It has been years since the last time we ate at Perkins. The service was fast, the food very good Daniel was our server. Very efficient and pleasant. My wife.had the breakfast skillet with tater tots, bacon, ham,eggs,gravy.. She was very pleased. My Cheeseburger and fries was cooked to order, juicy and a soft bun. Very good

Who doesn't love fresh baked muffins with a good cup of coffee? If baked isn't your thing, there is a good selection of other things to eat. The servers are friendly, and attentive and food comes to the table reasonably quick. This is a great place for a quick bite or a relaxing meal with friends and family.

Great place to eat. Staff is very, very, very friendly and the food is great. You definitely get what you pay for in quantity and the quality of food is good. We will be going here for Sunday breakfast for awhile now.

Truly a cozy homie feeling. The service makes it even better especially for new comers unsure of the menu. Their bakery section is mouthwatering. The wait time usually goes by quick to sit you down. Despite the open area it's enough to dampen the sounds around where you can hear the other members of your table and not your neighboring tables. That's including children. Prices are extremely reasonable with their food items.

I was greeted with a friendly smile and seated quickly; the food itself tasted good and was filling. Ms. Ann was quick to take my food and drink orders, brought a refill without me needing to ask for it, and was super friendly. Overall a great experience and will definitely come back next time I’m in Cheyenne

Went there yesterday. There was 4 of us. It wasn't quite as busy as it usually is. It was about 11:00 AM. My Sister had a patty melt. Usually there is hamburger,rye bread, cheese & onions. No onions and hamburger tasteless & dry. The teen age boy with us ordered a cheese burger. Tasteless and very dry. Took it home for the dog. Teen boys usually eat anything g. He isn't a picky eater but said it was bad. I was the only one in the 4 that had a decent plate of food because I ordered breakfast. I have been there before and food was fine. I told the hostess when we left and she took off $12 dollars. It was not a pleasant time out because of the food. The service was OK though.

Dropped in for a lite meal of soup & half sandwich. Options available for each and one can add a slice of pie to the meal. We went for the half roast beast sammie & bowl of potato soup. Good sized and very filling. Service was quick as well as polite. Table and cashier areas were clean and nicely kept. Would recommend for families and singles. Inviting atmosphere.

Sometimes it's OK. Sometimes it is just a circus. I had to send my plate back 3 times and then the waitress said she didn't know what to do. I guess that's 300% satisfaction and they only advertise 100% satisfaction. The cook's excuse that items were in the skillet that were asked to not be was it was already on the stove. I said you think it's ok to use a contaminated cooking space and he was ready to throw down.

I have never had a bad meal at the one in Cheyenne. I’ve been to the one in Loveland Co and it was terrible and the help was not interested in working. It’s now closed and I can see why. Cheyenne is top notch and we eat there often. The folks that work there are the best.

It did take some time to get seated. Our waitress was a gem. We had our drinks and then food right away. She took very good care of us. The restaurant is clean, orderly, and pleasant. First time I have eaten out in quite some time.

Update on my previous review... Perkins has contacted me regarding the recent problem with customer service. They were up front about the problem and I accept their explanation of what went wrong. I acknowledge everyone makes mistakes and they are doing the best they can to make it right. I have upgraded my 1 star rating to a 4 star rating. The problem was never about the quality of their food and for me they have a variety of healthy choices that I can eat with my strict diet. I will be going back ( I love the grilled salmon). Poor service, waited close to 15 minutes to get waited on and didn't even get water so we walked out. We were there at 4ish so they weren't that busy. They need a new manager or owner.

Update (8/27/22): It is unfortunate that their cleanliness has gone down. Looking under the tables there is still dirt under tables that were vacant since before we were seated. Disappointed. 😥 The food however was still top quality. Portions were reasonable as well. They are very swift on getting us a table and making sure that we got our drinks and food quickly. The food is very nice. On one meal the meat had a little to much fat on one meal. On another meal the meat was not spread out over the plate well, and could have had more meat on the overall meal as well. However I was very pleased with the service here. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the food. I believe that they stuck to the Perkins mission statement. It is very clean however I would have liked if they had waited a bit more on their cleaning because it makes you feel like you need to eat quickly and get out. I would definitely recommend this place to people looking for a family friendly hearty meal with great service and great staff as well. Very pleased.

