Reviews of Luxury Diner
Albert Emery
Great breakfast. It was very filling and flavorful. The place has more of a country feel to it being that you are out of the city. I was visiting Denver and coming into this place was refreshing.
Cool atmosphere on the outside too. There is a railroad crossing to symbol cheyenne's railroad history.
Overall, this place gets 5 stars.

All around awesome I will be back cant wait. Service was awesome even got to talk to the cook. Prices where fair. Food was excellent I got the chicken fried steak skillet huge portion gravy was spot on. The restaurant decor was beautiful loved the feeling on just being in the place great for a family meal.

Loved the atmosphere! Our waitress was so awesome!! Got us fresh coffee and answered all of our questions. Despite having a big family (which turns some waiters off) she was very kind and upbeat. The food was yummy and we are looking forward to coming again.

We love this cute diner in Cheyenne. We stopped here for breakfast to get our road trip off to a great start. We ate here 4 years ago, we loved it then and it is just as good now! We sat in the caboose section, it’s cozy. The biscuits and gravy are delicious and nice size portions on everything. If you want a real treat, try Molly’s Skillet - you will love it!

Classic Cheyenne spot and always good. The breakfast was incredible and our server was so kind, the best surprise was the delicious coffee! So good! It’s not a large place but worth the wait.

Out of towner review:
A small but pleasant establishment. I had the Breakfast Sandwich entree, which they split up into two because I asked for an extra egg to replace the bacon. Note: there’s pork in the gravy and green chili; refrained beans do not).
The staff were very friendly and our food came out quick. Enjoy!
Sarah Carter
Breakfast for 5, Friday. No wait. A dive but the service & food was fantastic. Big Boy burrito & Huervos Rancheros was delish. Green chili was delish. Menus need to be replaced only really negative.
chestin salisbury
Great spot all around. We stopped in to get breakfast to go and decided on the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Definitely the right choice!
And smothered in their green chili...SO GOOD!!! 🤤
The service was spectacular too. When they found out it was "to go", the cook came out and told us personally he was going to rush our order. It was out and ready in no more than 5 minutes.
Did I mention the green chili? Damn that's some good stuff!
You'll definitely want to put this on your list to visit.

I was so excited about coming to this diner because of all the good reviews and the number of reviews...I mean all these Google reviewers can't be wrong.
We came in on Mother's Day as a group of 7, without calling ahead and I was afraid we wouldn't be able to be seated for awhile, but after explaining that we could be split up, they seated us immediately.
Yes, it was Mother's Day so it was busy, but I'm afraid that like many places, they were short on staff. Our server Ashley was attentive and awesome, but there were some hiccups.
She took our drink orders and it took a bit to get 2 coffees, 1 chocolate milk, 1 lemonade, and 3 waters. Ok, I get it, this place is packed. However, I was a little perturbed that she took the food order of the table behind us prior to taking our food order as that table was seated about 10 minutes AFTER us.
The food tasted amazing but it came out an hour after we ordered. Once again, I get it, they were packed, but an hour seems a little too long.
Other issues included my friend substituting their luxury potatoes for french fries, but received french fries and my other friend ordered huevos rancheros, but got an eggs benedict. There are definitely places to improve, mainly in communication, but if I'm in the area, I would come back, just not on a holiday.

Hidden gem, I drove right by the first time! Fabulous old time diner. Absolutely awesome inside. Real family environment. The staff are wonderful and it’s obvious this is where the locals come for breakfast.
We were here on Mother’s Day and it was busy but the tables turned over quickly and the small staff were very diligent in busing the tables.
Food was amazing! Meat lovers omelette, French Toast and country fried steak and eggs. I hope we come this way again!

