I took my 10 y/o daughter here for dinner before the Hamilton show on 7/8/22. We had 5:30 reservations and we were promptly greeted by the owner and he sat us immediately. What a gentleman! He made my daughter's evening by asking her name and checked in with her a few times during dinner. She absolutely loved the treatment she received. The staff was just as accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. A nice surprise when the bill came, we received a 10% theatre discount that I wasn't aware of. Keep up the good work! We will return. Thanks very much, the customer service here is top notch.

One of my favorite restaurants Downtown! Nice atmosphere, and great attentive staff. No matter if it's pasta, an appetizer, an entree or a cocktail I always leave feeling satisfied. Great spot for a date night or just a lunch with friends, definitely worth checking out.

We stopped in this restaurant on our way back to NYC and definitely it was a nice place to enjoy a meal after a long day of driving. The service was good with a great ambiance and seating outside and inside. Unfortunately when we arrived it was not seating outside so we had to enjoy the comfort of the AC. The food was also very tasting and good looking. The only little detail for me is that I order a spicy 🥵 dish and it was too spicy for my tolerance 😅 but all the years were worthy

The first thing to say about this place is that the staff is incredible. They were all nice, and helpful. You could tell that this was a place they all enjoyed working. The food was good. Our starters were the flatbread and the tuna maki. It was interesting having sushi at an Italian restaurant but they did a nice job with it. The flatbread was great. Had a 6 oz filet and a blackened mahi-mahi over risotto for dinner. I enjoyed the fish. The risotto and the steak were decent. The steak was just a bit over cooked, but still tasty.

One of my favorite places to eat in Hartford. Always a great experience! The food is always delicious and fresh and the staff are all helpful. The owner is usually on site and very friendly. Even if you don't visit for food, I Highly recommend trying the garlic cheese bread.

This was the BEST experience I've had in a long time. I was dining in the bar by myself and had a chance to observe the atmosphere. There were many hugs being given by, maybe an owner, like a friends and family environment. It was wonderful! The staff are all wonderful and engaging and the food....oh my gosh! SOOOO GOOD!

Ended up here after the Atheneum Art museum. WHAT A PLEASURE. I had the meatball salad and our gluten free and veggie diners went w the spaghetti squash option. Raviolis were demolished in minutes and the vodka sauce pasta was equally a hit. Cheese bread to start and offered complimentary biscotti to go?! SAY LESS! wonderful experience, highly recommend

Hands down, the best dining experience we’ve had in a year! Jay, the manager took extra care of us on our anniversary and put together this beautiful desert. The drinks and food were absolutely outstanding- the service was excellent. This goes beyond great service and amazing food- they really care about everyone who walks in the door.

We came to Salute after a whole day of meetings with a group of 30 people. Their service was awesome! Very polite staff and attentive. They knew the nenu and I have a co-worker with celiac and they had great gluten free options. I had their garlic bread which was great. For drink, the Aperol Spritz was very refreshing. The greek salad was one of the best was I've had. The chicken parmegiana waz equally good. At the end they give biscotis to take home and those were so good! I would gladly stop by Salute again. Leave these folks a good tip as they deserve!!!

Can not recommend this place enough. The food is amazing, the service amazing, the vibe is amazing, and the owner is amazing. We go to Salute every time we’re in Hartford. Pasta is delicious and authentic (al dente as it should be), and garlic cheese break is addicting, and the desserts are great. The owner Jimmy is very involved and a genuinely and kind man. Donovan, our waiter, is a true professional but also entertaining and funny. And honest! Recommend: Giobatto (has a kick but is delicious), Rose Pasta (FAV DISH), Pasta Ala Vodka (simple but solid), and the seasonal Apple Chicken Sausage with Broccoli Rabe was amazing. Garlic cheesy bread. Chocolate lava cake with graham central station ice cream. Wow.

I tried their rigatoni alla vodka - the sauce was creamy but lacking that heat. I somehow enjoyed the addition of feta though and the portion was huge! Their menu looks great but kinda pricey. Their patio was cute and the place was poppin by dinner time.

If I could give more stars I would! The evening didn't start well with one of the waitresses, I won't go into details and I hope she was just having a one-off bad night unfortunately. The owner, Jimmy really saved the evening. It was a special occasion, the waitress not being very attentive unfortunately set a bad vibe but Jimmy was so kind and understanding, took the time to sit with us and really made us feel welcome. Even gave us a stuffed baguette to bring home. Honestly we probably wouldn't of come back if it weren't for him but now if we are ever in the area we will definitely stop by!! Our meals and drinks were phenomenal, oddly it's hard to find a restaurant that will bring out everyone's meal at the same time, perfectly cooked and hot! Wrote happy anniversary on our (amazing) deserts and good luck for a family member going away. 10/5 ⭐

This is without a doubt THE BEST restaurant in Hartford we have eaten in. All the boxes are checked. Delicious food is just the start but what sets this apart is the world class and friendly service. Definitely a repeat visit is warranted.

I love coming here when visiting CT! I highly recommend eating here for lunch as it's still big portions and quite a bit cheaper. Pesto chicken pasta and calamari are great.

I had never visited this restaurant before and called in. Made reservations for 7pm on a Friday night. When I arrived we waited for less than a minute and the extremely friendly and personable host greeted us and seated us right away. It was very busy and almost full. The bar was packed with people. A very friendly lady came over and told us her name and said that she was our water person. She was excellent 😊 Our waiter Donavan came by a short time later despite how busy they were and took our order. What was impressive to me was that he remembered our order exactly. We ordered the sweet potato ravioli and cheese my garlic bread to start which was excellent! Our main course which was the shrimp and linguine and steak with mash was super tasteful. Everyone including the servers and other staff were friendly and attentive. Even though it was extremely busy there was no delays with our food. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be back for sure.

Best restaurant experience we've ever had. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a server. The hostess (which we found out later is the owner's wife) came and got our info. While we waited, she made very pleasant conversation with us. We did not have reservations but got a table quickly. The owner also came over to ensure an outside table is okay (we requested outside but he wanted to ensure we were okay with the cool temperature). The owner seated us, and was just so incredibly pleasant. Our server, Donovan, was equally pleasant. His personality was made for hospitality. The energy between him and the owner, as well as the other employees was just so positive. The food was incredible, and generous portions. The wine and desserts were also great. I am not local, but I will 100% be finding a reason to come back to Hartford just so I can dine there every day. We cannot stop talking about our experience at Salute. Thank you so much!

