Reviews of The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant

We had dinner at the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant on a Friday night with two little kids and it was a real treat! This place is themed very well and almost gave me Disney World vibes. The coolest part is how the planes land directly in front of the windows and outdoor seating.
For dinner, the kids got pasta and we got the hangar steak *no pun intended? or was it?). It was not *amazing* food but definitely better than what I was expecting for this type of place. A highlight was the Cheese Grits, which were some of the best I have had in a long time.
The best part of our meal was a biplane that landed and parked right out front of the restaurant. The kids absolutely loved this. It was right in front of our table and the walk outside to see it up close was quick.
Stop by this place if you have kids, or later in the evening of you are looking for a bar with a dance floor.

Pro Tip - the old fashioned isn’t their best, avoid it 👎 (watery because of the ice used)
Otherwise, this place is amazing. A trip back to ww2 times, except this food is prob way better. :)
All the food we had, soda, Long Island, all superb and well enjoyed.
Service was polite, thoughtful and appreciated!
Flights coming and going were by far another treat, and we got to see the red Bi-plane take off and land, very neat experience!
We loved our visit, we would certainly come again and could recommend to anyone looking for good food.

Haven’t been here in many years. Still the same. Still fun. And good food. As you pass through the sandbag lined bunker you go back in time. Past the unfinished portrait of FDR ( if you’ve never visited Warm Springs, go there ). Try to sit by the windows or on the patio to watch the planes take off and land at PDK. I had a lunch spinach salad. Excellent. Wife had a burger. Order it more rare than you normally do. She asked for medium and it was closer to well done. She still liked it. They have a full bar at reasonable prices, so we took advantage of it 😄. We will not wait so long to return.

This place is definitely a gem. The restaurant itself has a very cool vibe. There are neat historical decor from the moment you park the car that is sprinkled throughout the establishment.
The hostess was snooty (she didn’t greet us and acted annoyed that we were there) and was borderline rude. The restaurant seemed to split into two; the casual dine in was situated on the left and the business attired folks were seated on the right side of the restaurant.
We were seated quickly and our server was amazing. She was very patient and sweet and answered all of our questions regarding the food and the establishment. We sat by the window so my daughter could see the planes taking off and landing. She loved it. They also had ample outdoor seating right next to the landing strip which I’ll return to try when the weather gets warmer.
The food was overall very good. The Rueben was delicious (per my friend) and the side of green beans was the epitome of perfection. Soft on the inside, slight crunch on the outside. It was flavored immensely well with a hint of garlic that didn’t overpower the vegetable itself. The Buffalo chicken dip was excellent and the chips it came with tasted fresh. The grilled cheese was a bit weak: the outside was burnt and the cheese was sparse. The fries it came with was also underwhelming. My salad tasted fresh but could’ve used more pecans and oranges.
Overall we had a nice time and will return.

Really enjoyable brunch spot! The food was good but I wish they had a little better selection. The service was great and the price was reasonable. An added bonus is that you sit and watch the planes take off and land at the airport next door. Pretty awesome!

Quirky World War II themed restaurant from the past with a very loyal following of mixed age groups.
Indoor/outdoor bar and dinner seating in several rooms with dedicated event space beside the runway of the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport.
Prices appeared fair and menu offering on a dinner and sandwich menus appeared well prepared and of generous portions.
Parking was adequate as was physically handicapped accessibility. Service was very good and all guests appeared satisfied and well cared for.
Several televisions were playing sports and extertainment for a later evening dance floor was being prepared.
Well worthy of a second look!

The atmosphere was unique and well done. The food itself was also very good and I had the prime rib as you can see in the picture. My dish was very tasty and a few people in my party got the bone in pork chop which was also delicious and looked well. One of my friends got the filet which was cooked cooked to his liking call my but was slightly under seasoned. Appetizers at the table included the cheeseburger soup and fried shrimp which was a big hit. Our server was woefully slow and missed a few people that wanted to order appetizers. Over all would go again and The Visit was enjoyable

We love coming here. It's perfect for our toddler who loves to watch the planes take off and land as we eat. The theme is super cool and the food is good and varied. We especially love their buffet brunch now that they've brought it back after Covid. I highly recommend!
Jill Morgan
We went for brunch and it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend the mimosa kit! Food and service were exceptional! Can't wait to come back!
Had the opportunity to return for dinner when celebrating my wedding! Food was delicious and our server was fantastic! She even took the time to take pictures. Another amazing experience!

This restaurant is very nice. Hidden off the road. You're on the green right before the airfield. Parking was plentiful however we arrived a little after eight for dinner service on a Friday night. This is were service got a 5 ⭐. We unknowingly add an additional person to our invite and we had to add a chair to our table. However the restaurant staff handled it perfectly. I could tell the server was a little P.Od. about it originally. She handled our table with great service and professionalism the rest of the night. While there I visited the men's restroom and found reading material at eye level, from a news paper from word war 2. The atmosphere was very cool. It feels old and rustic. At one end of the restaurant there's a large ball room for weddings and events. On the other side there's a dance floor and a couple bars to get drinks. This earned them another 5 ⭐. So it comes down to the food. I had the prime rib and my wife had the salmon. The prime rib was a bit of a let down. By the time reached the center the steak, it had lost it's flavor. The skirts steak was a bit salty. The salmon was delicious very smooth almost melt in your mouth. All the sides are add ONS. This is where they received a 4 ⭐ rating. To me the value for the money fell short.
Ramona Fair
Excellent service. Nice memorabilia. Large dance floor and bathroom. Patio was appropriately spaced. Plenty of parking. Great atmosphere and spacious.

I can't say enough about this place! We visited for Sunday brunch and from the nostalgic decor, romantic flight path location to the robust brunch buffet, it truly is a unique worthwhile experience.
Set your reservations and let them know that #RealtorRob with Keller Williams Intown Atlanta recommended them!

The food here is really good and it’s an interesting and fun place to go to see the PDK planes take off while eating. The outdoor dining space is large and well-kept but there is plenty of indoor seating as well.
theTacticalCigar
Great experience here at the HQ. Food was excellent, the service was spot on, and all the history surrounding you was pretty surreal. Definitely recommend 👍 …

Spent a week in Atlanta and visited this place on Saturday night. An airfield military style dining establishment that did not disappoint. Great food, great music, everyone was friendly, service was wonderful, outdoor seating, and a dance floor that stayed full. All adults of various ages dancing the night away. I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to return!! I highly recommend the Salmon Souffle!! The best Salmon dish I ever had!! You must try it. The DJ ROCKED THE HOUSE!! March 26, 2022.

I went here with some friends to get dinner and dance. Our waitress was incredibly rude that I ended up not even ordering dinner. I can't believe someone with that attitude is allowed to work as a server. The dance floor was a blast, though. I would come back for dancing, but not for anything else.
Douglas Stewart
Been eating here for 30 years. Always great food, excellent service, and awesome atmosphere. Love watching the planes takeoff and land while you eat. The broccoli almost upstaged the Prime Rib and the Prime Rib was superb!
Karen Ackerly,LMT
Great experience. Stopped by to sit outside and have a Salad and a glass of wine on my way home from a long day. Peaceful atmosphere outside and vibrant bar when ready to chat.
blackbutterfly7802
Very different and unique atmosphere. The service was top-notch. I think my server's name was Juan... and he was amazing. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger for lunch and it was delicious and reasonably priced. One thing we all enjoyed was watching the jets take off and land with the view of the runway. I recommend.
Justin Halford
Cool world war II themed restaurant on an airport. Where you can see planes land and take off.
Jon Parramore
If you’re looking for an unique dining experience watching planes/jets taking off and landing this is your place. The menu is great and the portions are very filling, but the overall environment of the experience is what really makes this a restaurant to give it a try if in the area. During the outdoor seasons of Atlanta, they have a great patio that is literally steps away from the runway. If your into dancing or just people watching don’t miss their dance floor on Fri & Sat nights.
Lorraine Thompson
I only experienced the dance floor! There were very interesting people. A unique blend of culture, charm and energy. We only stayed until about 10 because it was getting a bit crowded, which is what I would expect to happen in a good dance club. 😁
I would recommend it for dancing, music and respectful personal interactions. We plan on going back.
Ross Freeman
Very unique and lovely experience every time. If the weather is warm eating outside is great. Right by the main taxiway, at a very busy non-commercial airport, you can almost touch the planes most days. Big beautiful jets and little bitty props and everything in between. A tourist biplane ( a very nice Waco) loads right there.
If you want inside, it’s the closest to a WWII forward airbase as you are going to get. It isn’t plush - because forward air bases aren’t plush. Cement floor, rough hewn wood - looks and feels like the French farmhouse it is modeled after. Except the dance floor - disco ball and everything.
The servers have always been personable and the food is consistently good. The dance floor gets pretty hot on a Saturday night, although the crowd is older.
Service can be a little slow on a busy night, but you are there to see planes. If you are in a rush, rush over somewhere else. This is an experience, not fast food.

BEST place ever! this past weekend was the first time I've ever been to 57th and the venue, atmosphere, and hospitality is unmatched! my family, friends, and I have been searching for a fun, classy, and safe place to dance our hearts out and hang out for awhile - and this is exactly what we were looking for! a wonderfully diverse crowd, live DJ, great food, big pours, twinkling lights on the patio ... we have literally already set a date for us all to go back soon!
Ellen Wolfe Skinner
My friend were disappointed in our brunch today. The scrambled eggs were dry, and the toast was soggy. The bacon was good however, as was his cocktail. The Chicken & Waffles left much to be desired, as the chicken was dry and the waffles were almost cold. The service was adequate but slower than it should have been, given the quality of the food.
It is an interesting place. The WWII history and decor are nicely done.
Kayla Claire
Loved it. Food was amazing and our server was kind and attentive. We went for Sunday Brunch and you won’t find better prices in Atlanta. It was so good that after I left I recommended my parents go and they enjoyed it as well! Definitely plan to go back, maybe for trivia
Sunne Allen
What an awesome place to go and hang out with your friends, eat and drink and dance and just over all have an amazing time. It's been a long time my husband and I had this much fun and we will be back. Fun music and great food makes it all worth it.
Ms S
Location is perfect.
Decor was very appropriate
It was too loud, glad things are picking up though!
Service was good.
Food was average and the menu limited.
James Braner
Nice place to have dinner with friends and watch planes land and take off. Pleasantly surprised to find a dance floor in the back.
Marcy Goldson
I have been coming to this restaurant for years and well as I have invited tons of friends, family members etc. Tonight I invited a group that has patronized my business and they totally enjoyed the food and service Deon our sever was amazing. We decided to go to the dance floor and it was extremely crowded to the costume party/Halloween weekend. Our server told us we could sit to the room behind the DJ. We did it was several of us one of the severs came in and told us we needed to get up because we were sitting in her place apparently she was rolling silverware along with another young lady. We moved and then when a patron came in from the dance floor to go out to a nearby door she got up and locked it so they wouldn’t be able to come back in. Now mind you the place was packed the dance floor extremely crowded. I approached the sever to talk to her about her terrible customer service attitude and that it sucked and I would get the manager. The manager comes out not sure if it was a women/man anyway I proceed to tell her about the lack of customer service and how you don’t speak to people she shakes her head and i mentioned that exits shouldn’t be blocked in case of a fire. She asks us all to leave the room when clearly the place was packed. Extremely appalling. The fact that you reward bad behavior I felt the whole thing was extremely racial because we had just paid for a meal all 8 of us in a party. And instead of correcting your server because of her rude energy and behavior you ask us to leave. Just WOW!! Shame on your 57!
I got a call from the administrative manager Itamar he apologized for the behavior and said that this was not indicative of 57 and their culture and I believed him. He did say both parties were addressed and asked that we come back out and he would show our group his appreciation from 57. I told him I really appreciate his apology and most importantly the "excellent customer" service. Thank you 57!!

