We came here on a Tuesday morning and loved this place. The atmosphere was so cozy and chill, and the waiters are very friendly. I love their lox crepe. We also got the butter me up and the honey truffle. Loved the taste of sweet and savory and the layers of texture in the honey truffle. Their crepe are so good. The flavors blend in together perfectly.

My husband and I were in the city and wanted to grab something to eat. I was craving crepes and happened to pick this place out by random and I'm so happy I did. This place is a gem and by far the best crepe shop I’ve been to! The crepes are big, fulfilling, and delicious. We ordered the Matcha Made in Heaven, Honey Truffle, and Lox Salmon. For drinks, we had the Cardamon Latte. We loved everything and definitely will be coming back!

I was craving crepes and really wanted to try this place. I had the lox crepe. It was fantastic. It was full of flavor, had plentiful of lox and cream cheese. My husband had the butter crepe with strawberries he really liked it. The coffee and lattes were hot and fun. Great place to eat. I’ll always come back.

The crepe shop is great! My sibling and I came here after Friday morning swim club. We ordered the honey truffle and berry cheesecake and had absolutely no complaints. It’s a screen free (no laptops or ipads) restaurant, very light air airy inside, and the crepes were delicious!

Went here for lunch with a friend and tried the Turkey and spinach crepe and the lox crepe. The crepe itself was soft and delicate, and served as a great vessel for the fillings. I also got the cardamom-rose latte, and it was delicious! You order at the counter and then find your own seating within. Your order will be called for pick up. The interior has a tropical and beach-y vibe. I love the spread of foliage and ceiling windows that fill the space with natural light. Will definitely be returning to try the sweet crepes :)

Absolutely excellent cafe and crepe shop in the Lake View neighborhood of Chicago. The coffee is great but as their namesake suggests, the crepes here are absolutely phenomenal. Whether you choose a savory or sweet crepe, you'll love the offerings that The Crepe Shop bestows upon its patrons. It's a no screens cafe, meaning no laptops or iPads, encouraging people to hang out, read a book, play a game or just indulge in some wonderful crepes!

I had the Matcha made in heaven. Excellent! If you don't LOVE sweet try another choice. I enjoyed the screen free environment. Atmosphere is great. Friendly service! Also note, no cash, credit/debit cards only.

Quiet and cozy place. The menu is limited to crepes (both sweet and not sweet) and coffee. It's a self-service restaurant: you order, get a buzzer, after it buzzes you pick your food, then you clean up dishes at the end of the counter. Therefore it is a little surprising to be asked 15, 20 or 25% tip. The food was good, the prices were fair, the coffee was terrific.

Great place for brunch or breakfast. I've visited this establishment a total of 4 times.I ordered the Is wildberry crape, shot of espresso, a lavender latte, and a regular latte on the different occasions i visited. The scervice is great and friendly, the environment is very relaxing. It's a screen free zone, meaning laptop work isn't encouraged. Will visit again when I'm in town

Love it! The environment is bright and beautiful inside with plenty of seating. The cafe is computer-free, so I wouldn’t come here to do work.. Either way, the crêpes and coffee were delicious. I split the Nutella, banana, and strawberry and the strawberry matcha crepes with my mom and also got the rose cardamom latte. Everything was so good and the crepes are pretty hefty portions. No complaints! Give this place a visit for sure :-)

My friend and I had savory crepes today (lox and ham & cheese), and we were fully satisfied with our choices 🥰 I do want to come back to try their sweet crepes again, and the ambience is beautiful for dining with your friends — if you do like crepes, try this place out!

A place for Crepes! When I think of Crepes, I think of a small, cozy french style café, however this is actually a larger more modern style place so the atmosphere felt a little off for me. However, the prices are good and food was excellent. It's a snack, so don't expect to have a full belly afterwards, crepes are naturally light.

It's a cute little cafe. Friend ordered the matcha crepe and loved it. I ordered the honey truffle crepe and it was also pretty delicious and unique flavour. Absolutely loved the rose cardamom latte too, one of my new favs <3 I'd go back but it's definitely a spot for just crepes.

Such a delight😍 The vibe, food and drinks everything was just perfect for a morning brunch. We ordered both savoury and sweet crepes along with Latte’s. Its was hard to pick which was our most favourite. The portions looked small in the photo’s but one crepe per person along with a latte or any other drink would be enough as they a filling. Can’t wait to visit the Crepe Shop again. A must try!

