Does not honor coupons as other have mentioned. Getting past that the food is pretty good. The atmosphere is beach house and sort of kitschy but in a good way. The coupon thing is troubling though because they know this up front as others have mentioned prior to this but they don't post anything about it on the door so they wait until you pay. Have eaten here before but likely won't be coming back. When something isn't right I won't support it.

Found another HIDDEN GEM restaurant located on McCorkle Ave between South Charleston and St Albans. Yes, this local seafood restaurant and fresh fish market has been around for thirty years and is one of the ones we seek out when going to a new city.....you know.....that hidden local gem?! Located on the Kanawha River, along side, and almost behind the next door bowling alley. It has old style decor with a nautical theme indoors, plus outdoor patio dining, or sit at a picnic bench on top of the river bank. But, go here for the food! Oh my gosh! Soooo good! I had the "Pick Two" dinner with fresh, soft coconut shrimp, broiled Sea Scallops, hush puppies, and the best fries you'll ever have, plus cole slaw. She had the haddock fish and chips, with fries, hush puppies, and cole slaw. You can wash it down with a beer, glass of wine, or a mixed drink. Had a Guinness and also a "Red Snapper" cocktail. I never had one before (Crown Royal and cranberry juice in a mug.... OMG!). She had wine. Tabby was our server and she made recommendations and was attentive. We can't wait to go back. I'm going to try the clam strips and the king crab legs. For those in your party that don't like fish, there are steaks on the menu, too. Prices excellent for everything. I know the place looks like a hole-in-the-wall, and the inside probably original. If you are local or just passing through, you MUST try this "hidden gem". Please call for hours as they do close early evening.

Great food & our server (Tabitha) was fantastic! Fried oysters were awesome. Kudos to the cook for the excellent preparation of our entrées!

Food was good, but slow in coming. They offer great fried clams strips, so I will be going back! (Everything was good, actually)

Food was great. Our server was the greatest, the staff very friendly.. Great dining experience. It's good to go to a place that the radio is not blairing and have a conversation with the people your dining with. Prices very reasonable. Remember folks treat your server as you want treated and be courteous and you will have a great eating experience.. Praise Jesus for all has come short of the glory of God. Praying for a safe 2022.

Looking at Entertainment app and decided to stop for big fish sandwich. They do not honor the coupons. Got catfish (bites) instead and wife had big fish sandwich (3 pcs on croissant) Fries are good. Catfish was fine. Tarter sauce not the best . Big fish sandwich was good. I really hate when places put a deal out there and then don't honor it. I can eat seafood at lots of places and feel like it is a better value and better quality.

Loved this place. The food was great and Tabbi the waitress was awesome. The atmosphere was rustic and you can eat outside by the river. Will definitely go back.

The food here was great! Our waitress/server was very nice and talkative, tho it seemed they needed a bit more help. There is lighted outside seating with river views that looked very appealing. We enjoyed the unique atmosphere inside this visit and met some new friends. Thank you so much for a nice dinner date.

Great food !!!!!! Our waitress was amazing. I have been here a couple of times. The sweet tea is awesome. If you order the all you can eat shrimp and fish bring your appetite because you wont go away hungry.

Second time eating here, had the catfish sandwich meal. Great food, fast service, everything was fresh cooked. Will definitely be going back.