They said go here for down home cookin’…
They weren’t lying!!
Shouts out to that young chef in the kitchen… he got down! He cooked everything exactly as I requested. Is he for hire? 🤔👀 It was so delicious!
There was no long wait… and Samantha & Pat (the diners mascot) made sure I had excellent service w/ a smile and kept my coffee mug refilled with fresh piping hot coffee. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fun little diner, feels like you step back in time. Bring your appetite, they don’t skimp on the portions. Service was excellent, coffee is good, and the food exceeded my expectations.
Barry Meyer
Super great food. Everyone working there is super friendly. You can talk to the Cook the food they make is the best around. If you're not from Cheyenne it's a must stop place to eat at. Saturday morning is open 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. lots of food big portions. You get to eat inside a railroad car
Kyle Kamischke
Awesome place to eat breakfast at. The whole family loved it, and it was a great place to check out before leaving town. I loved that it was in a converted train car! The restaurant is way bigger on the inside than you'd think it was based on the exterior. The staff was great as well! I'd highly recommend the corned beef hash. It thought it tasted great. The family loved the chocolate chip pancakes!
J.R. Langford
Quirky, out-of-the-way, full-on DINER. Attached to a long-term motel next to the railroad tracks. The first time we drove an hour to check out breakfast, they were out of coffee and bacon. The next time, some months later, they were short 3 kitchen staff, out of muffins and their signature potatoes...but the place still works!
The food is genuine and generous. The wait staff (one person our last visit) are personable and fun.
Beside our recommendation, a local article ranked the best breakfast/lunch locations within Cheyenne and elevated Luxury Diner to No. 1.
We haven't yet tried all of the other nominees but I think I'll still favor Luxury Diner...even with their shortages. It's still worth the trip.
Sarah O
We love going here. The food is perfect - breakfast or burgers & their green chili is incredible. The servers are always cheerful & fun to talk to. And the building is an old train car. One of my favorite places in Cheyenne.
Jeffrey Dronenburg II
What a fun spot to stop! Cozy Americana interior with unassuming yet well made meals. The bacon with my 2x2x2 meal was smoky and crispy, and the blueberry pancakes were perfectly made - about 9" across and very filling.
The cafe is built up around an old "luxury car" - the car in a train where meals are served. Extensions on either side house the kitchen and a secondary seating area. If you're looking for a unique dining experience in Cheyenne, this is your spot!
Schulte Schoolhouse
This kinda looks like a “dive” but it is a old trolley turned diner and it’s a really cool place! The service was fast and friendly! Mia was our waitress and she’s awesome! The food is delicious and the servings are generous. We are a family of 6 and we were able to eat here on a tight budget. Thanks Mia, thanks Sherry, you helped us have a good start on our family road trip! You gotta try the Brunch Fries! If you love sausage gravy, green chili and cheddar cheese, you are gonna love the “Brunch Fries”!
Sofia Babenkova
chicken fried steak meal & skillet both hit the spot after a long drive but even better was the service - del was incredible, so friendly, and made us feel right at home. highly recommend!!
Ron
I was able to get breakfast for lunch. They also made a burger as a patty melt using rye bread, how awesome is that. The staff were courteous and keep the glasses full. The menu offered something for everyone. It is amazing how the small cafes always seem to have good homemade food. If you are looking for an authentic cafe with good food and great service give them a try.
Bogdan Beregovsky (King Bob)
The service was impecable. The food was made fresh and tasted delicious. Portions were huge, so much that I was not able to Finnish my meal. Old school hospitality at a great value. Definitely a place to stop by.
Bill McMillan
Great little place in downtown Cheyenne. They pay homage to the railroad history of Cheyenne. Photos. Murals. Toy trains. They are everywhere. The ceiling is even sloped like a dining car. Food was fresh and delish. Service was fast and friendly. Portions are huge. They will he featured in Man vs Food in September. A must stop if in Cheyenne
The Bandit
what a wonderful local gem!!! Our waitress and the lovely chef were all smiles, exceptionally friendly, and welcomed us like family! Our coffee was always full. The food was delicious and great prices! We will definitely be back every time we're in town. Being truck drivers, that could be a lot and we look forward to returning in the future!! Highly recommended!!!! :)
Jess McConnell
Haven't even got my food yet and I'm giving this place. 5-Star review just because of the vibe. Classic diner feel, diverse breakfast menu, hot coffee, great servers.
Want more ambiance? Take a walk around the adjacent vine covered hotel. If that doesn't take you back about 50 years then you are from another planet.
Lori Lewis
This place has the best food no matter what I order. I have had breakfast and a burger here and it's all wonderful. Sweet staff.
Julieanna Peetz
Absolutely love this place! Been here 5 times now and I have liked every meal. I highly recommend their cinnamon rolls and their fried pickles are the best!
Rob Curry-Patel
Come hungry or stick to the sides. Our group got four breakfast plates. No one made it through. The owner is from NJ, the land of Greek dinners, and some of that classic east coast dinner feel is present but with a touch of southern (gravy on your breakfast anyone?) and western (or top it with green chilly sauce. The cinnamon buns are the size of your head. It's easy to miss, as their sign is small, but you can miss that orange Native American sign of the motel right next to it.
Melody Hall
Wonderful service and food! All made from scratch!! Such deep history all around! Best kept secret in Cheyenne!
Shelby Jones
Great food and service. Lived up to all the great reviews. Will definitely try to get back here.
Dagny Monette
Great food, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere. We planned our drive West to ensure we were near Cheyenne at breakfast time so we could try out the diner. Definitely worth the effort.
Kent Atkins
Really enjoyed breakfast here! It's Wyoming so take a breath because no one moves fast! The sausage gravy was next level good!
lee greenhalgh
If Luxury Diner is the only place I ever eat in Cheyenne id be happy. Great prices, delicious food and excellent service. We had the 2x2x2 and the chicken fried steak breakfast. Both were good portions, perfectly cooked and served very quickly. Cool little retro diner setting too... definitely worthy of a visit if you are close by.
Emily Gayle
The service was great here. The food was big servings of good diner food. But the atmosphere was run down with worn out benches. Good little diner to go to.
Kate Siebert
Went because of the good reviews, but it really wasn't that great. Waitress was nice, but not overly helpful. Maybe it has changed hands recently or something, but it was nowhere near as good as the reviews led us to believe. Most of it seemed to come from frozen and the menu is awful to make any sense of. On top of that, it was pretty pricey for a small amount of food. $26 for two people, one had huevos rancheros, the other had 2 eggs, bacon, and hash browns - and these were not generous portions either.
Doug Haggerty
Fabulous hole in the wall for all things breakfast!! They really do it all right. Friendly staff, quick service for being packed. It's a little cramped in there but we'll worth it. Plus the cinnamon rolls are GIANT!! I'll be back for certain!
Chuck Tracy
Nice little discovery in Cheyenne. Small quaint dinner, impeccable customer service, entrees were delicious, hit and large portions. The side order of biscuits and gravy could have been a bit warmer. Be sure to get their cinnamon roll to go...it's an eyeful..
sleebus jones
Great old-school diner. If you want corned beef hash and eggs, this is the place!
tom vealey
This review is my opinion and is based on my visit to this establishment on May 10, 2022.
Absolutely fantastic food and service. If you are looking for good country cooking, this is the place to go. As you will see from my Previous reviews, I have visited restaurants all across the country. This will be one of my all time favorites and I will definitely stop here again if I come back to Cheyenne Wyoming.
The Iron Lilly
The staff were really lovely. I had the meat lovers omlet and it was big and full of meat and cheese. The Luxury potatoes were a treat. I could eat their sausage gravy all day!
Emily Meyers
We were visiting from Denver for a wedding. The food was delicious! I had the biscuits and gravy, they were perfect biscuit consistency, the gravy was spot on. My husband had pancakes and they were HUGE! The pancakes were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We'd definitely come back!
Jordan Zaner
Food was very good. Service was a little bit haphazard at the beginning but overall a wonderful experience. The only complaint was that the coffee was pretty burnt, ask for a fresh pot!
Jason Smith
Best breakfast I've ever had!! Good prices and great decor.
Food was also great. Good variety of food pn menu with great portion sizes.
Helen Maringer
Amazing! Huge portions, tasty food, and an awesome environment in an old train car. They even offer a menu option for those traveling with animals. Their sausage gravy is super peppery and one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten.
David Knight
The food is absolutely good. This was only the second time I have been here. Once per trip, since I found this great location. This time I had the Caboose which was chicken fried steak, luxury potatoes and scrambled eggs with toast. I went a little overboard and also ordered a side of bacon.
The chicken-fried steak was extremely good, and the gravy was very thick. This is why I normally order gravy on the side, to keep the steak coating nice and crispy. The steak was flavorful, and quite tender. The luxury potatoes with green peppers were extremely good. The gravy is thick but it is the same gravy they use for their biscuits and gravy so it is a sausage gravy.
My wife had the spicy burrito and she seem to enjoy it tremendously. Her burrito have plenty of chorizo in it and enough space to make her happy.
If I had known about this location when I lived in the area, I would have eaten here every week. It is a Hidden Gem and worth trying out.
09/24/22 - we both has the Caboose (Chicken fried steak, luxury potatoes and eggs). You can get the gravy all over or as I get it (on the side).
Craig Collins
We had a great experience. I'd recommend the Rancheros breakfast. The green chili was awesome and the portions were really large as well. The service was great too.
Nikki Schurbon
It's a cute little spot, the food is pretty good as long as it's made right!
tmatthies523
Food and atmosphere are amazing. I love the old time diner this place is. Much recommended.
Jason Bloomberg
Perennial breakfast and lunch favorite among locals (including me) in Cheyenne which has vegetarian options. I had Migas - sautéed tortilla pieces, scrambled eggs, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, and cheese smothered in vegetarian chili, served with refried beans, their breakfast potatoes, and warm tortillas. If asked, they will cook your dish in a pan separate from the grill to avoid having contact with meat grease. While they are known for their own housemade green chili made with pork, they offer a vegetarian option (505 Brand) if requested. The refried beans are meatless and not cooked in lard. This is a place that offers hearty options for vegetarians and omnivores alike. Bon Appétit.