from the perspective of a vegetarian: the food options were very limited in terms of entrees, the physical menu doesn't include the impossible burger which they do offer but is only shown on the online menu after some digging. i order the impossible burger it was fine, nothing terrible or amazing, it was fine. the hummus was really good i loved that, the side dishes were good too & my friends' steaks looked like they were cooked perfectly & they said they were delicious. they had a good drink menu & made a good moscow mule which i appreciated. the dancefloor was also lively, they played basic/inoffensive music but it was fun!
karrie Weddle (Sylestia)
I've had food here a few times and the food is always great. Love the black and blue salad with steak, the spinach salad, the catfish and hushpuppies, fried shrimp etc. The bartender in the lounge has been the same guy for years, he's amazing. The rest of the staff is always friendly.
I love to come here to dance though. DJ Silver ATL is usually there Thurs, Fri, and Sat. He plays a great mix of swing, salsa, disco, popular line dances, and modern hits/remixes. The dance floor is never empty.
They also have a huge outdoor seating area to watch the planes take off at night. In the fall they have fire pits going.
Kwippy22
The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing from the minute you pull up. We came for brunch on a Sunday. We asked for a table in a window (highly recommended) and only waited about 5-10 minutes to get our table ready. We were first seated in a back room which was fine, aside from the table next to who was extremely loud (not the restaurant’s fault). When asked to be move the staff was very understanding and quick to move us. We ordered the Fired Shrimp as an appetizer and The 57th French Toast as an entrée with mac and cheese on the side(just to try it),all of which was very good. Would definitely come again
Alex Lee
Food was great but the overall service quality is left to be desired. I understand they were short staffed and busy thought. It’s certainly an unique experience as you get to see planes taxi/take off/land in less than 200 feet.
It'z Me Dria
My 2nd visit and they have not failed! The customer service was outstanding! The food was GREAT!The wait staff... EXTREMELY friendly and attentive! It was my son's birthday and my husband and I didn't realize there was a DJ on Saturday's.... OMG... We had a BALL!!! He especially enjoyed himself and danced all night it seemed! We will definitely be back for date night on a Saturday night
Kathy Marks
We attended the Halloween party last night in the lounge with our church dance group. We enjoyed the atmosphere, music, and service. Nikki served us and was amazing getting around to everyone in her area with patience and ease. She made the night. Thank you!
Fred Grant
I've been going to this location for many years. I have to say that the food is great! Well priced and the theme of the restaurant is very cool! I believe it's got a WW2 aviation theme and it is located right next to an airport, so you can see many planes landing and taking off. There are many reasons to visit!
Anonymous Anonymous
We went for their disco night. The Atmos was fun and music was great! It was really hot though. They needed to crank up the AC and turn off the fireplaces by the dance floor. The food was very tasteless and mediocre. Drinks were watered down.
Rek LeCounte
Really cool spot with a bunch of awesome military and aviation history exhibits and features. The food and drink options are pretty decent, and the view of the runway is neat, especially if you like watching planes land and take off.
Ben Brumfield
Solidly good food for a fair price in the ultimate rustic atmosphere that commemorates WWII air force heros. It's right next to the landing strip at private airport PDK, so you watch all manner of aircraft take off and land while you enjoy meals-and drinks from a full bar. In good weather, you can observe from a generous outdoor patio next to runways, taxiways, and hangars of local billionaires. There's also a dance floor inside, where a more mature crowd cuts a rug to dance oldies, mostly from the 80s.
Carla Fedigan
I love having lunch with my dad there so he can watch the plans on a pretty day! Thanks for a great dining experience! Jose was an AWESOME server!
D M (Bigdtravels)
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant hidden off Clairmont Road at Peachtree Dekalb Airport The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths.
Their bunker salad, homemade soup and flatbread was outstanding. The atmosphere allows a relaxing meal while watching planes take off and land
Travis Hallman
I will be returning here but NOT because the excellent service.
This is a very unique theme for a restaurant. Kudos to the creators!
The food is excellent and classic. I very much enjoyed the Reuben sandwich and my lady very much enjoyed the New York strip. The spinach artichoke was ok but not flavorful.
It's cool to be capable of watching planes land and leave while dining. They even offer plane tours!
The server didn't introduce herself once she finally made it to my table. The receipt said her name is Ashley. She brought drinks and said she'd give us a minute to order but walked away while I said "we're ready to order an appetizer." She was clearly nearby enough to hear me but continued walking. Eventually she came back and I ordered the appetizer. Naturally, I ate most the appetizer but we finished it before she came back for entrees. Overall, she seemed distracted and somewhat angry.
However, I'm sure my next experience will be better with a different server.
Elder Ron Brown Sr.
Was able to have a very good brunch a birthday brunch to be exact. My family and friends came to celebrate perfect place for the kids to enjoy the planes on the runway..
Terrence Mims
Had the 12oz ribeye, could've been seasoned better. Pork chop was grilled and thick. Sides were ok and shrimp appetizer was great. Will come back though.
joseph ernest
Great food and service. Love sitting at the bar outside and watching the planes take off and land. Robert was tending bar and is always friendly and engaging.
Had the Fried Shrimp which was prepared with a crispy, well seasoned batter and perfectly cooked. The seafood chowder was excellent as well.
Vijay Alagarraj
Hidden gem! The outdoor patio is very cool overlooking the runway and you could see the private jets take off and landing. Plenty of beer options but only bottles / cans (no taps). Food was ok and taste could be improved. Service was good. We loved the WWII theme from the entrance and carried all over the restaurant.
Patrick Williams
Generally speaking, I don't expect much when I go to a 'themed' place that offers dinner and dancing, but I am continually impressed by 57th Fighter Group. I keep expecting less, but they just keep on exceeding my expectations! We went for a special occasion and I had a flat out spectacular meal: my steak was flavorful and cooked to perfection, my wife LOVED her salmon salad, the sides were spot-on, I mean REALLY exceeded my expectations! Oh, and then we danced the night away with a crowd that was as diverse as humanly possible: old folks shaking a hip replacement to college kids having a ball! The DJ/music was less than our fav, but who cared - we had so much fun dancing when the music was right and people-watching with our happy bellies when the song didn't make us happy!
Kris Hroncich
We went for dancing and celebrating a friends upcoming wedding. Bartenders were great and atmosphere so fun for a group.
Jim
It’s been many years since we’ve eaten here. Saw them them on GrubHub and thought I’d give them a try to see if food is still tasty. Ordered the cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and coleslaw. From order placement to delivery was just over two hours. GrubHub driver kept me me well informed and when the order did arrive, it arrived complete and correct, and packaged well for delivery.
The burger was cooked to a good medium as requested. The Swiss cheese was really good and well melted, and the bacon was crispy without being overdone. The burger was quite tasty and had a nice plating/presentation. Coleslaw was a delicate balance between sweet and tart with snap and black peppercorn helping you decide.
Overall it was an excellent lunch and I’d have no qualms about ordering it again.
Corey Whitworth
A fantastic WWII themed restaurant with a nice selection of well prepared entrees and desserts and a fantastic view of the taxiway/runway of the Peachtree/DeKalb airport. We arrived on an early Saturday evening with no reservations but were seated promptly. Our server was a bit terse and curt. However the manager was a completely different story. Upon seeing me taking an interest in all of the memorabilia, he took the time to give me a tour, explaining many of the items and sharing stories about some of the prominent pieces. It really gave our visit that extra something special. During our meal there were several private jets that took off/landed, but definitely the highlight was seeing a tourist oriented biplane land, park right outside the dining room windows and later, take off again.
John Sexton
The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is always awesome. A wonderful place to eat and have fun.
Alex Griffin
Amazing place to take the family. Watching the planes land and take off surrounded by an authentic WW2 building. Along with pictures and other memorabilia rounds out an excellent experience.
Alice Mabry
We had a fun time. It was a family gathering with two little ones and a 10 year old. Food was very good and our server delightful We will be back. Thanks for being there!
Kaylyn R
Amazing place! I want to go there again! Beautiful historic theme and the food is to die for. Best potatoes I have ever eaten in my life. Extremely fine quality food, wonderful service, and amazing location right beside an airport. I could see planes landing as I ate dinner!
Joseph Collea
Excellent service and good food. The decor, wall and building, is what draws you in. They use a Green Egg for most of their meats and you can taste the difference. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and catch flights right next to the runway.
Benita Kutsche
Nostalgic place with views along one side of planes, very unique. $26ish brunch was filled with all sorts of foods, friendly staff, great decor and fireplaces. We were in a back room with folding tables and plastic chairs, set up for larger groups I suppose. We also has plastic cups for the drinks, but it did not detract from the ambiance overload.
Betty Mercado
The food is very good after dinner on weekends we stay to listen to music and dancing DJ is great and the bartender ROBERT is Awesome but the Waitress he Always had bad attitude Throw a stuff and complain all the time.
Neka Nyamsi
We came here for the DJ. I assumed they had rock and roll dance music and salsa. The food is okay. However the view of the jets taking off and landing sets the tone. The restaurant is different. Looks like an abandoned army bunker. We enjoyed ourselves. The staff is awesome. Our waitress was attentive. My husband ate the trout stuffed with shrimp and mash potatoes. I got the salmon with grits and cheese. The food was basic. We ate crab spinach dip. The drinks were good.
Per Sveen
Friendly staff, tasty steak sandwich, unique decor and atmosphere, and great outdoor seating with views of bluebirds and airplanes.
Chelsea Getchell
This restaurant holds a unique experience with ambiance & atmosphere.
Things you should know:
I. LOCATION
By the DeKalb Peachtree Airport. What's cool about this location is you can watch the private jets land and take off as you eat. There is a private parking lot, which makes parking stress-free.
II. QUALITY
The esthetics were very interesting in capturing the restaurant as if it were a WWII Bunker--really cool concept. You're mainly eating here for the atmosphere and not so much for the food. I'd give the food a mediocre 3 stars but the ambiance a 5.. balancing to a 4 star overall rating.
III. SERVICE
Very accommodating. No complaints.
IV. CAPACITY
Relatively busy for a Thursday lunch, but we were seated right away.
Ursula Lentine
Fun place, ages 18 to 80, it's like being at a memorable wedding where everyone is having a good time in their own way.
Flavorful food, great DJ's, a dancers happy place
Jonathan Cole
Great food, great views and a good time. Really good buffet, loved the specialty items like bananas foster and the made to order omelets. My kids loved seeing the planes take off and land on the runway.
Robert Kariuki
This is one of those places I will never forget, amazing that you can dine just next to an airstrip runaway. Amazing view of planes landing and taking off. The service is also exceptional, great food. I especially loved the sweet tea. At the same time you get to see historic photos and wreckage from war.
Kae Smith
The food was amazing and the view of the planes taking off and landing was great. Loved dancing the night away after dinner. 1 stop shot for a good evening.
J C (Dad D)
Brunch was amazing! Bacon, sausage, eggs Benedict, home fries, every pasta and fruit you could want, meat loaf, pasta, salads, pasta salads, prime rib and ham.... it's all fantastic! But.... the best.... the banana fosters waffles... holy moley! Soooooo good
Eric James Morris
Very nice and unique place. You can watch the planes take off and land from your table through the windows. The decor is ww2 era and is very thorough, with several relics and history hanging on the wall. It actually has a museum feel, and I am looking forward to returning soon.
L S
Cool to watch the planes land and take off. Nice patio. Cool little hidden spot. I just had Coronas and Buffalo Chicken Dip but it was a nice snack!!
Juliana Warner
Good food, excellent beer cheese soup and wonderful experience. Kids love to see the planes land and take off. Biplanes rides also available
Aston Watt
Haven’t been here in many years. Still the same. Still fun. And good food.
TheBunnychildChannel
This is one of the coolest restaurants in the Atlanta area. You can sit on the patio or from inside and see small private planes take-off and land. The restaurant is decorated as-if you are eating in some liberated town right at the end of WWII in France or Belgium (location is relative-just my opinion). I love the decor. The best time to come here is during the Sunday Brunch. Expensive, but unbelievably good!
Jannell Harris
Table service is very slow, not very attentive. Food was very good. Schedule more staff on the weekends. Ladies restroom needed quite a bit of attention.
Kenneth Ayala
The food, drinks and, service were fine. The cool aviation theme as well as the views of aircraft taking off and landing help make this a unique restaurant you should try.
Rankyn Valverde
Our 1st time here. It was hard to believe we were inside Atlanta's perimeter. Food and service were very good, and the atmosphere very pleasant.
Todd Hawkins
This is a unique place. You can see the PDK Airport and planes taking off and landing. The food and pricing was reasonable. We had a party here and I am posting a picture of the fabulous cake, it came from another place.
Jan Arias
So much fun to visit here! It's a blast to watch the planes takeoff and land while you eat, and the staff is great!
Velissa De La Cruz
Love this place!! Been there several times now for lunch and the service is great, food is good, and the atmosphere is extremely unique!
J Brew
I love this place. It’s hard to find higher quality food at a similar price. And You can’t beat the atmosphere. Love Robert, Billy, Ashley and the rest. Try the salmon and Bunker salad. BRING BACK THE BLT!! :)
John Hawkins
Pretty good Service could be better but I think they are just short handed on a busy evening. Great patio on the side of the runway
Blake Ross
Liked the views, very attentive service, and good food. I was impressed by the service here, they humour you and attend to your every whim. The food was not exactly fresh-tasting, but it was nevertheless flavorful. A very unique experience watching planes landing and taking off. Well worth the trip to get here.
Theresa Sweet
Robert our waiter was very good, informative, cordial, & intentive. So glad you all have Robert, he was a pleasure! I always get the Bunker salad & beer cheese soup. Soup was great. The salad had quite a lot of lettuce that was black so I picked it out.
r s
I really enjoyed their mojito and their patio!
We went on a Friday afternoon and it was packed. We got a shrimp and chicken fingers appetizer and they were good.
The staff is really amazing and attentive and they stay busy, so I recommend being nice and patient and enjoy the drinks and the planes landing and taking off.

