Food was great! Kiddo had the tenders basket, wife had a substituted grilled steak salad ( supply chain issues meant she had to get chicken instead of steak), MIL had the chopped Southwest chicken salad, and I had the good old fish and chips. Even with substitutions. Everything was great.

Stopped by for a mother-son date night while visiting from out of town. We enjoyed seeing all of the sports memorabilia and watching the games on the various TV's (go Duke!). We had the fried pickles and buffalo wontons. The buffalo wontons we're delicious and filled with a creamy buffalo chicken center. We also each had a burger (one custom and the other crunchy). They had a great char flavor. The restaurant was a little short staffed tonight, but they were super friendly despite the crowd. We would visit here again.

This was by far THE BEST piece of fish I've had around here! Our server was great! The kitchen mixed up our apps and sent them after our meal. They were kind enough to let us cancel one and we wanted to eat the other. Again, this fish was fantastic! Dense white fish, cooked to perfection!!

The experience started off great. I got there for an nba game. Maddie was my server/bartender and did a great job, very pleasant. At this point I was going to give a five star review. Unfortunately a band came in making tons of disturbing noises and played some sort of honky tonk music. It would have been better to have no music, in the proper genre or a better rehearsed artist for their performance.

It was okay. It's attached to a hotel, so the prices are higher than most places around there.. seems as though you need to be a frequent visitor or regular to get decent service, but in this day and age, i guys it's about the norm.. there are better places within walking distance to go, but if it's a last resort deal, then you won't be overwhelmed.

Best service, best atmosphere, and Amazing wings... The buffalo won tons were a hit too, as well as the pretzel sticks. Did I mention ice cold draft beer! We will be back! Cannot believe we've never been here!

The food tasted great & fresh. The restaurant was set up well to accommodate covid restrictions & seemed clean. It took a while for someone to seat us & service was slow. The manager wasn't very helpful to the staff or attentive to anything going on which would have made my review a 5 star.

The vegan Gardein wings were good, but nothing I couldn’t have microwaved at home. Only two of the sauce options are vegan (Mild and BBQ). The salad had to be modified, so we ended up with apple shreds and not much else. I’d recommend adding some more plant-based toppings like avocado, beans, tofu, or just more veggies if someone cannot have meat or cheese. Service was excellent and open to modifications!

I have always enjoyed visiting this sports bar when I can while in town. Lately, they have been extremely low on wait staff and long waits for food. The server was so good about making sure we were okay with the wait and continuously checking on us. Give this place a try.

Food was fantastic, very filling and came at a decent price too. Fun sports bar atmosphere inside, liked the green carpeted floors that reminded me of putt-putt/mini-golf. Large space inside, perfect for groups or other large parties, staff was pretty quick and attentive to our needs. Happy we chose to eat here while in Charleston!

I love the Buffalo Chicken Wontons! The chicken tenders are a favorite dish for my wife who reports she has never had a bad meal here. Chicken is moist and the portion is large. 2 or 3 kids could easily share this plate.

Nice sports decor that was for many teams. The buffalo Mac n cheese was super good and larger than expected, was not able to finish it all. Beer that was special was $2 for a pint which is a fantastic deal on a Saturday evening. It's a good place to bring kids and family for sure.

Lots of televisions. Good beer selection. Decent but pricey bar food. Update: had a burger while I watched the USMMT beat Iran. It was incredible. Best burger I'd had in WV in several years. And my server was top notch too. I'll be back more often.

The food was tasty and timely. The wings we tried were the honey sriracha (my favorite), and bourbon glaze (also very good). We split a crispy burger which was delicious, and the fries were fresh, and seasoned to perfection. The service was great. The bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciate that. Our bill was on point, and we have decided to join the rewards club because we will definitely be returning.