I enjoy finding local cafe's and diners everywhere I travel. This diner n Cheyenne, WY, was not a disappointment. I had an awesome breakfast. Cheryl, you would have enjoyed the hash!
Frank Mondragon
Best Breakfast in Cheyenne, maybe Wyoming! Great portions and the best breakfasts ever! Love those Luxury potatoes and plate size pancakes!
Rocco Snart
Great little mom and pop. Will be a go to when I am in Cheyenne.
Deborah Gardner
Excellent place to eat! Loved our breakfast and our waitress did a great job! Friendly and cozy diner! 💗💗 …
Matt Foster
Fantastic home cooked food. Always fresh. Enjoyable location
Daniel Steinberg
Great omelets! Though there was only Coffeemate on the table, our server rustled up some half-and-half for us.
Phil Dean
This place is awesome! Part of the dining room is an old trolley car when it was retired in 1926 they turned it into a diner. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic.
Justin Smith
Really good food and decent portions.
Ashley Wright
The people working were friendly and service was pretty fast. The food was decent in taste. The coffee mugs did not seem very clean. Food was very cheap!
Allen Richardson
Great place to have a bit out. They make everything fresh. And that old rail car atmosphere is on point.
andrew uy (betterlate111)
Great food. Large portions. Best Philly Steak in Wyoming. Huge Cinnamon Buns!
Luke Camery
Exactly what you'd hope for! It's a diner. It's a great diner. Recommend the chicken fried steak.
Jason Ogasian
Good food and friendly, down to earth service.
Lorenda Houston
What a great place! Thanks for being so warm. Real people and really great food. Super fun setting too!!
Michael Nelson
The best little dinner in all of Cheyenne! Friendly, fast and by far delicious!!
Mackenzie Christensen
The hospitality here is really what puts it above and beyond. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The food was top notch as well! Would recommend this to anyone traveling through Cheyenne.
Elizabeth
Rode in from out of town looking for small diner for lunch. Came across this small diner. The chicken fried steak was authentic and amazing! Best I've ever had. And don't forget the awesome Luxury potatoes. So full of flavor. Would highly recommend.
Small Ween
I was a little nervous when I walked in, but I have to say this was one of the better breakfast meals I’ve had in a long time. No frills, just had the egg breakfast, superb!
Geri Douglas
I had the 3 egg veggie omelette! I ordered it without the toast and hash browns! This is Keto friendly this way. Not that I have been big on doing Keto diet. There is always a start in ones journey. My husband ordered the meat lovers omelette, with toast and hash browns. They forgot his toast. The waitress was friendly and run off her feet. She did bring it eventually with apologies. I would definitely recommend this little diner. My omelette was so delicious! My husband enjoyed his very much as well.
Jon Stevens
Exactly what we expected. Nice service. Great old diner with lots of charm. Clean and the food was good. Glad we tried it for breakfast. We would recommend if you have some extra time driving through the area.
Guillermo Beltran

Great spot with history. The service was exceptional and food great.
Dale Gustafson
First time there, service was excellent, coffee cup was never empty, food was delicious and reasonable in price. Will definitely stop there again
Christina Lancster
So we've visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning. It was quite busy we were seated quickly. Our waitress whose name was Angie, and not very pleasant, Did not acknowledge us for about 10 minutes. She then came back and asked for a drink order and said she would be back in a few to take our order. When she came back it had probably been 20 mins total. She told us that they like to keep the table turn quick. I took that as eat fast and get out. The meal that we ordered was supposed to come with the side but it was not offered. I am not sure if she was new or just did not know the menu very well. When we received our order my hash Browns and eggs were hot fresh off the griddle but my biscuits and gravy were lukewarm. We asked about our side and she said that we did not order one so we asked for a side of toast she said sure I guess. Halfway through our meal we still have not received our toast. My husband said excuses me ma'am? Can i get my toast? She looked at us and said you don't have to scream i can hear you. That ruined our visit right there. The food was great portions and great price. We will try again at a less busy time and a different waitress.

Cool atmosphere, the food was delicious! Del was very kind and professional and a pleasure to talk to! Highly recommend and will absolutely be coming back for more!
Clarence Vick
Had a great breakfast with really great service. The manager was on top of things making for a really good experience.
Susan Wheeler
Very pleasant waitress shes very good with people. Unfortunately cook started a loud personal argument with her. Cussing, slamming his glove box on the front counter. Waitress handled it very well. Food was very greasy, sitting in a pool of grease in the box. Conductor had overwhelming taste on green peppers couldn't taste the corn beef hash. Eggs were in slivers like when you cook it in too much grease. Had hopes for better breakfast...
Ami Eggemeier
Cute place with great diner feel.Good service, friendly staff, and great tasting breakfast.

