Mom and I went for dinner. The waiter and other staff were so friendly! Everyone was happy and no surprise why! The food was amazingly scrumptious. We shared a plate and it was still so much food we had enough to full satisfy us. I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven't had the opportunity yet.

Romio’s in Boise is close to my office. The owners are very involved in Boise’s annual Greek Food Festival. I stopped by recently to get my go to lunch special, which is a pepperoni and black olive personal size pizza with a small side salad ($9.99). I was happy to see that now I can get a small Greek salad. Also, they now have a very nice patio section that has misters.  Other dishes that I’ve had here that I really enjoy are their Lasagna, and Avgolemono soup (traditional Greek soup with chicken, lemon and rice). — at Romio's Greek & Italian Restaurant.

It was our first time there today and our waitress Sophia did an amazing job of taking care of us! The food was amazing and the customer service was top notch. The Chicken Parmesan pasta was absolutely incredible. Can't wait to go back!!

Excellent service, the servers were very attentive after we were seated,we got drinks,appetizers and our server gave us some recommendations. We had a group of 4 people, and as the food came to the table, as you can see from the photos they are huge portions. We had the cheesy bread,dolmades,chicken parm,eggplant parm,custom calzone, lasagna. Every dish was excellent. People really need to give Romio's a try, you won't be disappointed

The food here is off the chain! Italian Chopped salad! The artichoke dip is excellent! You have to try the Potato Ice Cream! Definitely will revisit when in town!

Amazingly good Greek and Italian food. I have eaten there multiple times. All the dishes have been good. My favorite dish to date is the chicken marsala.

Not good, not terrible. Service was fine, but the place was basically empty at 1:30 on a weekday. The vibe is borderline fascist victim. Signs up all over about “labor shortage.” Had to listen to the owner ignorantly bloviate for the entire meal. I won’t be back.

It's VERY delicious and tastes homemade. Was happy and full! The service was great too! Our waiter Tanner was top of it and making sure we were good. He was fun and friendly as well! Also, the desserts were yummy. Loved the atmosphere. It's a cute, homey restaurant. 🤩

I love Italian food so I decided to give this place a try due to its high Google rating. The food itself was a little pricey for my taste but I come to expect that when I go to Italian restaurants. It tasted really good and The waitress was nice. The reason however I'm only leaving three stars is because when I got the bill, I was shocked to discover that it was higher than I expected. I did the math in my head and The numbers weren't adding up. So I asked for a menu and when they gave me one I discovered I was charged $2 more for every single item than what was listed on the menu. I inquired about this. the waitress apologized and said it was due to inflation. I understand inflation and the cost of things rising up. I just wish they would have told me sooner. Luckily I had enough money to cover my tab and a tip but it was completely without warning and if I never checked the menu, I would never have known that they were charging me extra for every single item. I did not expect to pay as much as I did. And some people who go out have a very strict budget so stuff like this can be very bad for both the restaurant and the customers. I hope this is something they resolve because their food was really good. And honestly, I wouldn't have minded paying the price that they charge me I just want a heads up next time that way I know for certain exactly what I'm paying.

This little place has BIG Flavor, and awesome service! Very much enjoyed the greek side salad, and the French dip for lunch today. Ambiance, was warm, and welcoming. Will return to try some of the delicious looking pasta dishes. Salute!

Ordered carry out. The food was delicious...which is why I was disappointed when we didn't get our side salad and discovered dolmades were not part of the hummus plate (I should have read the menu more carefully, but they shouldn't have a picture labeled hummus plate with dolmades if it doesn't come with it....and it really should for the price). 3 stars because I'm super bummed I didn't get what I was expecting, but also because their food was delicious. I'd be willing to give them another try just because the food was exceptional.

The service was great. Lots of sports tvs. I am not sure why you need so many. The food was good. Interesting menu. The mizithra spaghetti was good but an over generous amount of cheese. Will try Greek next visit.

