Very nice diner has great food, I would highly recommend anyone looking who has never been here. Lots of seating in the front and back sections. I had the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and eggs and it was wonderful. My wife loved her 5 cheese omelette as well

Please like us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN Well this one is a little difficult. After checking the reviews on several restaurants, we decided on this one. Upon arriving it looked like a good choice as there were several people going in and out. Our server was friendly and helpful. We decided to split the turkey club sandwich, spent extra on waffle fries (asked for extra frying to crisp) and I added a bowl of chili. We finished with coconut cream pie. The turkey was not deli meat but fresh thick cut roasted, tender and jucy. The sandwich was good except the fact that the cook burnt one piece of toast. This should have never made the plate. NO excuse for that. The waffle fries were not crispy as requested but were ok. The chili was what I call northern chili with beans and large chunks of tomato but it was what I expected and I enjoyed it very much. The coconut cream pie had really good filling but the crust seemed to be a frozen shell that was never cooked. Browned it would have added flavor and made this a really good pie. Overall, mostly good so I would try it again. They just need to put a little more care into it. Update on owner questions. Yess all issues were mentioned to server.

This WAS my favorite breakfast spot until this morning 10-15-22. We came for breakfast my Girlfriend asked for hash browns extra crispy and they served these with the excuse that they couldn't get them anymore crispy..... Uh hello your cooking the just keep doing that. Service was great as always except this unexpected thing so that's why I gave three stars. If you come in I guess don't ask for anything crispy.

Best breakfast spot in Fargo. I went there for the first time today and my high expectations were exceeded, even after seeing the great reviews! The atmosphere is great and the food even better. They were very busy yet still were able to seat us, take our orders and deliver our food in a very timely manner. Every included item was cooked to perfection. Crispy hash browns, perfect over easy eggs, tender yet not chewy bacon, and the subbed pancakes for toast were delicious as well.

We have eaten at Deaners Diner over the past several years. Service is good. Food us good. Prices are reasonable and portions are adequate. We had a midweek lunch this time. My wife ordered the chef salad and I ordered the noon special which happened to be meatballs. The place was busy and they did not seem to be staffed as well as usual. Our waitress did not return to fill the coffee. I was disappointed in the special. Portion was light and quality was not to par with past experiences. I've ordered this special before and it was less price, better quality and larger portion. Perhaps they were just having an off day or maybe they have succumbed to the environment.

The food was great, but it took a little to get the food. Updated: Hubby and I went back recently.. Extremely polite staff. Food was super quick! Only issue, they served me old bacon. Hubby worked at a restaurant before, so he had some insight. It looked like it had been under warming lights for awhile. Everything else was excellent!!!

I'm from NJ where we have diners all over the state. Moving out here i really missed the home cooked food you can only get at diners. Well now I can have that in West Fargo! Finally stopped at deaner's Diner and it was amazing. The food was great, prices were fair and the service was perfect! I'll definitely be back. The kids meals are served in cardboard cars that my kids loved!! Can't wait to visit again and try their breakfast!

This Place is Amazing, the Woman are very welcoming and work well together. They are quick on the refills and the food is top notch! Will be going weekly. Get in early they close at 1pm on Saturday and are currently closed on Sundays.

Great food, with everything home-made. The staff is very attentive and efficient, and the atmosphere is fun and nostalgic. Pretty busy at 8 am, but much quieter at Dinner time. The hot caramel roll was fantastic!

After hearing rave reviews, my extended family and I went on a Saturday morning to give it a try. Two things running against a really good review is that is was on a Saturday morning, probably their busiest time, and a group of 6 of us, adding to the chaos. The server got to our table promptly, and served us coffee fairly quickly. We ordered, and it was quite a while before the food came to the table. Several order of biscuits and gravy were served, and they all had cold gravy on them, with a skin forming on the surface. That indicates to me that the food was ready for a while, but it was delayed getting to the table. A quick microwave brought the temperature up, but the taste was sub par. I had eggs and has browns. Both were pretty good, but not hot off the stove. Again. Busy, busy. And the server was trying her best.