My daughter loves Crepes and I decided to try this place. We absolutely loved it. The shop has a relaxing aura. The decor has swinging chairs, trees, some plants and open space. It made me feel like I was sipping coffee surrounded by nature. There is no free wifi so it promotes conversation not distraction. As of June 2022, The prices range from $5.50 for specialty coffee, to $11 for the Nutella with strawberries crepe. They have a wild blueberry cheesecake crepe that sounds interesting. The crepes are delicious. I ordered the Nutella with strawberries. The Nutella was melted and the strawberries complemented the flavor. I tried there Vanilla bean coffee and it was delicious, it is not super sweet, so if you like sweet just add some sugar. I posted my favorite meal but you can experiment other delicious options. It is paid street parking. Closed on Saturday and Monday. hours may change. Enjoy the ambience, great food or just drink a cup of coffee to start your day.

Came in here for lunch and to do some work, but noticed that they have a “screen free cafe” policy. The ham and cheese crepe is nice in size and super delicious! I’m definitely coming back to try all of them.

Loved it.. really cute inside for pics. "Matcha made in heaven" was delicious. Sweet enough, without being too much..I got it with peach tea, it was good, but didn't really tasted the peach. My friend got lavender latte, she loved it! Definitely will be coming back!

I changed my mind about this place after today. First of all I came and asked how many minutes I should wait bc I’m really in rush The barista told me around 5 min I said ok After I order 2 crepes and 1 coffee I waited like 15-18 minutes And I ordered lox It’s not looks like before They gave me just a crape and salmon inside for 13,5$ (don’t remember exactly price) And I don’t like it Not one star because I loved this place and used to come every week 2 times! I will come one more time, if it’s gonna be same thing I will change my review completely

The crepes are a great size and delicious! Eating on Broadway is always a treat. The seating is very limited as it's a popular place, so it's difficult to get a table. You order at the front and they give you a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready- a great system! The crepes are light, thin and the fillings really make it. Bathroom often has a line, it's a popping place!

One of the best crepes I’ve had. Found this place while in the area. The crepes were delicious. Perfect spot for a weekend brunch. A must visit spot in chicago! We ordered the Nutella crepe with banana, Matcha and Turkey & Spinach. Both the sweet and the savory crepes we ordered were equally delish. Will definitely be going back to try some of the other crepes on the menu.

This Place is EVERYTHINGG!!!!! I had the wild berry cheese crepes it was just out of the world. And the lattes are too too good. I had the rose cardamon latte and my husband had the lavender latte both was herbal and refreshing.This place has a great vibe with really unique coffee drinks and food. Can’t wait to come back!

They make some seriously good crepes! My go-to is the Nutella crepe with banana, I don't think I could get tired of it. The fromage a trois is great too, and really rich. The atmosphere is really pleasant with nice decor and good music that fades into the background well, but is interesting to listen to if you pay attention.

Delicious!!! I got the turkey and spinach minus the turkey coz vegetarian. It was absolutely yum! The mushroom gruyere was melty with the added cheese, the onions were cooked perfectly. And of course the crepe was perfect. Next time I'll be trying the sweet crepes!!

Had 2 matcha crepes, a lox crepe, and the Turkey and spinach (with an egg on top). Also had a lavendar latte and mocha latte with beautiful latte art. We got a seahorse on one!!! Everyone is really nice there and it makes sense as to why one of my friends makes it a regular spot for her. Their self service areas are well set up and easy to understand.

5 star everything. Perfect place for light meal, coffee break or dessert after dinner. Delicious crepe and coffee. The sweetness of their sweet crepe is perfect, most places have too sweet, The Crepe Shop have it just right. I asked for less sweet in my lavender latte, and it came out just the way I like it with a picture ready latte art. Comfortable seating and friendly staff. Will definitely be back for more.

Great coffee, we had the Cortado. Wonderful crêpe smell as soon as you walk in and wonderful crepes as well. A lovely feel to the café, really tall ceilings, lots of real green plants and a neat skylight. Very good prices on crepes.

Took 20 mins for crepe & latte, seemed others were getting theirs faster, may have been a fluke. Nutella w/ banana crepe was yummy - bananas seemed extra soft but worked well. Honestly, it's overrated. Sort of unworkable to order food before seating is available. It wasn't available for us when the food was ready. Crepes are not very delicate. Sort of an americanized version. Also a weird burnt crepe smell in the space that was intense. I would not recommend.