The pizza with garlic crust is by far the best around. Beats out any pizza chain in my opinion. The pastas are amazing as well. The owner is a great guy running a great business

Best pizza I've had in a while! I'm used to eating pizza that tends to have a sauce that's way too sweet, but these guys have the best savory sauce I've had in a long time! We got the Margherita pizza and the pepperoni.

When I lived in WA this was my go to. I finally made it to romios here in boise! Let me tell you, the food is still my favorite!! I did take my order to go, but if you have time to sit and enjoy this is your place to do that. It is quiet and quaint for a date night. The atmosphere is like home. They do have a little bar with a huge assortment of wine, the restaurant is clean, food is splendid, and most importantly the servers are friendly with a smile on their faces. They do have a cute outdoor patio for late spring and summer months. Thank you romios for having great customer service, great food, and smiles!!!

Brought my family of 10 without a reservation. They took us and gave us excellent service. If your looking for cheesey pasta dishes, this is the place! We tried appetizers, salads, pizzas, pesto, alfredo, chicken parm, everything was delicious!!!

We used to come to Romio's often, but since we moved to Kuna, we haven't been here in several years. We were in the area and my GF said "let's go to Romio's for lunch!" We were super excited about having our old fave pizza, the Zorba. We found it wasn't on the menu anymore, but our server said they can still make it. Yay! It was as amazing as ever! We were so thrilled! Being back was like meeting an old friend. Still the best pizza in town! We will definitely make a point of coming more often.

Food was great and staff was nice but we waited 30 mins for our server to bring us our check. Also, me and my bf both got super sick the next day. Not sure if it's related or not but a little precaution doesn't hurt.

Kinda disappointed. Ordered a lunch spaghetti but didn't realize it was a kid size but at a full size price. Sauce was good, couldn't quite place the flavor. Not sure if I will visit again, well at least not for lunch...

Love all the food here at Romio’s. Always is fresh and consistent. Get gyros and Greek salad for lunch here often. Dining in for dinner with wine pairing is even better. Nice locally owned establishment. Service is always provided great as well!!

Small quaint place with excellent food. They offer Greek and Italian options and you can't go wrong either way. We frequent here most because of the options and the fact they offer mizzithera cheese. I am a big fan of their spaghetti and meatballs and the Gyro. The also offer Greek beers along side the standard regional options. The service us also great with a real family feel.

Cute little place with amazing service. Has some gorgeous outdoor seating surrounded by flowers and misters. Lunch specials are portioned great and taste outstanding. Caprese salad was so fresh and delicious. Good place for the family too.

Casual dining for sure. When you walk in it feels like a pizza place, and they do have pizza (smelled really good)! I'm mostly vegetarian and so I tried the hummus plate with pita, a pita falafel sandwich, tiropita & spanikopita with tzatziki and a Greek salad (sharing with someone). My favorite was the spanikopita. The hummus was bland, but it was served with a lemon wedge and that helped it a ton. The falafel pita was juicy, but I think only 2 falafel in there, and it would be nice to have three and maybe slightly less lettuce. For dessert we tried the mud pie- it was HUGE! Cookies and cream/vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and a lot of whipped cream. I was expecting less vanilla and more chocolate flavors. The service was great, I think our guy was Parker(?) When we go back, I would try the pizza, it looked amazing.

Crab Stuffed Ravioli with Shrimp! Oh my gosh! I love this place. The owner, Gus, is so personable and grateful. He comes out of the kitchen to greet his guests at their tables any time he can. The food here is delicious and the service excellent! It's your intimate neighborhood restaurant. A must try!

Went here for the first time tonight, how did I not know this place existed? It's been years since I had a good Greek feast / sampler plate, and everything on there was wonderful. The flavors were amazing and my date, who had never tried most of the dishes on the platter, loved every single thing on there. Great ambiance too, loved sitting on the patio to eat.

