The store itself is pretty nice. They have a problem with their design team though. Waiting in line to place an order runs you right past the front door and down one side of an island of seats. There's just not a whole lot of room. If more than five or so people are waiting to order. You also have to deal with quite a few questionable people.

Typical good Wendy's. The breakfast sandwiches are made with fresh eggs. Good stuff. All the usual hamburgers, chili, etc. Clean place. Lots of parking. Drive through also. Staff was okay.

I really liked this place all things considered. It's new construction and interesting - has an ordering kiosk in the seating area as well as the traditional order at the counter. If you haven't used a kiosk before, you should try it out - definitely worth it rather than standing in line. The drinks dispenser is a one font machine - you make your selection from the menu on the panel. Everything about this Wendy's is brand new and leading edge fast service technology, and Wendy's makes a pretty good job of it. The place has a good, easy to use parking lot, all the restrooms were spotless, everything handicap accessible, and the staff very friendly and helpful. All in all, one of the better fast food establishments I have been visited in a long time. Highly Recommended.

It was a Sunday at a downtown restaurant, so I imagine it was slow, but man, the food was bordering on returnable. They were out of several items, but they were getting a truck delivery while I was there. Asked for regular nuggets and got spicy instead, but the chicken sandwich was decent enough. The fries didn't get finished... Moral of the story? Coulda been worse...

Wendy's has some pretty good food it's definitely not as good as McDonald's but it's it's still good I don't recommend getting their french fries cuz they're always cold and Limp no matter what time you go and don't have any times you ask them to be hot laugh out loud

Picked up dinner tonight. The soda machine is not working properly and I had to try multiple times to get the touch display to work. I nearly had to ask for help and I've used dozens of these machines. Had three orders, asked for a drink carrier. They didn't have any and once I got home, one of the orders was wrong. I ordered a "number 4" which is a burger and ended up with a chicken sandwich. This seems to be the norm for fast food so can't really say other places are any better.

I'm rating based on a Wendy's / Fast food scale. Stopped in here for a rest in the highway. The place is extremely well run, courteous employees, and had plenty of workers. Food was good, place was clean, and they offered inside dining. Actually rare during the pandemic where fast food is struggling to find good people and provide decent customer service.

Pros: great location in town. Very centralized and easy to get to from either side of charleston. Cons: sometimes... items are missing from your order

This location is one of the newer Wendy's concepts and it is so much nicer than the predecessor building. All the tables are equipped with USB charging ports and outlets to charge your devices. The drive thru is always busy but the dining room usually has seating. They seem to have sea legs when using the app ordering system, so make sure to alert staff because they don't always know to make a mobile order.

Lol, Avoid the one in west side and just come here! This Wendy's is best in a four mile radius. This place is yet to mess up my food. My other choice is kanawha City! They are just as good. Followed by South Charleston.

I found the charging port island to be a useful feature inside the restaurant. The outdoor tables had umbrellas which made for a relaxing lunch considering it is a fast food restaurant.

Food is so well made I keep going back. Burgers and spicy chicken are fantastic. Baked potato was great. Pub fries were excellant. Just a little on the small size. Over all a great meal for the price.

My order is always correct and these people MOVE. Being downtown, this Wendy's gets a lot of lunch-traffic. But you couldn't tell that by the amount of time you wait in line. They manage to get you through that line super fast and it is always appreciated!

It's a typical Wendy's. You have a 50/50 chance of getting hot fries ... when they are hot they are really good. Frostys are thick so you need a spoon, don't grab one for the road and think you can drink it with a straw while driving. But everyone knows that ... it's a Wendy's.

I visited on 2/7/18 And let me say I was a happy Customer. I only went to the drive-through but the service was great the food was hot. My crispy chicken sandwich was really crispy and not soggy. The parking lot look clean and well kept. If I'm ever back in the area I will stop again.

This modern Wendy's is fast, friendly and clean. The interior layout, though modern, is too tight - much different than the spacious previous store. But hey! It's fast food. You wanna sit and talk for 4 hours go to Star Bucks. :)

Newly renovated, and actually seems to have thought through their COVID protocols. However, I think they should be making better use of the kiosk for ordering - you don't know it's there until you've already ordered.

This has happened several times. The service is great. The problem is that I order a number 1. The picture has lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and looks so appetizing. Then disappointment when I unwrap the burger. It had one tiny piece of onion, small piece of lettuce that didn't cover half of the meat. Then there it was a small sad bit of tomato.

The kids love Wendy's, and Mom and I dig the prices. I still can't understand how they make a profit on the four for four meals. The location in Charleston WV is oddly placed, but the service was awesome and the food fresh.

Much improved since the new building was built, a few different faces on staff and thier nicer too. I normally dash thru the drive through but don't mind going inside either. It's really nice, they took the time and attention to detail on the rebuild, much better than that other place across the street from them.

I don't know if these kids were tired maybe or what but the service wasn't good at all. We ordered a Biggie bag meal, a 4 for 4 junior bacon cheeseburger, no tomato and a 4 for 4 junior cheeseburger. The last two one of them had no nuggets, the junior bacon we never got. There were 2 junior cheeseburger meals and the fries weren't fresh. "Management" Please don't work these children until they are ready to drop because I know they can do better. I guess maybe this was just a fluke cause I've been here before so this was a first for me. ( all the mistakes )

Staff was so-so. They got confused. Food wasn't very good. My daughter asked if we could NOT return to this particular location. Blah. ***Apparently, I didn't learn … went back last night. It was a train wreck from the beginning. I placed the order from the app. The drive-thru clerk found it and told me go to 2nd window. 2nd window asked me to return to the 1st window because my payment didn't go through. I checked my bank account app, and the payment DID process. I would not give them my bank card. They found it, and he said he was bagging up our food “right now.” Took several minutes. When I got home, my salad had the tiny blue cheese crumbles ALL over it, and I ordered without, as I am SEVERELY ALLERGIC! The crumbles were down in between everything as well as melted onto the chicken and other ingredients. There was no scraping it off or digging it out. I had to throw the entire thing in the garbage. He did apologize and offer 2 x $2 coupons for that location only. I gave them to the Parole Officers I work with. I won’t be back. I came to Google to leave a review, and I found I had already given a poor review 4 months ago … I definitely don’t plan on returning at this point!

I have never got a sandwich this well make from any wendys around Charleston. Burgers should look like this and not look like its made from a "average" fast food place, the lack of care for just how it looks means they are working hard back there to make quality food at a fast pace.

Absolutely the best Wendy's in the Charleston area! I actually go out of my way to visit this one. The manager, Denise is very friendly and always makes sure we leave happy. The shaff is beyond friendly , always a pleasure to stop in and see so many smiling faces...it is rare. The food is always hot and the best. And those rare times when there is a hiccup, it is always fixed! Thanks for a great lunch every single day!!! :)
