My brother and I stopped in Cheyenne while driving across country and got take-out here. It was very good food. I ordered the Enchiladas with Mole sauce. The only reason why it doesn't get the 5-star rating is because the to-go portions were smaller than expected.

What a great little restaurant in downtown Cheyenne! We were passing through and came across this place! Decided to stop in for some Mexican cuisine! My wife and I both had the tropical Cadillac Margarita, which was absolutely phenomenal! My wife ordered the flautas and I had the arroz con pollo! The chips with salsa and bean dip were an excellent touch! Ambiance was traditional Mexican! Staff was exceptional! We definitely recommend this place!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! The food has always been delicious and the staff always friendly and customer focused. We usually come for lunch, and they offer a very reasonably priced selection of lunch entrees, plus daily lunch special. Also, it seems to be a family business and for this and other reasons that will be obvious, I'd call it "authentic." Special kudos to how the staff accommodate my wife's special diet, preparing dairy-free versions of the numerous dishes she has ordered.

Atmosphere is very nice, staff was friendly and attentive. Complementary warm chips salsa and bean dip was so very good. Margaritas were amazing. We enjoyed our whole dining experience and it didn't break the bank!

The atmosphere is great, I love their decorations. My wife and I think the painted chairs are cute. The food was good, though the chipotle sauce on my enchiladas was a little bland. My wife's chimichanga with the cheese sauce was delicious. And the pork that was in it was very flavorful.

The portions are a little smaller these days and a little bit higher priced... but that's everywhere. The service was great, the food was quick, hot and delicious. Got some to go which didn't take long at all. Overall great experience.

Great service and a very colorful place it can be a bit noisy however the food is good although not my favorite in town but it may be yours ....the menu however is large with much variety and everyone can find something they like 👍

An exceptional dining experience. Haven't had a dish I haven't enjoyed. Tonight tried the Mexican trio. Steak, chicken and bacon wrapped shrimp w/ rice and beans. Could feed a family (thank goodness the family wasn't there). Try them, you'll enjoy the staff and food.

We took the whole family for a meal here. The waiter that we had was SO great with our kids, actually having the patience to hold a conversion with our 4 year old about what he wanted to order. The food was great, the restaurant decor and ambiance is beautiful and we had a great time. If I had any complaints it would be that the two people in the hosting booth were both on their cell phones and didn't seem like they were to thrilled to see us walk in. That started us off a little uncomfortable. Luckily the waiter was so great that it turned things around for us.

First time having dinner here and our experience was wonderful. There was a little wait to be seated. Once seated the service was prompt. The menu is vast and there is something for everyone. I ended up taking my leftovers home as the portions are large.

We were in town and were looking for a place to eat, it was around 2:00 PM on a Sunday and the parking lot was over half full. We decided it was either a party or the food was very good. Fortunately for us, it was the latter. The food was good and portions were quite large. The margaritas were the best we have ever had (Lunch Margarita). The food was so good, we decided to check desert. We ordered fried ice cream, and it didn't disappoint. We will go there again, for sure.

Food was so good. It wasn't great but it Surprisingly good. Had the chicken Fajitas and taco salad. They gave so much food for the chicken fajitas that there were leftovers. So, for the price, which i think was like 15$ or 16$ it was worth it. Made a mistake with my food and corrected it almost immediately. The cashier didn't understand what i was saying right away and said that she had already gave me what i asked but another lady helped her and things were cleared up and apologies were made. Great customer service. Clean restroom. No complaints.

We’ve been coming here twice a month for years. Friendly, excellent and efficient service. Best part is consistency with staff, rare in this business. Standouts are Laura, Norma, Maria and Julio. Great margaritas and food is always consistent, huge portions. They’re busy, we usually go Friday night, but we never had to wait too long for a table.