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner the other night, because it's close to our home and we had never been. They fed a wide range of traditional dishes and I was pleasantly surprised that they offered Italian sodas - that a huge! I could drink all mine as delicious as it was. The serving sizes here are also huge and remind me of a real Italian dish. My husband can usually eat all of his meal then about half of mine, however here that was not the case - both of us left with leftovers. The price for the portion is well worth it as you're truly getting two meals. This place would also be great for anyone who wants to share a dish - if we had known how big the portions were, we most likely would have gone that route. The staff was also kind enough to keep my purse and wallet secure when I had left it there on accident. Totally recommend!

It's funny how you find places like Romios..I myself look at recent reviews. The place is so laid back...you can actually hear the music and the food is SO GOOD, REALLY!!!(can't hear a thing at Olive Garden and food tastes like canned)..the spaghetti was excellent!! Strawberry lemonade was really tasty. I will remember this place when I want good food and great service..thanks.

I left disappointed this go around..... The staff is great, but had a few hiccups on this visit. To start, our clam chowder was forgotten and brought out real late, my New York steak came out medium well instead of medium rare, the extra 3 jumbo shrimp for 5 bucks extra were small to medium and the cherry on top, my tiramisu was still frozen. The staff was professional and did offer to retire my steak, but y'all were packed and I didn't want to wait. On another note, this was my first not so memorable meal I had from here.

Not bad but wasn't super impressed. So, got the gyro wrap a side of Greek salad for takeout -- it comes w/ a side. Total was $15.50 - honestly very pricey for a gyro wrap. Perusing the menu, it looked like a 12" sub was almost $20! Seems expensive to me. The most disappointing thing was that there was no tzatziki sauce on the gyro or on the side -- such an essential ingredient and it's usually my favorite part. The gyro meat was pretty good. Fresher and better flavor than average. The size of the gyro wrap overall was moderate, wasn't huge which I would expect for that price. After finishing the meal I was still hungry. The Greek salad was pretty good. The service was good for the take out experience. Staff was friendly. Romio's didn't live up to the reputation for me but it had some pretty good things going for it and I would give this place another try. It seems the prices are more reasonable for lunch time.

The entire experience was stellar!! The atmosphere, the service, and the food. I have eaten Italian in Little Italy (NYC) and had food prepared by Italian American hands and the scent and flavors of the food is hands-down the best Italian in Boise!! We will definitely return to Romio's!

Our first visit to Boise and we found Romio’s on Google and decided to try it. Absolutely wonderful! The folks who answered the phone and took our order were great, as was our very prompt and friendly delivery driver. Best of all, the food was outstanding! We tried the pizza, the Greek dinner, and the baked Alfredo formaggio and all were hot, perfectly seasoned and delicious. We will be back! Thank you, Romio’s! Well done!

Food was good and service was good. Be aware, the Baked Fettuccini Formaggi has an obscene amount of mozzarella cheese. I love cheese, but it was difficult for me to chew. It does say "boat of cheese" in the description though, so I cannot say that I wasn't warned. I just wish it had had more pasta. Then again another person in my party got it and loved it, so it could just be a personal preference thing. Either way, it was a good experience and their Italian sodas were very tasty.

We went there for my partner's birthday and had a great evening. I don't say that carelessly-- I can usually find something to complain about. Their outside dining foliage blocked out most of the parking lot for an intimate feel. The prices are fair and the portions are HUGE. What stood out the most was the amazing service and the really good food. We will definately be back.

My wife and I have eaten here 10 or so times for date night and tried at least 15 different entrees (between the two of us). We have never been disappointed. The food, wine and service have always exceeded our expectations. Flavors are delicious and well balanced. Pasta is cooked just right consistently. Portions are generous. Both their Italian and Greek cuisine are solid in our opinion. I highly recommend you try it.

Fantastic food and wonderful staff! The owner and his family are frequently there and all the waitresses and waiters are attentive and kind. Their clam chowder, meatball sub and homemade chips are AMAZING! They have never let us down.

