Loved sitting at the bar eating breakfast at this divey, local joint. Salmon Eggs Benedict was amazing although their crab cake Benedict is their specialty. Bacon and hash browns were delivered crisp as ordered. Bloody Mary's ordered by people next to us were a buffet on their own. Highly recommend.

Don't judge a book by its cover! The food here is phenomenal! The servers are a little gruff..but the food is worth the experience.Had the Salmon Eggs Benedict and it was amazing! Loaded with Salmon and tasty Hollandaise sauce. Came with delicious and perfectly cooked home fried potatoes..I had them add grilled peppers and onions to them...um um good!

Friendly, prompt service. Food was excellent. Very flavorful. I had the calamari burger with mashed potatoes and gravy and my daughter had the grilled cheese. We sat by the fireplace to warm up while we ate. Seems to be where the locals go.

We were juat looking for a place with deck to enjoy a dinner and did not have very high expectations. The food and the service were great. We had the salmon, ribs, tacos and we were very happy with the food. The only bad this was the pita bread in the Mediterranean plate we order tastes old. But it may not be the place to order Mediterranean food.

Drinks are strong and plentiful. Had several different food options of which none of it was really good, but nothing was bad either. The best thing I had there was the steamed clams. Its nowhere I would make a trip to goto but if your staying nearby or at the attached hotel it's not a bad option.

I think the SS is somewhere between a 3 and 3.5, I enjoy the atmosphere there and the deck is a great option weather permitting. I have had 2 dinners and a breakfast there, the food was ok , the service 2 out of 3 times was good. They have a good selection of craft beers on tap. When the hot spots downtown are packed up I like to head down to there, if you find yourself in that part of town give em a try.

I went to Slippery Salmon for the first time for a paint nite. I ordered the Halibut and chips which was delicious! The service that I was able to get because there was one waitress named Haley for a whole room full of us, was awesome. I hate going downtown for any reason these days, but if I'm in the neighborhood, I will definitely make a beeline for this place. I had a great experience.

Had lunch here while killing time before flying out. It's a nice little place, a bit off the main track. Good burger, fries and fish and chips. Staff was friendly and efficient. An added bonus was the black bear cub that visited the back deck before wondering off. That's Anchorage folks!

This place has the best brunch in town. Always amazed it’s not busier. Everyone needs to be going here over those more popular Anc breakfast places. Other meals are pretty great too. Rustic/humble atmosphere. Food is fantastic with lots of Alaskan fare

Loved the atmosphere and the food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Smoked salmon naan bread was amazing! Be aware, if you have a shellfish allergy, there are clams in the salmon chowder.

Staying at Ramada next door; they suggested the Salmon Bar & Grill. Food a little pricey but we'll worth the cost of dinner for two. Menu wasn't as it was presented. The dinner menu said soup or salad plus two entries except the halibut and chips which I ordered. I was only able to choose soup or salad, no choice of 2 sides like the menu said. The waitress was very apologetic. The halibut was the whitest I've ever had...wonderful. The meatloaf was the second entre. The side of baked beans was very good but the coleslaw wasn't a favorite. Food is very reasonably priced for Alaska, and it is tasty. My friend and I went last night for a Paint Night event and it was great. I only awarded 4 stars, however, because of the bathroom situation - the women's restroom was down 1 out of 2 stalls and it wasn't well maintained.

Food is really good, it is a hidden gem in plan site. it sits inside a Ramada hotel but don't let that stop you from eating at this Authentic Alaska Restaurant. Staff did well and even when there was an issue with something they fixes the issuse better than expected!

Wife and I got a burger, coconut shrimp, a pound of steamed clams and split all 3,$43 before tip. We're actually still in the restaurant. Couldn't get refills on Water, Burger was supposed to be medium rare and came out cold. Not even really rare, more like tartar. Pound of clams turned out to be 20 teeny tiny clams, but the fries that came with the burger were great and the shrimp were delicious and giant.

Fries were crisp and hot. Didn't have all the ingredients to make the drink I wanted a bit of a disapointment for a place that calls itself a bar. Ketchy location but food was good. Service was average.

We had a group that went to Slippery Salmon so an array of food was ordered. There was the halibit/fries basket, slippery sliders, clams, salmon dinner, ribs & queso with chips!! It was all delicious!! Service was great & staff very friendly!! Definitely going there again!!

Looking at the menu the food seemed pretty expensive. but when I ordered and got my food it was a very big portion so I was happy. I wasn't expecting for the chicken to be so well seasoned and fried on my chicken sandwich but it was phenomenal. Better than a chick fil-a sandwhich.

I took my daughters and son in law here this summer and we sat out on the deck. Great atmosphere! The food was awesome! and the wait staff was very attentive. We will be back...

Surprised me that they made their food from scratch (except the fries - which were good, too). We just walked in and ordered. After tasting the food, we asked (expecting a brand name, I guess). Hopefully, you'll find it the same. I ordered the Chili, my wife, the pulled pork.

Been here twice, prices are good, food is good, and the restaurant inside is good. Beautiful view in summer from the patio! Although, it is in a not great part of Anchorage and one time we saw empty alcohol bottles and cigarette butts in the flower planter out front.

Such a crowd pleaser! We both got the salmon benedict and it was one of the best I've ever had. The salmon, locally sourced was a lot like jerkey moreso than your typical smoked fish. It was so good. And the hollandaise was nice and thick so it added a great sauce to enjoy with the hash browns. Our server, Leigh, was a sweetie! She was very helpful and held down the entire place by herself with ease. We're thinking about going back tomorrow :) Try it!!

Normally I love it there and great menu. My recent visit in December was tough as not open like usually is for meals such as lunch and dinner..having hard time renewal of liquor licenses as new owners..hopefully gets resolved for the upcoming season

Ok, realize this is a local spot/dive. Food is good, drinks average and reasonably priced, service superb, plenty of TV's, cozy seating. Fun without too much expense. You know what you are going to get when you walk in. Restroom available.

Best salmon chowder I've ever had. I was so sad when i ate it all. And it was sooo cheap. $5 for a cup $8 for a bowl. If you come here and like chowder get this!!

had the breakfast buffet eggs bacon they're were only two that were really crispy the potatoes were good but mainly had the yogurt but it was so expensive 14 dollars i could probably get a space cadet meal and the last time i went i got some clam chowder and bacon soup and a variety of tea on the house and there was a mustard spot on the table and there was a basketball game on i detest basketball