This was my first time at this restaurant. Being a sports fanatic, I enjoyed being able to watch numerous sports at one time. I had the chili to start off and it had a certain smokiness to it. It was just missing some heat. My date started off with the mozzarella bites. She said they were delicious. She ended up getting the chicken quesadilla. It must have been really good because she didn't share. I had the fish and chips. I was not expecting the portion to be so big. I ended up taking half of it home. I liked how the fish had a certain home style crust yet was moist and flaky inside. I enjoyed the overall flavor of this restaurant and I will definitely be back. This might be my hangout spot during football season!!!

First and foremost our server was outstanding and the food was amazing! I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston. What brings me to Google to share a review (as this is something I rarely do ) was what the staff and management did for me after I realized I left my sunglasses at the restaurant. We were halfway through an 8 hour trip home and had just paid my first toll when I realized I had forgotten my sunglasses at the table. My wife called the restaurant to see if they had found them and indeed they had. They offered to mail them to my home. TBH, I never thought I was going to see them again but to my surprise I received them via FedEx, nicely wrapped in bubble wrap, within 2 business and without a scratch! I promise to sing your praises to everyone I talk to in regards to the best service that I’ve ever received and also your amazing food. Thanks again. You have a customer for life

The server was great. Now, with that out of the way…. The beer tasted as though the lines hadn’t been cleaned in six months :( The mac and cheese ( both adult and kid ) was dryer than the Queen of England’s hoo hoo. As for the taste, it would’ve probably had more taste if I had Covid. Super disappointing.

Today, several of my co-workers and I had lunch here. It was my first time eating at Recovery. The server was excellent. There were 14 of us....big table! Super disappointed. The last three times we've come for dinner the food has been great but the service has been soooo slow! We got here at 5:40, there were 4 tables outside and only 3 inside seated so we were sat immediately. It took almost 15 minutes before receiving our drinks while two tables who were sat after us got theirs before us - same with food, multiple tables received their dinners first even though we had ordered before them. We only ordered wings and 2 grilled cheese so it shouldnt have taken so long! It's now 7:15 and we are finally leaving, the only reason the waitress came back to our table is because she saw us gathering our stuff up.

Good food for a sports bar. They usually have more options on their menu than the usual sports bars. The atmosphere is nice. Service isn’t always great, but decent enough, most of the time. The place also has an outside area, which is very nice and it is located in a very convenient part of the city, downtown. It’s also close to a nice hotel on the boulevard. Great for watching games with the family or friends while having a good snack or some beer.

Oh, my word! This chick is ALL in this dude's lap. Oh, the food. The food was great! Service was top notch. It did start slow, but it's busy. She more than made up for it. She was on top of our refills and quickly met all our needs. Super friendly. Diverse crowd. The brioche bun made my sandwich seem dry, but the burger was actually juicy and flavorful. We'll be back.

Good place to go for some good food and sports entertainment. Everywhere I looked there was a television to watch with a different sport on it and the food was really tasty with quick service. It was really busy that night but that didn't slow.down our waitress. We had a table of 8 people and a probably were there for about 90 minutes and barely had to wait for anything. Would recommend to anyone looking for good food.

Love this sports bar. They have the most and biggest TVs of any sports bar I know of in the Charleston area. The food is always good and the wait staff always friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of WV craft beers. Any seat in the house is a great spot for watching the game. Highly recommended.

Great, fresh, high quality bar food. Friendly staff and nice cold beer. I had a side salad that was tasty and spruced up just right. I ordered the Chicken tenders, which had a great breading and crunch, the Chicken tenders were absolutely huge but very tasty. I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. It looks alot like. BWW sports bar but the food is much better than that other wing place. My hotel recommended this place and I am happy I went. They are on the backside of the Four Points by Sheraton hotel. Plenty of street parking nearby.

Service was nice, but it was 4:00 in the afternoon and not a crowd, and waitress decided to round up our total to the nearest dollar after taking our cash and only give us our change back in singles. lost major tipping points on that one. Also wish that google maps had led us to the actual front of the bar. Had to drive around to back of entire hotel to see it and then find parking.

This is my favorite place to go for bar food. It has a variety of items on the menu but I really like the wings, tenders, and fries. I have had a few salads here but they aren't anything to write home about. It has a good atmosphere and plenty of different beers on tap. If you enjoy buffalo sauce and blue cheese be sure to try the "Haystack Fries."