Delicious food!! I had the beef lasagna and it was fantastic. My daughter had the chicken parmesan, I think that dish could have fed 3 people. LoL. Chicken was very good, tender, and lightly breaded. Don't sleep on the baklava here, some of the best I've had and I used to go to Greek Town in Detroit for the stuff. We can't wait to go back!!

It's more of a dine-in classy type place but we opted for ours to go because we were busy.

I just love this restaurant. It's been a mainstay for me since their old location on Milwaukee. There meals are wonderful comfort food with generous portions for a fair price. I’ve ordered take-out at least a dozen times from here and every single time I’ve had a good experience. I’ve never dined inside to truly know what their service is like, but based on the food alone it’s ultimately fantastic. I think the classic caprese, classic margherita pizza, four cheese penne, and tiramisu are my favorites. My only con is the calzone. It tastes incredible. The bread is great. The flavor is there. But the problem is—it is not a calzone. It is more like a stromboli than a calzone. Still wonderful. Overall, this place is exceptionally good and I will be returning.

We are from Washington so we have never been here, we walked in and it was dead no one sitting at tables, we wernt sure but tried it anyways. Great location. Nice assortment of menu choices for Greek & Italian dishes. It was pretty busy for a Friday evening. The wait staff were all working very hard to keep up. Service was a little slow at my table, partly because my server was busy chit chatting with one couple whom she evidently knew on a personal basis. She got sidetracked easily forgetting her task at hand. Her friendly nature made for a pleasant experience overall.

ALWAYS worth the drive - not all restaurants are worth the drive. Romio's is a 90min round trip for food for us and Romio's is ALWAYS worth the drive. Consistent quality / never an off day w/ the crew. Their OnlineOrdering/menu is easy to navigate and always clear where you're at in the order process and easy to move back and fwd. --seriously a great experience from the initial hunger rumblings through to the after glow and fully bellied satisfaction of a good meal thoroughly enjoyed.

The Greek Dinner Plate with the souvlaki skewer is great! They deliver, the service is always solid, and they have a good mix of food. We had a slight issue with our food tonight, but Gus was on top of it and promptly fixed the issue. I always appreciate people who make sure their customers are taken care of.

A great place to go for both Greek & Italian. I had the Greek Pastitsio (sort of Greek lasagna) and it was great! Wife had baked fettuccine formaggi and it was also great. We shared our meals so we could try each. They have spaced out tables to about 50% capacity to keep distance. The chef Gus came out to check on us and gave us a brief history of Greek lasagna. Over all, a great place to get some tasty food.

I am so grateful we stumbled upon Romio's. What a gem! Great variety of Italian and Greek food, owned and cooked by a down to earth, wonderfully pleasant, Greek man himself. Everything is good! Gus's platter is wonderful! Crab ravioli is magnificent. Pizza is on point. But those lemon potatoes are my favorite!! Word of advise, don't accidentally leave your leftovers on the restaurant table when you depart. It will haunt you for days to come because the are SO good!

Great restaurant and even better people! Paul was my server and he did a fantastic job of walking me thru the menu, telling me about the history of the place, and recommending some great options. The pita wrap was awesome! But the freshly made chips sealed the deal for me. I'll definitely be back! Had the best Cobb salad I've ever eaten! Chicken breast was cooked to perfection, blue cheese dressing was delish, and all the extras, bacon bits, blue cheese, tomatoes, etc, in the salad were fresh and tasty. Staff were very attentive. Will definitely be back.

Great service. We like everything on the menu except the Chicken Marsala. We ordered it today and couldn’t eat it. The chicken was a frozen patty and the dish was more like chicken Alfredo than Marsala. Marsala is not an Alfredo. But we have had many other things here that were very good.

My family's favorite restaurant. We've never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. We've had gyros, pizza, and about 5 different pasta dishes. All have been delicious. Delivery is always fast, and the waiters are always friendly. Whenever I have guests from out of town, I take them there.

