I LOVE chinese buffets and this is one of my favorites I have ever visited. There is a wide variety of food. The food is delicious. The service was fast. The price was fair. You didn't have to guess what drinks they served because they're printed on the napkin holder! The decorations are just lovely! This was an awesome choice for a lunch date. I will definitely be returning!

Wish I had some photos, but this is a good buffet. Wide selection, food is good. Let's be honest - you come here to get your Chinese food fix, and it does not disappoint. They have dessert too. To top it off, they have very friendly staff. Would recommend.

The only bad experience I’ve had here was when two other customers got in a ‘proper table manners war’ of all things. Three buffet tables, one full hot, the other two half hot, half cold/fresh. Supper prices are dicey but lunch is reasonable ($9-$11) pretty sure the price change occurs at 3 pm. Staff is typical of a Chinese buffet but there is one waiter who’s exceptional, very smiley and friendly, will update with his name next time I visit. If you’re local, they run a coupon in Hometown.

The rangoons and potstickers are my favorite. The Little pastry that looks like a mushroom with cold pudding is also amazing. Drive from fort Collins on a regular basis for this Chinese buffet Food is usually a hit or a miss. Most of the time it's warm, but sometimes you will get an item that has been sitting and is lukewarm. Service is always top notch. Your drink will likely never be empty.

Solid food. Seems like much of it is genuinely homemade. Steamed dumplings were huge and the wrapper was not bready. Great lunch price at $12 currently.

If I could I would eat at the China Buffet 6 out of 7 days a week. They really keep the place clean including the restrooms they also have a really friendly staff. Food selection is very diverse and well stocked not to mention it's very good food. And by the way thanks for reading my reviews

No longer live in Cheyenne but my fiancé and I take the two hour trip happily to come here every time we want to treat ourselves. Food is incredible, plenty of variety, including vegetarian and pescetarian options, staff is very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back! Absolutely a must!

This was a wonderfully pleasant surprise, first time there, seven adults for my mothers b-day. We all hit the buffet, best I've ever eaten. The food was fresh, plentiful and dang good. We all loved it, outstanding. The choices were many and perfect, salad bar, soup, fruit and even donut holes and pudding. The staff was very accommodating.. cleared the dishes when they needed it, and didn't bug us when we sat and happen, but we're very attentive if we needed anything at all. Very friendly, outstanding food and the price was very reasonable. Seven adults, several seniors, not sure if it was billed that way (I don't think so), I payed it to, you'd think I would notice, but food and drinks for under a bill. Tip em well!

Tried this place 2 weeks ago, drove all the way up from Ft Collins. I've already been back 4 times, highly recommend and worth the drive. Food is always fresh and tastes good. The servers are always friendly and on top of things. The taller gentleman we always get is super friendly and always smiling. This is my new favorite spot and I don't mind driving the 45min. I drive here just to eat at this place.

Mediocre food, egg rolls were odd and not to my liking. Seemed like they kept up on keeping the buffet trays filled. The serving staff was very quick to offer drink refills and to take away used plates. Seemed a bit high priced for most Chinese buffet, especially since it's not a large buffet with a big selection of entrees.

Delicious food. Friendly, quick staff. I've tried three Chinese places here in Cheyenne. This was hands down a step above. When I arrived I looked at a huge poster sized picture menu and circled 6 items plus a soup on an order slip. There were about four staff members filling to-go containers at the buffet for all parties dining in and all of those waiting for take out orders. It was pretty busy but they obviously have a good system down. I love it that they have rice noodles instead of just lo mein like most Chinese places. The inside of the restaurant is pleasant and clean with cool, modern decor. The atmosphere was so soothing that I wish we could have dined in. My husband loved this food and he is not a Chinese food fan, so that says a lot!!! He kept commenting on how good it was. 🙂 Also, you get a full, big container of food for $9.99 so I fed all of my 5 kids and myself for around $30.00. That's cheaper than most other fast food places and it's healthier too. Definitely recommend!!

We visited China Buffet a couple of days ago and it was amazing! They had to change their buffet to where you kinda “order” on a paper up to 6 items off their buffet and then they bring them in to go boxes. We were wondering how this would work out but it was incredible! I kid you not, each box felt like it was 4 pounds! The four of us barely put a dent in our food. We took it to our hotel for dinner later that night and still couldn’t eat it all. Not sure of the guys name that served us, we had been there once before, but he always seems so happy! I love this place! Great experience!

Having been to many Chinese restaurants in the area, I have to say that this is my favorite. The price is very good for a buffet and the staff are always very polite. A few years ago the restaurant was starting to look a little run down, but they remodeled it and now it looks splendid! It's also vegetarian friendly, which is always a plus. Some of the staff also speak Spanish, which is very helpful when my mother wants to come here by herself. I definitely recommend.

We live in Houston and have been to SEVERAL Chinese buffet restaurants and NONE compare to Cheyenne's wonderful China Buffet! We'll be back again and again.