Wow - I highly recommend the crêpe with hazelnut. Also, the lattes are just fantastic. This is a really cute place to take a guest or meet a friend. The vibe is really low-key and the food is high-quality. TIP: tables are communal so you might be sitting directly next to someone else. I love that about the place. It’s very neighborhoody.

I am a the biggest fan of this Coffee place. They have the most authentic and simple coffee and crepe menu in Chicago. There service clean, transparent and friendly. They have simple interior and thise swings un store rock. They bave decent flavor and not just simple banana, strawberry and nutella crepe. They have pistachio and blueberry flavor. Aftwr a brunch here every cafe on broadway street seems amateur.

I got super excited when I passed by this place one morning and finally got to trying it. It was REALLY great, and I've already gone back once after my first visit. The Ham & Cheese crepe sounds really basic, but it might be my favorite one, especially when topped off with an egg! The Lox crepe is also really good, and has a really delicious and herby cream cheese. If you're more into the sweet stuff, the Nutella and banana crepe is a must try! And I can't not highlight how super friendly and great the crew is!

We are huge fans of crepes and leave so many places disappointed. This is NOT the case with The Crepe Shop. These were 100% the best crepes we've ever had and the coffee was high on the list as well. We loved it so much we went back the next morning as well! The staff were all friendly, we had a great time hearing about the story of opening the shop. If you are a crepe lover, you must check this place out! Everything is made to order, super fresh, and delicious. The staff is very attentive, helpful and friendly. The Crepe Shop just opened this week, and I have already been there twice. The first time we took our crepes to go, the second time we ate there. Definitely recommend eating there since they are best fresh right off the grill! So far, have tried the Nutella Crepes with bananas and strawberries, and the Wildberry Crepes with cream cheese. Oh and their coffee is even better, the best latte I have had in a long time. The inside is really modern and nice looking. This definitely is my new place for a quick lunch with amazing coffee.

!!! The best crêpes I've around Chicago! Really small place but everything was made to order. The matcha one was really the best! Strong matcha flavor, but a bit too much pistachios on top, otherwise it is a nice addition to the flavor. Lavender latte was average, but it wasn't bad at all. I love lavender so I could use a bit more of its flavor.

Excellent, gourmet crepes. Restaurant is set in a modern, beautiful location. Decorations and environment is highly enjoyable. Service is excellent. Coffee is phenomenal. I had the Nutella with banana and the multi berry cheesecake crepes along with a lavender vanilla latte. All three were excellent in taste. Highly recommend.

Super sweet people. Honestly I would come back just for them even if the food wasn't good (BUT IT IS). Also the decor is beautiful. Fresh plants hang from the walls and the natural light is plenty. Also the plates they use to serve the crepes on are super cute looking. The seating is a little weird in that there's only one long bench for one side of the table so if it were really crowded there would be a lot of awkward shuffling, but I came when it was nearly empty so it was fine. For the food I saw the nutella latte and immediately had to get it. This girl easily has the biggest sweet tooth of all time. Did not regret that at all. I was 100% on board with only drinking nutella lattes from this point onward. We also got a Honey Truffle crepe. I was a bit hesitant to not get a sweet crepe, but this pairing between the sweet drink and savory crepe was so worth it. Every bite of the crepe was perfect. This could go down in history as the best crepe place in Chicago.

This is the go-to place for crepes and coffee! Great menu options with both savory and sweet crepes. The lox crepe was so good I had to order another one! If you like Nutella, the Nutella latte was also yummy, but be prepared, it’s very sweet. We ordered two Nutella lattes, two lox crepes, and a Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas. Each pictured below. The staff are friendly and have great customer service! I’d recommend this place to anyone! Definitely worth it!

OH MY GOD!!! I was craving crepes for quite a bit and found this AMAZING place. I do 1000000% recommend it!!! The crepes were extremely delicious, they had just perfect amount of everything - Nutella, strawberries, etc. Ordered two lattes - they tasted really god, not too sweet, just perfect! Only two things kind of bothered me: 1. please don't sweep/mop floors while clients enjoy their meals. I could see all the dust flying around my super delicious crepes; 2. it was pretty hot & stuffy inside, and the moment I started eating I got super sweaty - please adjust the temperature inside:) Will definitely come back!!! Lovely shop with a very cute interior and lots of natural light and plant decor. It's great for book reading or small social meetups, but it is a NO-SCREEN (no laptop, no ipad) cafe. The coffees are beautiful and taste just as good as they look; however, sometimes the staff mixes up between cold vs hot so be sure to specify a few times (they're very sweet, just newer staff).

