I ordered a curbside pickup & ended up arriving way earlier than my estimated pickup. Customer service from start to finish was amazing. A nice lady even came out to tell me the status of my order. The same nice lady later brought it out, earlier than estimated. The bag smelled amazing driving home. I was amazed how much attention to detail went into packing the order. The tenders platter had 2 kinds of sauces, the celery sticks with the wings were carefully wrapped separately, the salad platter had dressing, they even added bread with butter. Kids said the chicken tenders were delicious. The salad & the wings were delicious!

For a steakhouse, the steak was bad. I got a medium rare and it was very, very dry. Overall the food was pretty comparable to stuff you'd get at a diner. The seating was alright though and our server was great. For how much it costs though, I'd expect much better food. There are better places I'm town.

My partner and I met friends to celebrate a birthday and a coming together after a year apart. The food was better than average, quickly prepared, consisted of large portions for a reasonable price, and each entree' was a different taste sensation. The atmosphere was conducive to four friends reconnecting after a long absence. We could hear each other without having to strain our ears or our voices. The staff, each and every one, were professional, kind, knowledgeable, unintrusive, and a definite asset to their employer. Our table and seating area was clean and comfortable as well. All four of us recommend The Outback Steakhouse as a dinner destination worth your time and money!

My meal was amazing, I ain't been there in years. I had the Pasta n Shrimp Alfredo, our Blooming Onion was perfect, the bread wasn't enough though 😁, but got over it, and our server was spot on w/o being overbearing, I like a server who knows what is to much, he was great, regrettably I forgot his name, small pony tail and southern accent. 😉 The shrimp was perfection and the pasta was the way it is supposed to be. Definitely won't be yrs before I go again.

Good service always, as a delivery gig worker I appreciate restaurants that have specific areas for pick up and they also have one staff member in charge of the puck up service. Also as a customer very good service and food was good, decent stake and price was OK! Our waitress was awesome 👌

My family and I had dinner here tonight (Friday), dinner and service was great. Our server Jazz was AMAZING and we never had to ask for anything. She made the experience and we will 100% be back!

The service was great and initially the order for the misses was not right. She ordered a filet and when it came out she got a sirloin instead. The waitress and manager both apologized and we were able to get her the filet . I'm not going to trash the place for a mistake after they apologized and fixed it. My order was right and everything was good except the potatoes had a lot of salt on the skin.

Very friendly and helpful staff. From the person at the front podium to the server, the stagg was excellent. The bartender Bobby did a superb job serving us. The food came out hot and cooked as ordered. The food had good flavor and was of good quality. It exceeded expectations tonight!

The Blooming Onion here is so much better than the one at Texas Roadhouse. We had an excellent waiter but he didn't notice that the host or bus boy had not put any silverware on our table so we had our food for about 10 minutes before we ever got silverware. The shrimp in the appetizer were much smaller than I expected, but they were tasty. My husband's steak was great.

The food was amazing. Very well prepared and flavored. A true touch of genius from whomever the chef at the helm is. Also the servers were top notch and made the dining out experience comfortable. I especially appreciated the kindness, smile and eye contact from the lovely Roxanne Grace who greeted us at the door👌👌 One suggestion if I may add would be some sort of option to hear the sports dialogue from the televisions viewed from the bar. Possibly a remote speaker by request or dimmed to a audible level within the bar tops. The games are playing and I would spend more time here if I could here the play by plays. CHEERS🍻🍻

(Sadly) one of the best restaurants I ate in Alaska. Same as most outbacks I guess. Food was good and service was friendly. Steaks were a bit over done. It was very close to the hotel and not crowded (is anything really crowded in Alaska?) Came there to eat twice within 2 days. Have a few local beers which was great.

We eat here kind if off and on when we wanna make a date night of it. They are a bit short staffed at the moment, like most places, so if you're good with giving them some grace, they will take really good care of you! Our wait lady was amazing, upbeat, really good at remembering what you wanted and was able to handle quite a bit on her own, truly awesome! Don't remember her name but she had really pretty dark skin and a FANTASTIC attitude! Keep going girl! Food was great, love the wings, steak was perfect, thanks guys!

Took my fiancee to Outback Steakhouse in Anchorage, AK. (Her 1st time) to Alaska. She only ordered a coke to drink and I ordered our meal. Little did she know there was a surprise at the end. Overall, the Staff shown excellent hospitality while serving our food. Ordered the two lobster tails, 12oz. Rib eye steak (Medium Well) and a few more. My fiancee enjoyed her time. Host and Server were great. Food was served quickly and perfectly cooked. Only issue we had were Spices that weren't welcome on the Ribeye. Make sure to let them know if you don't want heavy seasoning on your steaks.

This place blew my expectations out of the water. First experience with an outback steakhouse and had me wanting to go back the next day. Our server was very attentive and hilarious (he also had an Australian accent which I'm not sure if it was fake or not). Best part was the food. I eat a lot in one sitting and did not leave hungry. It was also delicious. Highly recommend.

Best Outback experience we've had. Outback has always been okay and consistent. This one was a bit slow getting us seated, but Bob the bartender/waiter was excellent, my steak and shrimp pasta dish was excellent, and the carrot cake was amazing. The highly touted wine was just okay.