Just 3 stars for Perkins. Their breakfast menu is sparse without as many choices as I expected. I chose a skillet breakfast that had a LOT of potatoes and a lot of meat with a tiny dribble of green chili which cost me extra. It was filling and edible but for $16, including coffee, it was mediocre. I won't be going back for breakfast any time soon.

My family and I are frequent visitors to this establishment so we are quite acquainted with their service and their food presentation. With that said, there are zero complaints I can pinpoint with all my visits here. The food is always fresh, our orders are always correct and the staff are always friendly and accomdating to our large family. If you are looking for a quiet, warm and friendly place in Cheyenne for breakfast, lunch or dinner then this is the place to eat at.

Very nice. Burger deal was excellent. $9.99 for a burger, fries and pie. Service was great. Meal was hot and served in a timely manner. Refills on drinks were great. Atmosphere was warm and friendly, not overcrowded. Checkout clerk was friendly.

This restaurant received an 81.5 out of 100 for my score. Our service quality was decent. Took about 30 to 35 minutes to get food, but when we go on a day when they are busier, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes max. Overall the other aspects were pretty good. It almost recieved a 3 star, but thanks to the drink quality round, it got a 4 star, but barely. Hopefully this helps

We love Perkins! The atmosphere is wonderful. The waiters and waitresses are always attentive and friendly. The menu is varied and the food is always delicious. We especially like buy one get one free on Wednesdays. It makes it very affordable for those of us on a fixed budget to get to eat out once in a while.

UPDATE: Great food, great service, Covid protocols enforced (masks, social distancing, sanitizing), floors clean as well as tables cleaned. Much improved from previous experience. ///Food was good but service was slow by server, floors were messy, needed a quick clean, several managers at front but no one really working the floor to ensure smooth service. Would come back again as food is great, but need to expect better delivery of service from ALL staff.

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant twice in one day. For brunch the food was great but whoever prepared my water had dirty hands because there were dirty water splotches on my cup. Also, there was a hair in my hashbrowns. They have excellent deals if you go from 9pm to 10pm. My girlfriend and I both got unlimited pancakes and a large appetizer for under 15 dollars. They also gave us a discount both times we visited which is very nice. No complaints on the dinner.

Not bad but not great. You'd think their was an adjoined retirement home if you didn't know better. The older clientele is probably why a lot of the food is bland. Denny's is probably the better option in town.

I can't really complain about this perkins, as there is not another one near by for comparison. I have had several commendable meals here but today's meal struck out. I have complained to to the staff about their dirty syrup containers and nothing has changed. My eggs were not properly cooked, I was given bacon that was partially raw and the pancakes were not properly cooked either. I do not like pancakes that have a doughy taste. I will eventually return and I would preferred to have left a positive review.

Four of us went in for a late dinner. Everybody had breakfast like items for dinner. We were seated in less than five minutes. The waitress was very nice to us. All of the food was excellent except the white toast that I ordered was kind of hard. I had not gone there since early last year. I think that I would go back again for a late breakfast. 4 stars since the toast was hard. You are doing OK.

Food is always good! Staff is... mediocre at best (hence the 3 star rating). Sometimes you get a half way decent server, but more often than not it is terrible service. I still go because I truly enjoy the food. I have worked food service and know it is a HARD job, so I'm pretty understanding. If you're someone who gets irritated easily with poor wait staff I suggest skipping this Perkins. Go to Penny's Diner around the corner. Food is delicious and I've never ran into server issues there (though it is a very small establishment, not recommended for large groups).