Amazing spot close to an airport, great WW2 memorabilia, good food, amazing Saturday atmosphere, put your fancing shoes on...had a great time.
Stephanie Davis
Went for lunch and had the best bacon cheeseburger I have had in a long, long time. It came with a mountain of delicious fries. The service was great. I really enjoyed my lunch.
David Williams
Amazing place. Brunch is incredible. Something for everyone. Food is always perfect. Great dinner location as well. Bar on weekends with music and dance floor to great to visit as well. Located next to airport runway. Watching planes taxi by is fun to watch
Allen C
Really unique and authentic dining experience. The ambience is warm and nostalgic, like a washed out photo. You can enjoy the view next to the airport near the window. Dance night seems quite lively and fun.
Andrea Kennedy
Everything was good except for the tartar sauce it was off. I love to dance there.
Brian Ozment
Amazing experience on a Saturday afternoon. We came for the children to see the airplanes and helicopters. It was not crowded and there were several other families with children. We had a couple sandwiches that were great. The fries are fresh made and the margaritas were on point. The kids loved it so much we're def coming back.
Deborah Hamilton
All the food was cooked well except for the steak and prime rib. Steak was undercooked and prime rib was over cooked.
G Williams
It had been years since I've been to 57th fighter group and much of it was as I remembered. I don't recall seating outside at the rear previously. The weather happened to be ideal so we sat out back and was a very nice experience watching the aircrafts.
The food was great, the service was ok as it seemed they may have been a bit understaffed and the waitress possibly a bit stressed due to it. While the food did take a while our party was not in a hurry and the food came out great.
Highly recommended.
Sandra Rae
I loved the place, enjoyed it, however im not giving 5 stars because we were a group of 10 people and the waitress ( Lizeth was her name) said she couldnt split the bills and was rude , seems to me that she was just lazy , next time i go im gonna request the manager because i would like to go back but i want to pay my own food without having to deal with separating money for 10 people , family was upset they all wanted to pay with their own cards, otherwise would have given the 5 stars.
Andrew Winch
Great themed restaurant. French WWII farmhouse taken over by the allies. This place is also right next to Peachtree Dekalb airport so you can watch all of the small and not so small planes takeoff and land. Most of the food is good but not always outstanding for the price but it is still a fun place to go for something different.
Frank Mercardante
Absolutely Amazing...My first time here and just had a blast. Friends took me...GREAT diverse crowd... GREAT music...drinks priced fair....decor was amazing....designed with attention to details... DELICIOUS FOOD. This was a GREAT experience. Danced the night away with great people. I think I have a new hang out now.
Scotsmon
Hands down one of my favorite restaurants North of Atlanta. The most unique atmosphere of any place I have eaten, and has wonderful food and service. Drinks are reasonable, sit out on the deck and watch small planes take off and land. You can even charter a bi-plane flight ... amazing!!
Dom Palmisano
It's a great place for a meal, and if you are into GS planes, you can watch all the planes taxi and take off right from you table window
Carne Mahone
Not go to go to buffet after 1pm. They stopped putting food out, aujus for roast beef was cold but our waitress was nice. Just didn't get our moneys worth for food options. But, the atmosphere was great for our group. Thank God for that otherwise I would give it a 2.5
Ross Higginbotham
Always one of my favorite places to come have lunch or a happy hour. Patio living all night long with the runway right next to the patio. Sit and watch the planes take off and land, enjoy a cold drink, and if it's cold, enjoy the fires.
Douglas Hale
It was a cool place to eat. I felt like I was eating at a place out of the Captain America movie. The food was good. I only wish they had a lunch menu.
Tom Paschall
Excellent WW2 themed restaurant. Great location and service. Highlights an amazing time in history with authentic photos. Great food as well. Recommend the shrimp creole!
Janelle R.
This is a super copl joint. So authentic to WWII. Robert was a great server, very attentive and joyous. The views of the airport were great and the sounds of the planes taking off & landing. I enjoyed the Creole Chicken tendera w/a side of fries. The hush puppies were also very tasty!
I do wish it was sans children, the parents didn't have any control of their offspring. LOL.
Overall, it is a great experience.
Carson Hammond
Cool place to sit down and look at. Food is good maybe a little over priced. Service was good.
Catherine Hopkins
OMG my family loved the brunch. There were 7 of us, and no one complained. The food was delicious and the waitresses we're awesome 👍. We do a monthly meal and it was my turn to pick the restaurant, I got an A+ . Don't sleep on this brunch, you will not be disappointed.
Jacob Palensky
Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. Love brunch, all you can eat. Opens at 11. Reservations can be taken; aren't needed but recommende. Place fills up fast. You can see planes take of from inside or get a experience like no other and on a sunny day sit out on the patio and feel, hear and watch planes take off from 25 yards out.
Sianon Bado
Went here for my dad's birthday and the staff was so nice and accommodating. The runway was dark so we couldn't really see any takeoffs but the planes taxied so close, it was good enough. The lounge area was jumping and everyone was having a great time.
Jarrett Kirby
Went for cocktails, super shocked at the size and atmosphere of this hidden gem. The place is located at the end of a quarter mile drive through trees and situated at the end of the runway for Dekalb County Airport, so at night watching the planes come and go is absolutely wonderful. Grabbed some cocktails and left pretty quickly, but there were people of all ages enjoying the atmosphere and dance floor. Definitely will be back for the full experience!
Kristine Bryant
What great atmosphere. The patio outside sits right beside a private airport strip and there is a spectacular view of planes taking off and landing.
The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. We didn't spend much time inside but there is a bar area, a dance floor and dining area. There is so much to look at and talk about.
We will absolutely go back
Jerry Timberlake
An excellent experience to bring friends, family, and coworkers alike! Definitely a relaxing environment and pretty fun getting to watch planes take off while you enjoy the delicious food!
Athziri Naranjo
Too much food, but good. Also if you want to have a great time at night... they have dancing every Saturday night. 100% recommend...
GREGORY WRIGHT
A very unique dining experience. Situated on a airport runway and designed to look like an WWII officers headquarters. This place offers good food and a great atmosphere. The service was excellent. The view was great. My family and I had a wonderful time.
Varunee Stewart
Fantastic food love being outdoors watching the airplane take off and landing
Hobart Hardman
Get a copy of your receipt. Twice the 57th lounge has charged MORE than the receipt. (I kept both reciepts, regular and tip receipt) I had to file a claim w/my bank. 57th has good food, to be a greedy scamming restaurant. And yes, I will go again! Ha! Just keepin' my receipts!!!
JessicaSings
The food here is soo good. The atmosphere is very special. So much wonderful memorabilia and not to mention the awesome site of watching the planes come in and go out on the strip as you eat.
Komphak Eng
Fantastic food and great view of rich people and their private jets!
Brooklyn Salazar
Was great for the atomsphere outside with the planes. Very spacious, had a delighted server. Many options of breakfast buffet. Only disadvantage was trying to call several times a day thru the week to make reservations. Hostess girls bit Unprofessional and rude telling us to come back another time when it wasn’t busy because they wouldn’t have tables available even though we were seated outside.
yeda77 Hicks
For three years I have driven by this place and every time I told myself that one day I need to go there. Well today was the day and I loved every minute of it. We sat outside and you couldn't have aske for better weather. Sunday Brunch offered a wide variety of tasty food and every thing I ate was flavorful. I truly enjoyed the planes and private jets going and coming and surprisingly we never got a whiff of jet fuel.
Our server was great and on task. There is so much history to see there, even in the rest room there were old news paper pages from 1944 on the walls.
Needless to say, I will not wait another three years to go back.
Claire Ross
Felt like an escape from Atlanta. Highly recommend sitting outside. Great, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Kayla Banker
Amazing food and atmosphere! Loved being able to watch planes take off as we are!
Darrell Cowan
We had a belated birthday celebration, and these folks didn't disappoint. Great food, and the service was awesome. Highly recommend these folks for your next get together.
bradley michael
Visiting sister from clt. This is a must visit place. Cool to watch planes. Friendly people. Food is great. Use of big green egg to cook. One meal was delayed and customer service was great. They comped it without us saying anything. Great patio. A must visit
Giselle Williams
Enjoyed this restaurant! Great food, the atmosphere is delightful, you can watch the planes land, and they have a DJ on the weekend. Definitely going back.
Akira Desrosiers
My daughters love it there. I decided to do a birthday dinner there for them. A table with a bunch of toddlers wasn't easy. The staff was so patient and understanding. I love this place.
J. L.
Amaizing place , specially if you love the aviation , you go found interesting this place because are decorating like time back
Miriam Hopkins
So enjoyed eating outdoors and watching the airplanes. Rob our waiter was great considering you were under staff and had a lot of people to serve.
Sherry Wagner
Trip to visit some friends he took us here for lunch. Loved watching the planes
chaz lowe
I visit here pretty late around 11o'clock pm, they close at 12. So was only there an hr.
Seems like a middle age to older crowd.they danced and had fun to 80s and 90s music. It was really a great happy atmosphere. Bartender was really good he made beautiful drinks and filled them to the very top of the glass and they taste great 👍
I didn't get a chance to try the food, but from what my friend and brother says, the food is simple amazing. I will go back to try the food because I like the energy in this place and I'm 50yrs old. You will have fun and you will be entertained. Hopefully I can come back and give the 5th star after I taste the food.
James Wilson
Wonderful experience,
Jennifer the hostess was such a delight and extremely helpful
Dion our server was amazing and so accommodating.
Parking was adequate and the establishment was beautiful and clean.
The food was delicious and I will definitely be returning 😋
Jay Hoxie
Good time food was great. They have air plane rides over Atlanta. Nice patio with fire pit
Larry Barnes (Sundance)
If you ever in Atlanta Georgia visit that place you will not you will not regret it had a nice little dancehall watch the planes take off and land very happy to see that.
Patrick Williams
The decor is authentic; my kids thought this place was really cool and could easily see the airfield from our table. The food was good but also reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the french toast and everyone else seemed to like their meals as well. Great spot for a Sunday brunch to meet with friends!
Carter Stanley
Cool vibe and location. Outdoor firepit on runway. Trivia on Tuesdays. The food just simply leaves a lot to be desired. We still go but not for the food. Kind of expensive to be honest for the quality but we love the atmosphere so we keep going.
Nate Harris
Amazing the 57th actually escorted my grandfather in WW2 so it was pretty cool. They also have a North American p-51 mustang on display in front if the building and when you sit down the taxi way is right there so the planes come within feet of the window. You can wave at the people in the planes. Great place to bring kids.
Liz Bean
Excellent service and atmosphere. Food was mediocre. Chicken tenders were extremely salty- my kids and autistic nephew wouldnt even eat them. We would not come back for the food. Maybe to drink a beer and watch the planes. We were potentially there at an off hour (3pm on a Saturady). Regardless food was bleh. Somewhat disappointing since I've been wanting to come here for 10 years. Oh well! Still had a nice time.
Barbara Wood
Food, atmosphere, and server great. Only trouble was customers that brought their noisy uncontrolled children. No one want to spent $50.00 for a wonderful meal out and be stressed by this circumstance. Totally ruined.
L3m0n_Dr0p
This restaurant is truly amazing! The food is delicious, and it has a nice view of the private airport there (especially if you sit outside)! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who are looking for a new restaurant to eat at. 10/10
Bhritane Young
You have to see it! If you’re into cool atmospheres then GO! The food is pretty good but I felt like the bread at the brunch buffet was boring and just meh. I didn’t care enough about the bread options to let it ruin my experience with the rest of the food, but if you’re one of those people that go to breakfast/brunch for the bread then skip this place or eat bread before lol. Either way the food is pretty good and I’ll go back again (and again). Note: even if you don’t do the brunch buffet, the food is pretty good (not phenomenal but worth the experience over and over)
Renee Huffaker
While visiting my Atlanta family, we took a break and had lunch here. We sat outside, so I can only review my experience based on outside dining. Food was good, service was great. I liked the atmosphere with the planes coming and going. Very nice. My granddaughter was entertained as she notices airplanes every single time she hears one. My son takes flying lessons here so it was very nice to see this part of his life that I haven't seen before. I will definitely come back when I visit. Sadly, I can't remember exactly what everyone ate due to my being completely caught up in my granddaughter, but there were no complaints and everyone made a happy plate!
Todd Merrill
Come early evening just before dark & sit on the patio with kids. They will see big and small airplanes taxi by and takeoff.
Come later on Saturday night for the bar and the dance floor. You'll see multiple generations dancing and having a great time with the DJ.
Still trying to figure out how to arrive via 21R & Park out front 😀. There are deep ties to PDK at this place...
Ken Stearns
Nice atmosphere very pricey since you've to pay for your sides $8:00 for mashed potatoes ! Service a little slow
Adam Hamilton
An excellent brunch location. As someone who loves airplanes, this place is a must. Next time I see my extended family, we are going here. My only complaint would be the food took longer than usual to arrive but not enough to cause a decrease in my rating.
John Smithe
Fantastic food and a fun atmosphere!! Think Johnnys Hideaway with awesome food! We had Prime Rib cooked on Green Egg Grill - excellent - all veggies fresh and the fires are hand cut and amazing!!
Mary Adams
This place is a haven, especially for the older crowd (at night) but also a great place for families during the day. 57th is right on the runway of PDK and has amazing views. Super fun vibe, great dance floor, great staff, great food and drinks!
Zeva Heart
Wonderful, unusual atmosphere right off the runway with a great view of takeoffs and landings. Nice Americana brunch and lunch choices. Cloth napkins, but casual service. My drink was only fair, but priced higher. Overall good experience for a first visit.
Jamie Morgan
The ambiance is really cute but the burger meat tasted wild and the chicken strip appetizer has a very odd taste... Really a nice place for a casual drink and dance though!
Tameka Harper
Ahhhhh-mazing!!!! The view!!! The decor!!!, The staff!!!! Wow!!! Wonderful dining experience!!! You must experience all of this!!!
Christopher White
Great atmosphere, outdoor seating right next to airstrip to watch planes land and takeoff. Kids will love it, after hours is a great place for a date. Ginger salmon is absolutely amazing. Drinks are well mixed, desserts are fabolous. Very unassuming from the outside but once you walk thru the old bunker, it's very nice on the inside. Service was great. Will definitely be back.
Vince Dawson
This place use to be the place to go to on special Sundays. While the serive is still great. The Sunday brunch is not. The choices are limited as compared to Brunches in the past.
It was worth the dri e from Easr Point, but not any more
I can get a breakfast with more selections from Golden Corral now.
It's true nothing stays the same.
Jim Holzmeyer
Enjoyed the WWII theming and watching the planes tak off and land. The 57th sandwich was tasty also
Steve Freitag
The flat bread appetizer was not my norm, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was really good!
Marcus Ballard
I had a wonderful dinner with my family last week. I had the Prime Rib which was one of the best I've ever had. My wife enjoyed her Bunker Salad with Chicken. Pam was our Server and she was on point the entire time. Knowledgeable on the menu and anticipating our needs. You don't find Servers like her often these days anymore.. We will be back to try the Patio out when it warms up. We're also interested in the brunch menu on Sunday that she mentioned. Love watching the planes coming in and out and the decor was great! We've lived in Atlanta for 17 years and never knew this place was here. Glad we found it!
Stefan Katz
went for Saturday night dance! Loved the laid back atmosphere on the dance floor!
Drinks were ok but not 5 stars! Food was pretty good!
Jeb Napier
I have been to this place twice now in the span of 10 years, it's interesting that it literally hasn't appeared to change at all in those two visits even through years apart. The food is decent, I would not say amazing or top notch. It's on the level of long horn, tgif, applebee's etc etc. My bill was $66 including two drinks and desert, plus one extra side. I felt it's reasonable. On the food we had alone it's 3 stars. I bump this to 5 for the environment and disco night dancing that happens after 8 pm. That was a blast and fun, highly recommend.
Shannon Kay
If you have the opportunity to come here, DO IT! Great atmosphere and staff! Drinks are awesome too!
tony mazza
Went with family before my daughter took a discovery flight at the airport next door. Service was good and staff was polite. Food was mediocre (not memorable for quality or lack thereof).
The experience was pleasant, but not one that will make me drive thirty miles to relive, although I may stop in again to have a beer and snack on the patio and watch planes take off and land if I'm in the area.
Sachin Misra
If you are into watching aircraft take off and with a drink in your hand then this is a great spot. Food is decent too.
Veronica Glenn
The food was ok. I have to say that I was a little surprised that for the cost of the brunch that mimosas were not included. Our server was not very attentive and they could have done a better job of cleaning the tables off once ppl were done eating to keep the hornets down because they were off the chain.
Lexi Lou
Food was pretty good but service was extremely slow
John Mulhall
This is a cool aviation/WW2 themed restaurant. Food is great, big windows overlooking the airport, and lots of history.
AHREE HUR
Good experience with my kid..
John Carroll
Excellent food! The shrimp creole was delicious and if you like a spicy appetizer, the Buffalo chicken dip was fantastic! I’ve ate at various restaurants all over the Deep South, but never experienced any better service than our waiter, ASHLEY, gave us. We had a party of 5 and she was always checking on us. She kept our drinks filled, without us even asking. She was very friendly and polite as well. We will be back again. THANKS ASHLEY!
Scott Allen
First time discovering this place May 21st. We live 60 miles away. Let me tell ya it's worth the drive. The food is excellent. The music and dancing is what got us excited about going after almost a year being stuck in the house due to Covid. This place is hidden gem in the middle of the city. The place is also packed so get there early. Everybody who works there is friendly, but the food you will really truly love. The Pot Roast sandwich is incredible. We loved it so much we drove back Saturday night. Omg the Catfish is fried to perfection, the thin cut french fries too. The burgers are delish with a side of Mac n cheese. Where else in metro Atlanta region can you eat a fabulous meal, watch airplanes just feet from your table
Andrew Simpson
The WWII theme here is real great, and if you like seeing planes take off and land the window view of the airfield is perfect. Really great steak and the fries were phenomenal, and their desserts were happily split among the table.
Amber Goins
This place is very cool great scenery as well. Try to sit by the window so you can really see the planes take off and land. The food was amazing we had the duck and the trout. I would say that the mashed potatoes could just be taken off the menu they were tasteless. The service was not horrible but it did get a little shaky when our server pretty much disappeared and snapped at me for ordering a drink from the bar she never heard, i guess she didn’t realize that they are known for the drink. Overall the food and atmosphere and drinks were amazing!
Alice L. Darr
Love the place! The food is great, especially their Sunday brunch. The shrimp bar is worth the price of admission! They have a full bar starting at noon, but the mimosas by the pitcher cannot be beat. The entertainment (the comings and goings of private jets and small planes) is great! They offer a variety of salads, breads, pastries, cheeses and fresh fruits. There is a carving board for roast beef, ham and occ roast pork. Omelets made to order are offered. There is also the buffet section with eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, sausage, crispy bacon, a fish and chicken dish. Grits, homemade cottage potatoes, green beans and carrots are offered. The dessert bar is heavy on chocolate and homemade ice cream with a variety of toppings is offered. Service is very good. Well worth the price.
Douglas Follmer
We made an appointment for brunch at the 57th Fighter Group Restaurant on Sunday. The brunch is not buffet style. Our family group of 7 was promptly seated when we arrived at noon. There was plenty of space and open tables on both sides of ours. The restaurant staff and servers wore masks. The table was set up with breakfast and lunch menus. Food orders were taken at the table, and prepared by the restaurant staff and served at the table. Our server Damon, (I think) did a great job taking care of everything we requested promptly. The food was good, and we had an enjoyable experience. I recommend the brunch for others
Marva Phillips
Went for Sunday brunch, they also have mimosas..Brunch was elaborate and delicious lolololol, from the lovely bacon to the beautiful banana foster waffles..with whipped cream...
We sat outside and watched the planes come in and out, they even offer plane rides over Atlanta..
There are sooo many choices, so just take small samples, see what you like and thennnnn....and thennnnn... goforit...Great place, Great food, Great time....
Lori White
Great food and atmosphere! I loved the WWII theme. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered the Prime Rib, which was cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only reason I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is because the handicapped stall in the bathroom wouldn't accommodate my wheelchair.
Cameron Boswell
Came for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. The nostalgia and atmosphere is amazing. Deon was our server and we were exceptionally pleased with both his service and his conversation. The food was amazing especially the salmon and 57 burger. Look forward to returning
Pam Blanton-Kilgore
Brunch at the 57th Fighter Group is divine. Ambiance is WWII bunker. You literally sit on the runway of PDA. Save room for dessert!
Andi Wofford
They hosted a private party for us after work. The wait staff was wonderful and very attentive. The appetizers were likewise wonderful, and we could watch planes take off from our private room. Only complaint was the heat in the room; it's August and it felt better outside than inside. Otherwise, wonderful experience.
Lynn “Ms. Pink” Pynckels
My husband and I went here for our anniversary and we weren't disappointed. It had been since 1994 when I was here last time and it has undergone a new owner and new life, thank goodness.
We had arrived about an hour early so we went and hung out at the bar. The bartender, Robert, was very nice. He was attentive, made great drinks and he knew when to give us space. The appetizers were wonderful and a decent serving.
Once the main dining room was open, we headed there. The only thing I would change if it was my restaurant is this, if someone tells your hostess that it is their anniversary, it would be a nice touch if she tried to find them a more private, possibly romantic table. Please don't sit us down right next to a large family, with kids, who are celebrating a birthday. Especially, when it's a Sunday evening and there wasn't anyone really there yet.
Otherwise, it was perfect. The food was amazing! The prime rib was perfect and their asparagus was absolutely salivating. Our dinner waiter, was attentive and very classy.
The atmosphere alone is worth a trip.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Tim Morris
This is an awesome restaurant. A great atmosphere and nice location. You can sit out on the patio and watch airplanes take off and land. Or dine inside and enjoy amazing food. The theme of the restaurant is cool and just a really nice place. I love to take people who have never been here and they all really enjoy the experience. I would highly recommend going here if you have never been. Or if you have you should keep coming!
Jake Hayden
A very unique place, surprised it took me this long to visit. The menu has a pretty wide range of stuff -- I had the shrimp creole and it was tasty. The staff was all very friendly and on top of things. And even if you don't care about planes, the runway makes it so you get a great view of the sky. Worth a visit for sure.
Samer K.
Very nice place to visit if you do not want to eat. Otherwise, you have to wait long for food. I placed my order 40 min ago, and still did not get the food!!!!
Gregory Francisco, II
We went here for Father's day and the food in the service was amazing. I didn't realize how many planes flew out of the airport every day. The 57th airborne sandwich was amazing at how you would recommend anyone who comes here to get it. The chicken and waffles are so good I'll come back again just for that. I love how the The french toast had cinnamon toast crunch on it for the extra crispiness. I'll be back soon and recommend anyone to come here.
Maridon Bradley
The drive from the main road to the restaurant is long enough to help you transition to another place in time, another mindset. We took our grandson for lunch on the patio where we could see the planes take off and land. Very pleasant experience, the food was above average with decent pricing. (I am writing this just after covid 19 restrictions were lifted). Will definitely go back!
Andrea Green
It's interesting -- good quality, basically seasoned pescatarian salads, small bites, steaks, chops, and such, tend to be called "American" fare. This is definitely that, with a sandwich menu added. The food is good, though pricey, but you do know what you are being served with no surprises. The atmosphere is perfect for the backdrop of the DeKalb Peachtree Airport.
So, if you come prepared to drop $30 on a single meal without the drinks, you will have no regrets.
Hae Hae
A friend and I came here for brunch and it was spectacular. Tons of food options- and that's saying a lot because we are both vegetarians! Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We got there toward the end of brunch but they continued to refresh all of the stations until after it was over. I want to recommend this place to everyone but I also like how hidden, intimate and cozy it is. I can't wait for my next visit!
Pro tip: save room for the beer cheese soup.
Kenneth West
The food is absolutely fantastic. Went with a party of 8 to celebrate our friends 50 anniversary. Every dish was prepared perfectly, and oh as tasty. We also had a great view of the runway to view the coming and going of all types of planes.
Rebecca Krygiel Capello
Awesome food and service! Highly recommend for a fun evening.
Scott Whitfield
We always enjoy going to the 57th. Easy-going atmosphere and a laid back good time. Our waiter warned us about the shrimp and crab cocktail being a bit cocktail sauce- saucy, and boy was he right. Everything else was totally as expected. I miss the duck dish out on the patio around the fire pits, with a bottle of Coppola wine. Ah well, another day.
Ashleighe Morgan
Anniversary brunch. The server was good but, he kept being reprimanded in front of customers after coming in on his day off.
DAVID GILLEY
We took another couple there for Sunday brunch and as usual we all ate too much. The service was prompt and our service was fun.
The food is good but not as good as you would find at many of the other fine dining restaurants in Atlanta. What was lacking in the quality of food was made up in the great views of the airport and the waitress.
Reasonably priced, it is a bargain for your family.
Stephen Cagle
We had a party of about 30 people and was taken care of very well. Food prices were also pretty good as well. My fried chicken sandwich and fries was one of the best sandwiches I've had. It truly was a good night.
S H
Nice old school spot in Chamblee. They play old school music on weekends and its great because people actually make good use of the dance floor.
Its nextdoor to a small airport so if you sit outside you can watch planes landing.
The drinks are strong and affordable, and the food is good.
Patz Mckatz
We really enjoyed the atmosphere with the window seat as the planes landed on the strip next door. The food not only was very fast but was tasty as well. Service was the best I have had in a long time. To top it off there was a lot of great dancing going on. Thank you for a fantastic night.
Steve H.
I loved my one visit here. If you order a steak, your plate will arrive with...the steak. There's no superfluous adornment or garnish. The food was well above average (with prices to justify that) and the service was simply mediocre. It was cold as Santa balls the night that we went, but the outside areas looked quite comfy.
We hung around in the bar/dance room after we noshed. Lots of people were having a fine time. I actually danced with my beautiful lady, the memory of which makes me smile. The older that I get, the less goofy I feel when doing things that used to embarrass me greatly.
I had a great evening here and would enthusiastically return.
Itamar Amrani
Great atmosphere. Such a fun & classy place. Friendly staff, with great food, great drinks & great prices. The nights are active for all ages in their club room with a DJ & dancefloor. Can sit outside & watch the planes take off & land. Just an overall great place.
Lisa Peterson
Food was fabulous. The Beer Cheddar soup was delicious. Service was a little slow but it was worth the wait.
Becky Self
We were in a fairly large party and it was a bit chaotic. They assigned two waiters, but one seemed to be doing the brunt of the work. The food was very good. I'd like to go again and give it a second chance.
Eric Jordan
I was fortunate to visit this restaurant this past weekend and I enjoyed everything from the food to the ambiance. It was full of WW2 paraphernalia which I found to be interesting. I had the stuffed salmon and it was delicious definitely a must try. My date choose to go with the NY strip with the Caesar salad in which she was very satisfied. I would definitely encourage anyone interested to stop in and give it a try.
michael carter
Overall good experience customer service environments have been there before on seven other times throughout my living here in Atlanta for at least 40 plus years with my parents friends and family and it's at the side of the airport runway so you can see planes taking off and landing
Myron Slater
The location is the best, watching the airplanes take off is an extra attraction. But the food is the star attraction, especially the Sunday Brunch. My family treated me to the brunch which had a great variety of breakfast and lunch dishes. Outstanding service and quality food, will be back.
Kevin Bogus
Was looking and hoping for a great dinner, great environment, and a little action on the runway to entertain the babies.
This visit was a grand slam!!!
Ann was our server and she was the best!!
She took great care to make sure the babies food came out first to keep them happy.
And we enjoyed a great time for Mother's Day!!!
Thank you for a great experience.
Tom
Parking was quite full in the afternoon. Didn't wait long for seating. Pictures on the web is not what is on the menu. Less menu items. Everything cooked to your taste. Be careful of your requested doneness. Wait staff is not attentive enough. Entrée only served with one side and an extra ones are $4. Everything is very tasty.