Good food,good service. Plenty of lunch specials selections available 😋. Nice Big beer and margaritas 🍹to enjoy. Great "Postre" Choices (Mexican dessert). Music no loud like some places. Plenty of seating area and great decorative Mexican art on the walls. Water fountain not operational but show be since it is a center piece but kinda disappears from view since nothing eye catching is on it like flower arrangements. The good food makes up for some of the low key atmosphere.

This is an Americanized Mexican menu. So, I only gave 4 stars. They did tame down the entry level flavors. That was a recommended improvement from 2 years ago. My previous review was 3 stars. Our server was very polite and kind. The server paid adequate attention to our dining needs. Our table area was clean. Prices were reasonable. Overall, the food was at a good temp. One of our entrees had freezer burned shrimp, so I just could not give 5 stars. All diners at our table enjoyed their meals.

This place is great. So much on the menu that it’s hard to choose. I LOVED that they have molé dishes and it’s actually really good! The decor was so beautiful, the beans, salsa and chips were a nice beginning. The food I tried... all of it was fantastic!. I ordered the carne asada which was flavorful and tender, I also tried my hubby's food he had the Chile relleno, N cheese enchiladas... I also tried my son's food which was the deluxe beef burrito, all of it was yummy. There was a vast drink selection of micheladas, and margaritas and beers. The staff was friendly and prompt. The prices were very reasonable. I Definitely recommend this place.

I just visited here for the first time and absolutely love it!! I was recommended by a family friend, they said this was the best place to eat in Cheyenne so I gave it a try! Norma was my server and she was terrific. They have a large variety of items on their menu and our server had in depth knowledge of all items I asked about. On top of that, the food was 10/10 and it came out quickly. Price is = with the food quality and the restaurant’s quality. I’d agree, this is the best place to eat In Cheyenne.

My daughter took me to supper for my birthday. I love the bacon wrapped shrimp. It was so good! Before we settled in our chairs, we were served fresh chips and salsa and they were really good! The employees are really kind and attentive and get you anything you need. Best Mexican food in town!

THE BEST strawberry lemonade in town!!! Handmade deliciousness with real strawberries. They have a very yummy, non-spicy white bean dip, spicy salsa and chips for free, placed on the table the moment you sit down. Their food does not disappoint.

Very hectic, busy. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, there were a lot of big parties there from graduation around town. The wait staff had to be summoned for everything from more water napkins to more salsa. Then clean tableware. I'm from out of town so don't have to worry about going back again. The food was OK.

The food it very good and the restaurant is both family friendly and relatively quiet. They are great about taking large groups and seating and serving them quickly and efficiently. I would like to give this restaurant 4 stars but can't because of the staff. The staff is very hit and miss! One time you will get excellent service the next it may seem like you are a inconvenience to the server. Also most of the staff members are English as a second language speakers....this is not an issue when they and you are willing to work at communicating a bit but on days when the staff is a bit off its game it can be a problem.

Service and food is always fantastic. The Mariscos Jarochos is consistently one of the best seafood dishes in Cheyenne. Perfectly prepared, every time. The only downside is that the food is definitely geared towards a less spicy palette.

This is a great Mexican restaurant! Not only do you get chips and salsa, but they bring you a small bowl of refried beans too! Update: I'm noticing that the food seems really bland... there is sauce on the foods but it seems that all the meats aren't cooked in sauces. It's a bit disheartening!

I arrived about 4:30 pm on a Thursday evening. The place was busy, but many seats were open and the entire back room was open. I was meeting my son and grandsons for dinner (their first outing for a meal out since COVID). I was concerned that they had not spaced the tables further apart than the 1 foot that has been there for many years. Most of the way through the meal a family was seated at the table next to me. Meanwhile the entire back room was open. When I expressed concern to the manager I was told that I needed to talk to the owner. While I enjoy the food there and the service is great, I will not be back until COVID numbers are very low. Every breathe that was taken was a potential for infection. You can't eat or drink with a mask.