From the time we entered into the restaurant, we felt welcomed. I called earlier regarding one member of our party dietary restrictions and right away she was put at ease. The foods and drinks were delicious, portion sizes were true Italian size. Crab cake appetizer was great! Pasta was perfect!! Dessert was delicious and moist! All six of us were super happy with our dishes. It was our first time here and how we treated and all the above will make me be a guest again for sure!!! I’ve recommended them to others already!

This is the second time I have dined here. The FOOD is so good! I’ve had the salmon, the bolognese, the chicken gnocchi and penne & vodka sauce. My husband had the shrimp fra-diablo-ALL were so full of flavor! Their two signature appetizers are their garlic bread & spicy fried calamari. Definitely worth the indulgence. The customer service is so warm & accommodating. I also found a new favorite martini! The Huckleberry Finn. Check this restaurant out!!

Service was quick at lunchtime. My BFF had the sweet potato ravioli which he loved and I had the Shrimp picata. It had way to much lemon flavor, it over powered everything else in the dish. The garlic bread was fantastic. I'll return and try the shrimp diablo.

I was passing through Hartford on a road trip and wanted a sit-down, Italian dinner instead of fast food. Salute had excellent reviews and was in a desirable location so I decided to try it. The place was incredible! The general manager, Jimmy, was amazing! He asked me my name and made me feel welcome. The food and the service were amazing! I ordered the sweet potato ravioli as an appetizer and the chicken parmesan for my entree. As suspected, I needed a box for the generous portion of food. Jimmy threw in some extra bread and made sure to box everything up with care so it would last on my 5-hour drive. I will come back to Hartford just to eat here!

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but Salute more than deserves the praise. Saw a show at the Bushnell, and went to Salute for dinner afterwards. The food was excellent and they could probably coast on that alone, but what put everything over the top was the staff. From the moment we arrived, the Owner?/Manager? made us feel welcome and special and our waiter (Dominic, I believe) was incredibly friendly, funny and helpful. We encountered a handful of other staff over the course of the night, and they were all equally enthusiastic and courteous. Just overall a wonderful example of a restaurant going the extra mile for a great experience. This was our first time at Salute, but the experience was so incredible it will now be our go-to place when we're in Hartford for a show.

We had dinner at salute the night before the Hartford Marathon. We were promptly greeted and seated and the staff was very friendly. Our food came quickly and it was delicious. I highly recommend the garlic bread. It's so moist and warm and full of goodness. The pasta is fresh and was some of the best pasta I have ever had. Our server was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean.

Food was very good, and the atmosphere was nice as well, not very busy at the time. We already knew it was going to be a little pricey but the food quality did seem worth it. Minus 2 stars though, I'm not sure the waiter's name, or if he had some sort of bad day, but he was extremely abrupt with us. He was practically walking away every time we started to ask something. And answered most questions very quickly like he wanted to avoid us. So many reviews praise the service, and maybe it's just this guy's style, but we felt uncomfortable and it seemed pretty unprofessional.

The hospitality of the people is great makes you feel warm and welcomed. The menu is a decent size veg options are a little less. Desert options are good. My creame brulee was tasty. Ambience is lovable and has a bar and outdoor seating for summer. Portion size is huge. Overall a good dining experience.

A friend and I had a wonderful lunch yesterday. The utensils and plates were spotless, the staff was very warm upon entry, and our server was fabulous. My friend and I ordered garlic bread, and because it was a little delayed our server sent us home with some to put in the oven! Absolutely amazing service and amazing crab cakes!

Just had dinner here with my wife and kids. Not only are the meals generously and beautifully prepared the staff are all the KINDEST individuals in the business! They could not have been more accommodating to our two young daughters. I have been eaten here many times while working in the area. Always a great experience. Be sure to save room for the graham cracker gelato!

I had an excellent lunch during a recent weekend visit. Portions were decent and server/kitchen was accommodating to some special requests. A few cons: No bread served with meal. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread and it is wonderful but is an up charge. The entire time we were there the rather loud phone was ringing non stop and was very distracting and takes away from the experience. Technology is such you can fix this.

Amazing food and super friendly staff. I visited Hartford for 24 hrs and placed a to-go order here and it was the right choice! The lemon crusted cod was amazing. They also let me try the tiramisu, garlic bread, and homemade biscotti. Everything was so good. Hope to go back there one day.

We always love going to Salute. Jimmy Cosgrove who is the owner always makes you feel like family. The food is always wonderful. We had the spare ribs and the hanger steak. Both were great. Bring your appetite. Can't wait for our next visit.

When I know I'm going to have a long or hard day at work I order my favorite meal for pick up to help make my work day better. Friday was no exception. Fantastic food and service. The highly recommended flat bread pizza was delicious. We also recommend it. Our group ordered Greek salad, couple of flatbreads(it was a hit!). For the main I ordered pasta with sauce which was decadent(see the pic!) Overall, Large portions and great tasting food. We will be coming back.

Everything from the service to the food was excellent! It was a busy night because many people were going to the UCONN basketball game after dinner. The host asked if we were going to the game, and he said there would be a wait. While we waited, he took our order, and our food was ready as soon as we sat down. The Greek Salad, Chicken Parmesan, and Shrimp Fra Diablo with Spaghetti Squash were delicious. We were out of there in time for the game! Service was fast, friendly, and impressive. All of the staff were helping out to serve the customers. We’ve been here several times and it’s always great.

Salute was absolutely amazing. We went without a reservation ( not advisable), the place was packed as it was peak dinner time. We were really lucky to get a table for a party of 4. The ambience was great, our waiter was pleasant and service was surprisingly not slow. Everyone in my party loved their food, and we all got free biscotti to take home. Best biscotti I ever had.

The food was excellent! We started with some garlic cheese bread. Our teens can be picky eaters and they both loved their meals. My daughter had the Pomodoro and son had the Chicken Gnocci, which was very filling. They both had half boxed up. My spouse and I both had Shrimp Fra Diablo-mine with spaghetti squash and it was amazing. We ate all of ours. Our server is actually a chef and was helping out the owner. He was very knowledgeable and sent the kids home with dessert, which was very sweet!

I went there for lunch with my family. It wasn’t very crowded and the service was top quality. The waitress was so friendly and polite and the food was very delicious. We loved the cheese and bread started so much!! They also offered us free cookies to take away when we finished. Great experience

Complimentary biscotti was a nice touch for sure. All in all, the prices ended up being really reasonable for lunch. Definitely going back again.