This is a hidden gem tucked away off Clairmont Rd in Chamblee. You can sit outside on the patio which is on the PDK airport runway and watch planes land and take off. Inside, there is WWII memorabilia and it has an old school relaxed feel. The servers and bartenders are all so nice. On weekends they have a dance party at night. Good music of all variety.
Alfonso Nino
Had a very good experience at this restaurant . The service was excellent, was even able to bring in our dog to be with us so did not remain in the car. Able to do this because the area was not packed with people at this time. Enjoyed the Food and Spirits. And if you sit on the outside you get to be right there by the runway for Peachtree DeKalb airport and get treated to aircraft taxiing and taking off.
James
Great food and nice people, I have a lot of wonderful memories here
rick Sharpe
Food was outstanding, memorabilia is excellent, cook was friendly and top notch. The waitress staff could be more congenial, they tended to pay more attention to locals at bar.
Oluwaseyi Adeniyi-Omoakin
This place is simply phenomenal! Every part of the restaurant is breathtaking for me from an artistic perspective. The service is great. The prices, friendly. And the atmosphere is simply astounding. Very, very beautiful view! You see planes take off and land as you enjoy your meal. It can also be an extremely romantic atmosphere. I just love every aspect of this place. Oh my goodness! :O
JP McConnell
The food was pretty good and they had a decent beer selection. They are right next to the runway and watching the planes take off and land was pretty cool. They definitely went all out with the restaurant's theme. There is a lot of really cool stuff to see everywhere. I'm looking forward to taking my toddler so he can watch the planes.
Rita Kent
Always fun at the bar, but too short on wait staff and high on costumers, as with many restaurants these days, equals an overall poor dining experience.
Tim Yuknavich
Food was good, not great. But the most outstanding thing of our experience was the terrible service. We ordered salads that never came. The server was impersonal and very distracted. When we brought this to her (and later the manager's) attention no apology was offered, only excuses. I hope our experience was an anomaly.
Melissa Blakely
Just had dinner here last night. I was plenty surprised by the food after reading some reviews. The decor was really neat (maybe worth going just to see it). The beer cheese soup was good (not amazing), the steaks seemed to be on the rare side from what you order them. The macaroni and cheese was incredible! The view was great - but we didn't see any planes during dinner. My only complaint was that the service was slow. The dancing after 8pm was impressive - I wanted to get my husband to dance, but after seeing all the pro's on the dance floor we were too intimidated to join them. Not sure if that's how it always is, but it was fun to watch anyways. Definitely an over-all good experience.
T John
They did a good job with our group of 11.
We sat outside and got to enjoy the planes flying in.
the DJ was nice enough to play a special request for my 6-year-old niece
I would have given five stars but some of the food was cold when it came out.
I raved to everybody about the macaroni and cheese and all were disappointed because it wasn't served hot
Charles Parker
Absolutely the best filet I have had in a long time, staff was awesome! Pretty cool place to visit but again steak was worth every penny.
Drew Summins
Great service, tasty food, good prices. What more could there be? You get to watch airplanes taxiing and flying by!!
Brad Walton
It was a great view of the airport (PDK)
Leo Fulleda
Beautiful place to hang out. Been going there for a long time.