Every time we order for delivery they get it right! I love that they have my name, address and payment info on file so it's easy to order. The food is delicious and absolutely worth the price. They have the best mozzarella sticks, fresh made potato chips, great Greek food and great Italian food! My only critique would be to put your menu directly on your site so it doesn't have to be downloaded.

Man, my opinion of this place has done a 180. The first two times i went, so much disappointment, And maybe there's been some turnover, or I was just impatient, but I have loved everything I've had since, and their service is spot on. I can't speak for dine-in, though their delivery service is like rest used to be , before these new delivery services. GET THE LEMON CHICKEN SOUP. BY THE QUART. You can thank me later.

The food is wonderful...the service...not so much. This is our 3rd try, and each time the staff takes a very long time to bring any water or drinks. They all talk together behind the bar and the customers suffer because of this. They rarely clear plates and each time we have gone, no one has come back to ask how our meal is. I really think with the proper training, business would be much better. I don't blame the wait staff, but management really needs to be more involved with the proper training of their staff. It could really help the wait staff with their tips too!

By far our favorite restaurant for Greek and Italian in a low key environment. The service is excellent. The food? Everything we’ve ever eaten there is wonderful! Went in here for some Italian food and ended up ordering Greek/Mediterranean food - Chicken Kabobs, hummus, rice and a salad ....the service was fast, restaurant relaxed . I started with the salad - I think it was generic pre-packaged lettuce but they added romain to it - Now comes the crazy part - Their House herb salad dressing is amazing . The rice is very good, the chicken was cooked to perfection (very moist) ...and I loved the hummus and pita bread - for desert I ordered Baklava. Man this thing was huge (biggest I ever ordered from anywhere) and they hit it out of the park - great flavors.....I need to go back and try some Italian food but I don't know with how well this tasted the first time.

Romio's Restaurant is a great family run, family oriented, place for lunch or dinner. Their food is fantastic and they are willing to work with the customers to help with allergies and diet requests within bounds. They cannot make egg plant parm. Vegan, but they can spaghetti. The staff is attentive and friendly with a truly here you are family atmosphere.

Fantastic food, good prices, huge portions. The sausage and pepper penne is out of this world good. Initial sticker shock of paying $16 for pasta quickly melts away when you take your first bite. About halfway through the meal the realization that it is 2 full meals drives home the value. Friendly and attentive servers put Romio's in a class of it's own. Highly recommend.

The pizza wa very good. Different kind of pizza, the crust was fluffy which I normally dont enjoy, however it was done well. The sauce was a little spicy which added some good flavor. The atmosphere was small amd not too loud. The employees are a little unorganized. I watched my pizza sit for almost 10min before they got it to me.

The service was great. Paul, our particular server, was very attentive but not annoying. Their calzone was done perfectly (although it would have been delicious if it included ricotta cheese). Double stack pepperoni was really good. Ordered the garlic crust but it was garlic in the sauce (way way too much). I hated to scrape the sauce off, but did and a ok after that.

Everything about Romio’s is excellent! We’ve never dined in there before, because we live close by so delivery is convenient. So I can’t speak regarding the waitstaff, but all of the other staff we’ve encountered have been pleasant to work with. Really love Romios! Its a perfect place to enjoy a great dinner before watching a mystery play or a comedy improv show at Playhouse Boise, now known as Watson's. Give yourself at least an hour and a half to eat as sometimes it takes 20-30 minutes for them to bring you your food, and who wants to rush so you don't miss the show?

First time here and it was really good! Happy to find a place that has greek lemon soup (Avgolemono). We will definitely be going back. There were 3 of us and we each had a different pasta dish. They were basically the same with a little bit of difference. Kind of generic, but tasted good and was good proportionally. The calzone looked amazing, so I will be ordering that next time. The service was really good. I'd give this 5 stars, if the water hadn't tasted like soap. Entree prices were very reasonable, soup was $3.99 for a cup (too high) and $5.99 for a bowl (WAY too high).