We love Salute! Great food and happy ambience. The owner is often there with a big smile, ready to accommodate your needs. This restaurant is intent on making patrons satisfied. The waitstaff could not be more helpful and you leave there with a good feeling and a bag of goodies to eat the next day. Always a positive dining experience.

This point place is Amazing!! We are in our way home from Maine and was looking for a sit downb Italian place. The wife had been letting me get lobsters and she just wanted a nice Italian place. This place was on the way. We are SO glad we stopped by. The service and staff is friendly and warm. The highlight though is the FOOD!! IT IS AMAZING!! GARLIC CHEESE BREAD, best we've ever had! I had the Greek salad and swordfish special. DELICIOUS!! And the way they did the Mash potatoes. They really owned it!! Wife had the promodoro pasta! Very delicious!! No complaints at all!! Oh! They Validate parking too!! Before we left we had a conversation with some of the staff. They gave us a a whole load of their GARLIC CHEESE BREAD! And they offered to buy me coffee when they found out we had another 6 hours to go. I thought this place couldn't get any better! This is hands down my favorite Italian restaurant ever! What an awesome way to end vacation!

Um wow where do I begin. Not being from the area I went on TripAdvisor to search for the number 1 restaurant and Salute came up. We were not disappointed! Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and amazing manager Jay (more on him in a little bit) who quickly seated my wife and me. We were quickly greeted by our amazing server who provided widespread knowledge of the menu and gave us some great options and recommendations. My wife ordered the chicken gnocchi and I ordered the chicken parm - both cooked to perfection, hot, and delicious!! So filling and great value. More then halfway through our meal I was unfortunately figeting with my wedding ring and dropped it in between the booth at the restaurant. Despite a few attempts to get the ring back on my own I was not successful. A few of the patrons around our table tried to help but despite best efforts were unsuccessful as well. That is where Jay, one of the most determined and thoughtful people I have ever encountered in my entire life sprung into action. Seeing the visible stress on my face he did everything possible to get my wedding ring back and after many attempts - he was successful! LITERALLY saved my life. As a business owner myself I only wish that I had an identical team that was just as dedicated, knowledgeable and just overall great people to go above and beyond in even the most obscure circumstances. You have gained not only a customer for life but also an advocate for anything that this team looks to do. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for everything and we will certainly be back anytime we are in the area again.

Salute did an excellent job with our large group of of 32 people last Thursday! Jimmy made this very easy to schedule and I appreciated the confirmation call days in advance, especially with our group traveling from NY. They were friendly and accommodating when a handful of us showed up to get pre-dinner drinks and even seated us a little early. Dinner was delicious, prices were great, and staff was top-notch. The food was excellent, especially the "soon to be famous cheesy garlic bread". The maitre'd Jay was great and our server Rachel was incredibly attentive. It was a birthday surprise, and they helped my husband with the surprise guest, so kind of them! This place is my new favorite spot in Hartford!

What an amazing dining experience! I love the layout of the restaurant; creates a very intimate setting where there aren't a bunch of other diners around while you're enjoying your dinner and conversation. A great place for a date night! The service was wonderful. Very attentive, no empty glasses here! The food itself was just exquisite. Generous portions but tastes so good you'll want to finish every bite. We had the cheesy garlic bread. Lots of parmesan, Romano, and mozzarella with minced garlic. The pasta bolognese was delicious as well with a meaty sauce that was extremely flavorful. The salmon was my favorite! Flaky and delicate and served with perfectly cooked spinach and a rich, buttery potato lasagna that could have been a meal in itself. Overall I have to say this was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Made for a perfect and much needed night out. If you're looking to make a good impression on someone, this is the place to bring them!

When it comes Italian food, Salute is one to look out for. I have been to many restaurants, but this is quite different. Now, I decided to try eating here and I am expecting that, hmm, it's like the other restaurant, with no significant or unusual things. But to my surprise, when I tried their food, Wow! It was one of a kind. The staffs are working with a smile and very friendly. The place is very clean and follow health standards, since it's pandemic. I am definitely recommending this to my friends and family near here. I hope I can go back to this place sooner. I can't wait! Thank you very much for your excellent service.

I've always had a great experience at Salute prior to the pandemic and my first visit as things are starting to get back to normal was another great experience. This time I tried the Spasta Pesto which was a very unique and satisfying dish. It is so nice to be given biscotti to bring home at the end of the meal. Highly recommended!

I came here after work with some coworkers for happy hour and was impressed at their menu! Happy hour was from 4-6:30pm and cocktails started at $6! Wine and beer were also $4-5. The parking is alright, you can find street parking or you can use the LaZ lot next door (Salute gives a 50% off coupon). The servers were fast and friendly and the food was delicious.

We had dinner for our anniversary here tonight. The food and service were absolutely phenomenal. Our server, Scott, and the rest of the team were friendly, attentive, and professional. The cocktails were exquisite - the strawberry lemonade was the best drink I have had in ages. Me and my family went there for my sister's 21st birthday dinner and my whole family had the best time! Both the food and service were outstanding! Especially the garlic cheese bread. My dad also couldn't stop raving how good his meatball pasta was and how it's the best meatball he has ever had. We had wonderful service being provided to us the moment we walked in, the host, the bartender and our server, they were all very friendly and attentive. I want to especially thank Jimmy who ran after us after our meal and chatted with us and gave us free garlic cheese bread and cookies to bring home. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Being military, I have traveled quite a bit, and I must say, this is by far the best restaurant I have been to in such a long time. The kids and I went here while in town for a visit. This was by far one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The staff was all incredibly nice and helpful. They made amazing accommodations to provide kid friendly meals. We met the owner who stopped by our table several times and even remembered the kids names. Stopped in on a Friday night without a reservation at 7pm. The hostess and manager were so accommodating and found us a spot to have dinner in the bar area right away. Our server Donavan was one of the best I have ever experienced. He was personable, knowledgeable and also very attentive. Best to arrive early. I arrived at 4:30 pm. Place was packed by 5:00 pm. Although today was extra special because there was the Hamilton musical in the theater next door. The cheesy garlic bread was amazing. The pomodoro pasta was good. The pasta was just the right texture. The sauce was a bit loose in texture for my taste; I prefer a thicker sauce. The posts comes with lots of mozzarella cheese; it was fine. The chicken did have a bit of fatty tissue in it, but overall was good. The restaurant provided some biscotti at the end. They were big and fresh.

