Reviews of Sitar of India
Amazing food, and what a great host! Gurupreet paji you are the best. He leaves not stone unturned to ensure that our experience is good.
Wanted to try something different and we weren't disappointed! Great place, excellent food, wonderful people!!!
Whoever gave this place one star is on some B.S. I have dinner here once a week and everything I have ever ordered is on point. My absolute favorite dish is the chicken curry. I won't eat Indian food anywhere else because none of them are ever as good as Sitar. The staff is so friendly. I tell anyone I know that is going to Charleston to eat at Sitar.
Sitar of India is a very friendly environment and the food is always great. The Singh family has a staple establishment of downtown Charleston, which provides a wealth of happiness and full tummys.
One of the best Indian food restaurants in Us let alone in Charleston wv. If you're traveling to Charleston i would recommend coming trying this food its one of the best cuisines you'll ever get. 5 stars. Owners are wonderful and will go above and beyond if needed. Will order again.
Sitar of India had some of the best Indian food that I have ever had in my life. There isn't much more to say beyond that. The atmosphere was awesome, and the staff ensured a wonderful experience. We will be back asap
Absolutely, the best restaurant in West Virginia!! I've been to many Indian restaurants from Florida to NY, and Sitar beats them all!! The owner/staff are all super friendly, thus the reason I'm a 20+ year patron of Sitar. Oh, and if I may suggest a dish, order Chicken Kashmiri and
Onion Naan. Mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
Was in town for work and I always try to hit a local Indian place. Great food and a very friendly manager/owner. Will be back if I come back this way.
No doubt the food was good and the staff was friendly. However, there are few things that made me unsatisfied.
1. Food was good but it wasn't warm and there was no steam coming out of the food. For best taste, curry dishes should be warm enough. I say, piping hot!
2. We got chicken Tikka Masala and lamb Rogen Josh. There was not much difference whatsoever in their gravy. They used same gravy / curry sauce for both the dishes. Not so cool! We even asked our server what's the difference between the two, he never mentioned they're so similar.
3. Naan supposed to be thicker than chapati / roti. But guess what? It was the other way around.
Overall, our visit was not bad. We asked him to make it very spicy and he did that which made us happy because, " if it ain't spicy, it ain't good!"
Very good atmosphere neet and clean place very friendly staff and food quality very high chicken Tika masla ,palk paneer, dal makni, Chana masla ,mango lasi Amazon i trid many other stats many other restaurants but i could not get same satisfaction all our family love sitar of inda
Super delicious butter chicken and goat curry. Family liked tandoori chicken and malai kofta. Thank you for awesome food and service
I go to
This restaurant all the time .thay are service very good .store are clean .food was so fresh .thay are very friendly .this is my one of favorite place to eat
An about random visitor to the place since my husband was craving for Indian food and it was a amazing experience!! The food was Amazing, the service was also pretty good!! Will visit again if in the area
Delicious, high quality, authentic Indian cuisine at a reasonable price. Buffet is stellar, good selection. Friendly and professional team. Check it out!
I tried their vegetarian thaali which was quite good. I only visited Charleston once so can’t compare Sitar’s food to other Indian places in the city but it was undoubtedly above-average in taste.
This place is great! I've been to other Indian restaurants and I've been making my own curry for years, but the curry here was SO much better than anything I've had in the past!
We had the lamb curry and chicken korma, both were great.
The food from their buffet, and the service was excellent! The restaurant is latex-free because the manager is allergic, so it is safe for my fellow latex allergy sufferers. Extra points for being fully handicap accessible, and nobody seemed surprised that I was in a wheelchair. I highly recommend this restaurant, all the food was excellent, but my favorite dish is the curry chicken.
The staff was friendly and accommodating to his customers. They have amazing food like lamp curry and chicken. Best restaurant in West Virginia. 5+ stars for this.
The best Indian cuisine in the area. If I lived or worked closer I would eat here at least once a week, if not more
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the country. Absolutely taste out of this world!!! I'm drooling just typing this message..😊😊❤️ 5 star.
Great place to eat! I like how they have different options from day to day. Staff is very personable and ready to accommodate.
Thanks to other Google reviews we stumbled on this find after 2 failed attempts at other restaurants (one was no where to be found, the other closed). What a lucky find. Its not fancy. Perhsps the decor has seen better days but it is charmingly Indian. I positioned myself so I could watch the Indian music videos playing. What production!!! The food was fragrant, filling and good. The prices are affordable (if you are on a budget like me). Pete, our waiter, was attentive. If I lived here I'd be a frequent customer. Its worth a try if you are in the area.