Service wasn't fantastic, table we were sat at wasn't very clean & had to wait forever to get it recleaned (waitress rolled her eyes when I asked for a rag to clean the sticky spot), food was decent but eggs over cooked. We used to go ever other Friday for breakfast & was always great but the last couple of years it has gone down hill. Will never go back for dinner (after 7 pm) as we have done that twice & both times I have received undercooked chicken & pork.

Due to covid and all of the stuff surrounding it tables were not able to be used, which was fine. The food was average and I would honestly give my waitress a raise if I could. Hostess was the nastiest piece of work ever. Rude to my dad who has social anxiety when sitting in the middle of an open area. And she just practically told us to f off and then dashed the hell out if the dining area to the kitchen. I really didnt appreciate that.

Our server, Lucy, was awesome! Our food was very good too! When we went to pay the bill however, the gal who rang us up was very grouchy. She was upset that we were splitting the bill. Then we asked to buy some of the bakery items, she acted like she was inconvenienced. To top it off, she didn't get that order right and acted like it was our fault. I hope she has a better day.

Great food and service. Kiddos have quite a selection to choose from. My kiddos love the rainbow pancakes. Which is pancakes with sprinkles and whip cream. You get coffee and a little jug so you dont have to constantly ask for a refill. I love French vanilla creamer and that is exactly what they have on the table for the coffee. We have been there twice this trip and was not disappointed either time. Family friendly for sure. Def would go here above all else while in town

We were new to Perkins. We hit 3 on our trip. While the service was good at all 3, the menus differed and so did ambiance and palatability if food. First probably a 5 out of 5 stars next a 4 last one a 3. Not complaining just saying, consistency will get and keep customers.

I didn't used to like this place. They were just okay. But over the past couple of years they have completely revamped their menu. Plus, if you sign up for their rewards program you get bogo Wednesday coupons emailed to you. It's not just an ordinary breakfast place anymore.

Even though this "happening" little coffee shop is tucked away off of the highway, it has great signs directing you quickly to it so you can enjoy your favorite foods. The wait staff is delightful and efficient. The food is delicious and plated to please the most discriminating palate.

Very polite employee's & the wait wasn't too long. Our waitress took care of our family of 8 on Fathers Day, the place was packed, she did not miss nor make any mistakes to all meals. I have severe food allergies/intolerances, and the server was careful to make notes, and I could hear her talking to the cook about my dietary needs. I don't eat out often because of these issues, but color me impressed. I'm certain that when my meal comes it will be safe, which is actually more important to me than flavorful. Oh, if management is reading this, I don't want to post her name, but it starts with a "D", and we visited January 31 at 6:00 am.

The apple pie was really good! The chicken, bacon, broccoli, rice platter was quite tasty. The dining room table set up though was awful, narrow aisles and in cafeteria style rows a real challenge to navigate. Where I was sitting I kept getting a not so nice bathroom whiff. Our waitress was okay and did the best she could, the hostess however was a good deal less than classy and the restuarant must be the favorite for the geriatrics crowd. Haven't eaten at a Perkins in 4 years and I had my memory jogged as to why.

The waitresses, service, and food were great. On the other hand, a guy named Les was very rude and every time he passed our table he scowled and sighed really loudly. He also sat down and talked to this one lady and talked smack about all the wonderful waitresses. We arrived almost an hour before they closed and its definitely not the way to act to your customers and employees.

Everyone loves a breakfast they don't have to cook. Good food, friendly staff, decent coffee, awesome muffins. This one was remodeled a couple years ago. Looks nice and has a large older crowd who frequents for brunch.

Haven't been to a Perkins in forever and was reminded why I haven't been in years. Our waitress was great but it appeared that they were understaffed. Food of course was basic. For the price, I would prefer to grab breakfast from a coffee shop.

One thing you can get at Perkins is a huge eclair. The wait staff is usually pretty fast at seating you and taking care of you. I usually don't stray too far away from the breakfast food because the few times I did, and went for sea food, I got very disappointed. Like I said before, as with most diners, you can get yourself a nice helping of Pie or other desserts afterwards.