It was a really nice experience. We were in a group of 5. It was packed! We were told we had to wait, which was fine-it was freezing that night. We ordered a drink and the wait was about 10 min. I ordered the salmon-then got asked if i wanted it mid rare or medium which is how the waiter prefers it...I dont know about anyone else but I've never been asked that. It came out glistening and i was HAPPY! The flavor was very nice and the lemon cream sauce was velvety and smooth. Accompanying it was portabella and spinach (great) with a potato lasagna. The potato was just ok, but it did have 6 or 7 layers that took skill. The star was definitely the salmon. SALUTE!!

Firstly, the service. No kinder or more considerate service could be given from every person there. We didn't realize it was reservation only, we had our two 4 year olds with us and the kind response was "we aren't sending you back in the cold let me figure it out". Overall a wonderful experience from the food, service! We went there for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The staff is extremely accommodating as were all vegetarian and they were pretty much able to make most of dishes sans meat. The spasta pesto and rose pasta were our favorites. First place we ate on our trip to Hartford. We didn't have a reservation, but they sat us right away anyway, even though it was a Friday night. The staff was uber friendly. We didn't feel uncomfortable bringing our 2 year old daughter, the staff seemed to love her. We even put our stroller in a closet area. The garlic bread was hot and fresh. Very tasty Italian food at big portions, we both had pasta dishes. The crème brulée for dessert was the bomb.

We went to Salute last night for our 25th anniversary, and the food and service were off the charts!! Our server and the owner made us feel like royalty - that's old school at its best. We loved every dish we had - the spicy calamari with peppers, field greens, Salute Mac & Cheese, grilled asparagus, tuna maki, and Salute's Sunday dinner (linguini & meatballs). And the tiramisu was incredible. Every dish was a standout, fresh quality ingredients and full of flavor. I just saw on Trip Advisor that Salute is ranked #1 of 433 Hartford restaurants - SO DESERVED!! I hope it stays on top for a long, long time. Thank you Salute for making our anniversary dinner extra special. Can't wait to go back.

Wanted to take my mom to an upscale Italian restaurant. We are Italian, so we know what good Italian food is. This is GREAT Italian food. Started with a cheesy garlic bread, which I guess they are known for. Delicious, and I'm not even a big fan of garlic bread. Main course for me was the Fra Shrimp Diablo. Usually when I order a dish that says 'hot' and 'fiery' on the menu, it doesn't have enough heat. This did, it was spicy, it had chunks of peppers mixed in with the sausage and shrimp. I was cleaning the bowl with my bread just to get every drop. Also had a Mozzarella and tomato salad. Mozz was so fresh, and I dont even like tomatoes but these were delicious. My mom had Gnocchi, and she loved it. Also had two Mojitos, and they even put the right amount of alcohol in them (usually restaurants skimp on this). Finished with splitting a Creme Brulee, or however you spell it. Never had this before, but it's my mom's favorite dessert. We Loved it. She described it as heaven. To top it off, the server (I just called them just to get her name) Heather was phenomenal. Super sweet, had a sense of humor, great recommendations. This meal was VERY important to me (late mothers day gift), and we drove 45 minutes from Western Mass for this. The reviews looked great, so I had high expectations, and Salute exceeded them. Wish I had a Pic to share, but I devoured everything in front of me. My mom was equally impressed. Thank you Salute, thank you Heather, we will be back!

We had ordered garlic cheese bread, spicy fried calamari, Rose Pasta and Salute special Mac and cheese. Every dish was cooked to perfection and served with love and care. The food were so good that we forgot to take photographs of the first 2 dishes, it seems we have to go back to have more of that garlic cheese bread. 😍 The rose pasta and Mac and cheese were great too. We were too full to have dessert but we will keep that for the next visit. We would definitely visit again soon to taste more delicious dishes from Salute 👍🏼

The smoked tomato butter is AMAZING, best italian calamari I’ve ever had, the hanger steak with Gorgonzola cream and grilled salmon with potato lasagna is a must. I’ve been 3 times and the service is exceptional every time. Not sure if he’s the manager or owner, but there’s a gentleman who interacts with patrons and refers to us by our first names which I think is so attentive and personal. Went here at about 8:30pm on a weekday night hoping to get food since the kitchen closes at 9pm. Salute was swamped but the staff members were doing a great job keeping things moving. We didn't mind the wait. We finally got sat around 9pm and had the most amazing server, Jimmy. Jimmy was attentive, personal, and found time to establish a rapport with us while literally RUNNING around the restaurant getting things done. We love to see it! The best dining experience I have had in a long time - probably ever!! The ENTIRE staff was incredibly friendly, inviting, and took time to get to know us - our names, where we were from, etc!! Daniel, our server, was extremely relatable and made great recommendations for our meal and truly helped us feel like the most important customers! The manager interacted with us frequently, without us even knowing he was the manager. Salute is a frequent choice in the rotating series of restaurants I go to when visiting Hartford. The menu mostly consists of Italian-American standards like gnocchi with pesto/chicken, chicken Parmesan, shrimp scampi, etc. Even though it's rare that you'll find something that I consider particularly creative or inventive, I've also very rarely been disappointed with whatever I choose to get. Everything is consistently well cooked and seasoned which I think alone is worthy of praise. They are also relatively quick which is great when stopping by before a theater show at the Bushnell if you're in a little rush. Overall I've chosen to return here many times and even though it's not a menu that particularly excites me I'm glad there are old standbys like this that exist to satisfy.

Usually I just go to burger places, but today my girlfriend took me here for my birthday and I was blown away. They had no business being that good. The servers Rafael and Jimmy were amazing. They remembered my name and they gave me top notch service. Those guys definitely deserve a raise. The drink was amazing, the pasta was amazing, the garlic bread was to die for and they even gave me a complimentary dessert. Everything was top tier. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Sometimes even good food gets ruined by unpleasant staff. Not in Jimmy Cosgrove's watch. Restaurant owners should take a lesson or two from Jimmy. Always a pleasant experience here at Salute and worth the visit all the way from NC! The cocktails are worth every penny!