I stopped here in June 2018 on a road trip. Credit card machines were down throughout downtown. Employees here welcomed anyone who came near the door, saying, “You can pay next time.” They didn’t seem concerned about being compensated. They only seemed to care about making sure everyone got fed and properly cared for. We were treated like honored guests. The food was great, but what impressed me most was their attitude. That level of service is priceless.
Average Chicken Tikka Masala, average Aloo Nan. Friendly service.
This place is so good and the staff is very friendly. Good portions for the price, i recommend
No doubt, best, and most flavorful Indian in the entire region. No one can touch this place for flavor and quality. Biggest thing is its consistently good. What you get this week is what youll get a month from now. Top top notch.
Great Indian restaurant run by a hard working family who wants to serve great quality Indian food. Staff was very polite and friendly. Spices were better than most places I have tried. We had malai kofta and Shahi paneer. Both were well done and tasted great. Highly recommended if you are in the area or drive down to Charleston downtown just to have this food.
Always delicious there with the chicken tiki masala!
This is the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to, and we have had many. We seek out Indian food wherever we travel and have had some wonderful food, but nothing ever tops this place. The staff are friendly and kind and take great care of you whether you are dining in or ordering takeout. My daughter lives out of town and makes it a priority to have their food every time she visits. There is no variation in the quality - it is amazing every time. Highly recommend!
Love the food!! Get it as hot or mild as you'd like. Wait time is always short and everyone there is friendly. Stop by for the lunch buffet to try a number of their most popular offerings.
2022: Lunch buffet is $13. I LOVE INDIAN FOOD! Everything is delicious. The server/owner was SO NICE! They need more vegetables choices. There's only korma.. also some peppers and onions mixed with some kind of sweet and sour chicken... also green lentils but those are like beans. They had a dessert item that they didn't have on the buffet before: Gulab jamun. There was a pitcher of mango lassi by the hot tea.
Note to the owner: Please serve Saag Paneer on the buffet. Website still says $9.99 oooooold price for lunch buffet. Please remove the inappropriate picture of the women's breasts exposed from the bottom of her bralette.
2021: This was my first time. The food was delicious. I am excited to come back to order from the menu . The server is really friendly. The owner was nice.
We had the lunch buffet for $11. I am disappointed in the variety on the buffet but I would have it again. The owner said the variety is low because of covid. I would eat Indian food every week if I could
A nice surprise to find such good Punjabi Indian cooking in downtown Charleston, WV. Service is wonderful and warm. The Punjabi curry was freshly made and delicious with good flavors. The okra - bindi- was fresh, spicy and delicious. Next time we are passing through we will be sure to stop again.
We were just passing through town and read the reviews of this restaurant and decided to give it a chance. The reviews don't do it justice the food was absolutely fantastic and the owner could not have been nicer. I can highly recommend it as a wonderful place to eat. We had chicken korma and Seafood marsala.
sitar of india has some of the best food you can eat in charleston. everything's always so fresh and their staff is very courteous.
I don’t know why in the world there are any bad reviews. I thought I hated Indian but this restaurant made it one of my favorites. It is SO delicious and definitely the best Indian I’ve ever had. The staff is so nice and even remember who we are and where we work when we come in. The prices are reasonable too. The buffet is the best, my only complaint is that there isn’t a dinner buffet too lol, but I understand why there’s not. This is my favorite place in Charleston though!
We had a terrific experience at this restaurant. The food was great! The service was wonderful. Our server was very nice and friendly. We over heard the waiter talking to a nearby table and when he found out that on of the patrons was vegan he said he thought that there might be butter in the food so he had the guests dinner remade and also had naan bread made vegan for him. I was so impressed because the patron had neglected to mention that he was vegan before he ordered. This restaurant seems to want to make sure their customers have a good experience.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant for chicken curry. I wish they would bring the heat a little more. Lol
First experience with Indian food and it was excellent. Honestly couldn't tell you what I ate but it was good and the staff was very friendly
Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly. This was our first time here and they made us feel so welcome. The bread was so amazing. We are definitely going back again. Give them a try. If you have any questions, they will give you recommendations from the menu. If you dont like things too spicy, just let them know.
Excellent food. Good price
This place is wonderful! The food was sophisticated and delicious, including many fine spices! The naan bread was perfect. The gentleman who served us was very informative and pleasant! I give Sitar of India the highest recommendation.