I was skeptical about the reviews especially when I saw how it looked on the outside when I arrived. But once you got inside it became a fairly elegant dining establishment. The food selection is great and the taste even better. (They even had crab legs & sushi). I'm from Texas and travel all over the country. It's nice to find good places like this in my travels. Honestly, never thought about going here before..Wanted some Chinese food during covid and wanted to be able to dine so we went here.I love how they offer you 6 items PLUS soup! I love love love the salt & pepper shrimp and the wontons. The staff is super nice and they remember a face. I honestly hope they continue to do the 6 items and soup when this is all over.

I is a Chinese buffet, you give up in quality for quantity. Not that any of it tasted bad, but there was nothing that stood out. And when I talk of quantity, I eat at least one plate too many. The server was nice in talking with us, since we arrived about 5 minutes before the dinner time. He let us know the difference in the lunch and dinner menus and price. We were able to save money by not eating 3 items.

When in Cheyenne this is the buffet to go to. The food is nicely prepared and the presentation is great. Then there's the taste. The Taste is great. I have so many favorites I have to switch out on a regular basis. Very nice staff.

Chefs regularly check to see if food server dishes need refilling. They also bring a cloth to wipe spills. Price is really fair for a great array of food. A host is available for queries at all times. Consistency with dishes. They do not "skimp" or hold back on expensive mushrooms and shrimp. A lady host proudly shared that people come from all over to have lunch/dine at China Buffet, Cheyenne *****Best in Colorado..Best in Wyoming..that l have tasted. Servings should be moderate. Digest well and savor. If Asian food not your daily consumption, it is inadvisable not to overindulge; as with spicy, firy hot Indian food. Your gut may not welcome it.

We had a great experience here ... First of all I'm not from here.. We stopped in later at nigh from traveling... I didn't know anything about them never been there before.. Unbeknownst to us at the time - we got there 20 minutes before they closed. They never said a word about it and I didn't find that out until we were leaving which that I apologize.. BUT WAS ASSURED they didn't mind... the food is absolutely fantastic even at closing time.. these folks not only have excellent food reasonably very good price but very good business ethics also.. :-).. I would highly recommend this place and I will go back before I leave... they were pleasant the food even at closing time was still yummy.. :-).. thank you China Buffet you have a new customer and new fan....

Reasonably priced. Not enough selection of desserts and some appetizers were not appetizing at all. I skipped appetizer and just ate the main course. Food is really good when you're really hungry. I guess there's not one good Chinese restaurant in Wyoming, you have to travel to Colorado to eat in a good one.

Prettyyyy sure its haunted. Went there one night with my family a few years ago and my mom always gets sweet amd sour sauce, she put it a decent distance away from her plate but throughout the night i saw it move. I was watching it like a hawk, inching closer and closer to moms plate until it was a centimeter away and then never moved again. It was a good 3 inches away originally and its not like the table was tilted or it would have moved all at once. It ever so slowly was inching closer and closer, stopping briefly then moving again. It was creepy. Like it didn't feel unwelcoming or anything just.. bizarre

It seems previous day's food is used even as the buffet opens for the day. Darn, we'd hoped for fresh food at the start of the day. We've noticed msg is used occasionally, as we can tell from our racy hearts after eating. Occasionally, we have tummy troubles afterwards. It is a typical China buffet. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Typical Chinese buffet fare. Everything is actually pretty tasty though, I can't think of anything I've had from there that was bad. They have great hot and sour soup, the beef and broccoli is delicious, as is the pineapple chicken, and crab Rangoon. My only real complaint is that the spring rolls are terrible, they almost taste freezer burnt. I wish they had egg rolls instead.

AOK. Everything on steam tables was hot and fresh. The waiter was good to us. I liked the broccoli and chicken, cheese wontons, mushrooms, and the cheese oysters. Boy did we get STUFFED. We enjoy their style of oriental prepared food. This is very typical of the oriental buffet style restaurants on the front range. It was busy this Friday but we got a seat pretty quick. We go here several times a year. We will definitely go again.

The food has gotten better over the last year but the same guy that stares people down as they try to get there food is still there. Don't expect to eat the "high end" food items without reprucussions of being starred at or a sad attempt of intimidation. One time I asked if they'd put out some hot fresh crab legs and the angry staring guy said he would but didn't do it until we were towards the end of our meal. So if you don't mind nagging people to refill the buffets it's not bad. Good lo mien, butter chicken, sesame chicken, pineapple chicken, all of the basics. It's one of the better Americanized Chinese food places in Cheyenne which isn't saying a whole lot but I'd go there again.

This place is an actual buffet. They have carryout and dine-in. Some days it is slow and other days it is pretty busy. You would think it will be annoyingto have the crowd but it ends up working out in your favor to go on a busy day because they replace the food more often. On slower days the meats tend to dry out. They also have wine and beer

Isn't it fascinating that those with the worst things to say can't use their own names? I love China Buffet. I love the food, the variety, the price, and everything else about it. My mother and I used to eat there once a month, Saturday lunch, and I never saw a mouse or a roach. I'm sure if she had, she would have mentioned it. It's a great place to eat if you like Chinese food. It's not so big on atmosphere, but who cares? It's cheap and there's a lot of it.

My problem is that the food just is very bland, and I like my Chinese food to have flavor. I can't get over that fact.
