As a first timer I enjoyed my meal! Everything was perfection (to me). On the other hand my significant other, who doesn’t enjoy spicy food thought that his shrimp, in the shrimp and grits were very spicy. I wish that would’ve be notated on the menu before ordering. I enjoy spicy things and tried a shrimp which I don’t normally call things spicy, thought that the shrimp were indeed a little spicy. And the amount of grits you get for that price is a little ridiculous. Service was great! Atmosphere was nice. I will return, but unfortunately he will not.

I love this restaurant I’ve had good experiences every time I visited here. It’s very popular so of course it’s always busy no matter the time you go so there will be some sort of wait but depending on the time it might be 15 minutes or it might be 40 minutes or more. All the times I’ve been here the food was good & the drinks have been good too. It is a New Orleans style restaurant so some of the food is spicy & it is expensive but that’s expected. Since it’s always busy everything is fast paced from sitting you to taking your order to getting your food delivered to your table. The atmosphere inside is amazing, the staff is friendly & you get your money’s worth.

Pappadeaux is a well visited seafood restaurant in whatever location they may be. However, today we had a problem with our food, first one of us and then another. Normally, the food is well prepared and very tasty. With the second mention of the food being too salty, the manager visited our table. Ms Lena was very apologetic and offered us a salad or soup and credited our bill. Our server, Ms Destiny, was very professional and courteous. Even with today's issue, I will be visiting Pappadeaux again. Being a travel professional allows me to share with others.

This was my first time coming here. The food was absolutely amazing. I barely ate anything on the platter and I was full. The seafood platter was incredible. Our waiter was incredibly nice and was on top of everything we ordered. The food came out fast as well! A little pricey, but definitely worth it!

My first time here and I wasn't disappointed! The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and didn't let empty/dirty dishes sit on our table for 2 minutes! The food was outstanding, flavorful, fresh! There was an hour wait for our table but the time went by quickly. Excellent selection and highly recommended!!

We ordered calamari for an appetizer ans they had the legs!!! My favorite part, cooked very well, not at all chewy. I had crispy salmon, shrimp and scallops with sautéed spinach. My husband had fried oysters, red beans and rice and fries. My food was cooked perfectly, the scallops basically melted in my mouth, the shrimp I personally would've liked maybe 2 more minutes of cooking time, but it was still good and the salmon had a medium rare cook which I don't usually like, but the way they cooked it with the crispy exterior it was amazing! The food was seasoned well and everything was great. My husband's oysters were perfectly breaded and seasoned, not too thick a layer of breading and fried to perfection crispy outside, gooey inside. The fries were good too, my husband said the red beans and rice were real good. We got cheesecake for dessert that was great, we took it home to eat.

Service - EXCELLENT
Food - Average (Trout, Shrimp, Skewers, Calamari, Crab & Spinach Dip)
Trout x 2 - Filleted yet full of bones. Bland. Very unappetizing. I couldn’t enjoy it because every fork full was bones. It’s served with lemon butter, seared shrimp & spinach. The seared shrimp on the trout were THE BEST THING I had!! The seared shrimp were VERY GOOD and seasoned well! The trout itself was not.
Calamari - great portion size, fried a bit too soft but about average as far as flavor - served with a flavorful marinara
Fried Shrimp - EXCELLENT portion size but VERY bland; served with standard fries - basic
Crab & Spinach Dip - A good amount of lump crab meat in the dip - a bit oily & broken, garlic toast points were great
Seafood Skewers - Nice Char on veggies, salmon undercooked, scallops and shrimp tasty, dirty rice flavorful
I did speak with the manager about the bony fish and she was very open to hear the feedback and our server was very pleasant and responsive. Hopefully next visit will be a bit more flavorful because we do look forward to returning. Everybody has off days, guess today was an off day - or at least for me it was.
Total $175 - worth it due to portion sizes, service and food is actually cooked, not just poured out of a bag.

Great service and tasty, over priced food. Maybe that’s the new normal after Covid19. Was in the area visiting an old buddy that I hadn’t seen in quite some time. He suggested this place which I had heard about quite a bit, It always wanted to come to try out. Seems to have a real following of people who are just in love with it. I had blackened snapper with grits. It was good but not $45 worth of good, For a blackened fish fillet & 1.5 cups of grits which tasted very good.. Really can’t see what people rave so much about. The place was packed though and we had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. So maybe I’m just missing whatever it is that people love about this place.

Have been patronizing this location for years. It is a must have every time I’m in Atlanta.
Wait times are still lengthy and restaurant is usually at capacity. They do a good job in handling the volume.
Service is always on point, very friendly and welcoming staff.
Dinner for two with a cocktail will definitely run a $100+

Beautiful inside and out. Food was a different swag. I had the shrimp and grits, the grits had cheese and corn inside, it was very creamy! Shrimps was grilled. Also had a house salad with sweet bacon. Would eat again! I tried the alligator bites was fresh and good!