One of the best India restaurant I have ever been! I am just traveling to the Charleston from a big city and I am very picky for food, from its looking and more importantly the taste. 5 stars is definitely rare for me to give. But this restaurant is one of them. If you are looking for an authentic India food, not a modified American style, then you are coming to the right place. I ordered the fish & shrimp Marsala which is not on the menu (but the owner made it for me), garlic nan and mango drink. I am very happy with all of them. The Marsala source is very rich and creamy, the species used for this dish is fantastic. I can’t help to eat it all. You have to try it to experience it.
I am a vegan and I live in Florida. So my options are limited here. This a great place to eat for vegans as well. Lunch buffet is filled with many options to choose from for the vegans. Dinner time they make a vegan bread just for me it's awesome it's made ot of chick pea flour and some other ingredients. It's awesome I love it. So if you're a vegan I recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Very friendly atmosphere and the staff is AWESOME.
Excellent service and food was really tasty
My family has eaten here for years. This is the best place for Indian food in the entire Charleston area. They are very family friendly, and the kids love it just as much as we do (not just because of the mango lassi). You can also spice to your preference, so if you can't handle the heat - just order mild. I prefer inferno hot, but the kids can't take it yet. We love sitar, and we'll continue eating there for years to come.
This is the best and most authentic Indian restaurant place in Charleston - WV. Their food is always delicious. The place is very clean and the staff is amazingly nice! I suggest you try their lunch buffet. You will be able to try all kinds of Indian dishes. Needless to say, the price is on point. Very affordable. Great place to go with friends or family for great food.
Very tasty indian food. Try the Chicken Ticka.
This family owned restaurant has the Best Indian food in town! Dad & Pardom are great ppl please support them so they will stay in our town. Much luv guys thank u so much for great food & great service!
This place is EPIC!!! Hands down the best Indian restaurant in the state. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff is very friendly and the service is top notch!
Am I going back? Why wouldn’t I?? If you’re not eating at Sitar, you’re missing out.
The the food is terrific and the service is very friendly. The lunch buffet is a great deal.
I love the food, but if you eat half and want to take your leftovers home, they will charge you an additional "takeout fee." They don't tell you upfront and your food goes to waste. They need to tell you to either order takeout or that you are not allowed to takeout any leftover food. Maybe they should raise the price of the food bar and let you take your leftovers home. I would visit a lot more if they did.
Sitar of India is a wonderful dining experience. The servers and people who own the business are very kind and caring and make sure the customers have everything they need. They always keep a smile on your face because they are so outgoing and friendly!
The food is absolutely delightful! It's some of the best Indian I've ever had; it's the perfect level of spicy and is very flavorful! I highly recommend Sitar to anyone who wants to have a tasty meal with wonderful service!
I eat a lot of Indian food and we made a quick stop while passing through West Virginia. I decided to try two dishes that we don't have back at home and they were both very good: Chicken Kofta and Chicken Makhnwaia - they were cooked with a lot of oil and spice which gave them great flavor! Would recommend.
Great service! Extremely polite. Decor is beautiful. The naan is absolutely delicious. I had both the lamb naan and the garlic nann and i highly suggest both. Korma was delicious as was the achor lamb. The vegetable samosas were a little bland but otherwise everything else was delicious. I highly suggest giving sitar of India a try!
They are always friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious.
Gopi runs a really unique place. The food is absolutely phenomenal, authentic North Indian cuisine (do try the malai kofta). But just as importantly, he makes you feel at home with his friendly banter and care for your experience. Highly recommend.
Finding NO healthy place to eat in Charleston, I was so happy I found Sitar of India. Superb dining. Wonderful selection! I like it HOT and he provided it. Its not always easy to eat vegetarian when I travel so THANK you so much for having a great selection.
We were traveling from out of town and I went on a gut instinct to try this resturant. Oh my goodness! From the moment we walked in The gentleman working were amazing. I told them I eat a Vegan diet and they were more than happy to take any of the plates and veganize them for me. My friends and I each got a different dish and all three blew my taste buds away. I would highly recommend this spot. 😆
Everything was amazing! The food was delicious, the booths are very comfortable, there is nice Indian decor and music. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
If you come in for dinner when the buffet isn't Vailable I highly recomend the non vegetarian Thali, especially if you have trouble choosing or would like to try a few different things. This is basically a sampler of three entries with some sides, a desert, and tea included. The food is delicious and flavorful, and they will adjust the spices level to your taste, so don't be afraid if you want to try indian food but don't want something super spicey.