I've only visited once, passing through Cheyenne but I had a lovely breakfast. The service was friendly, the establishment was clean. I enjoyed an order of their corned beef hash with eggs (delicious), coffee, and a delectable giant cinnamon roll for the road. Would definitely recommend.
Ralf “The Big Kahuna” Schneider
Love that place. Popped in again last Wednesday morning to have my Western Style Omelet. Super friendly staff, full of life and everyone really cares. Great setup and fantastic breakfast as always.
Megan Heintz
The food is great but unfortunately the service not so much. Attempted to place a pick up order, waitress was rude and said she needed to check someone out before placing my order. She didn’t even put me on hold. She placed the phone on the counter top and never picked up the phone. I waited 15 min and attempted to call back. The phone still isn’t on the counter top 45 min later.
Ben O
Friendly staff, good food at a good price. Old school diner vibe : )
Brady Schvaneveldt
EAT HERE NO BRAINER. We were driving to Georgia and needed to rest. We found this place and WOW! What a hidden gem. The cook gave us a huge smile when we walked in and greeted us. The management was friendly and were interested in our travels. The food was incredible. HUGE portions. I got a turkey sandwich thinking nothing of it. It came out as a TRIPLE DECKER with each slice of bread grilled with cheese to perfection. I even had to ask the cook how he made it. He said “with love” and I can’t argue that.
Dorman Land
Great atmosphere. I love eating in a train car. It has been added on to but still has the feel. The food is good and it is obviously a local favorite. The regulars are called by name and there can be a wait due to its small size. I have eaten here multiple times and it is my favorite diner in Cheyenne.
Pauline Tom
Luxury Diner takes the cake (uummm, giant cinnamon roll). Such fun. As I mentioned maybe putting a pin for Mountain City on their map, down on the floor beside our booth, there was a pin!! Unimaginable fun.
The caboose portion of diner has been in place since 20’s when, with no heat, the railroad workers dined during stopovers.
The cooks were delighted to have their photo taken. Fantastic job with my special eggs. (Whipped to fluffy, poured out thin on griddle like a pancake, well done.)
Memorable experience
Sandy Beach
Great hand pressed burgers and very nice people. Will go again next time we are in Cheyenne.
Aaron Brown
The chicken fried steak was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I don't think my wife's coffee ever dropped below 3/4 full before someone swung by and topped it off. My son ordered pancakes which were also excellent.
Brian C
If you come here during Cheyenne Frontier Days, just make sure you bring a little extra patience with you. Any town where the population nearly doubles due to an event is going to have some trouble keeping up with the demand. My wife and I had to wait about an hour for our food. The restaurant was packed and there was a line out the door and into the parking lot. The two cooks working in the kitchen were slinging out plates as fast as they could. Our food was worth every minute of our wait. I ordered the meat lovers omelette. My wife ordered the huevos rancheros (the clear winner between the two). We both got the luxury potatoes as our side but it could've been a meal by itself. Most importantly, the staff deserves some very special recognition. With as busy and overworked as they were, the entire staff was as sweet as could be. If it weren't for our trip being so short we would've gone back to dine in. Instead, we stopped by on our way out of town and grabbed a cinnamon roll to go. If we make it back out to CFD in the future, we will definitely eat here again.
Monica Paczkowski
Enjoyed a hearty and delicious breakfast at the re-opening of the Luxury Diner! The meals were done to perfection and hot and fresh. Service was excellent and attentive. We were glad we picked this diner for our last meal in Cheyenne before heading home!
Miscellaneous Paraphernalia
Small, cozy and noisy. I ate here twice during the past couple of days. First time was for lunch and it was good food and a lot of it. I had the big boy burrito, which was quite good. My father ordered the special (lasagna) and it was NOT good. Might have been a bad choice, but almost put us off of coming back.
Second time, Sunday breakfast. I had the biscuits and gravy and he had the short stack. The food was plentiful, although the pancakes appeared to have cooled completely by the time they were served because the butter would not melt. Mine was warm, although the luxury potatoes were not.
The staff was very friendly and responsive! There were others that had issues with their food and I witnessed them do everything in their power to make it right. We didn't speak up about our food, because other than the lasagna, it was good...just not HOT.
The cinnamon rolls were eye popping and huge. We got one to go...and are still trying to finish it. Be warned, it is a diabetic's nightmare due to the copious amount of frosting on it! :)
Flea Johnson
Before sitting the waitstaff made sure to inform us that a rather large group had put in their order and it would take quite some time to get our food... But the wait was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!! Throughout our wait we had staff continuously checking on us and our drinks, and reassuring us that our order was put in and not forgotten. The friendly and attentive staff here has guaranteed that I will be returning for more enjoyable meals in the future!
D Z
First time there for breakfadt in several months. Still good huevos rancheros. Coffee could use a little work but all in all a pretty good meal.
Patti Barrett
I had the best blueberry pancakes ever at the Luxury Diner last year and couldn't wait to return again this year on my drive from Florida. I wasn't disappointed and can't wait to return again next year. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. The price is right and the atmosphere is relaxing and full of friendly locals enjoying their meals too.
Noah Binder
Two times in a row the sausage gravy was way off. First time it was bizarrely sweet and the next time tasted of raw flour. We are going to take a break while they work out some kinks. The waitresses are always great though.
#ph Plasencio
This place is a must! Hot, fresh Cinnamon rolls as big as the state of Texas! It's got deep roots in this community and isn't going anywhere. I've seen owners change, menus change, staff and pricing changes here too! One thing that remains is the hometown comfort and convenience! The food is still diner quality, nostalgic and sure to send you off with a full belly and a smile on your face! You'll certainly want to return, that's for sure! Good job Luxury Diner! Keep up the good work!! ❤❤❤
Anna O'Brien
Great food (especially the pancakes)! It also has a lovely, cozy atmosphere--especially in the seating area that they built in a train car. And the staff is super friendly. On my last visit, our server wisely suggested that I avoid the full stack of pancakes (did I mention they're huge?), and how right she was. Plus pies and (giant) cinnamon rolls that you can take with you!
Katherine Comerford
Currently trekking from Georgia to Utah and stayed the night in Cheyenne. Looked up places to eat near me and stumbled upon this one. It was seriously one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in my life for breakfast and by far the best on the trip thus far! I ordered the migas with flour tortillas and it was beyond excellent. And the service in itself is well worth it! Prices are great too! All around phenomenal!!
cynthia harper
WHAT A GEM! Locals primarily, crazy good coffee, crazy good breakfasts. We stopped by on our way to California, was so good, we came back on the way back home - actually made it a point by getting up at 430 a few hours away to get there by 8 to make it happen. Did not disappoint as oftentimes can happen! On the rotation for when we drive cross country. GOOD GOOD GOOD! Friendly service! You like breakfast? You'll love this place!
D'arxiebel Maya-Soto
Got into Cheyenne from DFW and the whole family was starving so we decided to try out the food at this local diner and I have to say we loved it! Great service and amazing food! Our servers and the other workers were so nice and friendly. It was an amazing stop after getting off from a flight. I definitely recommend stopping and eating here, you will not regret it!
Mary Tant
Great little diner! I had the pleasure of coming here twice-once in late July of this year and another time in October of this year-both were great experiences. This past time (in October) it was a couple of regular patrons birthdays and the staff brought in a cake for them (and shared the cake with everyone in the diner). It really shows that they care about the people they serve. I hope I’ll make it back one day! I already miss their grilled cheese and corn beef hash! For sure go if you’re ever in Cheyenne. It’s inside an old railroad car, so it’s a really cool experience and the staff can’t be beat! :)
Maria Maio
Food was great. Service a little slow due to high number of customers that morning. Staff were so sweet and hospitable! Inside is super unique and cool! Old train car style and very cozy atmosphere.