I have been going to this restaurant ever since it became Hacienda, this is by far the best place in town for the money. The staff is always fast and polite. The food is great and not over priced. I have only had 1 bad experience over the many years, the new waitress messed my order up twice, and when I returned the next time she was not there anymore. This is the most consistent place in town. I highly recommend this place. Guadalajara is good too, but I like the service a little better at Hacienda.

They had a surprising amount of American items, and I went with the mozzarella sticks, which were more than just your typical freeze dried ones. They were warm when brought out and tasted amazing. There was no complaints from anyone about the taste or quality of the food they got. Only one person in our party was let down due to the horchata having condensed milk and he is lactose intolerant. Everything else was spectacular.

I so miss authentic Mexican. Tortilla Factory on South Greeley does a better job for a more reasonable price.

The food portions were out of this world. But the service is as trash. Admittedly we did get there at 4:30ish and that is usually the changing of the shifts so I get it. But I watched crew members walk in and then head to the back and goof off, and then there were tables that waited quite a while for drink service to even start their food. But the portion to price scale was great. The deluxe burrito was GIANT. It really was a deluxe burrito. We made the mistake of ordering a side of refried beans and were astounded that the side of beans was nearly as large as the entree it’s self. Decor was pretty cool too. I love the unique chair carvings. Though the standing water ponds should have probably been drained...?

It's been years since I've eaten here BUT it appears to be the same if not better. Chips and salsa or bean dip was just fine. A Grande Margarita was BIG and strong. The special tonight was camarones chipotle which was shrimp with mushrooms in a chipotle sauce with black beans, rice and salad. It was huge and tasted awesome. A cheesecake for desert was very good too. I may NOT be able t eat breakfast in the morning. I'll return when I can.

Guadalajara's has been around for quite a few years. There menu has a lot of options, and they are able to pull of having a lot of options rather well. When you first sit down they will offer both chips, beans and salsa. If you go there for lunch, as a tip, order the lunch portions, you get almost as much as you would for dinner, for a much steeper price.

I usually love this place. Fast, friendly, pretty authentic. Today must have been a bad day... hut nothing excuses arguing with the customer about a hair on the plate being "a corn hair". If you are in the food service or hospitality industry you know the people coming in are jot only paying for your food but your hospitality. So sitting at the table arguing like I am some dumb white girl when I am from deeper mexico than your mother is far surpassing rude. I've made ny own cheese and homemade tamales and I woild bever ever allow a "corn hair" in my finished product or argue with a customer about a hair saying its only a "corn hair"... business management 101. Lost me. And lost everyone I used to send to you. Good job!

Maggi and I think we are Chili Rellenos aficionados, every time we travel we try to find a Mexican restaurant that claims to have the best. Tonight's choice was the Hacienda Guadalajara in Cheyenne WY. We had the option of a soft or crispy and we ordered the crispy. I believe our server described it as the chili was stuffed with cheese and then rolled in their version of a wonton. We both agreed they are rated right at the top with some of our favorite places. Maggi ordered the Chili Verde and I had the Carnitas. These two were both distinct in flavor, Maggi's pork was soft and tender and my Carnitas had just the right amount of crispness. If you're ever in Cheyenne and craving Mexican I Love This Place!

Been here many times. It depends on what you order. The carne asada is the best in town. Definitely authentic. The sopes are my second favorite. Yes the ones in Mexico are better but these are still good. The seafood soup is also authentic and reminds me of what I ate in Cuernavaca. The fried ice cream is good though not authentic. That is all I eat there. The texture of the flan isn't right and they drown it in chocolate or strawberry syrup, not authentic. The Chile rellenos were so bad my 8 year old son knew they weren't authentic. I like tortilla factory too, but it too has a mix of authentic and not authentic food. I trade off, depends on what I want. The service is really fast unless you go during peak hours. Then it's a 15-20 min wait.

Truckers! Highly recommend this place if you're tired of Subway and Denny's. If you have some time to kill, just park in the alley. This is Mexican food done right.