The very best diner food in West Fargo! Amazing food, friendly, speedy service. The very best sweet potato fries (make sure to try them with caramel sauce!), and tried and true breakfast food. The diner has very fun atmosphere, with cool tin signs, rock and roll memorabilia, and the wait staff have great, humorous t-shirts. (TODDLE IN. GOBBLE UP. WOBBLE OUT.) My only complaint is that they are not open 24/7! Heehee!

This diner came highly recommended by some great friends of mine who go there often, and I can fully see why. Deaner's Diner not only has a fun, family friendly, classic diner feel to it, but the staff are wonderful, interactive and attentive. And then there's the food...oh man, the food! Delicious, hearty, home cooked style food, and the caramel rolls...well, you better get them while you can, because boy do they go fast! You won't want to miss an opportunity to take your family or a few close friends and enjoy a fantastic breakfast on a lazy Saturday morning and take a trip down 'Memory Lane', as my favorite sign there says. 10 out of 10 stars from this gal!

Lovely place, that's definitely off the beaten path. Found it by searching. I'm not usually a biscuits and gravy person but I tried it and it was absolutely amazing. Very tasty, the biscuits were fresh, it was an awesome breakfast. You have to go there

This place is exactly what we were looking for. It was too early for beers so breakfast was the plan. Tucked away over in West Fargo, Deaner's Diner was easy to find and not too busy at 9:30 on a Wednesday morning. There is a good amount of parking directly out front, as well as a big lot across the street. They have what you need for breakfast and lunch too. Not to mention pie that might give you MN North Shore flashbacks. I went for the biscuits and sausage gravy and she had eggs -n- bacon with a side of fries and gravy. We left we served and pleasantly satisfied. 100% will return with reinforcements.

I was in ND from MS visiting my husband who is there on a work project. I went there my first day in Fargo and literally went 5 or 6 times during the 2 weeks that I was there. We during breakfast, lunch, and dinner times. I fell in love with the place. The energy there is um... different... I'd say LOL but the food was great every time!!!

I love this place! Never ever had bad food....had breakfast which is always great....but hard to choose. Took home 3 pc of pie! Can't leave without. Sour cream raisin! Strawberry rhubarb! We were there on a Sat and thought we could have lunch but was unaware that they only do breakfast. That was perfectly fine as it was one of the best meals I have ever had!! They were packed and possibly shortstaffed. The staff was great about being upfront on how long the wait on food would be and kept our drinks full. Delicious! The portion sizes are perfect. I was filled to being stuffed but not beyond. I enjoyed my supreme omelet, American fries (well browned on one side, soft center), and sourdough toast. The coffee was plentiful and good. Thank you for a great breakfast!

Dinner's diner is a cool place. I went there because of their story on only in your state north dakota. However I went because I wanted to try the soup that was in that story and it said they had it. Well they don't. They only serve it on Fridays. But I had a caramel roll and it was good and the service was great and it's a really cute place

Walking through that door was like going back in time. Deaner’s Diner has a retro feel from the booths you sit in to the records hanging on the wall. The service was AMAZING, Andrea greeted us with a smile and made us feel very welcome. The food was warm and fast. With pancakes the size of my head I knew I wasn’t going home without leftovers. The raisin toast with honey was a neat side choice. Next time I'll order the waffle as it looked a little yummier than my scrambled eggs and hashbrowns which were not spectacular but good.

I have 2 ratings. 1st the food was good and staff fast and friendly. 5 stars for that. Now with covid-19 I would rate I star. No social distancing of tables or booths. When I was there every table and booth were full and I had to wait 10 minutes for a table to open. ( I have zero problem waiting to a table) the tables were quickly cleaned with the same rag. I know these are difficult times for businesses which is why I frequent them. So if you're covid-19 concerned this might not be the place to visit. With all that being said I would definitely go back!!!! We NEED to support our local businesses.