I love this place!!! This time I came on Sunday for a carry out lunch and the place was packed but the staff was very accommodating and remembered the order exactly the way I placed. Pro tip: you can ask for whipped cream with no extra charge!! It was so yum and very filling. SUPER HAPPY!!!!!

The cardamom rose latte was fantastic, and the biscoff crepe with strawberries was better than I even anticipated. I'm visiting, but I think I'll return to try the savory crepes before I head home.

Crepes which Gordon Ramsay will have to learn to make cause this was WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. I thought it would be overrated being the #1 crepe shop in the Windy City, but I was so wrong. Turkey and Spinach crepe - I can eat everyday. The Nutella / Banana was hands down many 10-folds better than the Struggle Plate I got in Nutella Cafe the day prior. The Nutella coffee was just the right consistency of everything. All those complainers giving fewer stars about having no bathroom... there are alleys nearby where you can pop a squat, can't be entitled to a bathroom in a small place like this!

This place is a treasure! Perfect crepes, which is not an easy thing to find. The sweet crepes are gorgeous, especially the blueberry cheesecake option, but even the simple butter and sugar is delicious and I add tons of fresh lemon. Easily one of the best crepe places I've been to in a long time if not becoming one of my top crepe places. Savory and dessert crepes are absolutely delicious with some of the best filling combination and quality I've had in a long time. The turkey and spinach was savory with a hint of sweetness from the onion and extra savoryness with either a bechamel or gravy with the filling and greens that helped balanced and bring the whole thing together. I would have ordered more if it weren't for the fact I had other plans tonight. Wild berry cheesecake crepe was as it sounds. Delicious. Had plenty where the crepes were too battery or too eggy where it kind of made the overall combination meh. But here, the crepes themselves were the right balance between egg and batter for their style.

We were so excited when we saw there was a crepe shop opening on Broadway, so when they officially opened we were beyond thrilled! We popped in to see if they had any gluten free crepes, and they said they were in development, but hoped to have them soon. Not too long after their street sign was advertising a gluten free option!!! We rushed in, and ended up ordering FOUR different crepes in our excitement (although they have ~8 in total). Every single one is to die for. The honey truffle is rich, savory, and just the perfect amount of sweet. The ham and cheese (with optional fried egg) has turned my girlfriend into a savory crepe believer, as she'd had a poor experience with a similar one elsewhere. The blueberry cheesecake crepe is AWESOME, and reminiscent of the Toaster Strudel filling of my childhood. The lox crepe is the fun cousin to your classic lox bagel and shmear. The owner is so nice, and always taking the time to chat with us about their coffee (which they take great pride in). It's very quickly become our favorite breakfast spot.

The Crêpe Shop is a fantastic coffee house and crêpery on North Broadway with close proximity to bus stops and the CTA's 'L' light rail service. There was indoor seating for about 16 people, and a table outside that could seat ~8. I ordered a banana Nutella Crêpe and a vanilla bourbon bean latte; the prices were reasonable at $6 + $1 (for bananas) and $5.25, respectively. It is important to note that cash is NOT accepted, and that there are no customer restrooms. My vanilla latte was delicious and even had tiny bits of vanilla bean in it. The banana Nutella Crêpe was also delicious and well-presented on my plate. It tasted like fresh batter, flavorful banana, topped with authentic Nutella spread and powdered sugar. The owner, Marius, was cordial and we spoke for some time. He said he frequently visited coffee shops in the past and decided to open one of his own about 10 months ago. It was clear that Marius and his brother Peter put genuine effort into running the business; both the customer area and what I could see of the food preparation area looked extremely clean and well-maintained.

The Sweet crêpes are pretty similar to back in France. The butter and sugar crêpe is the one I always ordered when I was a kid. The service is also very friendly.

Delicious, duck in out of the heat and you are transported to an "allee tres relaxante" in Paris or perhaps Lyon where it's always evening. The chefs double as servers and seem to enjoy setting down perfectly constructed, delicate yet satisfying plates like the Nutella, bananas, and strawberries i had.
