My wife, kids and I got some take out waffles as a treat last week and they were amazing. I had the strawberry cheesecake waffle. One daughter had the Nutella waffle and the other had the strawberries and cream waffle. My wife had the banana cream pie waffle. All of them were terrific. We were new to the shop and ordered two waffles with each order. The portions were huge! We could've easily done one waffle and been more than full. If you're looking for something sweet to treat yourself on occasion, I can't recommend this place enough. It was delicious!

My friends and I went to the S'Waffle Shack for the first time today. Two of us got the Cinn-Oh-Mann!! N'Fruit and one of us got the Biscoff Fruit Buddy. I have to say, it was a delicious treat to start the day off with. The waffles were fluffy and crisp and the fruit was a perfect addition. It was on the sweet side, but today that is exactly what we needed. Thank you for bringing such a unique place to Charleston, WV. ^_^

The deck is an amazing atmosphere! The waffles were amazing! So glad they offer fresh fruit and that it was customizable. Pictured is the cinnamon waffle with fruit.

Highly recommend the luck of the Irish or the taste of summer. The portions are huge and the owner is very helpful. Great selection and fruit was fresh.

My son and I stopped in for the first time a few days ago. I had the blueberry cheesecake waffle and my son had the apple pie waffle. Very surprised by the entire experience. The waffles were huge with a ton of goodies on top. Never saw my teenage son eat anything so fast. We both loved the waffles, oh yeah! The owners there were very friendly and polite. Can't say enough great things about this place. Awesome. If you are in the area you gotta stop by if gourmet waffles are your thing!

When i die and go to heaven i can only hope to find waffles this good. Yes currently the business is only working on a carry out basis but when the food is this good take it back and make the others jealous

Kind of a hole in the wall but one of the few places in Charleston that has custom waffles...decent price and the amount of berries on mine was a meal in itself. Seating is sparse (we ate on the deck on the side but wasn't optimum) so consider this a take away place - we did take one home and the waffle did stand up to a 15+ minutes drive. I was impressed - good waffles myriad of options + coffee and custom sodas.

Being a life-long resident of Charleston's West Side, I am thrilled to see a new, unique business take it's place here. Keeping in mind that The S'waffle Shack is still in beta mode and has not had their official opening yet, here are my impressions. I stopped in around 11:30 today and was promptly served. It took about 15 minutes to get my order and get out the door. The smell of lovely waffles greets you as you walk in the door and you have dozens of options to choose from for your toppings. I chose strawberries and cream and it was yummy!. I do find it odd that there is no indoor seating (they are working on providing outdoor seating for now); I don't think of waffles as a take-out food! By the time I got mine home and onto a solid plate, the waffle had cooled down; I like mine hot off the griddle. I ordered the "double" with two waffles and could only eat one - they are huge! I'm saving the second one and will try to heat it up later for supper or tomorrow's breakfast. I hope that will help with one problem I found - the center of the waffle wasn't quite done. I also ordered a drink (Sprite, strawberries & cream) but dropped it as I was trying to get out the door while balancing everything. (Sorry for the mess!) I still have high hopes for this unique food service operation and wish them the best as they work out the kinks!

Just s'wawesome! I tried them out on door dash. I got the cin-o-man! a few drinks, and a coworker got the cheesecake with berries. It was ridiculously good. Very sweet, but great. I never would have thought to myself that I needed the swaffle shack in my life, but I'm happy they're there to bring sweet joy into the lives of people in Charleston.
