I placed an online order and the receipt said to pickup through the drive thru. A sign in the drive thru said not to use the drive thru for online pickups and to go inside. This handwritten sign is on the menu, so you have to drive through and park. The exit parking is to the back of the store. The door is sometimes locked. The front entrance is locked due to construction. Sometimes the door is unlocked again. Inside (in the photo) is as seen with a note stating to call a phone number when you've arrived to pickup an order and to not enter. When you call the number, no matter how many times across any span of time, it will give you a busy signal. When the food is ready someone will come out of the door and ask for your name to bring your order out. The entire transaction seemed a little long considering there were only three of of waiting inside and only one car behind us when I went inside, but I can chalk that up to short staffing and I won't fault them that much. Nonetheless, from the time of ordering to the time I had my food in my hand, about 40 minutes. I admittedly had a large order and may have caught them at a bad time l, but it wasn't outrageous. This has not been my typical experience, but it was not an excellent one. Again, they are likely short staffed and are clearly under construction. It's a bad situation. But slow service is slow service and that's not the company standard.

Always great fried chicken even when it’s bad. New ownership seems to have improved drive thru times and order accuracy. Be careful in the drive through as the barriers are tight for most vehicles.

The staff was very polite and helpful. I made a custom order and was told of the upcharge right away to make sure I was okay with it. They made a fresh batch because they didn’t have all I wanted and we still only waited 15 minutes. I love this location and have never had any issues.

Kinda ended up with half my order, but I wa shaving too good a time to check before I got home. It is drive thru only at the moment but there are some sweet stickers on the wall to see as you head in.

I do not believe in bringing down a restaurants rating with a review. That being said, we have been to this location 2 times now and both times we were very disappointed 😔 The chicken was dry, yet the breading tasted undercooked and flavorless. The fries were greasy and biscuit was like a flour hockey puck. The chicken in the sandwich was stupid huge and the breading once again was undercooked and flavorless. I took a few bites because I was starving then gave the rest to my husband who was also really hungry so he ate it just because we spent the money on it. We will not be coming back.

Service can be slaphappy, depending on the day, you can get out in time for a drive thru. but on a rush hour lunch or dinner, just be prepared to spend a good 10-20 minutes on queue. Food is pretty adequate, comes out warm and clean, a little finesse on bring out the right orders the first time. always spend some seconds to double check what you're acquiring, as there is a possibilty for mispicks.

Dining room appeared to be open but they said I missed the sign on the door. That’s good for the independent restaurants in town that let you dine in for months now. The chicken was hot and fresh and tasty . Mashed potatoes serving is baby sized but good otherwise. We had no long wait and the workers were professional.

Since the new owners have taken over this Popeyes a year ago you can really tell they are trying to make things better. Speed of service is faster. They are never out of anything. The customer service is better! Fresh food, speedy service!

Very unprofessional. When you walk in the first door before the second floor to the actual restaurant, there is the manager along with 3 others females, talking in their native language VAPING and glaring at us as we walked in. I'm going to assume it's because we interrupted their conversation by opening the door. I think it's very unprofessional of the manager to be vaping indoors, but even more that we had to WALK THROUGH her vape cloud. No apologies right then, and no apologies when she came in and helped the new girl take our orders. Other than that the food is always amazing. Just could use better training in my opinion.

The mashed potatoes are amazing, I can't eat the chicken anymore but I do miss it. 😢 Drive through is always packed but the layout makes it easy to dip if you're in a hurry, and the line moves pretty fast considering the freshness of the food. Prices are great too. Leaving my business magnets on the wall next time! 😍😍🥰🤩

The only thing I have a problem with is their app. You don't get charged the same price as you would if you went through the drive-thru or into the store. They offer points which gets you discounts on meals but by paying extra you're actually not getting a deal you're paying for a little bit of savings which you already paid for. It's not free at all.

I highly recommend to come in the morning for fresh chicken and sides. My favorite order would be a, 5 pc blackened tender combo w/ mash potatoes; mix in the hot sauce or Buffalo bayou sauce in the mash and it's fire. My go to if you don't want the wait time on blackened tenders would be, any (#) pieces of chicken platter spicy/mild of your choice, with a large mash gravy and large mash gravy with sweetie sauce (2x), hot sauce (lots) and Buffalo bayou sauce.

Good chicken. I like the spicy chicken strips the most. Only the drive-thru is currently open. The staff told me today that the inside will continue being closed until after a remodel inside. 3 stars because I waited in drive-thru line behind 10 other vehicles and it took 40 minutes to get my food....with a wait that long, I will choose anyplace else before I come back to this Popeyes.

I had to do it guys...a Popeyes in Alaska? Yep. The food was good, but not as good as the hood. Only the drive-thru was open, and cool Eskimo dudes (They look and talk like Samoans) working it. They were even more excited to hear about LA than I was to hear about Alaska. Had a great time talking with these guys.