First impression...unbelievably busy! Our party of 6 waited for at least 5 minutes to be seated. But it was fine! We were chatting and could see that they were extremely busy! Seated...nice staff! Every single person I encountered was very, very nice and made me feel very welcome and that I was well taken care of throughout the entire time. Whether it was a glass of fresh, ice cold water or a full glass of wine, they were always ahead of the game. Delicious meal!!! Salmon, potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely loved it! Brought half home for lunch on Saturday! It was very noisy. But they had a full house! I didnt have any dessert. No comment other than they do have a wonderful selection and I would have loved to try the Crème brulée. However, the owner is super sweet and gave each couple in our party a special treat to take home....2 treats, actually! Great place! Worth it! Go!

We had a fantastic dinner there on Thursday, August 6th. Me, my daughter and her Fiancé' The owner came over and gave us free loaves of Garlic Bread, 2 DIE 4!!! . Its absolutely a must when visiting here. Finding out that they are getting married next month, the owner, presented them with a gift card to the restaurant! He stated, enjoy dinner on us after you have unwound from your Wedding Day! THIS was by far the nicest gesture and cant express our gratitude and THANKS to him and his staff. If you havent dined here, you are missing out not only on Great food, but exceptional Customer Service. Great food, better staff. When you walk into this place everyone makes an effort to make you feel welcomed, and like you are a part of the salute family. I ate an appetizer at the bar, the host asked my name, and called me by name each time he passed by, checked on me twice, another worker happened to take a glance at the TV at the bar and made small talk and also asked my name. He too referred to me by name for the rest of my time there. The restaurant was filled with regulars. Everyone seemed to know everyone. The food was great. Only had the sweet potato ravioli, which seems to be an odd pairing, but was very good. A must try restaurant. Not too many options in downtown Hartford, but this will truly be a pleasant experience.

From the moment they answer the phone, you feel like a valued patron & part of their community. The service is really great and the food/portions are well worth anything they are asking for. For any additions or adjustments to your order, they always go above & beyond. It really is a great (& rare) feeling when you walk in & they use your name as if you were a close friend! 5 stars, recommend to anybody living in or visiting our Capital City.

Everything was awesome! As soon as we walked in the hostess was so pleasant and the ambience of the interior was lovely. The food from starters to dessert was excellent. I can't say enough good things about Salute!! We've been there twice - both times amazing service, beautifully prepared and tasty food, and quiet but classy atmosphere. Being a vegetarian it's difficult to find a restaurant where there is more than a side salad to eat. Salute had so many lunch and dinner options including unique pasta dishes, veggie pasta, gourmet salads, and sandwiches. Save room for desert too!! The gelato rivaled what I had in Italy and the lava cake was requested twice by those I was with. Biscotti to go was a sweet touch and a delicious memory. The staff and management went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and special both times, including accommodating an early reservation for us and giving us a separate room. They treated us like family and were very understanding of dining with children.. We will certainly return!!!

Now that I have had a chance to dine often at Salute I've come to realize how great they really are. The cheesy garlic bread is a guilty pleasure. The raviolis are insanely good and little trick- use the ravioli sauce with the bread! :) Owners and wait staff are pleasant, welcoming, and a huge part of the great experience!

I cannot begin saying how amazing and top notch Salute is! We entered the restaurant and the owner, Jimmy, right away made sure we felt at home and we payed for our parking (I’m from out of the area and apparently the parking meter attendants are REALLY ON TOP of the parking spaces). Rafael made wonderful food suggestions and I ended up creating a meal that he suggested; definitely do not regret! I had steak with penne ala vodka and it was so good! The chocolate lava cake I had was also perfectly moist and a good balance of sweet. Jimmy and Rafael personally assisted my friends and I, but everyone there was just so sweet. Definitely recommend going here for great food and an amazing experience!

This is the second year my girlfriend and I have gone for our anniversary and the food is fantastic. Their chicken parmesan is superb and the chocolate lava cake is decadent. For two main courses and dessert it's just under $50 so it's a good price for spectacular food. Dessert was on the house for us sense we mentioned we were there for our anniversary. There's a parking garage located in the building that the restaurant is in and parking is half off if you validate your ticket at the front. Will definitely be going back again.

Being from TX, & our first trip to CT., we found Salute. We didn't read that reservations were necessary and were greeted with great hospitality. We were seated right away. The service was excellent, ambiance was welcoming, and the food was amazing. We ordered potato lasagna, the cheesy bread (get this for sure!), and the recommended specials a shrimp linguine with a thyme sauce and the cod served over white rice. Because we were rushed due to our timing & no reservations, they were gracious to give us some bread and desserts. The tiramisu is divine, but we enjoyed the Graham cracker ice cream the most. A smooth, vanilla ..ice cream blended with bits of toffee and laced with Graham crackers. We'd go again, and most definitely recommend.

In our current world, a delicious meal with amazing customer service is hard to come by. If that's what you're after, look no farther than Salute! My family and I have had a hard time finding places to spend time together with the way things are right now but luckily, Salute is exactly halfway in between us. Not only did they offer us refuge for the holidays and gave us an amazing Christmas Eve experience but we returned about two months later on a Sunday because they were gracious enough to open the restaurant EARLY to fit with our schedule--truly unreal. It also doesn't hurt that the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Our Christmas Eve dinner ended with complimentary dessert and homemade biscotti to take home, whereas our second experience ended with more amazing biscotti and an uncooked cheesy garlic bread that we could take home and enjoy again! I seriously cannot rave enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and visit--you'll not only be supporting a small business but you'll have an amazing time as well.

I went for a birthday dinner, party of 12, and everything was perfect! Packed house on a Saturday night at 8:00, but we got a great table and excellent service. I had scallops with shrip fried rice that was delicious, but now I can't wait to go back for one of the amazing pasta dishes everyone else was eating! What a fantastic restaurant!! From the moment we walked in the door till the time we left was just all around spectacular. It was our first time and our waiter was very informative about the menu, everything is made to order, you're not restricted to what's on menu, which you never see! The food is phenomenal from the unique smoked tomatoe butter that goes on the bread, to your good sized portion meal, all the way to dessert. Everything reasonably priced and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We will definitely be back!

Super friendly wait staff. Food was great. In Hartford on sat night. Everyone restaurant in the area was completely empty except this place that required a reservation. I see why- everything first rate. Interesting appetizer... meatball salad. Never heard of that before. Since I am a meatball fan I had try it. And it was great.