I visit here at least once a week. It’s our favorite place to meet up with friends. While many restaurants in the area are no longer worth going too. Recovery Sports Grill is even better than before. Huge sport bar attached to the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. Lots of fun, lots of TVs! Katie was our bartender, thank you Katie, and very proficient in her service. The food was pretty good but I think the menu could use some deletions and additions. Not much which I wanted to order, mostly due to the use of flavors and offerings; I'm not at all into quinoa especially when I choose to eat at a sports bar. The drink offerings were great with just about any beer you crave. The restaurant was clean along with the bathroom, a plus in all respects.

Staff was friendly, food was good, prices are what you expect from a sit down sports bar. I especially like the fact they have speakers on the table you can "tune" to the different TV's, however they could need a little refresh. We had to grab another one as the battery on our first unit was dead and even then it took a second for the unit to find the right channel and it was cracking like an old paper cone speaker in a 60's family sedan.

My first experience with this place began on Monday after Veterans' Day (That Armistice Day for those of us who still remember this as the 100th Anniversary). They invited me as many other veterans to a free dinner. I tried the fish & chips. Not just outstandingly prepared, but a very tasty generous portion served on a bed of fries with a side of chilled iced tea. It's plenty of good reason to return to a place I most likely would not have otherwise known about. Thanks folks. I'll be back.

He was very knowledgeable about the city which was helpful. He recommended amazing food for us to try. Being a server for years myself, I love having conversation and good service. This place seem to be the place for that. I would definitely recommend Recovery sports grill to anyone else in Charleston WV.

We get our order to go. I love the boneless wings. On one occasion the blue cheese dressing spilled all,over the bag.The next time we ordered, we asked if dressing could be placed in a plastic container to avoid spill age. This was not done. Might have to bring something from home to transport safetly.

It is a fun place to watch sports or whatever + the food is pretty good. There is a bar and a big assortment of beers. They will validate parking, and it's a great place to meet up with friends. It can get a little expensive, but the location is great and it is connected to the hotel

Good sports B&G...we were in from St. Louis, looked for something close to the hotel and Google preview showing the Buffalo Mac n Cheese sold this place for the wife...we got there early and yes there was a wait and yes it did take a little extra time to get drinks and food but I wonder if the a-holes giving 2 star reviews noticed that there were only two waitresses hustling the whole joint...regardless server 0392 was fantastic and my wife thought she looked like Mila Kunis...AWESOME!!!

Great sports bar with a HUGE set of TVs, so any game you want will probably be on. Add to that, the personal speakers at each table allow you to select the audio for the game you want. For food and drink, there's a great selection of craft beer on tap (Devil Anse IPA FTW!) and tasty bar food. Seriously, if you don't have a great man cave at home, this is a great option.

Staff was very nice. I didnt know they validated parking until I had already parked somewhere else. So if you go, you can park for free in the lot that they are under. Lots of televisions and the food was ok. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either. Over all a decent place to eat.

It's like the bastard child of BWWs and Applebee's. TV screens everywhere. Food selection kind of like Applebee's but with a few variations and a limited menu. Aside from the small menu, it's an alright place. It has good service with friendly staff and decent food. Its pretty spacious, as well. The prices are about average.

I've been eating here for four years as I literally work right across the street. It's a convenient place to eat lunch. I would give them 5 stars but they just changed their menu and the new options are not that good. They still have other good options. But they took off things like their buffalo chicken alfredo and the chicken broccoli alfredo They replaced it with things like the Killer Crab Mac n Cheese. I love crab and I love mac n cheese. But this is nasty. I'm all for change, but a lot of the new food choices are not that great.

Took several minutes before we were asked about a drink order (10 minutes+), but after that initial.... annoyance, everything else was really great. We only had finger foods and iced teas because it was early and we were going to be out late, but Jennifer kept our glasses full and was a blast to converse with (place was pretty empty). Probably won't get a chance to dine there again, but if I do, I'll be back!!!