Place is great! Food is always good! Amazing one of a kind military memorabilia! Atmosphere is unreal! Almost like you should have to pay admission just get in, thats how cool it feels in there. If you get a window seat you can watch planes take off and land on the runway. There is a separate area where there is a bar and dance floor. They have special dance events in there.
Scott McGrath
This place was SOOOOOO COOL! Unique atmosphere and awesome vibe. I'd say you'd spend roughly 80 for a meal for 2. So a little spendy, but also don't get the green egg chicken. It's just a hunk of chicken, get something fancy or the chefs special that day. I about melted over the food though. So good!
Edwards Properties
This place is great! Recently I brought friends here for the first time, and now they want to go back every time we get together. I had come for happy hour years ago, but never realized they also have amazing food and people. Anyone would enjoy the experience which is unlike any other in Atlanta - a unique old-school ambiance with planes taxiing by, outdoor fire pits, and a rockin' dance floor on the weekends. Strong drinks and top notch service. Big shout out to Ashley and Robert at back bar, who are the best in the business. We'll definitely be back soon!
Enlightened Lucy
There is such an Eclectic bunch of people that visit this establishment...And I say that in a very positive way. Everyone is so very nice. People say they have good food, that it's wonderful. I've never eaten there food. I've always gone there for the dancing.
W Gibbs
This place has an amazing vibe! There is a dining inside, bar seating, and outdoor seating that overlooks the runway. It is truly a unique dining experience and a must visit! The crowd is varied, ranging from young to old. The menu has a ton of different options--I had the cevichi and another member of our party had the prime rib and it was delicious. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Atlanta.
David Cross
Such a fun spot to go and dance on a Saturday night. The DJ plays a variety of pop, rock, rap as well as 70's and 80's music. The dance floor is always lively and is packed with people eager to dance the night away. We've never eaten here, but we hear the food is great as well.
Parking is ample, but can be a challenge if you do not arrive early. The crowd is mixed and all ethnicities as well as young and old come here for fun. If you're looking for a great place to dance and have a ball on a Friday or Saturday night this is your spot!!!
Ringo Davis
Interesting place for lunch or dinner. Lots of military decorations and photos. We had the 57th sandwich and a burger and both were very good. Watched a ton of planes take off and land while we were there.
L Clark
Visited this place for the 1st time with my Sorority Sisters! It was a nice atmosphere, buffet brunch had a variety to choose from, servers were nice
Drew Fountain
The decorations beside the entry-way from Clarimont is a museum of artifacts from old wars. Entering the building is also a moment captured in time and you're surrounded by artifacts and period pieces from wars. The entry has a feel of entering an officer's bunker ....55 years ago.
The staff here are usually energetic and enthusiastic. The atmosphere here is usually happy and spirited , although a few visits have been peaceful (let's say serene .. sounds nicer)
The food is high quality, and it's very well prepared,. The portion sizes are appropriate but not overwhelming.
The only reason they don't get five starts ... was the check. The prices are about 20% over similar fare in a 10 mile range. The experience is nice , and the food has always been "great" or "excellent". The food is good enough to justify a visit just to see the cool decor.
DJ Bellerose
This place is great for dinner. It's also great and we go after dinner for drinks and dancing. Great location and lots of fun.
Willie Garner
I went here for the first time with my family. I'm a vegetarian so I ordered the obvious "vegetable pasta." Fantastic! I can't speak for my family but my son ordered a NY Strip, well done but what we should have said, speaking from experience from other places, was "very well done as in no blood." So as he started cutting it he saw red meat. You know what I mean. We sent it back and told them to basically keep it on the fire until the red color disappear. We call this "very well done." Carnivores should enjoy this place. They also have kinda like a club area with music and a dance floor. Good atmosphere. It's very easy to drive by this place at night. Be prepared to make a u-turn.
John Maynor
I've been here once before for the buffet and I remember it being much better. A lot of empty trays, some food that was out was cold. They have a lot of selections, that is why I settled on 3 stars. For $30 I expect a little more. The food that was out and at the right temp was good. But for the atmosphere, and price I was hoping for, I expected more. Again I remember my first trip here a few years ago was much better, so maybe it is just kind of hit-or-miss.
Ian Walker
Came with family (we were visiting from UK) for a drink and to watch planes. Good selection of local craft beers and good. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice outdoor seatng/eating area. The inside space is also a nice environment. Aircraft themed place.
Linilla
Amazing outdoor Lounge with great airport view... the food is pretty TASTY!
Andrew S
Love this place! One of two spots to watch planes take off and land with food and drink directly on pdk. So far I found the food to be quite good and the staff to be quite friendly. It's a very large restaurant (larger than you'd probably expect after your first visit if you didn't explore the place) attend to find myself usually going to the bar area or outside area to the far left when you walk in the door on most of my visits.
Laura Peterson
I attended a business meeting of approximately 30 people here. The bbq buffet set out for us was wonderful. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed being able to feel the history of our nation. Watching the planes come and go was a bonus.
Dean Neitman
Unique place. Sits right next to a small airport and you can sit and watch planes come and go as you enjoy your meal. They have old military vehicles and equipment leading up their drive. Service is decent but I've found the food to just be average. Never had a bad meal but with so many food places around, I would say you come here for the views and atmosphere and not really the food.
Courtney Starling
One of the best places to eat with an amazing patio! The food is amazing but please beware if you get Ashely as your server...... One of the rudest servers i've ever encountered. Not only did she have an attitude but told our party we were in the wrong about what we ordered. We will most certainly be asking who our server is before we sit down next time! 4 stars for atmosphere and food but 1 star for service.
WANDRA HAMMOND
Not as large of a selection as I'd thought but the Prime rib was seasoned perfectly, as well as the Poblano chicken. Also the minature Banana muffins were hit at the table.
Jennifer Butz
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Make sure to sit outside to watch the planes.
Michael Suggs
I led brothers and sisters from my Christian Motorcyclists Association chapter in Chattanooga, TN to the 57th on Saturday, October 17, 2020. Taking the back roads and really enjoying the ride and gorgeous day led to some pretty good hunger pangs by the time we arrived. We were greeted at the hostess stand, which for first time visitors, could have had a little better indication it's location. Nevertheless, she was super nice and personable. We asked for outside dining and she pointed to the patio.
We were promptly greeted, had our drink orders taken and given a few minutes to look over the menu. Everything sounded delicious but I settled on the 57th sandwich. It was piled high with pulled/shredded steak with grilled onions and beer cheese and I had fries as my side item. By the time I finished, I thought I would need a wheel barrow to carry my belly back to the motorcycle. LOL. Needless to say, they do not skimp on the portions.
I definitely recommend this restaurant for some great casual dining and some awesome nostalgia. Maybe, when you visit, there will be more air traffic in and out of PDK. It was a slow Saturday for general aviation I guess.
Daniel Nogueras
Great good old fun here. Great food and fun times on the dance floor. They do themed dance nights that makes it all even more entertaining such as 90s dance or 80s dance. Want to have a great meal and the chance to burn the guilt, well this spots perfect. Enjoy
rjallen1
Robert was our waiter and he was amazing. So glad he took care of our table...food was amazing and everyone's order was excellent...thank you to the restaurant for getting us a table for 8 without a reservation...first time there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience...thank yoi