This is one of best restaurant i have been to very good service friendly and professional buffet
First time dining here. The food was sooooo good and service was great despite being busy. We will definitely be coming back.
Food is good. I wouldn't say the best Indian chef in world, but they cook pretty good. Try the buffet at lunchtime (between 12 and 2 I think). It's not expensive and you get to taste all items to find out your favorite.
Amazing quality food to compliment a great cozy atmosphere. As a North Indian, I also found great love and comfort in seeing that the food and staff (family-ran?) reminded me much of home. One of Charleston’s best!
The food was good but the service was sub par and the portions were not worth the price. Very little for the big cost. I asked for spicy and they said medium was white people spicy, and it was not spicy enough. The atmosphere was beautiful though.
Great people,very friendly,
Great food...always
Fantastic service! We’re vegan and they took the time to go over all of our options and even made us a special dish not even on the menu. They remembered us the second time we came, and had the dish ready. We will definitely be back!
The Sitar is a good one and has been around for maybe 20 yrs. I stopped by this evening for takeout and they did it up right. We have an Indian population in town so they don't "dumb it down" for the American palate. As said, this is a good one.
Great food. We came after closing time, they opened the store for us, didn't let us go hungry. Cooked food for us and both father son were very hospitable. They spoke to us in Punjabi and made it feel like eating at home, would very highly recommend to everyone.
The vegetarian options I've tried so far have all been delicious, but don't get "medium" spicy unless you like to feel your entire digestive tract. "Mild" is still just a bit spicy and it is perfect for me. They also have yogurt to sooth your tongue if you picked a higher spice level and regret it. This is my go-to place for Indian food. We were not charged a "take-out fee" like another reviewer mentioned. We weren't even charged for the yogurt to sooth the tongue. Everyone there acted like family.
The first time I had Indian food. The staff was excellent, the food was even better, and half of the buffet was vegetarian (that may be normal, but it is still pleasing to a vegetarian). On my next trip I ordered from the menu and it was even better. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the market for... Food.
The service was incredible! The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the guy serving us was very kind. We were just traveling through charleston, but we felt very welcomed by the city as a whole after our visit here. Oh, and the food was amazing too.
Great Indian food. The waiter was super nice and very hard-working. Even though he was the only one serving, the service was not slow. The tea and gulab jamun were really good too.
New management has really helped this restaurant. Once my favorite Indian restaurant in Charleston, it went downhill a few years ago.
Ive eaten there 3 or 4 times in the last few months and it has always been excellent.
A family favorite for authentic Indian food. Don't forget a mango lassi and vegetable samosas.
Classic Charleston Indian. Always been a huge fan. Never had anything bad, but honestly now a days I just love the Saag and Tikka Masala. They'll spice it up as much as you want. And the staff is very friendly
As an Indian I’d say it’s the best place for Indian food in Charleston. If you’re confused about the order ask the people working for advice. They’re very jovial and helpful. They’ll make sure you get what you’re looking for.
They’re samosas are a must try!
The best! The food and staff are amazing! Everyone is so friendly and personable. I’ve been to all the Indian restaurants in Charleston and none even compare! Sitar is the best! My favorite place!
Nice place to get Indian buffet. The manager and staff were genuinely good people. Recommend it, if you are in Charleston and looking for good Indian food. Good vegetarian options.
The food was delicious. The samosas were perfect! My wife had the Chana Masala and loved it. I had the chicken curry and it was great. The service was great also. We will be going back soon.
Ok. This place is the bomb if you like Indian food. If you don't, go here and you might change your mind. Their buffet is next level. When I eat their Chicken Tikka Masala, I bleed out of my butt the next day, and I STILL go here & eat it. If that ain't a recommendation, I don't know what is. 5 stars baby.
I have loved this place for years!!! A pleasure every visit!!! Very friendly and helpful, clean and comfy :) lunch time is the best time to visit if you've never tried Indian/ they have plenty of dishes to choose from...my kids were little when we first started eating here....now my grown daughter calls me and plans our lunch dates at our same table :) ah the memories ...💚
Charleston's hit spot for Indian Food downtown. Authentic spice and flavors make every dish unique. I recommend the vegetable korma.
Absolutely delicious! The staff is always extremely friendly and the food is amazing. We usually get the chicken tikki masala and poori bread, but it seems like you can’t go wrong with any dish!
