Not sure why everyone is head over hills for this place. The food is not bad. It's just not that great. My steak was over cooked, not a huge problem, I ate it. I think the rolls are better at Logan's. I would trade that cinnamon butter for a better tasting roll any day. The service is fantastic. The staff will go the extra mile to make sure you have a nice time.

We have always received quick and polite service at this location. We usually get the rattlesnake bites (deep fried spicy cheese balls) and the chicken fried chicken. Food’s always been great. The chicken is thick but moist. The green beans are really good here too; lots of meaty flavor. Everyone knows about how great the fresh rolls and cinnamon butter are.

My mom, partner and I all decided to go to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner! Now, I'm not a steak person but my mom and partner absolutely love them... so they were definitely excited. Texas Roadhouse was a new experience for me. The staff was super nice and fun and the dancing was definitely entertaining :) It was way more fun than I had expected! Our food was perfectly cooked, the steak was nice and tender and I would definitely go again. Give it a try!

I was gonna give 4 bc of the wait, but the wait isn’t their fault so I gave a 5. Food was amazing, we did tho eventually give up waiting and sit at the bar to eat but our food came fast and service was great. Also loved the dance that they did. I def will be going back.

We started out with a cactus blossom and it was crispy but the sauce they serve with it is not very flavorful like I had expected. Then we ordered 2 sirloin one with shrimp one without and that was the best part hands down flavor and tenderness the Italian dressing they have is very interesting and maybe have cinnamon in it not sure. Also the first steakhouse I have been to that doesn't serve bread or rolls at the beginning so that was a bit off setting. But overall great just super crowded.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ray (manager) and Amanda (waitress) went above and beyond to make sure we could use a coupon issued by another location. Amanda was very attentive. Our tea was always refilled and she brought us to go cups for our long drive. The food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. 10/10 recommend. If we ever come back through the area, we will definitely be stopping here for dinner!

My food was okay and I like the place. However, all of the food that we ordered was overcooked and dry. They could do better. The salad was the best part of the meal. The rest of the family says they'd rather go to longhorn. Ill come back, probably without the family.

My steak was cooked to absolute perfection! The atmosphere was relaxed and right on Par with being in South Central West Virginia. Waitress was right there when we needed her and the wait was next to none. My first visit to this particular location definitely won't be the last.

as a former food service worker, i understand how challenging peak lunch hours can be - but our server who was named Jay went above and beyond for our table even while being extremely busy. He was so beyond polite and genuinely went out of his way to keep checking on us to make sure everything was good. I usually don’t feel compelled to write reviews on here but he did such an amazing job that I had to comment on it!!

They were extremely busy, but the server we had was amazing. We never went without refills, and she actually brought back things we needed or asked for. My only complaint is their version of the blooming onion was too hard to really enjoy.

Loved our waitress. The staff dancing was great. Cheerful atmosphere. The downside, we had to wait an hour and a half to get in. I was not prepared for that long of a wait. I still enjoyed my evening. Thanks! Texas Roadhouse.

Waiting to be seated was about 45 minutes but is always expected for any restaurant on the weekend. We had to wait an extra long time on our food because our order got lost, but our waitress Zyna made our experience wonderful! She has a wonderful personality and is very sweet! She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied! Food was pretty good too!

Went to Texas Roadhouse at Southridge for dinner (we had a couple GC from a fundraiser we bought). The lot was packed, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the cactus onion blossom (I think that is what it’s called) for an appetizer and the sirloin with baked potato and Caesar salad. The appetizer was delicious. Caesar salad we were not a fan. The dressing tasted more like miracle whip than Caesar. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and cut like butter. Baked potato was fabulous as well. This was our first time visiting, we will definitely be back! Shout out to Brittaney our server, she was fabulous!

We went Easter sunday at 4pm, it was not busy. We ordered Sirloin and Ribs combo, and 16oz Sirloin dinner. Steaks were cooked to our liking. Salad is usually crispy but not today. Service was great. Recommend using the online check in so you dont wait as long once you get there.

Delicious! Server was very attentive. Appetizer came out fast. Dinner was delicious. The cinnamon butter on the rolls was on point. My only complaint was the parking. We had to circle the lot for 10 minutes before we could find a place to park.