IMPRESSIVE!!! My husband and I visited at around 12:30pm on a Friday. The line was out the door into the entry way and it still only took 5 min to get seated. We had drinks almost immediately and ordered shortly after. I think our food arrived in less than 15min which was crazy fast given how packed the place was. I had the sausage skillet and my husband the meat lovers omelette- both fantastic! We shared a Carmel roll, which was worth every calorie...lol. As a business owner myself, I was most blown away at how accommodating and attentive the staff was. Everyone was working, busting it, communicating and working together. They refilled our drinks, checked in, cleared plates and were overall warm and friendly. Congrats to owners...wow, your place rocks! We can’t wait to return:-)

In all the years we have been going to Deaner's (and before TNT), we only had one "bad" experience, but it was remedied right away. The management and owners really care about you having a great experience and enjoying your food. The wait staff is always nice and helpful and the food is great. This is our favorite restaurant to go to on a regular basis. Breakfast is usually our go to, but their other dishes are great as well!

Wow, I've been longing for classic diner food and for once I am pleased. I had the hot roast beef and rhubarb crisp. YUM. My other half loved their burger and fries with the bread pudding. The staff was kind and attentive. We will be making this a weekly stop for sure.

I've went there several times now and I think the food is really good and the service is really nice also. Great diner style atmosphere! The only reason I give this a 4 star review is that I think its a little expensive for what you get with your meal. I think I paid a little over $13, without a tip, for a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. I was a little disappointed with the amount of fries that were given. But still very good food overall.

I went to Deaner's for the first time yesterday and had the same roast beef sandwich that another reviewer said was awful. I thought it was delicious! Real roast beef, 2 cheeses, mayo, and tomato along with a cup of loaded baked potato soup and a cup of good coffee for under $10. To me this place is a great value and I will be back many times. We've been to Deaner's Diner several times prior to writing this review. The times were varied for a more accurate assessment. Upon entering you will definitely notice the nostalgic red and white decor with shifts between old Hollywood and race car themed. I like the decor! It's always nice to have something of interest to talk about/look at whilst waiting for your entrees. There is a laid back air to this place - reminiscent of days gone by, or places off the beaten path 😊 That being said the servers are probably not what you'd regularly get from a chain restaurant. You get the feeling the customer base here is largely frequent flyer. There were a few first name basis greetings exchanged. This DID leave one feeling like the obvious "stranger in town"- as the long comfortable exchanges between the regulars and servers left me hanging for unnoticed drink refills. My dinner(supper)entree was the ribs which were not to my liking. I had ordered them as I'd seen they'd had received a local accolade for them. However, my personal preference is done until fall off the bone and seasoned at least a little whilst cooking. Unfortunately, these were just plain and topped with a cold sauce before serving. My side vegetable was a bland mashed squash which was soft enough for a baby or nursing home. To end on a good note...when we had sandwiches for lunch - they were very fresh, tasty and delicious!

Was really busy during lunch hour which is good for any business, but I got my meal pretty late. They apologized for that. Okay parking, depending on the time of day or day of the week. Friendly, fast and delicious! -1st visit. Had to edit to reflect our visit today 6-23-18 Our server was Katie. Food came out quick and was just ok, Katie on the other hand, not so great. Never came back for refills on coffee or soda. Instead she and another 2 servers stood behind the counter discussing their party plans for the evening. You could hear them loud and clear. They discussed how they weren't going to get as wasted as they did last weekend or the weekend before that, how many shots they were going to do and that they hoped it was going to be a super fun night! Super annoying, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Looks like you need to hire an adult to babysit the kids. Wont be back!

I had one the deans skillet with soft poached eggs and toast 10.00 dollars was exactly what I was looking for in a meal from a diner, everything was cooked properly which was good knowing poached eggs are rather easily over cooked, waitresses were friendly and great with a coffee pot, definitely will visit again.

Deaner's Diner is a bit off the beaten path, but the restaurant is well worth it. My wife and I have been very satisfied with each visit. Great attentive personal service, good portions and food quality. This is truly a family owned and operated eatery. There is a story behind Deaner's Diner. It used to be called TNT's Diner.