This place is amazingly good. I'm a big eater, and am somewhat skeptical when places use words like "giant" to describe items, but the giant burrito here was too big for me to finish, and it was delicious! We were a party of 9, and everyone enjoyed their meal. All the meals came quickly, were hot, and an amazing value. Definitely check this place out if you find yourself in Cheyenne!
Filefish
Great little dinner. Good food & a friendly staff. Gets crowded on the weekends.
Lauran Baker
I absolutely love this place!! The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly! My husband and I are definitely going to eat here again when we stop in Cheyenne! This diner has made our honeymoon/birthday trip exponentially sweeter! Highly recommend!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Donald P.
Loved it! Staff were so friendly and sweet. Great portions. Taste and Flavor was spot on. Prices were right on. The homemade chocolate layer cake and giant cinnamon rolls were amazing. 10 thumbs up.
Kyra Petersen
This is a great small cafe for small family gatherings. The service was great and the food was pretty good. Not the best, but it was still edible. The atmosphere is great, but it was pretty cold in the building. Servers were very kind and treated us very well. All around a pretty great environment!
?Ṁäḍí¿
The food there is D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. The food is huge portions for great price I highly recommend
Scott Woodard
Excellent food and neat history. Get the Caboose. You will not regret it! Staff was extremely friendly as well. Will definitely go back if we have the opportunity in our travels.
Chris Webb
The building a location were very unique. The service and staff was extremely friendly. The food left much to be desired. Maybe my expectations were higher going in because it is a top-10 diner Nationwide, or maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. If in Cheyenne again I would try it one more time.
Nickolas Schram
Awesome diner with a great menu. Lots of options and really friendly staff. Biscuits and sausage gravy were fantastic. Definitely get a giant Cinnamon roll to go when you leave!
David Schulte
Awesome! We are a family of 6 and we all LOVED IT! Sherry the owner and Mia our waitress were great. Fast friendly service and a really cool old place. We know where we will be going for breakfast when we're in Cheyenne!
Kathleen Howardl
We were amazed by the food portion size that being said it was absolutely delicious! I had the turkey club and my husband had the BLT... delicious, need I say more, came with french fries also
David Dwiggins
Was visiting Cheyenne from Colorado Springs, and stopped in for lunch. I wanted to try a locally owned restaurant instead of a chain, and the Luxury Diner didn't disappoint. The service was awesome, the waitress never let my coffee cup go below half full. The food was great, I had the Reuben sandwich with onion rings. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.
Brent Thornton
Burgers are HUGE!!
Slow paced and not hard on the wallet. If you order a burger and leave hungry you are not human....
Staff was great and so was the owner.
We arrived after it was closed and still got great service, a great burger, and didn't get the bums rush to leave.
Take a cinnamon roll home as they are a treat unto themselves.
Green chili was the best I have ever had hands down.
Evelyn Hill
Staff was so nice and friendly. Service was great and the memory I shared with my Aunt who had been eating breakfast there for years was special. The breakfast was as good as it she said.
Garrett Miller
Unbelievable!
I had the Caboose! Delicious!!
Service was great! Kids were happy with their meals!
J SH
Tried Luxury Diner for the first time today. And our food was so good!! I had the popper cheese steak which had the perfect amount of cream cheese and jalapeno! My hubby had the biker burger, I had a bite, and wow! All the flavors were amazing and Ithe green chili was delicious! We chatted with the owners and the cook who were very nice. We went around 3 and had no wait time so that worked in our favor! The atmosphere speaks for itself, I mean it's a turn of the century trolley car! 😉 Will definitely be back!!!
Julie Curts
Started our morning off with this wonderful place, staff were super friendly and on spot, the chef even walked out some of our food. The food was very good, the atmosphere is fun . They gave us some pointers on where to go too!!
Ken Williams
Very cute Diner friendly staff the food is great Ally did a great job. We are moving to Cheyenne and we will be back. Cinnamon Rolls are to die for they are huge. Pancakes and breakfast is Yummy you will never leave hungry.💘💘💘💘 …
Cory Claymon
Probably the most fun we've had eating breakfast ever. Shared a table with strangers just to help people get seated and eat during peak time. Had several good laughs with our new friends. Food was plentiful and really tasty. Prices were rock bottom and environment and staff were awesome.
Great food good people. Worth the wait. We will be back.
Jessica Osteen
Great food and great service! I ordered the big boy burrito and the carrot cake and they were so delicious. We got to chat with the owner and she was so kind and is doing a great job! I can't recommend this place enough!
nichole speigel
Food was good When they waitress finally got it right, it came out and was missing about half our items she kinda just was ok with it. When we asked for the missing items she seemed irritated. Gettin a refill of coffee was impossible she just kept looking the other way, our waters never came. The food was good but service needs work this is the second time I've experienced this with this restaurant. Sad..
Amy Rogan
Fantastic food, great history, and amazing staff. Sherry was great even though they were overextended because of all the traffic from Eclipse watchers. Top notch place.
We couldn't leave without picking up a gigantic cinnamon roll. Yummy!
Lana Woodard
You would look at this place and think "oh what a greasy spoon!" But the food is fantastic, that is if you like stick to your ribs home style meals! And if you pay attention, you will realize that half of the place is made out of an old trolley car. And be prepared to founder on desert! I ordered carrot cake, expecting a little 3x3 square. I got a 5 layered carrot cake wedge that was so moist and rich, I enjoyed for three days and that was after I gave away the whole top layer!
Nicholas Long-Henke
The food and service are good, waitresses are very nice and considerate. My concern comes from the fact that I saw the cook manipulating food with his bare hands after scratching himself.
Edit: Staff contacted me and assured me said cook has been terminated. They also offered a free meal in the future as an apology. Extraordinary manager!
Lynette Cox
Fantastic place to eat! Plenty of food for really good prices and delicious! We were surprised how great everyone worked together and made it a very relaxing and friendly environment. Our waitress never let our drinks go empty. We will definately be back!!
Nicole Antonia
The restaurant is in an old train car which was cool! Had a simple, historic atmosphere. Prices were great! My biscuits were a little hard but other than that, everything was delicious and the portions are huge!
Glenn Sullivan
Good food- friendly service. Place was packed
jared leidich
Cool little Diner with a lot of character. I had the Juevos Rancheros and they were unique and delicious, made with deep fried for tortillas in a way I've never had. I'll be going back to this place next time I'm in Cheyenne.
Joey Paulsen
I thought it was nice, the food was homemade for sure, the gravy was decent which is hard to find. (Homemade. The staff was very friendly. I was in for breakfast. I had the Country Benedict. This is an historical caboose that they built around. Says it's been a dinner since 1926.
Shawna Souza
I love Luxury Diner! You can really tell they care about the quality of the food they cook. The menu has a huge variety and something for everyone! I love the atmosphere and close quarters. It's really nice for meeting new people!
Jordan Adams
If your in Cheyenne get food here! Its reasonably priced and absolutely incredible. 10/10 would drive out of my way to eat there on vacation again.
P Med
Great food! Great service!
Mark Hunt
Went for the corned beef hash it was good but not the best I've had..friendly staff and a very unique place
Tiffany Calvetti
Great place. Huge portions. The gravy is outstanding. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast last week. This week it's the breakfast burrito. It's amazing how fast the food presents to the table. We are starting to make this our regular Saturday morning stop.
misty eisenbarth
The Luxury Diner diner is the best place to eat in Cheyenne! Cherished by the locals, and remembered by all of travelers! The food is amazing! My favorites include the Santa Fe breakfast burrito, the Cheese Steak, and the Giant Cinnamon Rolls! The owner Sherrie makes sure everyone is well taken care of! She often offers the children fruit cups or other fun filler snacks, and she's always running around dropping off a free cinnamon roll in the occasional event there's wait! The nostalgia can't be beat. Upbeat old school diner, with a exciting retro vibe!
The Luxury Diner is usually packed, so there could possibly be an occasional short wait, a wait you will never regret it! The waitresses are fast, friendly, and super sexy! And for the ladies...Scott the server, with the New York accent is a absolute must! Come make some memories, because the Luxury Diner is food, fun, and experience that you definitely won't forget!
Aaron Herman
The atmosphere is exactly what a diner should be. The food was awesome and the portions are huge. I highly recommend the Luxury Diner whenever you are in Cheyenne WY.
Christopher Otwell
Food was done well. Server was nice.
The sausage gravy that replaced the prior cream gravy was a downgrade in quality and flavor of the chicken fried steak.
MIRIAM LITTLE
Best service ever, staff had great personality & super friendly.
Debbi Young
Great food for a great price! Really neat train history bout the diner n the train decor is awesome n educational! Our waitress, Jamie, was the best the cook did a great job all the employees were very pleasant. Must stop if ur close even if it not hungry it's worth stopping to see n learn bout how one train car came to b the Luxury Diner!
Jacob McGlew
Wonderful food, great people. Former Jersey residents that served up a delicious chili burger and French toast, and gave us a giant cinnamon roll! Would definitely stop again, a true favorite.
Edward Morrow
We enjoyed the friendly people. The food was okay... We were there for Father's Day and they were really busy. The cook was overwhelmed and made some errors ...had to send back plates... The waitress was very friendly.
Brett Huff
Great food, huge portions all for a good price!
Janice Smith
We love to have local bill of fare highlighting the popular food in the area. Luxury Diner certainly fit the bill. It's down home cooking at its best. Everything we had was made to perfection. The owner and staff couldn't do enough for you. Our only regret was that we didn't have room for dessert. This place is something special.
Edward Battig
Home town restaurant with excellent food and service. Our waitress was incredible😊 …
Aaron Johnston
I love a good diner but great diners are few and far between, Luxury Diner is one of the greats. My eggs were perfectly cooked (I'm picky), and the biscuits and gravy were the best I've had in years .
Shannon Wolf
Food was great but service was less than desirable. My roommate and I came for breakfast on Sunday around 9:30 amand they were packed. The only table available was an 8 seater round table. We sat there got menus and ordered drinks and 15 minutes later got our drinks and straws. Our waitress walked away to help another customer and I broke the straw trying to get it out of its wrapper. We spent the next 10 minutes trying to get the attention of ANY server to get a replacement. Meanwhile a group of 6 came in and the only tr able available at that time only seated 4. We offered to move and did so. We finally got our food ordered. We received our food with the check placed on the table in a hurry and she walked off again. We had to spend another 5 minutes trying to get ketchup for my roommate. We never saw our waitress again. We paid at the front and left
Dallas rodriguez
Has amazing food and nothing but good service! We have been in multiple times and every time we are waited in within minutes and treated with the best service. Definitely recommend this diner. We love it!
duncan compton
Never had a bad experience here. My wife and I go every couple of months when we need a kick of amazing atmosphere, friendly faces, and delicious food. The servers do everything they can to make you feel welcome and the food is always impressive.
Sara Luttes
This place is awesome! The food and service were excellent and we loved the railroad theme. We drove up from Loveland to do an errand in Cheyenne and decided on a family owned restaurant instead of a chain. It was a great choice.
Hoss Tsosie
This was an old train car type restaurant. Pretty neat inside to see all the pics on the wall of old time Cheyenne. The food was ok. Couple of the regulars were telling us how it was the best in town. I didn't see it. I ordered coffee since it was a bit cold out that day, it was awful. I even put extra creamer and sugar in it and that didn't help at all. The burger was what I expected a decent size burger with grease running out, oh yeah. The service was ok. It seems like every restaurant we went to that week in Cheyenne were in no hurry on getting our plates to us. I would go back to this restaurant next time I'm in Cheyenne, I just wouldn't order there coffee again.
Monica Slagle
On Vacation from NC and haven't found a breakfast like home yet, until now!! True country cooking!! Heard about this place from a local. Small and very busy, but not much wait time. That just means it's good.🙌 …
Patrick Finan
Stopped for a great breakfast. Old style dinner with a funky decor. Friendly service. Things are hand made to order, so enjoy an extra cup of their great coffee if the place is busy.
Tony Morgas
Took my 80 something landlady there and had a great lunch and one of the best servers, made her feel real good and she hade a nice time, I reel appreciate how great she was with her. The food was great. Will be going back a lot more. Thank again to the nice people at the luxury diner for a great dinning experience.
Larry Ratliff
This place has awesome burgers and breakfast burritos, large portions. you feel like you're getting your money's worth. Can get crowded at lunch time you may have to wait for a table. Overall a nice place to eat a hearty lunch or breakfast.
Athena Sanchez
We loved the food and service!! We had the stuffed French toast and it was delicious!!
Thanael Certa-Werner
This is a hidden gem that anyone visiting should try. The portions are HUGE and don't cost too much. The restaurant is in an old train car and has some very fun decore. Definitely not fancy, but homey. And the waiters are some of the best in the business!
Derrick Migneault
This is THE place if you want a BIG breakfast! The food is amazing! The staff is friendly! The price is good for value. Not a lot of seating, but it's definitely worth the wait. Oh, try the "small" cinnamon roll.
Sarah O'Donnell
Great food, service and atmosphere! The Luxury Burger is delicious and the onion rings are the best in town. Don't forget to take a cinnamon roll home - you'll be too full to eat it before you leave. 😁 …
Stephanie Spears
Great little spot to a get a quick and tasty bite in while traveling! I had the big boy burrito with green chilli/gravy and it was fantastic! Great service 💯💯💯
Robin P
We stopped in while passing through Wyoming. Nice atmosphere, good food, however the service was terrible!
I should say the server was terrible! Other than that, we enjoyed it.
Vincent DeGrazio
Good service, good food. As always. Only issue, they were out of two things I tried to order for breakfast at 830 am. No big deal went to the third option.. Lol food still tasted great. And was cooked perfect.
Russ Dale
@luxury_diner Founded in 1926, the old train cart has much quaint style. I sat under a pink neon sign of "Luxury Diner" and it cast a pink hue in the room. I arrived when it opened at 6am. It was dark outside.
I ordered a grilled breakfast sandwich with bacon and a half order of biscuits and gravy. I was advised by the waitress that it was a heap O mess O food. She said the portions were large. Whoa. So I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon.
Coffee was good. H2o was good. A steady stream of locals kept arriving. Cheyenne is a smallish town compared to Denver. The people are friendly.