I'm so sad about this visit. Although we got seated in a timely manner , things started going downhill. The first thing they were OUT of ribs, the only reason we really went. So my husband tried the catfish because he was told it was excellent. After an excessive wait time we finally got our food it was very disappointing. The fish was not good. This time was a miss, sad to say.

The wait was long but it was a Friday night and opening week. With that said, the wait was totally worth it. I’ve been to several locations through WV,KY, and PA This one is one of the betters ones. Considering how swamped they were the service and food was incredible as it always is. I’m really happy to see a quality chain like this enter Southridge. I fully expect them to give Longhorn a run for their money.

Loved the decore and the food was amazing. Service was great. Always was being tended to. Highly recommend to visit. The steak is amazing aswell as the blooming onion. The ribs are more smokey than sweet but still fall right off the bone. They also have an awesome dipping sauce for their blooming onion.

The waiter went out of his way to say her name and get everybody’s attention for the birthday clap and the food was really good so I did enjoy it and I’m picky. The butter has cinnamon makes it so be careful if you have an allergy but my God it is amazing

Delicious food! I didn't expect to like the cinnamon butter, but it makes the rolls taste like cinnamon pretzels, which I love. Been back a few times and it's been consistently great. If you're an early bird you can have 2 meals for less than $25!

Great service - from the welcome, to the host, to the server (Znai was awesome)! About a 10 min wait, if you want prime rib - go before 7 pm. Lively (there were about 5 birthdays and singing while we were there). Great steak and sides! We'll certainly be back.

Staff was wonderful. Drinks were hit and miss, one pretty strong and the other tasted like Kool aid. Ordered the mozzarella sticks 5/5 awesome. Cheese fries 3/5 good at first but the solidified cheese made them unimpressive very quickly. Chicken with mushrooms and onions was pretty dry, had some flavor but not the best. Did they change the rolls??? They used to be fluffy and light but now they seem so stodgy and dense. Didn't feel awesome after eating this. 3 stars because it was clean and the staff was very sweet and patient with the larger group I was with.

We tried to inform the manager but our call was never answered by a manager nor did we get a call back. 24 hours of illness did not leave us with a good feeling about this business.

The food that we got was okay. It wasn't exactly anything to write home about except for my baby back ribs were extremely dry. But the service was good and the atmosphere was nice. I'm not one to form a bad opinion over something small so overall it was a good experience and I will probably give them another shot.

My husband and I went for the first time, and loved it. Went earlier, about 3-4 pm, so our wait to be seated was very short. We each ordered the 1lb. Prime Rib, and they were cooked exactly how we wanted. Good sized sides rounded out these awesome meals. Our server was very friendly, and attentive our entire time there. We are very much looking forward to eating here again.

The first time I came here, I dined in and everything was perfect. The second time (tonight), I got takeout, and ehhh.. I ordered a burger without onion & mushrooms, and it had onion & mushrooms. I was pretty disappointed but no big deal, I might be able to pick them all off when I get home; plus, I still have wings! These were the wings I got. $9 for 8 wings smaller than McNuggets. At least my boyfriend’s food was fine. This could be isolated, but it seems to me that they put less effort into takeout orders. So if you wanna eat here (the food tastes great when it’s done correctly), sit inside. I’m giving 4 stars because I know they just opened, so it’s constantly rush hour. I don’t wanna be too critical about a new restaurant.

Very disappointed at this visit. My husband and I always get the 12oz ribeye. The steaks were super thin! I questioned the manager about it I was told they are cutting thinner “so there is less fat”! She suggested I get the 14 oz next time.That’s not the answer for me. I guess it’s back to LongHorn for us!!!

I know this place is new, but I was disappointed. Service was slow getting to us, the app came out so late it wasn't an app, and most disappointing - the waitress Jordan forgot a birthday. Today is my Birthday and we decided to get Texas Roadhouse. We have been there before and it was great. Tonight we had to place a To Go order. When I placed my order it was in person at the restaurant. I asked for Honey Mustard sides for one meal and ordered extra ranch for the other. When our food was ready, the guy was checking our order he said to make sure it was correct. The sauces I asked for weren't in the bag. The girl did get them for me. And I asked her if the butter was for the rolls, in which she replied Yes. I drove 45 min and dropped the food off to my fiance at work, only to realize they didn't put any rolls in there at all ! I realize it's just rolls, but when you go to a restaurant just because you love the bread, it's super disappointing. And the order slip has it printed 3 times with exclamation marks- *****BREAD!!!!!***** I was not going to drive back 45 minutes to get the rolls but we shouldn't have to look at our whole order to make sure it's correct.