Our bucket of chicken was delicious the tenders and sandwich was also tasty. Fries and coleslaw, red beans and rice with biscuits were all hot and ready fast. They were out of spicy tenders so we will try those next time. We spent 60 bucks to feed 4 more than enough

This location has finally made the turn around it needed. The fried chicken has always been on point, and was good enough to justify the wait times in the past. But with a new staff they've really turned around the wait times and the service. I showed up just before closing and had to wait a short period of time for my food, maybe 7 minutes, and they compensated me with an extra chicken sandwich. Glad to see Popeye's putting in the extra effort to keep customers happy.

Food was really good. Even for how busy the were we got our food in a timely manner. The only thing is we paid $50.00 for the 16 piece family box that comes with 3 sides and 8 biscuits but there was no drinks. Just kinda figured there would be drinks for that price.

We haven't ate here in over 10 years because of the problems with customer service and the taste of the food. We heard that this location got a new owner and under new management, with better food. YES!!! The food was miles away from what use to be served at this location. The only issue that I have so far is; their drive-thru!!! 4 cars in and the line is not worth the wait or your vehicle blocks traffic. The new owners need to look into restructuring or reconfiguring the drive-thru; especially with the dine-in area being closed due to the city mandate. We'll see how this Popeyes hold up in the coming months.

Be aware of whatever you order, they messed up the orders all the time, I got 2 family meals and one of them was short, I live in Eagle River and go back for 2 pieces of chicken would be more expensive cause of the gas price, so I let it go.

Long lines frequently. Food service variable but recently perhaps better than this past summer. I like the product better than many other fast food places but too frequently get barely warm (temperature) red beens and rice. A sign is up saying under new management. Perhaps things will improve. I hate to fall back to KFC.

Been coming here for years. The food is tasty and the staff are wonderful. The Samoan lady that usually runs the front counter impressed me one day when she brought a seniors food directly out to her instead of calling out the order number. Very sweet and thoughtful.

Now a 1 star as they have run out of the sandwich a few times lately, which is totally frustrating to show up and not have any of the item you want. Plus they do not participate in the coupon program. Isn't that false advertising to offer a coupon in a geographic region for a business that does not accept the coupon? It sure seems that way to entice their customers to come into their business by mailing coupons to their address, only to say "no" once they come through the door. They have made changes for better service, but wipes it out the goodwill when they don't offer what's on the menu, and they don't participate in the promotions.

When I went there the wait time was a bit long. But I will say worth the wait.....my food was hot and DELICIOUS! The Fried Orka was perfect and the amount was beyond the price. And the Red Beans and Rice was OMG FANTASTIC!! I was surprisingly surprised since this was my first time trying these dishes. I WILL BE BACK!!!

Good chicken if they feel like serving you . service has fallen off , check your managers boss man . I ordered a number 2 with mashed potatoes I seen the whole order sitting there in the warmer the mash the chicken everything ,it took them 22 minutes to not give it to me. I got a refund and bounced and was late getting back to work . really wanted some Popeye's , I feel bad because I love the chicken but I gotta be honest service wasn't up to the Popeye's standard.

A month ago, I would have only given them 3 stars, but it looks like they've hired some new employees, who are much friendlier and in the ball than some of the old one. So I've tried to go to this location a few times since its reopening. I can say that I have become accustomed to slightly slower service and longer than usual wait times for fulfillment. It doesn't appear that this reopening has changed much of the expectations concerning experience. At least the food makes the wait times worth it. It's still a pretty clean establishment!

Super hit or miss. Either it takes 20-30 minutes to get your food, but it’s great, or it takes 10 minutes and it’s just ok. I feel like they either have to make food fresh (which I’m ok with when I know to expect a wait) or you’re getting chicken that’s been under a heat lamp for an hour. I have yet to have a short wait time and food that tastes relatively fresh. It’s always at least ok, and it’s getting better, but they still need some work.

Went through drive thru so I can't say much for the inside. I ordered two large sides of red beans and rice and felt that the beans and rice we're under cooked. I rated them a four due to this and the condition of the drive thru which is very rough on any vehicle.

Had shrimp for lunch only $5. But a soda was included in the price but the girl never asked what kind of soda I wanted or anything. When i got to the window to pick up my order I asked her about it and she said it co?s with the meal if I want it.. Wow train your people.during ordering When I asked about the buttermilk shrimp advertised on tv she said to me and I quote" I don't know what that is and I don't know if we have it."... Really??? Train your staff!! She didn't ask anyone either.. Omg where is the manager???

They are friendly, fast and so appreciate of their customers and have awesome customer service... I will alway eat here and will recommend them to all my friends and family!!! Their biscuit are to die for!!!