One of my all-time favorite restaurants! The food, the atmosphere, and the all around experience is stellar. My wife and I celebrated the 14th anniversary of our first date with the Sunday brunch buffet. Since my birthday falls on a Sunday this year, I'm thinking of possibly going back for the brunch again. Well worth it.
A F
Having grown up in the metro area, my family has come here infrequently over the years for the Sunday brunch buffet. Although it is still not bad and still has the familiar ambiance of having a nice view of the runway and WW2 historical vibe, the food quality/options from my most recent visit just weren't as good as I remember from past visits. Just as some points to note, the Sunday buffet back in the day used to include all-you-can-eat crab legs as well as champagne included with the meal (they now charge extra for it by the glass). I believe they closed up shop for a year and reopened a few years back, and since then it just hasn't been as good as I remember it being.
Bill Harrier
Got the Cajun Shrimp Boil with a Bunker salad. Had enough to take home for 2 more meals. New waitress seemed like a pro. Of course, a view of aircraft taxing by the windows is always a bonus.
Thu, Jul 15 for lunch
robert simonds
Our first visit. I was impressed with the portions and size of the steak and prim rib. Everything was delicious. The only problem was the waiter brought me the wrong beer. When I ask why he said they didn't have the beer I wanted. So he brought the lite version of it. This after i made it clear i didn't want a lite beer. He was a likeable guy but never apologised or offered to replace or comp the beer. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. We liked the way the place is decorated and location. The biplane parks right out side and we got to watch it change passengers and take off.
Todd Arthur
Outstanding food. Even better views of the runway. Best world war 2 decor I have ever seen in a restruant. Best beer cheese soup I have ever had. Average prices. Large portions. Staff dresses the part and couldn't be nicer. Would strongly recommend to others.
Janet Platter
Have eaten here before. Great food, love sitting outside and watching the old airplanes take off and land. Very unique. Keep up the great work.
Nicola Jackson
We enjoyed a nice after work outing. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Glen McDaniel
I went for Christmas lunch with a group from work. This is an interesting uber military themed restaurant with sandbags on the walls, Churchill speeches piped into the bathroom etc. There is an active airfield yards away and you can see aircraft take off and land. It has several separate rooms, a bar and a dance floor. I can see lots of possibilities for parties or a night out. We were offered the choice of a buffet or ordering from a limited menu. Our group had our own separate room so we could talk, exchange gifts etc without disturbing anyone else. The food was good and service was decent. It is a bit off the beaten track but is a "different" experience once you find it. It's worth a shot.
avaughnimous
Very unique atmosphere. DJ and live music on the weekends. Great patio area out back to watch the small aircraft taking off and landing at the airport. Food was excellent, but a bit pricey. Overall, a fantastic experience.
Stephanie Hart
Liked the motif. Food was decent. Glazed Salmon was good, but needs an additional side (like rice pilaf) as it looks lonely on the large plate. Had the Bunker Salad. Not a traditional house salad. Nice change. Hubby had 57 Sandwich with fries. Meal so large he had to bring 1/2 home. Crab Spinach Artichoke Dip was good, but over-powered by red pepper. By the end of appitizer I could not taste anything because of the heat from peppers. Music could have been more on point with decor (WWII Big Band would be more
appropriate). Paying for ambiance & view (very touristy). Enjoyed
watching the planes takeoff &
land. Pricing in-line with
business & tourism, but overpriced for family dining. Looks like an excellent venue for parties or special events. Great place for potential photo shoot. Overall enjoyable experience.
Pam Henry
Great atmosphere great service from Robert food was great plan to go back soon
Lucia Martin
Fun place. It definitely is a unique spot. Their WWII decoration will welcome you into a one-of-a-kind place. Food is good and the service very attentive. Not in many places you can see planes take off and land while you eat.
Lina Velasquez
First time at this restaurant and definitely not the last. The staff was very nice and helpful and showed us around before we picked our seat. The Mac and cheese was delicious and definitely good to pair with a mojito
Christian Rhodes
Someone once described this place to me as one of the most "unique" restaurants in Atlanta and I think they were actually right because I've never seen anything like it. I think I may have been a bit young for the average demographic, but everyone there seemed like they were having a good time. The food was only OK, but I think that's only a small part of the reason people go here. The evening crowd was....surprisingly vivacious. If you have even a passing interest in World War II history (which is the main motif of the whole venue), you should honestly probably experience it once for yourself, but be aware there is a dance floor and someone may try to pull you onto it.
Krystal
I wouldn't really come here for the food - more for the view of the runway and the atmosphere. It is a place you absolutely have to try if you've never been before- perhaps for a drink or the Sunday brunch. But their regular food menu isn't that great- kind of like bar food quality. It is a great place to just watch people take off on bi-planes and enjoy the weather.
Rivers Ludden
Great atmosphere and good beer! Watching planes take off and land, and having headphones to listen to air traffic control was neat. the photos on the walls were historic and would be worth returning just to browse. The dinner options are maybe 10%-15% over priced, but still great overall.
Tonia Lea
I believe they have the best Prime Rib ever!! They cook it on the green egg, and it was perfectly medium rare. The wine was good, the service was good.
We sat outside at the bar and watched the planes on the runway.
After dinner my friend asked the bartender to make Russian Quaalude shots. She made them without hesitating. After a few shots we were off to the dance floor. The best way to burn off all of those calories!
Brent Daily
Wife's work holiday party was held here this year. The building and location are amazing. The staff, food, and ambiance are perfect. This is our new go to spot when people from out of town want to go somewhere interesting.
An absolute must do in Atlanta.
Tom Chitty
The buffet was excellent along with the scenery made for a very nice lunch. Nicky our Server was outstanding.
Robert Kelly
Great restaurant and brunch buffet. Awesome space with spacious dance floor and DJ's playing good music. Good price om drinks and bottles of wine.
We like Friday nights, a little less crowded than Saturday. Show up early for first-come tables. The patio is beautiful and next to the taxi way. Spring and Fall they have fire pits going.
Pia Bhatti
Hidden Gem!! Loved the atmosphere and service. The steak was delicious!
Mary Kathryn
Super neat place! Definitely recommend sitting outside if the weather is nice. Staff was very friendly and attentive! Only minor complaint was the price of my drink was a little high for the quality of it. But def not a deal breaker for me!
Jon Waterbury
The reuben sandwich is delicious, and they carry many local brews. Service was great! Highly recommend.
Christopher Camacho (Kilvari)
57th is an interesting experience with a unique entrance. They have created a truly interesting environment that sets the mood long before you even reach the restaurant. WWII vehicles, a guard shack complete with gate, and an airplane all greet you before entering the restaurant. The entrance completed the image.
I made reservations at 57th for a late night Valentine's Day dinner. The table was ready and waiting for us when we arrived with a nice view of the airstrip. We did get to watch a few planes, which was fun. The lighting was perfect for the mood I wanted to set - casual yet intimate, disturbed only by one nearby loud table.
Service was prompt and friendly, yet polite. The server was able to answer most questions immediately. For the rest he consulted with the chef and returned with the details. I was impressed both with his knowledge and his willingness to seek answers he could not immediately provide himself.
The food was quite good, but not spectacular in and of itself. I had the stuffed trout, which was tasty, and the Redneck Caviar, which didn't live up to expectations. My lady seemed to enjoy her dinner as well.
All in all, I'd recommend it at least once for the unique experience. Whether or not it becomes a regular spot for you will depend on your particular inclinations.
Spencer Adams
Went for the holiday brunch with a party of 6. Overall I was satisfied. Lots of options to choose from including a make your own waffle bar and an omelette bar. Being able to see planes take off and land was fun as well. Our waitress was amazing, very on top of things and able to keep up with our high demands (sorry about that, my family is nuts) and everyone else she had with a smile on her face. The place was clean and the personnel looked professional. 2 issues. 1st they have a swastika hanging in their entrance... I get it, it’s suppose to go with the world war 2 pics but not the most politically correct thing to hang. My family and I were a little put off by it. 2nd why have me make a reservation if you’re going to take 30 minutes to seat me anyway? Probably should have advertised it as a first come first serve type of thing. Anyway it was overall a good experience. I’d just consider changing your decorum.
sonya romines
Great food, fun theme, classy.
Michael Sylvester
This is our probably our favorite place to go for brunch in the area. We used to live in Chamblee, and would go fairly frequently. Now we live farther away in Duluth, and we still make a point to go several times a year. Staff is great and food is wonderful. I love the prime rib! Come hungry!
Jillian Adams
Made a reservation. Were not ready. This was do to a party who stayed an hour beyond expectations but they had no real way of dealing with it and were not great with communication. In the end though, they gave us some money off. We unfortunately were rushed through brunch as the additional hour wait pushed us to the end of brunch. Additionally brunch was not what I expected for the cost. Seems like a fun relaxed night spot though.
Rebecca Bussert
This is a unique favorite spot. They have great food, moderately priced, and a fantastic HUGE brunch buffet on the weekends that's well worth the +/-$28 cost. The dancefloor is hopping on the weekend nights, too! You can watch the planes take off here, which is best in the summer on the patio.
Ian Douglass
Very unique spot for lunch that offers good, solid food but nothing fancy. I live their farmhouse salad with the fresh cheese on it. If it's a nice day, grab a table outside to watch the planes coming and going at DeKalb Co. Airport. Gets a little wild at weekend nights with the older crowd which is a fun sight to see. Definitely worth a trip if you've never been
MsJaykwellen
Amazing food. Very cool decor. Great spot for large groups. Definitely go on Sunday for their brunch. It's buffet style but there's tons of options! I especially liked the Salmon Frittata, Homemade Ceviche, and the danishes!!
Jean Price
Loved the soup, desserts, the bananas foster was to die for, and mimosas were wonderful. The meat dish, was a little chewy, seafood a bit overcooked. The servers were excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. I would try it again but not for brunch.
Joe DiCarlo
This is our all-time favorite restaurant. Great food, pretty good service, and great atmosphere. In good weather, we sit outside on the patio. The restaurant is literally next to the taxiway at DeKalb-Peachtree airport, and you can watch flight operations while you eat. I'm a former Naval Aviator and this a real treat for me. You'll see all kinds of aircraft from antique single-pilot to multiengine military. Go for the food and the views.
chelseas21
This place is big enough to get you a few of your favorite kinds of dinner atmospheres. One area has a few bar tops with an open area for dancing as well as a huge patio to watch airplanes take off and land at the adjacent Airport. This area has a weekly trivia night and happy hour specials and music. Another area has an additional bar top which is quieter and more intimate. Additionally it features several large rooms for private parties or events.
If you're tired of being inside you can also make a reservation to take a flight on an old era plane which looks awesome! Approaching the property is quite a sight too. They were very thoughtful when creating the World War II theme for this restaurant and the property. It's actually quite charming.
You've got to come see this place!
John Capps
This is such a fun spot. If you have kids, or young nieces and nephews, take them here for a quick bite and to watch the airplanes take off. If you don't have any little ones, or you just want to have a nice adult night, this is a cool places to grab a bite, listen to live music, and even get on the dance floor a little bit. Check this place out!
Claire McCann
It was okay, more an occasion to see work colleagues than a high expectation of the food. I couldn't believe there were no mashed potatoes or any rice as sides on the buffet to go with the fish and vegetables. Sweet potatoes don't work to round that off, as they are more like a dessert. In addition, the food was barely warm. I guess doing the lunch buffet day in and day out gets monotonous for the chef, but he'd do well to remember that, especially during the holiday season, many companies are gathering together for that special annual meal. It needs to be better than just so-so....
Tom Walsh
What a wonderful luncheon buffet especially for the holidays. Excellent food very tasty great service. Our server's name is Richard and he did a wonderful job as did the rest of the staff. Great place great food good views of the airport come on down the beer cheese soup was to die for.
William Moore
Excellent place with planes. A bit pricey but worth it. They sometimes have groupons and living socials that help alleviate the cost. I went with my ex girlfriend for Valentines Day. I absolutely loved watching the planes take off and land. Great atmosphere, kid friendly and amazing food.
Larry Primus
The grand kids back to school dinner ages 2 1/2, 13, 19 we had a family prayer the restaurant outside had vehicles of the around about it from the forties the inside decor sand bags like they had in a bunker dance floor good seating arrangement inside and out very good view of the small planes taking off and landing all enjoyed it and the food was 5 star quality without second guessing we are spreading the good news about this place a very well hidden treasure
Anisha Patel (Anisha Guru Patel)
As a restaurant this place is great. My 3 stars are because we went on a Sunday at lunchtime. They had a buffet brunch. We very specifically told the hostess that we are vegetarians and if there weren't enough choices we would skip. She assured us there were without giving specifics. For the price it was very disappointing experience.
Ellie Marie
This is my bar of choice. I love coming here. I have not "dined in" yet so I could not speak to food quality but it's a fun place. I would love to go on a guided tour and get into the history. A very unique, hidden joint. I've met nice people here. Chuck and Bill are great.
P Mukora
OMG .... the decor, theme, props, pictures, ambience is awesome. Historical pieces that tell a tale - both indoors and outdoors.
Food and service was great.
DJ was fantastic .... danced all night. The dance floor is spacious and packed with friendly people .... out having fun.
Customers were diverse by age (20's to 70+) and by race/ethnicity/cultures .... a really neat melting pot.
Get there early as 'last call' is around midnight
Chinaro Chukwu
Really nice atmosphere. The historical setting makes the dining fun. You can also oversee PDK airport and see planes landing and taking off. The food is very tasty. I've dined at this restaurant about 6 times and the food has consistently tasted supurb.
Sharon Pogue
The service was really good, food seasoned well, and watching the planes fly in and out was a lot of fun. The atmosphere was really nice. There was even a dance floor to with music for all genres. Thank you so much for a place I could bring my family or just have date night with my hubby.
Dustin Speckhals
I found this establishment while on a business trip in the Atlanta area, and found it to be one of the most unique settings for a restaurant that I have seen. The whole property is a sight to see: relics from a bygone era, replica aircraft dotting the landscape, and an overall visually thrilling place to dine at. The cuisine was a little sub-par for me, though. Everything I had tasted good, but I feel like the value wasn't there. I had a sirloin steak that was cooked how I wanted it and tasted great, and garlic mashed potatoes that were good, but nothing special. I would visit again, but more for the scenery than what I eat.
Beaker Tincher
Good atmosphere. Food is high quality and mostly tasty. Drinks are strong, but lacking in flavor.
Brad Kilpatrick
Great service and good food. I can't wait to go back.
Christine Bong
Dance every Friday and Saturday
Robert Sarkissian
I love the uniqueness of their menu. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. And sitting outside at the runway level of PDK dreaming of having your own private jet one day is a great experience
Stephen Scouten
Food is decent. Love the location right at the end of the PDK runway. Fun little spot to grab a drink. Definitely an older local crowd though. They have dancing on Friday nights which is funny and a decent brunch on Sundays.
Linda Morris
Service was good...ambiance is unique and fun...food left a bit to be desired. This place could be awesome with an improvement in the food. It's cool to be able to watch the planes come and go.
Thom Sukalac
Love meeting friends here. Excellent patio.
Randal Moss
This is such a treasure. Good Food and solid service. Best part is the view.
Cadi Tierney
Atmosphere was wonderful!
I had a salad, which was really fresh (spinach, strawberries and walnuts).
Must have gotten our server on an off day. Other than that, I would go back.