Food is wonderful and full of flavor. Asked for light spices and they did that so it was perfect. The staff there are friendly, welcoming, helpful and courteous. Great place to eat and relax.
My friend and I enjoyed our meal
Best Indian food in Charleston, Highly recommend atleast trying once.
State's best 👌 Restaurant
This restaurant is amazing! It’s family owned, and one of the owners spent so much time talking to us and explaining the menu, recommending items and even letting us try an appetizer! The chicken tiki masala was the best we’ve ever had! I recommend the coconut naan (or bread) to dip in the chicken tiki masala. Food, service, staff and restaurant was amazing! Highly recommend
The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful and filling in the best way. The server was attentive and helpful, and the restaurant itself was cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of good food and a friendly environment.
As a food tip, I would recomment the naan; it’s some of the best naan I’ve had!
Excellent food, excellent service!
Perfect place to eat! Everyone was very friendly and food was delicious. My suggestion is getting a side of the bread with coconut in it, Yum! Will definitely be back when i am in the area again.
Lunch buffet is good. I would have liked more options but I guess they never know how much to make in a weekday.
Superb food and service. Excellent buffet. Special events on holidays! I have been a patron of this establishment since 1992. I come twice a week or more. My favorite restaurant! A true family experience!
The best Indian food you can get in Charleston right now.
Little India used to be the best but dropped significantly after changing hands. Nawab just opened and they have better palak paneer than Sitar, but for everything else I've tried Sitar is better (and more flavorful/spiced).
Edit: update, they gave me milk for my eye today when I accidentally touched it after a spicy pepper. This place is still the best in the area.
My wife and I LOVE Indian food. It's a bit of an obsession. Whenever we are on vacation or out of town for business, we seek out the best rated Indian restaurant in the area, sometimes twice. We've been to dozens of restaurants from San Francisco, CA to Salzburg, Austria. Sitar of India in Charleston, WV is by far the best we have experienced. It's really all about the Chicken Tikka Masala (absolute best outside of India) but everything is delicious. My personal favorite is the Lamb Rogan Josh. Let's not kid ourselves, you don't come here for the service or smiling face. If you're into that, go to Fridays or Applebees. You come to Sitar for the brilliant food. Tip: Take home leftovers because somehow its even better the next day!
My second visit in about 10 years while I was in town on business. It was as good as I remembered. Excellent Indian food, friendly service, and nice atmosphere. Check out the Sitar of India if you are in the area.
Great food great service. I love lamb tikka masala and though it wasn't on the menu they whipped it right up! Very cool people.
A rare evening buffet at Sitar was a real treat. The goat curry was a stand out dish. The always reliable saag paneer and tandoori chicken were great and many delicious veggie dishes. A great value and tremendous selection.
Whenever I get too homesick, I come here for some dal or biryani. Staff is always super friendly and kind. Food is great and not overpriced like most "Indian" restaurants.
Absolutely excellent food! The waiter asked me for my spice level and the flavor/heat did not let me down. Service was excellent.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the place! Super clean, AMAZING authentic food, including the tea on the bar & fresh made Naan bread brought out to the table. What's not to LOVE?!?
Excellent food, and even more excellent people. We came on a slow night and had the nicest and most attentive waiter ever. Convenient location and comfortable seats.
I got this through doordash and since they brought the wrong order, Sitar of India delivered the food on their own as soon as I called them. They're amazing and so is their food. I try something new every time and love it.
Great Indian restaurant. The food were good and specially service was amazing.
Excellent meal on a Sunday night . Friendly owners and the food (lamb Rohan Josh and chicken tikka ) was beyond tasty. The new indian beers were a great touch to the the meal. Can’t recommend enough.
This afternoon was my second time at Sitar of India. Both times I had their lunch buffet and it was absolutely delicious. It is reasonably priced for the quality of food. The staff is pleasant and efficient.
One of my all time favorite Indian joints. Super friendly staff, fast service and most importantly great food.
Great lunch buffet! Had good veggie options also. I will be back the next time I visit the area.
Best Indian food in the Charleston area in my opinion. Owners are extremely friendly, reasonably priced, relaxed environment, and an all around great place for lunch and dinner.
Amazing experience ! We travelled 60 miles to find a good Indian restaurant in West Virginia. This place was a pleasant surprise ! What an amazing hospitality and homely feel .Food was amazing.