An amazing place to eat for 2 reasons. I’ve been there 10-15 times over a course of 3 years. 1. Incredibly polite staff and excellent service, the owner always sends us home with biscotti and sometimes FULL loaves of garlic bread. The waiters and bartenders have been equally as professional and welcoming. 2. Quality AND quantity for price, the meals are massive (I’ve always had leftovers) and high quality, something you’d expect to pay a lot for - but price wise compete with other local restaurants. I’ll come here over Bears almost every time.

I went here because the reviews were good and I needed something in walking distance. And the reviews were accurate! The staff was AMAZING. One of the first people I met was the owner and didn't realize it till later. When our waiter mentioned his name at the end I put two and two together from a review I read. Jimmy is amazing and sweet! Our waiter was one of the best I've ever add as well. And the food! I wanted something more basic and not on the menu and they made it for me ! Also the dessert is ONE OF A KIND. I got the Graham Station Gelato, you have to try. Will be going back!

I was here with a group of 12. Food was great. Service was great. The ending had mixed emotions. We were there over 2 hours and we heard the person in charge angrily say, "I want that table now" and pointed to us. Someone came over and thanked us for coming. That didn't matter because we heard and saw the other person giving us the boot. We all work in business. We get that, but keep your drama in your kitchen. There is no reason for us or anyone to hear that.

Had an excellent dinner tonight before a musical at the Bushnell theater. The theater is an 8 minute walk away, across the Bushnell park. Fantastic, attentive, friendly service. Delicious Italian-style dishes, simple menu and great prices. We had our rehearsal dinner (for a wedding!) here and the service completely blew us away. My family and I visited this restaurant when we were in Hartford to see “Hamilton.” The food is very good and the service is friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was crowded but not uncomfortable. It has a vibrant atmosphere. My only complaint involves the tomato and fresh mozzarella salad. The cheese was delicious, but the tomatoes had been refrigerated, which spoils their flavor. All in all, this was a good experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Great experience from start to finish. What a wonderful group of people running this restaurant. Food was cooked perfectly, we were even walked to our car to so they owner could save us a few bucks on parking which was right next to the restaurant with plenty of parking. The restaurant is right off the hwy and easy to find, great place to stop for dinner! We will definitely be back!

Visited from out of town before we watched “Age of Innocence.” Service was superb and the food was amazing. Salute was the very first restaurant I went to in all of Connecticut in 2011 when I moved here. It actually took me a year to find the place again but since then my relationship of Salute has been nothing but amazing. I bring my mother here EVERY time she visits and it's her favorite place too! My wife and I lived in Hartford her 2 years and salute was one of our normal haunts. We became friendly with Jimmy the owner and besides the fact that he is a sweetheart he runs a tight ship. My wife and I, even had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Salute and Jimmy's pricing was affordable, fair and honestly THE BEST IN TOWN. Oh yea, THE FOOD! They are original, flexible and have the best garlic bread in town. Their main dishes are also tremendous, but my favorite are the pasta dishes. They vodka sauce is amazing. The butter nut squash ravioli is TO DIE FOR. To top it all off the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for a dinner to remember or even a quick one b4 a Bushnell show Salute is a great stop!

We usually like this place but on this day I have to give it a 3 star rating. The food was just sub-par at best and lacked flavor. I guess the AC in the building broke down on the day we were there so the building was hotter than hell. We did not see a manager to apologize for the heat or explain why it was so hot. On a good note the bar tender were awesome and the drinks were spectacular.

We stopped here for dinner on our road trip up to Nova Scotia - glad we did. First off, I have to say staff were very friendly, especially one gentleman who I'm guessing was the manager or the owner. We got a perfect table right by the front window and started off with nice bread and flavorful smoked tomato butter. For my entree, I got the Rose Pasta, because it basically consists of my favorite foods (mushrooms, sausage, tortellini). It was cooked well and all of the ingredients complimented each other well - I very much enjoyed it. The portion size was nice and large, so I was able to take some for the road as well. When we were leaving, we were lucky to be given some of their biscotti. It's not a gesture I see in restaurants and we seriously appreciated it. The biscotti was fantastic. Overall, very happy we stopped at Salute. If I lived in the area I'd put it into my regular rotation for sure, especially with their affordable beer dinners.

The service was so good that the host actually walked out to the parking garage with us to validate our parking so we did not have to pay full price. Not that this place needs another five star review... but service was absolutely incomparable with any other restaurant I've been to. Making a reservation was quick, easy, and to the point. Even when I had to reschedule for an hour later because the lady was still getting ready. I had the large crab cake, shrimp fra diablo pasta, and sorbet for dessert. All of the meals were of great size, delicious, environment was great for both casual and date (first date, wanted something nice but not overwhelming), and everyone was very friendly. Wow! This is honestly on my top 5 list of best restaurants I have ever been to in all of my travels around the world (including all over Europe and Asia). I have never been treated with such thoughtful and friendly service as I have here. I was especially impressed by the owner, who is an exemplar boss, working side-by-side his employees - serving, greeting, and moving tables. Not to mention, the food is amazing! Their vodka pasta is as good (if not better) than the pasta I've had in Italy, and they have totally mastered their gnocchi. Outstanding! Exceptional food and service. The place was abuzz and packed with every seat occupied during the course of our leisurely meal and many standing in the bar as well. I received, quite possibly, the best service I’ve ever experienced at Salute. We came here for with a group from work and had around 40 people in our party. One would expect service to be a bit on the slow side for a group this size…..not at Salute! My glass never hit the table empty without the waiter having another on the way (without me even having to ask!). From the time of ordering until dinner was on our tables, it was only about 15-20 minutes (for all 40 people!). Needless to say, I was impressed and will be back to visit next time I am in Hartford.

I went there after reading a lot of comments about their garlic bread n authentic pasta dishes whereas i felt it was probably hyped. Both the dishes are ok but you can still get same taste in other italian restaurants as well. They had great variety of wines and other drinks. Servers are pretty welcoming and the place is mostly crowded on the weekends but they make sure to greet u well personally. I saw a lot of regulars and it just felt like small family reunions. Prices are high but portions are large too. Not a good idea if u want to try different dishes all by urself.

