Wonderful dining experience. We tried a roasted romaine salad, shrimp and grits, and chicken marsala. Everything was excellent. The waiter, Jerry, was great. We also liked the quiet atmosphere, so many restaurants are open and noisy. It was our first time eating here and we will return.

Another great meal from Noah's. Love the food, drinks and bar area. Hutch is a fantastic bartender!

Food was great. This was the first time we'd been. We weren't sure what to expect. Dining area is small. Definitely a special occasion place with limited menu items. Great if you eat anything. Not great if you have dietary restrictions or are vegetarian. I was pregnant at the time and the mocktail they made was amazing.

Noah’s Restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Charleston. Until being invited for a work event, I didn’t even realize we had such a fine dining restaurant in the area, and was very impressed! Both the service and food is exceptional, and for the quality you get, it is still very reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a new date night spot, this is it!

The entrées were simply exquisite.

My father lives in Charleston and Noah's is his favorite restaurant! Every time I come to visit, we eat out around town. Noah's is the city's best meal every time, consistently. Love it!

Food was absolutely delicious... atmosphere was a bit strange as it was kind of quite and when you first walk in you don't know what to do as there was no one to greet us so we waited at the front till someone came and asked how they could help. We could see that they were not busy at all, only about 4 tables were seated, but the man that greeted us said that he still needed to check and see if we could be seated. He left us at the front and came back and said he would be able to seat us. Service was great for the rest of the time we were there. I will return for the delicious food that was served!

By far the best place in the entire city, and probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. You can tell there’s someone in the kitchen that cares. Everything was cooked to perfection with unique flavor and texture profiles I’ve never experienced before. I can’t believe it took me this long to dine here. We will be back!

Superb dining experience. Relaxed atmosphere but private and comfortable ambiance.
Food is top notch, period. Menu has good variety.
Staff is attentive and provides anything the customer requests.
Extensive wine list, anyone who enjoys it (I don't particularly) should be able to find something to suit their palette.
Very much worth a try for date night or just as a nice evening out occasionally.

We had a dinner with neighbors. We were seated on time, had good wait service, very good appetizers and wonderful main entrees. What more can you ask? 5*s

Coming from Charleston SC and Savannah Ga, where I have lived for many years and eaten my way thru both cities, I never expected to find a place in my old hometown like Nolas. Amazing dinner here last night, highly recommend, superior food and excellent presentation!

Nice, if limited menu. Prices had a wide variance so it was easy to get something with good value. Service was a bit weird but ok. We came a bit early for the reservation but there was no one ready to receive guests at the front of the restaurant at all. The food was good and portions fair for fine dining. Currently there are NO vegetarian entree options on the menu, only something with shrimp. The grilled salads are pretty interesting though.

... Really 10 stars! I have read food critic's reviews of how a dish or meal was so outstanding that you had a "dining experience". I have dined at some of the best restaurants across the country and although the food was wonderful I never had the "experience" until I dined at Noah's. The striped sea bass was a dish I will never forget. Thank you. I'll be back!!!

Always a tasteful and well executed meal. On our last visit we had the Valentine Tasting Menu, and it was exquisite. I love that the menu is rotated here and changed based on availability and freshness of ingredients. Will definitely be making reservations again in the near future.

This is the place to take a client or a date in Charleston ...if your wanting a lucky night. It is without doubt the best eatery in Charleston. The portions are perfect and the care given in the preparation of every dish I've experienced at Noah's will leave you salivating the next course. And don't pass up dessert!
Bat Guano
Outstanding food and good service at a small, friendly, chef-owned downtown restaurant. Who would have thought such great food, at a reasonable price or any price, could be found in Charleston, WV. Our appetizers, entrees and dessert were perfectly prepared. Noah personally serves the entrees and welcomes his guests.
We would have stopped in again a few days later except for the fact that the restaurant is closed on Sunday or Monday. Successfully running a restaurant of this caliber takes a lot effort, intelligence and skill. A couple of days a week out of the kitchen are well earned and completely understandable. Still we would have enjoyed another meal at Noah's in the course of our spring road trip to scenic and historic West Virginia and Kentucky. Highly recommended.

I love this place. Most of the time, when a restaurant moves its loses its personality. Not here. Noah had taken great pains to make sure that things are still as wonderful just with a little more possibilities. Kevin is amazing as a bartender and Cherly makes sure the front of the house is always on point.

I agree with Bat Guano. Who would have thought there's a little restaurant in downtown Charleston, WV with this caliber! The chef/proprietor himself served us our dessert.
Would love to go back there every week to savor the menu that changes weekly as well.
Definitely will recommend this.

Noah is by far the most creative Chef in the Charleston area. His menu changes weekly. My husband had the veal and said it was incredible. The squash soup was filling and a true comfort food! Why eat any where else in Charleston?

Quality.Tasty. Indulgent. If you're looking for a ton of food regardless of taste, then this is not the place. But if you're looking for decadence in every morsel; attention to detail in service, presentation, and flavor, then Noah's is the place. Loved it!

