Good food, better customer service. I’m happy to have found a small, family owned business that offers a huge variety of seafood options! My mom smiled the whole time she ate dinner. We ordered the soft shell crab sandwich, half pound of fried shrimp, and fried cod with corn on the cob and mixed grilled vegetables. Great value for the money, will definitely visit again to try more!

Been coming here for over a year, and I’ve never had anything bad. Today I had the Snow crab boil bag, with shrimp, crawfish, and the other standard fixings (eggs, corn, etc). Get the Juicy special seasoning, you won’t be disappointed. This was the best boil I’ve had in a long time. The fried catfish and golden fried shrimp are great too. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean.

I googled best seafood boiled bags in Baltimore and seen this place. I read the reviews and drove there. Tasted the free fried shrimp and it was amazing. I decided to get a pound of fried shrimp and a soft shell crab sandwich with a crab cake added. You can ask for this just purchase the crab cake and add it! Everything is probably good! I will be going here for boil bag in a few minutes.

Best shrimp I’ve ever had. Seasoning is on point. It’s called the golden fried shrimp! Definitely get it. I’m sad that it’s almost done. Taking every bite slowly now so it doesn’t finish. I’ve never done a review before but this was so good I had to!

I’ve been meaning to try a seafood boil in town and am so glad I finally found a place that does it so well!! The shop owners were super friendly and gave us samples of their fried shrimp which was perfectly seasoned and super crispy :) would definitely recommend!!

First let me say I was a little skeptical but I’m glad I gave this place a try the guy khan greeting me and gave me a few minutes to order and made sure everything was right the food was delicious especially the golden fried shrimp the catfish was nice and golden brown haven’t tasted the steamed shrimps yet I was afraid to try the catfish after 2 disappointments from other places but this place has me sold I will definitely come here again the place is clean and they are definitely polite they have a win in my book

We are from out of town and was looking for a seafood place with a local feel and this was the place! We got one of the Brooks and some fried lobster tails and are very satisfied. It's not a sit down place but if you are looking for some real takeout seafood I highly recommend coming here! I really didn't know how to take a pic that showed the food but look at the size of that boil!

This seafood shop is the best, don’t even look for others. I travel all over the US for work and this is the place I would travel back to Baltimore specifically for! Walked in and was helped right away. My online order was ready when requested. The husband, wife and son were very sweet and wonderful to talk with. I received a sample of the golden fried shrimp which was delicious and cooked perfectly. The clams, crab, cod and sides were also cooked beautifully and were extremely delicious. We googled this place because we wanted fried fish. We got there and asked one of the customers if he had eaten there before and he said yes he has and the food is great. And young lady from behind the counter gave us two fried shrimp to try out and the fried shrimp was amazing! She said the fish is fried with the same batter. If ever there was a restaurant that fit the phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover" this would be it. The neighborhood could be better, but the store was clean and bright... The seafood (large female crabs, large shrimp) were fresh and perfectly cooked. Very tasty, I asked for light seasoning and they listened. The staff were very friendly and told me about their specials and offers to help make my decision of purchase. They have specials and deals to fit ANY budget and they also accept SNAP benefits or EBT. All in all I had a good experience and I will return soon.

BEST FRIED SHRIMP IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! Don't let the location fool you. This establishment serves high quality, delicious seafood that is mouthwatering and fresh. The family who owns this place are honest about the source of their seafood too, were very friendly and helpful, and a pleasure to do business with. They were very patient with our questions and went out of their way to make sure we left satisfied. With how delicious it was they really need to be at the inner harbor.

Go here, you won't regret it! This place was delicious!! We were driving through and I wanted some inexpensive fresh cooked seafood. This was the spot! They pull the fresh seafood and cook it to order, so it takes a few minutes to get your order, but it's worth every second and so worth it for the price!! We ordered the #55 super deluxe seafood combo platter to share between two people, and we still couldn't finish it in one sitting (honestly I think it would be perfect to split between three people)! They clearly care about their customer base, and knew they hadn't seen us around before, so they gave us a sample of their in-house battered and fried shrimp and also gave us an extra container of coleslaw! We got onion rings (which are just your standard frozen drop and fry) and coleslaw as our sides. The coleslaw is good (a bit "wet" but that's not a bad thing in my book), and they make it fresh in house every day (as you should!). I think next time instead of onion rings I might go for the seafood salad or potato salad, and their boiled seafood bags also look delicious if you have time for a bit messy eating. We were driving, so we specifically chose the fried platter which was mostly finger foods so we could eat in the car. When we went into order, we felt reassured by the covid-19 safety protocols they put in place, and there was a family who are clearly regulars waiting on their order. I wish we lived in Baltimore so we could eat here more often, but you better believe I'll be passing through and getting more food from them next time I'm in the area! This is definitely a hole in the wall, hidden gem. I like to frequent small family owned restaurants and places that put their money into having good food rather than "ambiance" and this place definitely met that standard! I'm still dreaming about those shrimp! Thanks again for a wonderful experience, and we will be back!

COVID safe carry out restaurant. After a Google search for the best fried shrimp near me, this location popped up. After reviewing the photos and reviews, I decided to call in an order. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly, and WELL seasoned. The shrimp were coated in a batter similar to chicken fry with the perfect amount of spice and heat. They were cooked perfectly and were steaming hot upon pickup. I was quite surprised by the freshness and how well they were seasoned. Adding this restaurant to my list of "go-to" spots. Looking forward to my next trip.

The seafood is great always happy with my orders (seafood platter) but was misquoted on the crabs I purchased. I was told one price over the phone and told another (a higher price once I arrived). So, I will not buy crabs there again but I will purchase seafood.