The potatoes were super good, flavored awesomely with onions and green peppers. There were huge chunks of potato. The biscuits and gravy were unfortunately not very good. The biscuits tasted very doughy. The gravy was almost tasteless and very thick. I had to pepper it up.
The bacon was 4 slices of crisp bacony goodness.
Overall a great experience. I would return to try something else. Check it out. You'll be glad you did.
Kathy Tutko
Cute little place just off the highway in an old trolley car added on to. Been around since 1926, very friendly, peppy service and good quick food. I had the hash Benedict. Tasted great, some hash a little grisly. The blueberry French toast was yummy! Gramma had that. Could have been cleaner and lighter, but I guess that's what happens when you get old...
Errol Brown
Today was my first time eating there. I got the Molly's breakfast , I didn't know I was going to have to spend a half hour trying to eat a plate of food that went halfway to the ceiling. LOL
To say the portion size was generous would be a tremendous understatement.
And I can't remember the last time I've been to a restaurant where all of the servers were smiling and acting as though they were very happy that you were there.
I don't know what's up with that, but I'm definitely going to go back again and again to find out :-)
Not only did my server check on me often, but also the other servers cat asking me if I needed anything as they were walking back and forth to take care of other customers.
It is a very humble Diner, no chandeliers, no fancy paneling , nothing that would make it stand out as far as being modern.
But they definitely named it right, Luxury Diner will spoil you with good portions of food and with great service!
Can't wait to go back :-)
Brian C
Eggcellent western omelet, luxury potatoes and rye toast. They use real eggs not eggs from a ladle that came in a big plastic bag. Damn, better than I can make at home and I am good at cooking eggs. Really really good. Place is not much to look at but it has character and was packed for good reason. The food is excellent.
Renee L.
Food was just OK. The diner was not very busy, but it took a long time to get our food, and the order was not correct. Plus, one of our party didn't get his food, until we waited & waited, and finally the waitress walked by, and then she did not bring the correct order again! It's too bad the service is bad because the diner is a cute railroad car that is cutely decorated inside.
Mary & Anna Show
Great unique food, for breakfast. One of my favorite places to eat. The Cinnamon Rolls are HUGE! Their burritos are delicious with their green chili. If you visit Cheyenne, go here.
Cody Suter
Great food and the staff was wonderful.
Mark Anthony Escalera Sr
We enjoy going here for a nice breakfast. Sometimes, it can be a little crowded but it is a small place. Food is always hot and there is more than enough on the plate to fill up just about any appetite. Don't forget to get one of their tiny, small, dinky cinnamon rolls. Ok, seriously, they are large enough to feed a small family for dessert. LOL
Kirk R.
What else can I say but...yum!! It has been almost 20 years since I last ate at the Luxury Diner. The flavors of the food have not changed since then. I am going to make sure that I get here more often from now on. Thank you Luxury Diner for being a staple in the great community of Cheyenne all of these years!
Cory Huckfeldt
One great place to eat. Food is always hot, fresh and great. Was just in a couple days ago tried the turkey club for the first time. It look like a professional cook made it and tasted like one too. Definitely recommend eating here
Julian Lykins
Service was excellent. Waiter noticed right away my wifes eggs has broke & offered to fix without us asking. Come hungry because you will get filled up. Very little place with a cool history.
Holly M. Koontz
The Luxury Diner continues to be a Cheyenne gem. They serve up a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. Their giant breakfast burritos are, in fact, giant and they still serve cinnamon rolls the size of dinner plates. The service here is great as well. I am sure we'll be back next time we're in town.
Haley Gann
Food was amazing!! I highly recommend this place!! Fast, and friendly service with huge serving portions!! Also, waitress suggested for us to try our fried pickles dipped in peanut butter-- ended up being super delicious!! Definitely coming back!
Suzanne Purtee
Excellent food and service. Helpful staff, friendly and wonderful food.
Wade Torbenson
Great little diner. The
ambience was nice as well as the staff
Marie Knight
Large portions, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. Try the luxury potatoes. Cinnamon buns are huge. When in the Cheyenne area this is my favorite breakfast place. Local favorite that has been around since 1926.
Justin Byrnes
Drove through town on our way back across the country. Make sure you stop in and try their MONSTER cinnamon rolls and other baked goodies. Service was above par as was the food!!
Don Rice
We come through Cheyenne several times a year. This diner is just slightly off the beaten path so this was our first time to eat there. In short Luxury Diner might just be Cheyenne’s best kept secret.
This is old school diner with five star food. Huge portions for the price and cinnamon rolls that fill an entire to go container. We now have “the stop” for us every time we come through Cheyenne in the future. Great service and our waiter Bobbi was the best. We will be back.
Matt McDowall
Restaurants like this are why we don't eat at chains. It's the kind of local, down-home place that people always refer to as a greasy spoon--but without all the, you know, grease. Everything we've had here has been good, including the French toast and the pancakes. But my favorite by far have been the two-egg breakfasts. I've had them with ham, German sausage, and Canadian bacon, and loved every one. I'm pretty particular about my eggs, and these people get them right every time.
We rarely pass by Cheyenne without making a special stop for a meal here. I recommend you do the same.
Laura Emery
Great service, great food, sweet owner and reasonable prices. We had fish and chips, a cheese burger and the big blue chees steak; all were excellent! Don't leave without some blueberry cobbler!
Bobby Mims
Very friendly staff and owner, great breakfast and huge cinnamon rolls! Very small local flavor so pack your patience because you may have to wait for a table, but it is worth the wait. Love it!
Josh Crips
The food is amazing, I always have a really good time. A few highlights, the big boy burrito is so filling and the jalapeno popper cheesesteak (yes that's correct) is something that should be on food Network. 10/10
Christopher Graves
Great staff and wonderful food. Glad we took an Uber from the Flying J off of 25.
Jacob Hardman
This is definitely one of those gems of a restaurant that you would normally pass by without a second thought. Absolutely fantastic food (especially the breakfast menu) and the servers were quick and super friendly as well!
Rebel Fire
*** UPDATE***
This has been resolved. Thanks again. We will be back!
*****************************************************
We thought it was ok. It seems like there has been 3 different owners since Covid. Last time we went we tipped the server cash only to find someone added an additional tip to our card. Can't seem to reach them without going in. Not a good way to conduct business. Watch your transactions, and check your account the next day for any added surprises.
Paul Reschke
We just love this cozy, friendly place to enjoy a wonderful breakfast, well worth the stop and chance to feel welcome. It's a trip from Texas but good food and friendly folks deserve that small business boost and a bit of raves!
Lizzie Mueller
Absolutely perfect!!! The server was top notch. The hostess and host couldn't have been nicer. Great place to eat. My new go to for yummy food
Edwina Foreman
This restaurant is always good. I eat here most times I am traveling through Cheyenne. Clean. The food is fabulous. Thanks for staying same.
mikeylikes50
Excellent waitress. Food so so.
Robert Riley
Stepped out of the car and I knew this diner was going to be worth it. It must be to have been on the Lincoln Highway since 1926. True to form, the adjoining motel has those bright pastels that contrast so well in any light and in black and white and sepia photos of yesteryear. The portions were plenty, the biscuits among the best outside the South. The coffee, while a lighter roast than I usually prefer, was smooth and paired with the biscuits like a fine wine. The facilities were well kept for a converted trolley car nearly a century old. When I return to Cheyenne, I will dine here again.
Kim Robinson
Stopped for a late breakfast on the way to South Dakota. Had the 2 x 2 x 2 with pancakes, bacon and eggs. Pancakes were thick and fluffy. Server was friendly.
Colter Huhn
Great breakfast food in unique little diner, made to feel like the inside of a train car
Ray Farmer
Had breakfast here yesterday morning and it was great ! Service was outstanding, I will definitely be going back. Pretty cool place on the inside too.
Elizabeth Hartman
Delicious breakfast. Large portions. Great option to avoid the national chains on our way through Cheyenne. It is easy to miss. I needed to use the picture to make sure we knew where we were looking for it.
Don Penselin
One of the oldest restaurants in Cheyenne, WY. They cook up great food and keep the coffee coming with a smile. They sell huge cinnamon rolls to go, they taste wonderful! Check it out!
liz jennings
The food is delicious and the service was prompt and reliable. A new waitress to that has only worked there for four.days was fast and courteous. I'll eat there any day of.the week.
Julie
I haven't been here in forever. Probably in 10+ years. I got the huge cinammon roll. It's too much for even two people. Part of the reason is because it's so sugary and tasty. Definitely worth getting for $7.
Lauren Harada
I love this place for the atmosphere. It's so cool that it used to be a train car. Standard diner food, but the portions are pretty big...short stack was two very large pancakes and the blueberries were worth the extra charge.
Stephen Allen
The food was good and so was the service. Small place, only one unisex bathroom. Verde sauce was delicious.
Edward Reiber
When my job takes me to Cheyenne this is where I eat great food and plenty of it. Friendly service. Don't leave without a cinnamon bun. The biggest I've ever seen.
Pamela Warwick
Samantha always makes us feel at home!
Amanda Roberts
Fabulous giant Cinnamon rolls. Omg. It literally FILLS a whole dinner-sized to-go container. They make them from scratch, they are covered in sweet powdered sugar-based gooey icing, and they do sell out, they are THAT good. I get them as a take out item and have breakfast for 5 days, at least! They also have delish green chili, cook to order burgers all in a old train caboose! TOOT! TOOT! Enjoy this unique diner and its atmosphere.
Jerri Dyke
Had a wonderful breakfast! The food is always great and the service was just as good as the food. The Luxury Diner is a quaint diner that had been a cable car from Cheyenne's past.
Krystal Medina
This place has big portions of good food for a low price. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The space is a bit small and can feel kinda claustrophobic on busier days so if that is a problem for you then definitely suggest going on a weekday rather than the weekend.
Michele Marrs
Unique dining in a train car and cafe food. They serve generous portions. Giant homemade cinnamon rolls if you get here early enough to get one. My only criticism is sometimes food is too salty.
Christofer Hardy
You blink and you might miss this little diner. The Luxury is made out of part of a railway car. It is a typical greasy spoon. You can order breakfast (which is my preference) or get a lunch.
This place is almost always busy, which speaks to how good the food is, be ready to wait your turn though.
Food to try: The breakfast burrito, the corned beef and hash, the omlets.
Jeff Showers
Good Place For Breakfast, Food Was Hot And Fresh, Will Definitely Go Back Again!
lewis lyon
Miss the old time feeling while eating here. Service and food were great. Bring back the 50s 60s music.
J S
Food was very good, service was also excellent. It's a bit cramped and can get a bit loud when its busy but still a great place to visit. Lots of Interesting things to look at while you're there
Ben Austin
The breakfast was good from the grill, like the chicken fried steak and potatoes, but items like the machine iced tea and the McDonald's-like biscuits could be greatly improved.
Armando D.d.L.
Unique place and can be easily overlooked when driving by it.
After many years I finally found it and had a delicious huge breakfast before heading home. Plate is filled with good food and all under eight bucks with extra food to spare.
Tina Stull
Best comfort food I've ever had. Biscuits and Gravy and disco fries are a must! Huge portions. Cinnamon rolls are the size of head. Not joking!
Kim Hay
Their curbside service goes above and beyond. Locally unique with a killer green chili breakfast burrito. Breakfast choices include German sausage, chrizzo and gigantic thick sliced bacon. Order eggs any style, french toast and whole grain breads.
Tamara Louise
Got busier than they expected. Had some issues with timing all the food to come out together. But Mgr gave us a discount. Food is always great! Love them grits!
Janica Johnston
Came up from Colorado for the day and read the reviews, had to try it. All spot on. Homemade breakfast, amazing service, huge portions, over-all deserves a 5 star rating!
Paul Balek
A small cozy diner. Friendly courteous service. $$. Good home cooking. Have always enjoyed a meal here. Under New Management. Thank you!! Peace out.
Adam Dalton
I consider myself a connoisseur of pancakes and have probably eaten pancakes at between 100-200 restaurants nationwide and I can legitimately say that these are tied for the second best I have ever eaten (after the Original House of Pancakes in Atlanta, GA). They portions we mammoth sized! Two pancakes filled me up for a majority of the day as they were each roughly the size of a manhole cover. Aside from the generous portions, the prices were absurdly cheap (for two pancakes and unlimited coffee I believe I paid about $5, a value that can't be beat anywhere). Lastly, in my experience when I am served giant pancakes I generally am afraid they may be under-cooked or over-cooked due to their size. However, these were cooked absolutely perfectly and were fluffy, crispy, and perfectly golden-brown. Also, just to note the atmosphere inside the diner is absolutely pure Americana; there is chrome everywhere, displays of Wyoming's railroad history line the walls, and the waitresses are all very friendly and accommodating. If you are in Cheyenne, WY or are planning to stop by, definitely make a stop at the Luxury Diner, you won't regret it!
Nickolas Alexander
This is a must go to place for breakfast. Great Ole timey feels and Great food/service.
Mike Miller
Amazing place! Best meal ever. I am here every day and have never had a bad meal. Friendliest servers in town, and everything made from scratch.
daniel cape
dirty wore out food fair service good
Nancy Ptacek
Amazing food. I had the Migas- sauteed corn tortillas, jalepenos, tomatoes, peppers, onions, green chili and cheddar, scrambled into eggs. Served with salsa, refried beans, potatoes and tortillas. Amazing. Tiny place with great food!
Marissa S
Big boy burrito was amazing! And the staff was so kind and courteous. I bet the rest of their food is amazing too. Would love to try them again!
Valan Vopat
Was in Cheyenne and found this little gem. One heck of a good place to eat. Good portions and tasty food. All from scratch. Would recommend dining here!! Will be back.
Gene Jansen
Had an amazing connamon roll. Very big and delicious. Clean restaurant and service was great. Highly recommend shall keep address for next time
Nicholas Barta
Service is amazing the second you walk in the door. Always come very hungry because you get a lot of food! The food is amazing and the prices are easy on the wallet! Highly recommend.
Chris Smith
Cheap place for breakfast with a lot of character. Not high end at all, which is great.
Mr A
Decent food, not the best but far from the worst. It's good diner fare with a side of fake niceness and above average service. Sometimes hit and miss with food quality but worth a try!
Gabriel Sanchez
Their breakfast is amazing! There were great staff and a wonderful cook. I enjoyed it overall and will be going again soon!
Keegan Williamson
Great food, and great service they were very attentive to my food intolerances will definitely stop by if I'm ever in this area again.
Travis Bower
Only had breakfast there but the staff was friendly and the good was good. It nice to see an old established business still pushing through these hard times!