This was our first visit to the relocated Noah's and it did not disappoint. Great wine selection, beautifully presented and amazingly tasty apps and main course. We are looking forward to returning and spending time in the lounge.

My son and I have gone to Noah's every year since they opened for his birthday (because the chef has been amazing in the past), however, I amending my 5 star rating. Please bear in mind,, I go ALL OUT for my son's birthday.....he is an only child that was quite the miracle baby, so I don't mind a high price. I made reservations on Noah's website, making a special note that it was my son's 25th Birthday. Tonight, we may as well have went to Applebee's. First, there were more "starters" than entrees. (There were THREE entree choices....a beef, poultry, and a fish) I must admit, my starter choice, Salad Lyonaise was very good, though it was approximately 3 bites. His Butternut Squash Ravioli was delicious....but again, 2 ravioli for $12.00. More of an "amuse bouche". Entrees? Different story. My son ordered Grilled Beef tenderloin skewer. You would think for an upperscale restaurant, one might ask...how would you like that cooked. Nope. Apparently, well done is the preparation of the day. Gray all the way. However, the pomme frites (aka French fries were delicious) and cucumber/tomato salad were great. And because the meat was so overdone, a little extra chimmi churri may have been in order. I chose the Bone in Chicken Breast. Again, the Chef's attention was elsewhere because it was dry as a bone. I tried my best to soak the meat with the accompanying mushroom demi glace, but alas, not enough of that either. The pomme puree and roasted vegetable were delicious. One shining point (ALMOST......) was dessert. As you may recall, I had alerted the restaurant it was my son's birthday. In fact, the somewhat grumpy waiter "Gene" hesitantly told my son "Happy Birthday". So, when we ordered dessert, Bread Pudding for him and Coffee Cardamom Pot de Creme for me, I expected, perhaps, a candle. Nope. Now, the desserts were delicious, however, not 3-5 minutes after we got our desserts a table approximately 5 feet from us had a young lady get a dessert with a lit candle....🤔🤔🤔.
I feel the Head Chef, Noah Miller, has lost control of his restaurant. He was exponentially better when he had 7-10 tables behind a parking garage. You have lost quality to quantity. You will not last long in the restaurant if you do not get a handle on whomever is cooking for you, because tonight was CLEARLY not your work.

Stopped in Charleston on a trip and found Noah's. Menu was short, but food was outstanding. I'm guessing everything on the menu is great. Would definitely go again.

The food was absolutely AMAZING. The drinks were poured so beautifully and the staff were very nice and attentive. My filet was so tender I could cut it with my fork. Love the location and atmosphere.
Alexander Ryan Epperly
By far my favorite restaurant in Charleston. Chef Noah is creative with entrees and rotating menu. Nothing beats his puréed parsnips. Keep up the good work.
Steve Ayers
Amazing, amazing food. Best martinis EVER from bartender Kevin, who was awesome and very nice! Do not miss this place! We've traveled the world, and Noah's is up there at the top!!

the kanawha valley in charleston, which is as low as 565 feet in some places, is known for their scenic scenery, but not their innovative cuisene. This restaurant is a welcome exception. the price is accurate, the service is the opposite of appaling , and the food is quite sophicated indeed. my 77 year old grandmother would probably agree it's a welcome change of pace from the gino's pizza's off of expressways I-79, which also passes through Morgantown, though there are no gino's located in that town on the banks of the same river that flows through pittsburgh, I-77 which trespasses the kanawha valley south of charleston, and then rises to 2,400 feet in Beckley and a even higher 3,264 feet near Ghent or in the opposite northerly direction goes to Parkersburg before crossing the Ohio River into Marietta OH, or I-64 which in the westward direction heads towards Huntington which is at 564 feet above level on average, or eastward it crosses the New river, which also flows in Virginia and even North Carolina, before heading into Lewisburg, crossing the Greenbrier river which is where the towns of Roncervate, Marlinton and Cass are located on and then ascends to the Virginia state line. west virginia is a beautiful state, and the Kanawha valley is no exception. i'm glad that Charleston which enjoys a moderate elevation of 601 ft stepped up their restaurant game, even it's not yet as good as the city that has the Tidal Basin, the city that has the East River, or the city that has Lake Pontchartrain. Once again a job well done!

Beautiful setting. Great service. Superior food.

Food was really good and the waiter was nice. We had to wait about five minutes at the door before the bartender came around and took us to our table.
VALERIE BREWER
Great service, AMAZING food-even though the menu is limited. Can’t remember when I’ve had a better meal. Will definitely be back.
Randy Weaver
Did not care for any of the only four entree choices they had. Decided to go elsewhere after our cocktail.
Rick Lee
Perhaps the best restaurant in town.
Tommie Butcher
Food and service was on point. Bottles of wine are very reasonable. Stick to basic drinks from the bar.
Edward Eckman
Chef Noah gives you nuances of flavor and texture waaaaay beyond the average chef....he uses fresh seasonal ingredients...awesome meal!
Kevin Gillenwater
$60-$80 a person is a bit much as far as I am concerned. Great food. Eat before you go unless price is no concern.
Elizabeth Gruben
Excellent service and food. Shrimp and peaches was so good I had it again a second night.
