This is solid pizza, a real all-rounder. The crust was chewy but not bland, the cheese made it all the way around the pie, the toppings were plentiful, and the service was excellent. It's not going to win any fine dining awards, but it's not trying to. It's honest, working class New York style. It's above average on all fronts, without winning any individual category. As for the bar...I miss the open mic. But the people who work there are great, the location is prime, and the drinks are reasonably priced. On all fronts, a very good place to spend some time.

Went here on a Friday night and it was pretty packed. All of the tables were filled but we found room at the bar. Great selection of beer and the pizza was really good! Quick service and a cool vibe. Would visit again!

Great pizza and what a selection of great beers. We had margherita pizza and salad with Maine Lunch and Hill Farmstead Edward beers. And the staff was very nice to us and our dog. Hard to beat this place.

Not a huge fan of this place. Got turned away once, seemingly because we were too old (we probably were) but tonight was Dale Boca empanada night so we had to pop in. Had a good quick bite with a special round of drinks. Solid tap list and not as bad earlier in the night for the 40 & + crowd.

Manhattans was my favorite bar for years. The owners are great but things have gone downhill in regards to the atmosphere and patronage. It used to be the least conceited place and that is why I liked it, but something is slowly changing, it's more conceited here now. Maybe it's 2 years of pandemic but most people aren't friendly anymore. People have lost their sense of humor. BTW the bouncer was TERRIBLE, total douche. 2/19/2022

I stopped in while I was visiting Burlington almost 4 years ago. This bar is one the reasons I live here now. No Bull. Great beer list. Friendly and efficient bartenders and the pizza is good too. I heard Hill Farmstead was delivered tonight for the first time since the pandemic began. Cheers.

Nice place, who ever is in charge hear. understands a good value. Not trying to be the best. But dam you will feel like it was money well spent. Can't help but feel like this place is way underrated. I would definitely come back several times... thanks for a good night out.

Straight place right off of Church Street in Burlington. When I walked in it was pretty busy but I was still addressed quickly at the bar. They had a great beer section and was offered samples to find something that I liked. The beer and service were great. I did not have anything to eat, but I saw some people eating some pizza and it looked incredible.

It's a very lowkey place, where obviously most of its clientele are the students at large. The pizza seemed reasonable for both price and taste, but the beer was up to my standards. They also feature live music, which wasn't in the day I went. Good for anytime grubs

Great atmosphere, great bartenders. You get served as soon as you walk in the door. One thing is that this bar does too well to have only two single person restrooms! That restroom line is so long, please invest in multiple stalls. Love Hatties though!

They have really good pizza and other bar food, plus they mix it up with delicious specials. The daft list is long and ever changing. Karaoke night is fun and it's a good place to do some people watching.

Awesome lunch spot, super glad we went just a little off the beaten the path for this one. Many restaurants in the church st marketplace were slammed and had a wait, but we were happy to see we could get right in here. Pizza was phenomenal and they had a wide array of beer and cider available as well. Cool punk rock ethos and artsy vibe, I will be back next time I'm in town.

Great rotating selection of beers, only thing is the labels don't state what kind of beer, whether stout, Porter, or IPA. Chill vibe with very fast bar tenders. Freaking fantastic pizza! You can watch the guys spinning the dough by hand.

Good pizza and nice beer selection. Often has good live music in the evening. There is a pool table in the back. The staff is usually pretty friendly and the restrooms are cleaner than most bars in Burlington.

Good place to grab a beer and a slice of pizza. A bit loud depending on the time. Excellent beer selection, often crowded. Would be higher in stars if it weren't so popular, definitely need to prepare for a crowded atmosphere if you are going after 6pm.

Ok, so its a pizza joint, NY style...BIG slices and well done...Great beer selection....and yes! you can usually buy a Heady in a can...that is pretty awesome when everywhere else is sold out. Live music on the weekends, great late night smash.

Ordered a large extra cheese for pickup tonight. Only took 18 minutes, worth the drive into Burlington. Asked for well done. I think the extra cheese could have used a bit more time in the oven. 4 minutes in a 425 degree oven at home and perfect.

A sad but accurate testament to what the downtown economy is all about right there at the corner of Church and Main: Cheap food and beer catered to broke college kids who wanna get drunk. Food is objectively terrible but fat + grease at low prices will always draw squids in this town. Pizza is in the Mr. Mikes-BigDaddy-Manhattan triumvirate of crappy downtown pizza (you could throw in Kens if you wanted to, but that's an older demographic of hardcore alcoholics supported by clueless tourists)

Great pizza pub at the corner of Church and Main. Fantastic rotating draught list with many craft beers from around the country in addition to excellent Vermont beer selections. Always has a few Hill Farmsteads on draught. Full bar available. Surprisingly great food with daily specials that are always tasty, and great "chip" style fried pickles. The fish tacos are also my favorite in Burlington. There is a pool table, an arcade machine, and several large TV's usually playing different sports, but definitely not a sports bar. Can be loud and lively, with weekly live music nights. The bartender / owner is a great host and has grown Manhattans into a sleeper gem of a pizza joint.

THe pizza is always good, and the mozzarella sticks are pretty good as well. There's often a live band which is pretty cool and a little unexpected in such a small space, but it definitely works.

Manhattans is a landmark in Burlington. Great beer selection, pizza and wings, live music often and drink specials all week. Check the calendar or get there early for late night as it fills up fast!

Overall I like manhattans. Athough they cannot make garlic knots to save their life. usually they are undercooked and very doughy. Last time i asked for them to be cooked a little more, apparently the cook took it as an insult and burned the f**k out of them.