Words can’t describe how excellent this was. Even doing takeout, the ensured hospitality was displayed. Not to mention the food was packaged and prepared flawlessly.
I can’t believe it took me this long to discover this place.
Great atmosphere!!!! Very good food, amazing and super friendly staff!
Excellent food and a very friendly staff. I've been there for the lunch buffet and for dinner and I have never been disappointed. Do yourself a favor and visit soon.
Very good. Last couple times Saag was “grainy”. Not sure if it had too much spinach stalk. Couldn’t eat it. Hate that because I like sitar better than little India.
Place away from Home. Have been frequenting Sitar since long. Love the food and Service. Frequent this restaurant often. Have the choicest of Indian food and curries, backed by excellent service. Keep it up!
Serving very delicious food
Lamb vindaloo is my standard order in all Indian restaurants and tonight I had the wteriest light brown gravy ever. Skimpy portion of lamb. Huge potatoe Scant onion. No chilies no bell pepper Paid the most I have ever paid for my favorite dish. Naan was like a pancake. Flour used was unrecognizable Appeared fried like Not oven baked. Tamarind also watery. Cut a lot of corners for top price
Excellent food. Great service. I bought a take away for my wife 5hr drive away after tasting their cooking! I was a star!
Excellent services and the paner do piaza was awesome. Spicy and flavorful food
Best Chicken Tikka Masala
Delicious malai kafta and garlic naan meal!!! Walked in 15 minutes till close and they treated me like family. Would happily eat here again, a menu that large deserves exploration, well worth it.
Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Excellent service as well with cautions during the pandemic such as gloves for the buffet.
First time ordering from here. Outstanding food! I'm just passing through the area but would definitely come back if in the area again.
Great food but service was exceptional. We came after closing time and they still opened the restaurant for us. I would highly recommended this.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Charleston. The staff is really friendly and the food is fantastic. Always a great stop for lunch
Amazing Indian food. Family owned business and very friendly people. They make you feel at home. Got to eat North Indian food after a long time...
Sitar always provides excellent food and service! Much preferred over other local Indian restaurants. Try the lamb saag, coconut soup, and kheer, you won't be disappointed!!!
Love the food, atmosphere & workers! Great food, great prices & everyone is so friendly and helpful if you're new to the food and not sure what to order!
Delicious food. Very friendly staff. Will come back next visit to Charleston.
Excellent service always accommodating
Food is very delicious and fresh and the staff is also very friendly.
Perfect place to eat here
I'm loving it
Excellent food. The decor could use a little updating, but this was a nice find in Charleston. Note the prices are on the higher end.
Excellent food, excellent service, and the lunch buffet is a great deal! If I lived in Charleston I'd be a regular!!
The lunch buffet never lets you down and everything tastes amazing! Service is always on point and the staff are very polite.
This is my favorite restaurant in West Virginia and maybe the world. The vegetarian options are always great and abundant and the people treat you like family.
Quality of food and service has improved since our last visit. 11 to 11:30 is a great time to try your buffet places .. when things are fresh.
Most authentic Indian Food I have had in the USi! Very friendly staff!
Best Indian buffet in Charleston for lunch. Many options frequently changes...deep fried cauliflower and aloo tikki are my favorites.
Very good food. This was very surprised for us, Indian restaurant in middle of Downtown.
Food was so good and they were kind enough to walk me through their vegan options or options they could make vegan! Will be here again soon!!!
Amazing food and service, but don't come here if you're counting change for your meal!!!
This place is great! That's all I can say. The buffet is small but the quality is incredible.
The food was fantastic and the staff were very helpful.
Wonderful friendly staff, excellent lunch buffet!
I love Sitar. Good selection of entrees on the lunch buffet. Mango and tea drinks. The best Aloo Tikki.
The food was excellent. I really liked the Lamb Korma with rice. Staff was very courteous and polite.
Awesome food and service what a great hospitality. Thank you
Buffet was tasty and reasonably priced.
I had never eaten India food but I tried Sitar of India and they are awesome. Great atmosphere, food and service. Will go back again.
Good Food. Lamb Rogan Josh was pretty good. Also the Masala tea was great! Try the Peshawari Naan, it was very tasty
Everything was wonderful. The flavors were intricate and delicious. All very well made with great ingredients. Very friendly staff as well
Great! Chicken tikki masala is the best around
Mango lassi is tops. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Quality and variety of food items was good. Enjoy the level of heat of the chicken chili as well as the curry dishes.