I'm giving this restaurant a four star for the FOOD, not particularly for the service. I came in about two o'clock in the afternoon and while I stood at the door, I was greeted by a wave from one of the (female) employees whom was on the company phone, obviously taking a customer call. This particular employee motioned for one of the other employees to my attention. A very pleasant and upbeat Asian gentleman quickly greeted me and sat me in a comfortable seat by the window. He informed me that my server 'Josie' would be right with me. This is when my five star service rating began to drop. I was able to read the entire menu (for those of you who know the menu, it's not small) before I even saw a glimpse of my server, or any server for that matter. After roughly five minutes, I saw my server 'Josie' come from behind a small station (clearly a side station for servers) and a gentleman in a white chef's coat (whom I later learned was 'Gus', the owner of the restaurant) came out from this same side station following my server. It seemed as though they were behind the scenes chatting and laughing while I, the customer, sat and waited to even be greeted. When 'Josie' finally greeted me, she immediately took my order, without asking me specific questions to the menu, it seemed as though she rushed me. It made me feel as though I was an inconvenience for her schedule. From this point, I will just give a quick synopsis as to my experience with 'Josie The Server': My drink was regular, when I asked for diet; my soup came out at the same time my entree did; my server spent so much time talking with 'Gus' in the corner side station that she missed keeping my drink full, and I had to ask the cashier for my check and to cash me out. I was going to order their famous baklava, however I felt so rushed and my server didn't even take time to ask. Note: I understand the food service industry, having worked in it for years. I also understand small businesses that lack corporate policies. So, maybe this small family owned business is more lax in their customer service skills. Note: My reference to gender and ethnic employees is only to help the reader identify those employees.

The lunch specials offer a diverse array of options here. It was hard not to get my usual favorite, the pastitsio, do I did opt this time for a personal pizza with ground beef and mushrooms and it was excellent as was the avglolemeno soup for which Greek cuisine is known. It would be nice to have a lunch option where you don't need the side dish because it's actually more food than I would normally want to have it lunch and it would keep the price down though I still definitely recommend it. They said the price would be the same without the side so that wouldn't make a budget difference.

I've only given one other restaurant 5 stars. Romio's is by far the best restaurant around. We thought the prices were great with a calzone being less then $10. Then it got better when the food arrived! The portions were happily huge, but not too big. The calzone was the size of a small pizza. I ate half and had left overs that didn't last once I got home. The chicken marinara was a huge lightly breaded breast on a bed of delicious red sauce and speghetti. Everything tasted superb, waitress was very polite, got seated and food came quick - piping hot out of the oven, restaurant has beautiful fake grapevines and windows giving it great atsmosphere, too many things to list! The best $20iah dollars I ever, ever spent. Highly reccomend!

Romio's is one of my favorite places to eat. The owner is often there and interacts with the customers. The waiters and waitresses are always very polite, and the food is amazing. It is a cute little restaurant that is quite homey and comfortable. A hidden gem. They even have a Gyro truck at the Fair, Called "Zorba's Kitchen" I believe. Best Gyros and best Tzatziki sauce hands down.

Whenever my family flys into Bouse, we grab dinner here. It can sometimes get busy, but it's worth the wait. Also, family friendly, there is a bar you can sit at, and outdoor patio in the summer. Family owned and managed, and we love how personal the staff are with us, even though we only make it there a handful if times times year. Def get the Lemon, chicken rice soup. Lasagna is always a winner! And get the tiramasu....it's not the easiest place to find from traffic, and it's in a newer looking building shared with another business. City Buffet sits sort of behind it in a strip mall. Oh, and you can order Greek or Italian food. Best kids mac and cheese too!

The pistachio is excellent which is the only dish I have gotten this far in my many visit, however trying the egg plant Parmesan was an incredible disappointment and tasted like pre-bought pre-breaded, little round coins.(barely there eggplant) I definitely would not come back for the egg plant I’m really disappointed wish they really made it in house because if they did they’re horrible.