I was in Hartford for business and our local host excitedly recommended Salute Italian as a "must go to" restaurant while I'm Hartford. It was a Wednesday night and our party consisted of 8 people, we figured it would be no problem to be seated. Upon our arrival at the restaurant Jimmy, the host, told us without a reservation there was no way they could see us and recommended another restaurant up the street. We all thanked him and left to walk to the other restaurant when a moment or two later Jimmy came running up to us and asked us to come back because he was sure he could seat us. He seated us at a nice but his hospitality didn't stop there. About 20 minutes after we were seated two more of our group showed up. Instead of just squeezing in 2 more chairs at our table Jimmy actually located and brought over another table to accommodate these late diners. A few minutes later one more person from our group showed up. Jimmy didn't even flinch for, as the true professional he located at bishan seating and brought it over to our table to make sure that we're all comfortable and we'll spaced. Thank you Jimmy for making all these out-of-towners feel so welcome at your wonderful establishment, bit it didn't stop there. Our server was Donovan he was welcoming, knowledgeable and an outstanding professional. He processes a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, what wines go well with the dishes and what sides enhance an entree. He was fun and funny, able to banter and be entertaining while taking care of us in a truly professional manner. When you go to Salute be sure to shake the hands of Jimmy and Donovan, tell him it's from the Texan who ordered the spaghetti.

The service here is equivalent to that of a Romen emperor returning victoriously back to Rome on his charriott as the crouds clamber for a mere glimpse of their savior. The food was unmatched, imagine if you will the knowledge and expertise of the greatest chefs of our time combined into one super chef. That super chef still wouldn't be able to match the fine delicacies served at this establishment. With the service and food the best I've experienced in quite some time I expected a price to be the highest I've seen in a long time as well. But $50 (not including tip) for a dinner and appetizer for two, this little gem just turned into one of those miracle unicorns that you here about but rarely get the pleasure of experiencing.

We often drive between NH and Long Island and discovered this place by chance. Now we have been making plans to stop here for dinner. It's easy to get to/from I-91, food is always excellent, service is wonderful, and our kids love it. The other night, our fifth or sixth visit, the owner stopped by our table several times and was very friendly, desserts and coffee were on the house. This place is absolutely phenomenal! We went here with a group of 6 on a Sunday evening to celebrate a graduation and everything was wonderful ... from the ambiance to the food to the service. Donovan was our waiter and he blew us out of the water. It was the best service any of us had ever had. Talk about being the best at whatever you do, Donovan truly knows how to do just that and leave a lasting impression. He knew the menu inside and out, was full of suggestions, and made us feel right at home. His energy was contagious and made the night even better than it was when we walked in. We came on a Wednesday for a 7:00 pm reservation. We were seated quickly and the servers were friendly, despite there being a full restuarant. There is a nice wine selection and the waiter was knowledgeable about the selections. The appetizers arrived quickly and the flavor/taste was alright. (Crab cakes, calamari and sweet potato ravioli) I had the filet which was perfectly cooked and quite flavorful. Paired with absolutely delicious sauteed shataki mushrooms. At the end of the meal they gave us little bags of biscotti. Which I had the next morning with my coffee. They were a delightful treat.

Long ago, I had tried the White Chocolate Mouse from Chef Dave and was stunned in my seat with the incredible flavor it provided me. I recently returned with for a 6 year anniversary with my lady and was once again blown away by this place. This time was different. It wasn't just the mouse that blew me away, the entire evening has gone down in my books as the most fantastic service and food combination that I can recall in my lifetime. Our server Daniel, who we've had before, was extremely personable and remembered us from months back as though it were yesterday. The food from Chef Dave, including that most impressive steak with a white peppercorn sauce that had such a flavor combination, I can't even describe in words how good it was. Jimmy, one of the owners, I was lucky enough to have a bit of personal conversation with - his personality and approachability really put the entire experience over the top. Of course I topped it all off with another helping of White Chocolate Mouse that blew my mind, but even before I got to dessert, I cannot say so have ever had such a wonderful combination of experiences that I will remember like I did the other night. Truly a place that deserves an infamous 6-stars in the overall satisfaction category. Couldn't have asked for, or even paid, for a better night than that. To Jimmy, Dave, Daniel and the rest of the staff, we cannot thank you enough for that memorable night. You will be seeing much more of us in the future. Salute!

Salute is a frequent choice in the rotating series of restaurants I go to when visiting Hartford. The menu mostly consists of Italian-American standards like gnocchi with pesto/chicken, chicken Parmesan, shrimp scampi, etc.Even though it's rare that you'll find something that I consider particularly creative or inventive, I've also very rarely been disappointed with whatever I choose to get. Everything is consistently well cooked and seasoned which I think alone is worthy of praise.

This place kills me! The service is awesome. We went for my birthday and they treated my wife and I like rock stars. We left with free dessert for my in laws who watched our babies while we partied for the first time in 7 months. The food was fantastic. The Shrimp Fra Diablo was great and incorporated green olives. The salt and brine from the olives was an awesome mix to the shrimp and pasta and sausage. My rum and coke was nearly all rum, exactly what I wanted. My wife's pommatini was great she said. The service was over the top. Several of the staff stopped by to make sure we were doing well, got to know us a little and made us feel at home. It was very comforting. Always consistent food. Right quality, right price, right quantity. There is no competition to their “Soon to be famous garlic bread”, which by the way is already famous. Their house bread comes with a sundried tomato cream cheese, which also is one of a kind I have had in Hartford. Working in downtown, I keep going there pretty often. My husband and I tried this place last night for a very rare "date night". We're both full time working parents of a 1 1/2 year old with another on the way, so these nights are coveted. I had read amazing reviews of this restaurant and was excited to go. We consider ourselves "foodies" and have been to most of the high end restaurants in the area. When we arrived, right on time for our reservation, we stood at the host station for about 3 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We were seated in a very small side room, which didn't give us much of the restaurant ambience, but was okay. We started with the Mussel app, which was decent, a creamy, white broth, but nothing special. We also ordered the cheesy bread, which was amazing. I could have just eaten that the whole night and have been happy! My husband had the hanger steak with mashed potatoes, again just ok, potatoes very bland and nothing special. I had the diver scallops with shrimp fried rice. It was very salty, the rice wasn't anything I couldn't get at a Chinese or Thai restaurant and the scallops were again, just ok. Our server was very dry and short, did his job, but not personable. Honestly, I really wanted to go crazy over this restaurant, but it just didn't do it for us. Maybe it was what we ordered? I wouldn't say I'd never go back, but with a number of really great restaurants in and around Hartford and West Hartford, this wouldn't be a top spot for me. Maybe we'll try again in the future.

Our first visit after the TSO show at the XL Center. Very good service, pleasant and efficient. Food was excellent with filling portions. Being very close to the XL Center they are sensitive to the schedule. If you visit after your show they do not rush and make you feel comfortable. Nice place will visit again.