I can take the bad with the good and this place was both. I showed up alone on a Friday night about 7:15 p.m. A couple walked in just ahead of me and were seated immediately. While I was waiting for the hostess apparently something went wrong with that couple's seating arrangement and they returned to the reception area. I asked (manager? Owner?) for a seat by the window so I could watch the planes land and take off, but was told that since every seat is a window seat every view would be good.
The hostess returned. I repeated my request. She said there was a reservation for the table right by the window for a party of four. I pointed and said, "oh that one?" She said, "yes." I was then seated at a booth probably 25ft to the window. Decent view.
The couple who had just come in before me was quickly seated at the table by the window I just pointed to! The only other table by a window in that dining room was a four-top. I left about 8:15 p.m. and no one had used that table yet.
The waitress Patrice was nice. She seemed knowledgeable. The atmosphere was unique in many different ways (airstrip view, all ages, history, dance floor, bar, patio, dining room).
The food was average. But it appeared reasonably priced. I wish they had offered me a seat out on their gigantic patio as it was a mild night. But they never presented that alternative, even after expressing interest in being closer to the action. That disappoints me.
I would probably go back to give it another chance. But I would go with other people who were visiting from out of town as the experience is unique. Three stars because it had pros and cons. With tip I was out of there for $42.
Hanalei Oneal
Awesome food and drink! Prime rib was amazing! Had sooo much fun! Mardi Gras masquerade. Dancefloor and music all night!
Amanda Kandasumbu
They managed to fit a party of 11 in for myself and my SO's family could meet for the first time. It was incredible! The service was wonderful, and the food was beautiful and equally delicious. I want to personally thank Mr. Epps for keeping this restaurant running so amazingly. It was a day that I will never forget.
Matt Easley
Classic restaurant and bar with a cute WWII fighter wing theme. Food and beverage options are good. I love how they support the local dance community on many Sunday evenings. I try to try something different every time I am there and haven't been disappointed yet.
Karen Peterson
Excellent dancing for folks of a certain age or younger, no cover charge, no cigarette smoke (unlike Johnny's Hideaway 🤢) Terrapin Hopsecutioner in a can just $4.50. I'm told the food is also good, but I've only been there to dance …

The Fried Shrimp is perfection. The shrimp is just right, served hot and yummy! We have to order this on every visit! The 57th Fighter Group is one of our favorite places for a family or work get together. On our last visit there were 10 of us , there to celebrate all of us having received our 2nd COVID shot 2 weeks ago. We were seated in a room by ourselves. Our server was on point, and the food was great.

Beautiful atmosphere, great food. Brunch was delicious.
Janice Phillips
We had a fun night. Food and dining service was good. Sat outside next to the fire pit for after dinner drinks. Music, laughter, and good conversation. The dance floor was hopping. We watched planes taking off and landing all night. Fun.
Robert Hoffman
Came for the Sunday Brunch, and must say it was one of the top brunches I have ever had. Great food selection and all the choices were absolutely delicious. Atmosphere has a really cool old school feel and it was fun for the family to watch the planes takeoff and land right out the back window.
Ambers Glenn
The food was good. The outdoor atmosphere was great. It was a bit pricey for the variety of food. $30 buffet brunch. I'd like to see more food for the buffet.

As a former employee, this review is more streamlined to discuss how it was to work there. I worked there for a very short time. Ultimately I lost my job for two consecutive 'no call, no shows'. Although I was given the opportunity to prove the reason for my absence (a weekend getaway at one if the areas finest county jails), I opted to take advantage of an opening to leave. Run as far away as I can from the Chef/General Manager, 'Greg'. This guy is wound up so tightly, it's surprising he doesn't fall over and have a coronary. He is a very angry person. He berates employees in plain view of other employees. He walks around with a chip on his shoulder. If this man hates working there, he should leave. The food from what I saw there was definitely top notch. Some sanitary standards need be improved. The poor guy they have working on the fry station is gonna get someone sick. He's very new to the culinary world and hasn't been shown properly the ins and outs of safe food handling.
The Yoga Chick
We took my mother in law here for brunch and were absolutely happy. The restaurant looks like it's situated in an old fighter bunker and it's right on an air field. The kids loved it because we sat near the window so we could watch the planes take off and land.
There are a few breakfast stations and there are cheap mimosas. There is also a customized bananas foster station and an omelette station. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.
The bill is going to be a little costly but the food and the experience was worth it. I'd recommend making reservations because they were very busy when we went on a Sunday morning.

