again, although under a new name now "Lasbela" but at the exact same location as former My colachi (I will not get into the details of their split). Now, though the flavor is an extremely important criteria for me, I want to say a true restaurant's hospitality extends beyond just the food, and this place scored high not just on my palate but the ambience, presentation and most of all the services provided. I would mention Tanaz for the great experience and Stasy who made the perfect Margarita (non alcohol) and then the owner himself took a moment to check on us, ofcourse we chose a slightly less busier time :). The Overall experience here makes it my second favorite place in this food category just after Aga's. Lasbela- you do a great job!

We had our weekend family dinner at Lasbela Restaurant & Catering and it was the best time. Everyone in the staff is paying attention so make sure you have the best experience. We got the leeche and blue berry margaritas which is good for like 4 plus people probably special thanks to RAZA who helped us with our order and was patient with a party of 15. Shikan Jabeen Mango and Orginal Mint -These drinks are Mint flavored served cold. Mango colada- Another drink we ordered that was like a mixture of ice cream, Mango, and pineapple. This is the best Mango colada I've ever had !! My absolute goto drink eveytime from here. Aatishi Tandoor Jhinga- Excellent Taste with shrimp grilled to perfection and little sauced on top. Malai Boti and Sangam Kabab - The malai boti just melts its so tender while it maintains all the spices and flavor required. Sangam Kabab was also amazing signature item Murgh Malai Handi and Balochi Bhunna Gosht- these items I felt were competitive to each other !! They both tasted perfect. The chicken is white karachi and bunna ghost was perfect mixture of Gravy and meat Kulfi and Dilbahar Ananas. The kulfi is one not to be missed for sure!!! I'm so glad I tried the Ananas finally all ramadan I missed this item. It's small pieces of pineapple mixed with whipped cream. I couldn't get all the pictures and the food was so good I missed pictures:) Aziz Noorani is such a welcoming person and makes you feel special at Lasbela. I was fun being with the family there and Aziz Noorani and their staff made better with the food.

They served my birthday cake in a very beautiful way. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

Am visiting from Washington D.C, and was told Lasbela is a MUST VISIT. Everyone I know from the area told me to stop there for dinner. With so many recommendations for this place, I had such high expectations. Safe to say they delivered and more. The ambiance was to be mistaken for the finest of dining experience. With perfectly dim lights and beautiful decor. We got the Lasbela Sangam Kabobs and Hasan Zai Karahi (which was recommended by the owner). The kabobs we’re juicy, seasoned, and perfectly spiced. The true star of the show was the Karahi though! It was unarguably the best karahi I’ve ever had in the U.S.A. The masala was thick, the meat was trended and juicy, and perfectly flavored. Every bite with the naan was perfect. We also got there home made Kulfi, and it was much appreciated it was the store bought Shahi Kulfi like every other store. The service was great, led by Ali and the owner who was front and center making sure the place was running smoothly as every owner should be. PS: we just happened to come on the night they had live music, and the violinist was playing classic Bollywood and Pakistani music and it was the perfect compliment to great dinner.

I’ve come to this restaurant many times and I really enjoy their food. The customer service is also really good. The one criticism I have from the last time I went is that I noticed is the manager was very rude to his employees. There were about 2 to 3 instances tonight where I noticed him being vocal about how they were performing. Maybe next time this is something that should be done in private and not in front of customers as it was kind of uncomfortable to sit around. Other than that I’ll be back!

On a side note i don't know what was special about water but it was something very soothing to drink. It was kept at a very precise temperature to make sure we are able to enjoy it. Dinner at Lasbela was truly a beautiful experience. As soon as my friend and I walked into the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the hosts. From there, we were tenderly attend to by the wonderful staff.The food was delicious and extremely pleasing in presentation. To top things off, at the end our dinner, the manager personally came to introduce himself to us. He was very friendly and told us all about the wonderful Jazz night the restaurant has. Loved it! Finally a restaurant at power and some with Agas. We tried the Murgh Malai and Karadhi Gosht for our mains. The flavors were perfectly balanced and authentic. The starters were barbecued to perfection. The ambiance at restaurant is really good. They have hand sanitizers at reach table and all the waiter were wearing masks. It’s been 8 years since I came to USA and Lasbella seems to be the only place where I have had a true Pakistani food experience with its chefs straight from Pakistan itself. I have to say that Lasbella truly represents the original taste of Pakistani cuisine. Not just the taste, words can’t really describe the quality of service and hospitality that is being provided at Lasbella, one feels like being back home . Especially Mr. Ali C , who I personally request to be our host every time I visit with friends and families for he defines excellence with his welcome and hospitality!!

September 18: To be fair with everyone, we went back again for a reset experience (especially bc my wife loved the food). This time we went for lunch and went with an open mind. The experience with the food was, again, great. And the service was far superior than the previousexperience. Overall my wife and I had a great time. And they were able to change my opinion with their positive attitude. We will be visiting them again. Today visit is 5/5. Sept 17: Food was great but there were two service issues which left us with a poor experience. The smoke in the dinning room and the bday cheers were a bit difficult to ignore. They ended up affecting our family dinner. I left with a 3/5 result.

We tried the Bhuna Gosht, butter Naan and Yakhni Pulao. All of them were so amazing. The Bhuna Gosht was undoubtedly the best goat have had in Houston (including Aga's). Also, the Yakhni Pulao was so subtle yet so layered in it's flavors. The price and portions were ample too. Nice ambience too. Would definitely recommend and we are also coming back. The place opened during Covid, so let's further our support and help these guys stay in business and prosper.

Tried this fabulous restaurant and was blown away. The minute you enter the door, you are swept away to an amazing experience of service, sights and tastes. Our waitress, Fatima, realized that we were unfamiliar with the menu and patiently explained the dishes and made great suggestions. Before we knew it, our table was full of delicious food and the service was prompt and efficient! The owner graciously introduced himself and treated us to a yummy dessert, perfect end to a perfect dining experience. Fatima was a joy! We can’t wait to return!!

Hands down, this restaurant has the best service I’ve experienced in Houston for a long time and has the best Pakistani food. At first, my family and I were worried that the service would take a while as they had other families in the restaurant. However, our waitress, Fatima was quick to attend us and gave great suggestions for us first-timers. They didn’t skimp out on portions either. Even the portions for kids was decent. I'm usually not a fan of malai chicken but it was out of this world. The gosht comes in an awesome karahi. The naan were delicious and I felt transported back to Pakistan.