What an AWESOME PLACE! Truck parking in back. Found this little place and GLAD I DID! Owner John came around and visited guests. Burrito was Perfect (green chile) decor is RxR style, small & busy, but worth the wait. Food is excellent! GO THERE!

We ate breakfast there and it was so good. The place is old train car and is going to be on the food network in September after eating there I can see why. We will be back for sure.
Dick Riner
What a wonderful place! The food, the waitress, and the atmosphere are ALL WONDERFUL! Order any of their burgers and you will be blown away by a half pounder, cooked perfectly! I will be back!
Isaiah Delatorre
One of the best restaurants in Cheyenne, especially during breakfast. I try to order something different every time I eat there and it is always exeptional. The only thing I can complain about is the difficulty trying to find a parking space.
Juan Lewis II
Very cozy little diner with a Locomotive theme. Sweet service and fair prices. If they had a sweet signature dish worth writing home about they’d get that 5th star.
Patricia Mathes
Great food...large portions, and excellent service by Pat. Will make this a regular stop.
Jocalyn G
Wonderful classic dinner in a train car and all. The staff is incredibly friendly and treat you like family. The food was amazing and I highly recommend giving it a try!
Philip Cohen
A real piece of americana. The restaurant was built around a luxury dining car from a train. They feature big breakfasts, burgers, and cakes. Our burgers were Wyoming's finest. We didn't need dinner that night.
Jeffrey Rowlands
I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Rachael Peterson