A nice place for small groups to meet. Really nice variety of food. Wish they had a better way to navigate the lines though. A hidden 💎 …

Simply the best! Dinner menu is awesome but lunch definitely good too. Love the atmosphere, and watching the planes come and go. Food is always delicious, especially the braised collards.
James W
Great place to dance! Nice fire pits to hang out buy as you cool off. Fun place to go on a Friday or Saturday night. There's also a restaurant attached to this but I have never been to the restaurant part only the dance bar
Stanley Lewis
Great restaurant that I strongly recommend. Best affordable 5 course meal dining in the city. It is also directly across the street from my Allstate insurance agency on Clairmont Road in Chamblee. The Stanley Lewis Allstate Agency LLC.
Robert Sands
The food is good but not 5 star. What makes this a 5 star is the feel of a WWII airfield crossed with an English pub. Watch aircraft taxi by and takeoff/land.
Jon Schnaubelt
Cool atmosphere - you can sit about 50 ft from the tarmac and watch the planes take off but the food is pub grub at best and the beer selection is sub par. Come to hang out on the patio and drink domestics. Anything else will likely be disappointing.
Tim Young
It's a nice diversion from the normal milieu of dining here. Indoor and outdoor by PDK Airport. Jake is an excellent bartender. Good food, too!
Kimberly Brown
We never have a bad time going here. Friday and Saturday nights the dance floor is crowded with older individuals but still fun. Sunday brunch is a great deal and the availability of options are almost too much. There is something for everyone, even the picky eaters.
Nunya Biznes
This place is so awesome!! You can take a biplane ride and you can hear the tower giving info to pilots while you eat! Food is incredible! Hidden gem for sure.
Susan Henesy
Had mother's day brunch. Food variety average. Ham carving excellent. Prime beef tough. Service staff great. Quincy and Tommy! Prices reasonable. Bad intermittent weather, saw some, planes ,decor excellent!!
Sarah Beauvais
Excellent dancing! Vintage lodge atmosphere. Lots of cool photos of veterans from World War II. DJ is very opened to receiving request so you can dance any type of dance you want.
BJ
I've been here on 2 separate occasions and both times were really good. The chef I think is from Louisiana and I made it a point to go and speak to him about the food being really good.... The parking and ambiance 👍🏽 very good.... Plenty of spaces for Instagram or photo ready backdrops.📸 …

The price and service was fantastic. My girlfriend loved her corned beef Reuben and fries. I loved the ginger salmon and collards! The view of the planes from our booth was amazing. We even had our adrealine rush alittle bit seeing planes take off and land.
Bhagi Muppala
Food is okay, but the view on the patio is hard to beat!
Update: Since Covid, there's a new Chef and the food is now excellent. Had the 57th sandwich, spinach artichoke dip beer cheese soup, and reuben sandwich so far.
Marie
Love this place for so many reasons, atmosphere, services, safety and especially a place to dance and eat. I never not have a great experience, the staff are all very welcoming!
George Jacob Houghtaling
I have lived in Atlanta for 25 years and have always wanted to come here. I finally made it and was pleasantly surprised. I had the salmon and it was delicious! Situated right at the Peachtree Dekalb Airport, there are several windows which allow you to see the planes taking off and landing. My only complaint is that the meals are not substantial enough if you are real hungry. Great place to come with friends after you’ve had some light appetizers.
Robert Genecy
Great space and location next to PDK airport. NIGHT LIFE: The DJ is always good, big dance floor and good food and drink. I like to get a bottle of 14 Hands (red), very reasonable price. Love the fire pits
BRUNCH Watching the planes land and takeoff is really cool. Good menu. A Mother's Day must.
Marco Eshraghi
Rolling in you see old military trucks and Jeeps parked by the side of the road, when you finally pull up to the restaurant you are greeted by a majestic P-51 Mustang fighter parked out front. Then you enter the bunker that opens up to a view of the airport! Order with the friendly staff and in no time you'll be in food heaven. Great restaurant!
Tricia Agan
Delicious dinner here last night, along with excellent service from Quentin, our server. Great evening and fun time to visit with friends while watching the planes take off and land. Highly recommend!
Lori Wins
Great outdoor ambiance. I like that the tables were spaced out enough in our area that I didn't feel crowded by other guests. We also did not feel rushed to dine and leave immediately and were therefore able to enjoy some time dancing. The fare was good and the prices were fair.
Andres Abou kheir Massaad
Amazing Restaurant to be in family, and also I like the history that are in the place... food are really good
Patrick Tansor
The Sunday Brunch was the perfect treat for my daughter. We booked a reservation before 11am and were able to get a window seat. Bryan and Vicki were the team of servers and they took great care of us. If you are interested in gorging yourself all day, then look no further than this all-you-can-eat brunch buffet. The real treat is all of the take-offs and landings from the airport runway right outside the restaurant. The decor was a nice touch as a former army brat that was posted in the European Theatre with my family back in the day. All the little touches make for a quaint experience. Very friendly atmosphere from all of the staff!
Jacquie Roch
I guess I should have take a picture but didn't think about it. Food was excellent, NY strip was delicious, love burgundy mushrooms and lemon cake tender. Staff are working hard and fast, really friendly. To the Chef, Big Bravo.
Marilyn Babij
Love this restaurant. Food is excellent and people are friendly. I could spend half a day looking at all the memorabilia. Watching the planes land is cool too.
E L
Veggie pasta, salmon souffle, mashed potatoes asparagus were excellent. The chef the day we were there didn't know how to cook a steak though. NY strip ordered medium rare. First attempt was beyond medium well. The second attempt was between blue and rare. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very interesting and I would recommend it. Just not the steak.
Debbie Karai
Great food and wonderful view of the planes taking off and landing.
Jill Bradberry
Awesome food, great atmosphere! Outdoor fire rings on the patio at night are very romantic to watch the planes land. Loved the WWII theme. Planning to go back to go dancing.
elliott humbert
Took my family visiting from out of state here on a Saturday night. There were eight of us while a large event was going on. Had no problem fitting us in. Service and food were great! Will definitely be back! Pork tenderloin was out of this world!
Brandon Lord
Sunday brunch is good, but not great. It’s probably just a sign of the times thing, but it seems much smaller now than it used to be. Regardless I walked away far and happy!
Kenneth Libbin
Food was great but the thing I loved the most was the ambiance. I felt like I was in a military club from WWII. Service was great. And if you like watching the planes take off and land there's no better place to go.
Deborah Fox
The atmosphere was very nice. I enjoyed the mac and cheese.
Carlene Cooper
This place is great! The manager, MJ, was so generous to our group of 27 and our waiter, Robert, was AWESOME! Food was very good so we're going back!
John Caldwell
A great theme restaurant. You can watch planes taking off and landing while dining. Very good food at reasonable prices for lunch or dinner. You can experience WW2 aviation including the Battle of Britain. Go!
Janet Limyansky
Great mandarin salad with grilled shrimp. They did forget the pecans. Great cheese soup and steak salad. Fairly quick service as well.
Robert Smith
We held our grand mothers 90th birthday party there today. The staff was great. We ate off the menu for around 20 bucks per person. (no booze). Our waiter, Curtis could not have been more helpful. Mike S.
Brian Berger
Absolutely wonderful venue. All ages welcomed and the music is great on their dance nights, which are why I love to go. Their food is also very good. Quincy is a very friendly server.
marta Novoa
The only flaw was the receptionists at the time could not see my reservation for 30 people and confirm the time. The food was amazing foot the buffet. Remember gratuity is included in your bill. Check carefully unless the waitress did an awesome job than add extra tip.
Samuel Moore
Awesome food and ambiance. Huge portions!
Jessica Holt
I worked here almost 20 years ago as a bartender. Hands down this was the best job I have ever had! The food is amazing, awesome staff, and we had a Stern but fair manager. I miss bartending there! I am going back to ATL in January for a visit and trust me I will be outside watching the airplanes next to a roaring fire just enjoying life!!
Sandee Parks
Getting a reservation for a group of 12 was an ordeal. We had to call 6 times, then they called to confirm for the wrong date! The food was average. They gave us one server for the entire table. Service was terrible. We will not be going back. They definitely need to have a management upgrade.
Michael
UPDATE:
Brunch review - 4.8/5
Begrudgingly had to come back here for a birthday celebration and had low expectations. Supposedly this restaurant was known more for their brunch so there was hope.
Well, it was literally a night and day difference! The brunch is actually quite good with a wide selection of meats, usual items, and desserts. The waiters were spot on and do not make you feel like you have to cringe. The ones that served us was actually a delight. Waters were always full, even within minutes of getting empty. My pregnant wife even found things she'll eat! I don't know what happened for our dinner that made it a bad experience but the hype for the brunch is real.
Will definitely come back for brunch. Well done.
Upgrading the review to 4-stars.

Previous Dinner Review
This restaurant had a lot of neat things going for it. The atmosphere, the planes, the nice relics on the walls. For some reason however the experience in the end left much to be desired.
We were about 5 minutes early for our reservation and we had to wait a little at the bar for our table. Not even 2 minutes of standing and waiting by the door, a waiter shoved my wife into me and I almost fell over. I brushed it off, thinking maybe she had a bad day but what really soured my mood was that there was not even an "excuse me" or a "pardon me" or even a simple sorry... wow.
Going on. We ordered our food and the waiter had a personality of... to quote a yelp reviewer, "an unfrosted miniwheat". I understand she was trying to be helpful and informative but everytime she talks everyone couldn't help but cringe inwardly as if a puppy was being run over by a monster truck and then reversed back and forth. It all felt really forced. Still left a good tip because she still tended to us well. Just maybe be a little more natural please?
The food. Trout good. Steaks... just like every other restaurant, you ask for medium-rare, you get medium-well... except on a NY Strip as that's the same as asking for a tire and that's rather disappointing because the most expensive items on the menu were steaks. Not to mention the glaze. $2 extra for something that tastes like a powdered mix. It probably was... And then there was the Salmon Souffle... which by their definition was a whole baked salmon steak with possibly some egg, cheese, parmesan, and a little bit of herbs on the top. I'm sorry, that is not a Souffle, maybe try reading some french cooking books? We asked the waiter if she was sure that was a souffle (to which she said of course!) and of course another puppy probably just died underneath the tires of a monster truck.
Well, this was a bummer. I've heard good things about this restaurant but this was a bit underwhelming. Definitely loses on the price for food quality and staff is either rude or forced. Granted it's Father's Day and it was busy which I did not review on because it would be unfair to note we waited 47 minutes for the entrees to come out.
Don't think I'll come back anytime soon.
Well, maybe if I ever feel compelled enough to look at planes taking off again but that's what flight simulators are for.

Sitting out on the patio was great. Our waiter was great. I however selected something on the menu that they didn't have that night, so I made a second selection and they did not have that either. Food was good.
Olga Matacota
Nice place, good music n nice dance floor, but the a.c. was out
Elton Ferdinand
This is by far some of the best food I have ever tasted in my life. The idea and concept of flight applied to food is genius. It is definitely on my list of things to do in Memphis. To be honest, I might just come back for lunch and then breakfast again tomorrow. Flights should be everywhere. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 …

Visited on the 31st of March. Cool, cosy atmosphere, decor, planes taking off and landing; staff friendly, but. Never in my life have been greeted like here: the girl at the desk was rude, off handish, didn’t crack a smile, showed us a table as we were a nuisance or something... about 2 am, on Sunday, and we had 13 year old with us. I was gobsmacked, but not in a good way...
Faye Batwin
The food was excellent and I would have given it 5 stars if not for the upkeep of the pavement in front of the restaurant. There is a lift in the pavement and on the way into the restaurant I tripped landed on my face my right hand and my left knee. This was last Saturday night and I am still sore. Our server brought me Band-Aids for my hand that was cut up and bleeding but my knee is still swollen and achy and I look like I took a fist to my right jaw... It is so black and blue and makeup is not hiding it. I would definitely warn people about this incident if they plan on dining there. I would definitely consider coming back next time I'm in Atlanta but I would hope to see this pavement fixed. this is very dangerous and you could be looking at legal problems in the future if it's not repaired.

I love this place. The food, the atmosphere, the drinks and the people. Never a disappointment. I even enjoy brunch on Sundays with super cheap mimosas. Bonus to watch the planes land and even ride in one yourself!
Travis Noote
I've found what I've been searching for to eat, dance & socialize! Wonderful service and great atmosphere, coupled with a super bar staff & varied music. All ages represented on the dance floor and on the speakers. I'll definitely be back!

I always have to visit this place when I am in Georgia. The resturant is right next to the runway. I enjoy watching the airplanes take off and land. The grandsons love it too. Very family orientated. The food is really good

Lunch out on the veranda at 57 the Squadron was perfect for us. Alfresca dining under an umbrella enjoying the breeze and the fabulous shrimp appetizer with my Bloody Mary!!! John, our waiter, was most accommodating!!!!!!!!!