Certified Fresh! The food and service goes beyond what you'll experience most places. Yes, the food is an experience for sure! Amazing quality, flavor, and portions. I had a ln incredibly pleasant time with the staff here. They are phenomenal. Warm, inviting, humble. This place is certified fresh and I'm telling everyone I can about it! For first timers: This is carryout and delivery only but I'd say come and enjoy the experience of staff and the many selections. I’ve recently been made aware of this restaurant and so far have had Menu selection #40 - The Catfish Platter and I was TOTALLY SATISFIED. So much so that I made my second trip there today and was given a sample of their New Golden Fried Shrimp. DELICIOUS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! I’ll be back for the shrimp. Another customer told me not to accept the sample…said that’s what started her and she was their getting what looked like two trays of the NEW GOLDEN FRIED SHRIMP. I usually go to the seafood spots on Monroe but they were closing and I wanted to get crab legs before my best friend went back to NY. Called here and was pleasantly surprised that they allowed me to order over the phone, saving valuable time (most other spots do not allow this major customer service standard). Then upon arrival, I realized I misunderstood the price of the order and was $10 WHOLE dollars short on a $31 dollar order. They let me take my food regardless and insisted that I didn't need to worry about it. I was in tears over their graciousness and for sparing me from humiliation when they never met me once! I am not a regular here and was blown away by the kindness of my Muslim brothers! Then when I had the chance to crack open the crab legs, I sat with eyes closed slowly chewing the food and genuinely enjoying the seasonings and flavors that jumped out on my tongue. The meat was perfectly steamed with delicious garlic butter sauce (highly recommend) and my friend and I were both blown away by the richness! Due to their amazing customer service, high quality seafood, and the fact that the name of this place rings true (I really did have a happy time that night!) I'm a new regular! I'm truly sad to admit that I've been driving by the place for years but never gave it a chance until last week, simply because I knew of closer spots I already enjoyed.

This family owned business is a gem. They recently divided the space so they could serve delightful delicious hot food on one side and have a fresh food market on other side. They are clean, friendly, family and community oriented business. I heard owner inquiry about community members health and well being and send well wish. This is something that use to be done in Baltimore all the time but is rare in these days. I am just glad to see this kind of care and love in Baltimore. Plus the food is THE BEST!!! very friendly. great seafood. take out only. no sit downs since it is fresh, it is so delicious. but you can not leave it to the next day. it you do, it will taste like other seafood otherwise (frozen and unfrozen) another customer (in the autoshop) comes here every week. he praises the service highly too. one dozen crabs freshly steamed is 55$. 20 minutes. since it took us one extra hour on our way to home, 20 minutes are not bad.

Holy Hush Puppie Batman! This place truly is a diamond in the rough. Friendly staff, great service, and the food was absolutely spectacular. We had the crab cake sandwich, hush puppies and fried shrimp and they tasted fresh and incredibly flavorful.

Maaaannnnn, look! I was trying everywhere in the city to get crabs for my wife. I called them on the job at 7:30... note they close at 9, not only did they hook me up with small and medium crabs, 1and an half dozen. They waited til 9:30 after store hours to serve me some of the best crabs yet. Compliments from an chef , now bus driver... my girl love yall crabs so much!!! Thank you Happy times Seafood. Looking for a carryout with fresh seafood from lobster to tilapia, from soft crabs to steamed king crab legs, well happy times is right for you. Not only can you get a prepared meal from the carry out area if you want to get some steamed crabs with ebt you can step right out and in to the next store and get steamed crabs or shrimp or mussel whatever choice youd like. Amazing!!!! Me and my family went here for the first time today and we all love it! Customer service was very very satisfying. Loved everything about it. We moved from Texas to Baltimore and couldn’t find the seafood we loved back home but this gives me southern seafood to the T! We got the $60 platter and the snow crab bag for $30. I live in Rockville, Maryland. A couple of days ago, Saturday, I was home and very pressed for some really good-tasting seafood. I searched in Google Maps for the best seafood carryouts in Maryland. A couple of places came up. But among them was “Happy Times Seafood.” I thought to myself, an establishment touting the name “Happy Times Seafood” has to have both really good quality and really good-tasting seafood. So, I took the chance to drive the near 40 miles to check-out “Happy Times Seafood.” I was greeted by very friendly folks eager to assist me with placing my order. I had been dying to try a “seafood boil bag”. I ordered that for myself and chicken tenders and fries for my children. I also ordered a salmon platter, and I asked them to add King Crab Legs to my Seafood Boil. Folks, in total on my first visit, I spent 150.00. I made my trek back home to eat. Everything was absolutely delicious and I was not disappointed in anyway. I journeyed back a couple days later and was contemplating trying the same seafood boil since I enjoyed it thoroughly, but decided to try something different. So, I inquired about fried flounder and fried soft-shell crabs. I ordered a couple of flounder dinners and a soft-shell fried crab sandwich. I got my order and left. Headed towards the beltway and decided, “ I ain’t waiting until I get home to eat this fried soft-shell crab sandwich!” Took several bites and told my wife to pull over! Don’t get on the beltway! I immediately called Happy Times Seafood to ask them to make me 4 more fried soft-shell crabs. I told them I was turning around and coming back right now for them! The soft-shell crabs were nice-sized and “ off-da-Richter Scale” delicious!! Folks, I’m preparing to make the trek there again today shortly. I’m really glad I discovered “Happy Times Seafood” and I am guaranteeing you will enjoy any item on their menu exceedingly just as I did! Definitely, a Baltimore treasure!

Such an awesome experience here! I called 20 minutes before they closed and asked if they could make one more order. They said sure and I told them I would be there in 15 minutes so they said to call back when I got there. When I arrived they opened the door and treated me like I was the first person to show up that day.