What a little gem this place is. It should be on Diner's, Drive Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. The Luxury Diner is small, but the food portions and friendliness of the employees are huge! I ordered the breakfast biscuit sandwich.
andrew limareff
Quaint little place, well worth the meal break. Serving sizes are f*ing humongous and the food is delicious. Wait staff are on point. All in all, a great spot to stop.

I am so stuffed. I feel like a bear all fattened up for a long winter nap. Those cinnamon rolls look soooo good and I can't eat another bite. But they look soooo good. Hell with it. You only live once.
Annabelle Rangel
Great chicken fried steak. My husband and I were craving for a good chicken fried steak like the ones in Texas and me and my husband finally found this place with an amazingly delicious chicken fried steak and steak fries.

Friday lunch special is fried cod. It came with fries, Cole Slaw and a cup of soup to start. They even though in desert which was a slice of apple pie. Definitely a bargain for under $10!
lawbrat918
Great food, great prices, in an authentic diner setting. As far from the "big box" sit down restaurants as you can get. Real food, friendly staff.
Shawntel Jewl
Very good place to stop. The food was well cooked and tasted very good. The company was comical. Definitely will be paying another visit. Thank you!

Really cool. I think part of it is in an old trolley car. Ribeye breakfast with eggs for 14 bucks! Definite breakfast spot for Cheyenne

Normally a good place, but today was terrible. There were shells left in the egg, hashbrowns were still raw, coffee was unpleasant, and wait staff unprofessional.

Food was ok, service was good, but the building was very cold inside. My wife wanted to leave cause it was to cold inside for her to enjoy her meal.
Wadson (Wadson)
I have not eaten at this place, but I am just here to balance the rating as a disgruntled applicant gave this place a bad score for not getting the job there. To the owners of Luxury Diners, I'll make sure to stop by when I am in the area. <3
Cathie Chadwick
Had biscuits and gravy.... biscuit was fine and tasty but the gravy was lukewarm and not tasty, too much flour and not cooked out. The creamers on the table were curdled.
Wayne Butt
Darn good chow and service!