Salute has a special place in my heart. I've lived downtown for 3 years and no restaurant has really made me feel so much at home like Salute does. The food is delicious, the staff are excellent, and the happy hour is a week day must! What more could you ask for! My personal favorite is the chicken a la bella, it's gotten to the point where the staff makes fun of me for never changing my order. If you go make sure to say hi to jimmy he is the man.

Stopped in on a trip back from Boston and was pleasantly surprised. The short rib was so tender and the broccoli rabe with sausage was just right. Not to mention the great bread and roasted tomato butter to start us off. I was very satisfied. Food is very good, but the service is exceptional. Do get at least one order of cheesy garlic bread. They are great about moda and subs to menu items (try spaghetti squash instead regular spaghetti). A local gem.

This place was awesome. We went there on a recommendation from a local while we were up in Connecticut. It's a crazy, bustling, joint but it's classy and the food is fantastic. The staff is super friendly. If I lived closer, I'd go often. I would definitely put it on your list of places to go if you're in the area. I would encourage you to make a reservation. They stay pretty busy

After an afternoon of Christmas lights in Hartford, we were tired and hungry and looking for something new. We found it when we were directed to Salutes .No reservation but the staff quickly informed us of an available table for four in a few minutes. Busy staff but so pleasant and our dinners were superb. Scallops, filet of beef and vodka penne were the choices of the evening. Great service and the atmosphere was casual Elegance. We will return.

Great experience here, whether it's just yourself coming in for a drink at the bar or sitting down for dinner with a large group. The food is always cooked perfectly and the menu is diverse. Love this place. Good location near the XL Center, the park the ball field the Bushnell and much of downtown. There is a parking lot right next door. The staffs is terrific and the food is delicious. There is a bar area as well as the restaurant area.

We had a wonderful experience at Salute last night. The food was fantastic (we had the cheesy garlic bread as a starter and I had the pork tenderloin, for dessert we shared tiramisu and pumpkin crème brûlée). I spilled sauce on my outfit and the waiter immediately came over with a Tide Pen (awesome). Before dessert, my boyfriend proposed to me, the restaurant spelled out ‘congratulations’ on the dessert plates, gave us two glasses of sparkling wine and a gift card to come back! They made us feel very special, and we are already discussing hosting our rehearsal dinner there. It was an unforgettable night, thank you SO much!

I've dined here for lunch and dinner, for business, solo, and with friends. It's a cute restaurant with good service and a solid menu for what the place and city is. The issue is that the food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's good, and other times you wonder if the chef had a bad day. Ingredient accommodations are a challenge as the menu is limited in actual ingredients, but they're always wiling to try. Try the cheesy garlic bread, the one item that's always amazing. They're not able to handle when the resto is at capacity well, so stay away on nights when there's an activity at the XL Center or if you see a crowd through the windows.

The dinner was fantastic as well as dessert. Outside on the patio is more casual dining. Dogs are allowed at the patio dining and the restaurant also provides water bowls for your pet if needed. Service was helpful, timely, polite and overall amazing. I dont normally review resturaunts but Salute warranted it! 10/10 would do again.

Wonderful wonderful experience here! I had a 7:30 reservation and we arrived around 7:40, but they weren't able to seat us until around 7:50 because a large party was sitting around a lot longer than expected. The manager came over several times to apologize, and immediately when he sat us, he offered me free wine and my boyfriend free beer. The dinner was delicious and came out quickly. My boyfriend asked for bread to dip in his pasta sauce, and they gladly brought a whole loaf out of delicious bread. At the end, they gave us a whole bag of free biscotti to take home AND another free loaf of garlic bread! Great location (right on the park, with indoor or outdoor seating), great food, and GREAT customer service! This restaurant has put in a lot of effort to earn every 5 star rating they got on here.

Lovely experience, can't wait to go back. The place itself is quite quaint with an urban outside seating area. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and there's a comprehensive wine selection. A bit on the pricier side honestly but no complaints as far as preparation presentation and taste goes.

This was quite possibly the best restaurant I've ever been to... We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday, a party of three, and I had not made a reservation. The restaurant was packed. The hostess tried her best to find us a table, but wasn't able to. She told us there would be a long wait and was very apologetic. She even tried to make recommendations for other restaurants in the area. We left, feeling a little bummed, and were slowly walking back toward our cars, when we heard somebody calling after us. It was one of the Salute employees, waving us back. He told us that a table for two had just opened up, but if we didn't mind they could squeeze an additional seat in for us. This blew my mind! What incredible customer service! The interior is lovely- stylish but comfortable and inviting. The staff- every single person we spoke to- was welcoming, friendly, and just plain nice. The food was fantastic! I have Celiac Disease and have to eat gluten free. Their GF pasta was delicious. The crème brûlée was a dream. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend!

I've read great reviews of Salute on Yelp, but will have to agree to disagree with my fellow Yelpers. Overall, the food was slightly below average for most people at the table. For me specifically, the food was terrible. I had the crab cake for an appetizer, which was bland - even when I tried to soak in as much of the sauce as possible. My chicken gnocchi was saltier than seawater. One bite of it and my blood pressure skyrocketed. So, one dish was under seasoned and the other was poorly seasoned. Not a great first impression.

One of the best Italian places I have visited in a long time. I went with a party of 6 people and everyones meal was amazing! In particular, the pork loin was the best pork I have ever had. To top it off, the staff is very friendly, and are very professional. The manager himself checked up on us to make sure that we were completely satisfied, and was willing to do whatever was nessary to make the experence perfect. We were able to get a seat immediately thanks to the quick acting staff and managers, but if possible I would recommend making reservations ahead of time. Also, if you park in the public garage next to the business, tell one of the staff members there and they will validate your parking ticket, which will reduce the cost of parking by 50%.

We were at a private luncheon and the buffet featured many of their dishes. Meat balls, calamari, and sweet potato ravioli appetizers were delicious. Main course was Rose Tortalini, Chicken Picata bites , salmon, grilled vegetables and rigatoni. Had them all. Servers were very attentive too.

Stopped here with some friends on the way through town. This place has amazing customer service and the food is just wonderful. We got the pasta ala vodka with blackened chicken and the ragu bolognese...both were delicious. The strawberry creme brulee was the perfect ending to a great meal. The owner even gave us some biscotti for the rest of our drive. Highly recommend this place.