My steak melted in my mouth and my wife's salmon was the best she's ever had. And I mean she has salmon every time we go out to eat. She says that this place is better than Applebee's and O'Charleys.

I do not like having to go into that little room to place a to-go order and I should be allowed to place my order to go in the main restaurant. The little room on the right hand side is small, and they're always making cups of things in there - like putting in butter into self-serving cups. They shouldn't have open food there with regular customers going in and out of that little room, and I'm surprised the health department allows them to do this.

Great experience! They were very busy(all the time the hostess said)! We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table of 6. They served us plenty of hot bread with butter. My husband got a Ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and it was amazing! FYI the staff stops in the aisle all together in a line to do some kind of 2-step dance.

We were so looking forward to eating at this establishment. The 3 stars are only for the ladies that served us and took our orders. They were very pleasant and attentive. The food was underwhelming and not the proper temperature! Sent our entrees back twice. Then orders came out staggered so needless to say we didn’t eat together. The woman that came to speak with us per my request was completely uninterested and acted as if me explaining the issue was an inconvenience. No apologies. However the kitchen manager came out and was more that’s accommodating!

Arrived b4 opening and a line was forming. They seated everyone early. Rolls hot and delicious. Wife's sirloin tender and great flavor. Fresh salad and perfect baked potatoes. My catfish was good portion and tasty. Ordered a to go salmon meal and my MIL said it was great. Definitely worth the trip

This was our first visit to a Texas Roadhouse, and it was GREAT! We were a little nervous about wait time due to a fairly full parking lot, but we were immediately seated at a booth near the bar. The service was fast! Our waiter took EXCELLENT care of us, keeping our drinks full and even bringing some extra dinner rolls. The portion sizes are VERY generous, so come hungry! A variety of items to choose from for sides - the Sweet Potatoes are AWESOME! Desserts are definitely worth saving room for!Don't forget to ask for the roasted peanuts, they really make it! We are looking forward to another dinner at Texas Roadhouse!

Food was very good how ever to sit and enjoy the dinner with family and friends was horrible the music was so loud the waitress couldn't hear our orders we had to shout I ask to speak with manager as well as others did when he came to table he appeared to be upset that we bother him and stated I will monitor it well it didn't help right away he did it in his own time eventually it was turn down some still unable to hear family members I ask to speak to him again and again he displayed an attitude and went and turned it down a little at least we were able to speak without shouting to one another like I said food and waitress very good but atmosphere horrible but I will try again for those reasons but if it is nerve racking to enjoy a meal with family when I do it will be our last and we had 16 in our party.

Our waitress was very attentive and the food was cooked to perfection. The only complaint that I have is the music. It was so loud that I couldn't hear the person next to me talking. I've been to many Texas Roadhouses and have never herd the music this loud.

The service from Tirza was impeccable! She took amazing care of us and was cheerful and outgoing. The portion sizes of the steak and prime rib were perfect. Food tasted good but didn't just blow us away (a little bland for our taste) and for the price I kind of expected a little more in that regard. IMHO very comparable to other steakhouses in the area though considerably more expensive. I hate that they aren't open for lunch and that's a big reason why I have 3 stars. I doubt we will visit often as our work schedule means we only have afternoons available 99% of the time.

I know it brand new and everyone wants to try, but management needs to get it together. We made are reservations 44 minutes they called us in to be seated, but we had to wait another 20 minutes. They seated another party with the same number while we were seated waiting with in the 20 minutes. Placed are party of 9 at a table of 6, add a small table for two, and place a chair at the end. This is why I like locally owned restaurant, but this was not my pick. It was the birthday boys.

My friend, who doesn't do social media of any kind, had dinner here this past week. He has been sitting here telling me how fantastic the food was. Steak cooked perfectly. He was especially impressed with Sara, the hostess. He said she was wonderful with the elderly people she was guiding to their tables. He also said that the service was great. He grew up in his parents restaurant,and pays a lot of attention to the service side. I'm looking forward to trying g this restaurant.

