One of the best breakfast places I've ever been to! Super unique selection of food and everything was amazingly flavorful I was at a loss of words at how good everything tasted. Our bartender / waitress also gave us very good service and was nice to talk to. The atmosphere is fun too, probably good for kids to enjoy. The only issue was it was almost impossible to get in Saturday morning on President's day weekend, and literally impossible to get in on President's day itself. Not sure if it's always like this, just our experience.

We got the Some Like it Tot, which are giant tots filled with Vermont cheddar and topped with a maple and sriracha sauce, caramelized onions, and sour cream and chives. The app was served with our meals. My friend got the Monster Breakfast with pancakes and I got the Hash Quiche with fruit. We both opted for water as our drinks. Everything was delicious but the fruit was definitely on its way out. I didn’t send it back because my friend picked at it. The server was very sweet and attentive. Ten hours later we were still full. It would be nice to come back and experience Burlington in the summer. The ding on the fifth star is because they wouldn’t seat us without our whole party. Normally this isn’t a big deal as it’s standard practice, but the town was extremely quiet being just two days after Christmas and there was seating available.

Friendly Toast provides FRIENDLY SERVICE! No wait, just walk right in. Cool ambiance. Great menu with lots of options. We ate there two days in a row while visiting Burlington and ordered the Monster Breakfast both times -- super filling and satisfying! You won't be disappointed.

Do you love Breakfast?! I sure do and I’m extremely picky with it. I come to Vermont on Vacation and here’s my experience; Im seated, and not only was I offered coffee, they asked if I wanted Bailey’s in it. On Thanksgiving week? Absolutely. #thankful I came in with a Local who recommended the Breakfast Egg Rolls and Doughnut Stop Believin’; both exceptional choices. The eggs rolls are served with a hot honey sauce and the explosion of flavors are incredible. The doughnut stop believin was also 💣 AF and the chipotle-maple sour cream and strawberry habanero jam pairs so well with this dish 👌. More flavor explosion 🍓🌶 The service and dishes were so good, we decide to come again the next day. This time we get the Churro Bites and the Hash Quiche 🖤. Churro Bites are tossed with cinnamon and sugar, and topped with cheesecake glaze and chocolate drizzle. Hash Quiche are fried hash browns stuffed with breakfast God blessings ensured to satisfy you with every bite. Overall? My experience is 10/10 and if you are a picky breakfast eater, I highly recommend you swing by and be amazed.

The service indeed was very FRIENDLY! The staff were attentive to the customers. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash Benny and I did like it. The Hollandaise sauce was a bit too tangy than what I usually get. Their English muffins are thick, and they do mention that in their menu. However, I found that the combination of the potatoes in the corned beef, plus the side potatoes, and thick English muffin was a bit too much. I would order something else the next time I go here. My husband had the pancakes and those were delicious. We would definitely go back next time we’re in the area.

One of the best brunch I've ever had...flight mimosas and a menu so Yummy it was so hard to decide! Had the Eggs benny with a side of maple bacon. Hubby had the doughnut glorious sandwich....out of this world!

When we visited Burlington, we had breakfast at The Friendly Toast and loved it! Such a funky place with a really cool menu. I had the king cakes, which were delicious but super heavy from all the peanut butter. The whipped cream was sooo good. My boyfriend had the chicken cordon bleu Benny, and we thought it was so cool that the chicken was coated in Rice Krispies. We came early and on a Monday because when we had tried to go on Sunday morning, it was absolutely slammed! Make sure to put your name on the waitlist if you plan on coming during the weekend. Definitely worth a visit, and we’ll be sure to visit their other locations when we’re around them!

Great food, friendly staff. We got vegan omelette with vegan sausage ,vegan cheese, veggie with a side of avocado. My spouse has monster breakfast with mimosas flight. Pay $100. Definitely recommend this place

A great place to eat breakfast! A fun interesting diner to go with anyone with a lot of options to chose from. A great corky setting inside the restaurant that makes the experience fun and interesting. The waiter was super friendly which made the experience that much better 😎 definitely suggest coming here if you're hungry because they have bigggg servings.