Yes my name is Kelly me and my coworkers ordered from hospital yesterday and came to the drive-thru got our orders had five orders only got four of them the food was excellent but the time I got back and was told that one of the orders was there we called and told them oh it's sorry about that but then we had to waste gas in time to go back out there and get the last order because we wanted it all over co-workers to be to eat with us we called and explained to them what happened but you know we had to take another 25 minutes to drive out the quarter g drive back to the hospital with the last order and everybody else had already eaten the order was cold so we had to put it in the microwave and mine was cold because I had to put it in the microwave also which I didn't like but the burger was excellent wasn't sure by management that they would give us some coupons to take care of it by email of course they did not so I feel really disappointed and with the way gas prices are today we need to take double time and check and make sure things are right and and make sure the customer has all orders one place to order like that but this staff was friendly management was good but follow up if you're going to commit to do something don't don't mislead

Did call ahead seating for 9 people. Was told 25-35 min we finally sat down hour and 15 min later after my husband suggested an open table 🤦‍♀️ the waitress was great. My dinner was great, husbands was awful. The manager that came to talk to us, after having his porterhouse remade twice never really apologized they just said "well were working out the kinks". Never offered to comp it. My husband said maybe next time you can just pay for my meal and at that point he said or we could just take it off tonight 🙃. Overall, it definitely did not live up to the hype and I'm pretty sad about it.

Very disappointed in my first trip to the new eatery...could have easily rated as a 2!!had lunch at the bar, all new tv's etc..ordered medium well filet, baked potato and grilled shrimp..got a rare steak,a potato with no butter, and shrimp with no flavor.enjoy a cold draft ipa with my food..0 ipa draft or bottle..seriously????also I have a hearing issue, I wear hearing aids, had to remove them for the amount of noise...11 birthday songs during the meal...and the final result was the $100.00 that it cost me to be miserable...Sorry Longhorn, but I'll c u soon....

We had a 25 minute wait. Not bad. Our waitress, Brittany, was great!!! Our appetizers took a while. My sisters salad came out about 15 minutes before the apps. We both had the 12oz. Ribeye. It was cooked the way we ordered. Very tender. I thought mine was salty tasting but she didn't notice that.

Originally had a 2 hours to 2 1/2 hour wait, which turned into a 4 hour wait. But it was worth it with the atmosphere of the everyone. All were very friendly and smiley and very apologetic for the wait, which is not their fault, it’s a new and popular restaurant, totally understandable. Our server Olivia was amazing and went above and beyond to exceed any expectations of how the evening would go. Will be asking for her from now on. Keep up the amazing work everyone!

We love Texas Roadhouse and we were so excited that Charleston has a location now. The food is excellent and the service is always on point. If something does go wrong, they are always willing to make it right. My only slight complaint is the wait-list system here. We have been to many roundhouse locations and when we receive our text to enter the restaurant we are promptly seated. At this location, you check in and then you have to wait again. I’m not sure if this is a new company procedure but I’m not exactly a fan of it, especially if we waited 1.5-2 hours for a table already.

We walked in and sat at the bar immediately upon arrival! Monday around 4pm -Izzy was our smiling Bartender that greeted us upon sitting down! She is an excellent motivational speaker & just an awesome gal! She upsold us on appetizers-drinks-entrees you name it! She needs to be opening units for corporate! She blew us away & this is not the only time! She is leaving this week to go back to WVU & working at that unit. Just can not brag on her enough I opened units with Outback in the 90’s & I know talent & skill💙 Izzy immediately had our rolls in front of us! Upsold large drafts to us🍽️we ordered the 11oz Sirloin with add on grilled shrimp. Steamed Broccoli & House Salad with 1000. Steak cooked to a med rare-Very nice vibe & we loved our experience! Convenient to the Interstate ramps! Stop by & see our local Roadhouse!

Good food, good service. We did call an hour and a half ahead of time for a party of 6 adults, 2 kids, and a baby for 5pm and used the app, hoping for a shorter wait time. They told us that would be fine and they would be ready for us around 5:00-5:15 pm. When we got there, they had us wait another hour and 15 minutes anyway.