First return visit since the start of Covid and was excited to re-experience their wonderful taste treats. I ordered the Shrimp on the Barbie and was not disappointed. I also received a couple of BBQ ribs from my son's full rack - Amazing! So far, so good, but the bar fair was slightly lacking. I had two rum and 7s. The first was made with clear rum and it was underwhelming weak. For my second, I asked for dark, spiced rum in order to kick the flavor-factor up a notch. Unfortunately, it was equally as weak and relatively flavorless. Overall I would consider this visit at about 80%: 110% for the food and minus 40% for the bar. The service itself was friendly and timely, so I added another 10% back for her efforts... thus, 4 out of 5 stars.

Yeah it's a chain but I like their steaks better than any other local steak house in Anchorage. I take my mom because the bread is her favorite. Service was excellent and very hospitable and kind to my elderly mother and me with a broken leg.

Customer was great..we did a curb side pick up. However steak was too dry yes I get well done but was overly well done. Even the onion blossom over cooked. But I give the 3 because customer service is important to me and that we did get 100%.

Stopped for dinner 8/29 and had some of the best service we’ve ever had at a restaurant. Jed was our server and he was right on top of everything. Food came out super quick and nice and hot! Next time we’re in Anchorage we’ll definitely stop back in!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. However, the past few times I have gone, the food was lackluster. The last time I went, I came in last after the rest of my party. I was not serviced for at least 20 minutes, while my party waited for more drinks and bread. Had we not flagged someone down, we would have waited even longer. While being helped, the server was nice and friendly. Just not attentive enough. I hope, Outback, can pull it together. They are too good not to.

Nice spot for a family dinner. Very good steaks!! All four served as ordered be and delicious. Yes, the onion blossom was good: every bite eaten. My only complaint: I ordered a sweet potato. Did NOT order or except it to be served like this was Thanksgiving: brown sugar and drenched in butter. My suggestion: please ask!! I prefer baked sweet potatoes with butter on the side, to taste, with salt and pepper. The brown sugar absolutely RUINED the potato for me.

We got seated quickly. Food was good. We had some alterations made to our bill without any issue. Blake was the epitome of a server with a full workload! He was busy but always had time for us. Very personable, knowledgeable about the menu and on top of drink refills. Great Job! Lots of deals if you look on their website and plan for the right day. Would revisit and recommend to friends.

I was hesitant to go as the last time I was at an Outback was probably 10 or 20 years ago and it wasn't very good. And, I'm not a fan of chain like places. Well I was wrong!! This place rocked! The steak was about the best I have had in Anchorage at about half the price. I was in a bit of a hurry and the staff accommodated without a hitch. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will certainly be back and recommend others to try it as well.

Had dinner last night. Recieved a gift card for this restaurant. We seem to dine here once a year twice at most. We had the top sirloin and the grilled Alaskan halibut. Both were great and the portions were not to large. The service is good and plenty of parking. The price is a little above average for this type of food and portion, the food this time was pretty good and I did not feel too bad about the price since it was an enjoyable time.

Food was good, the only real problem was they allowed a dog in there and it wasn't even a service dog. My girlfriend s mom is allergic and they sat us near a dog and didnt tell us. It's ok I guess all she did was sneeze and cough away. I really dont think dogs should be aloud in a restaurant.

5 stars for excellent service the last 2 times I've been there. This location is undergoing remodeling but is open and the inside looks much better. Yet I care little about decor, the food is what matters! I'm a steak and potatoes guy, so that is what I've had both times and it has been delicious. You're not paying for top notch beef (at least I'm not here) but it was cooked to order with good seasoning to make a perfect meal. Wait staff was all very nice, which seems to be becoming rare. If it's been awhile since you've tried it, try it again and see.

Dining area was a bit chilly. The onion blossom was good, as were the coconut shrimp. The hamburger was great, perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the fish tacos had a funk and an aftertaste that were unpleasant. Our server offered dessert and removed the tacos from the bill. Super awesome treatment. There wasn't a single paper towel or hand dryer to be found in the men's room.

The waitress service I have no complaints, but I do have something to say about the food. The bake potato presentation was nothing to write home about. The bake potato was not hot, but rather warm. The skin was really wrinkled and it appeared the ingredients were quickly tossed on it. Will not buy again. Second is the 1/2 rack pork ribs that I ordered. The taste was good, but this pig must have been on a diet. I was really expecting a lot more meat on my bones.

Got there around 6:30pm and was seated as soon as I walked in. Waitress was friendly and always smiling. I had the blooming onion for appetizer, which was to much for just me. Then I ordered the center cut steak and had it bloominized with mashed potatoes and a salad. Left there very full.

Arrived to be seated at the bar with friendly welcoming service. Clean atmosphere. The remodel makes it a very up tempo look while keeping that Aussie feel with decor. The food was precise and on time. The 32oz Bone in Ribeye I ordered had a large amount of fat when I was finished. The Bartender noticed and said we will make you a new one free of charge. The Owner Greg personally came out and apologized, grabbed my plate and reassured he would make it better. He returned with a great cut and a delicious ribeye. An establishment that owns up to bad product I always recommend. They were unaware and during this.. Greg the owner came out to make sure it met my standards. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a great meal.. caring employees and a good price. Cheers

We visit this location because of the best service we've ever experienced!!! We consistently ask to be seated in Lexi's section and we recommend you do too! She makes every visit even better than the last 😊If I could give it more than 5 stars , I would. The food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is outstanding. I had the steak and shrimp for dinner and they were both decent, however the streak was fairly small and the ranch tasted off. The food was also fairly expensive.I would recomend going somewhere else if you want some cheaper food that still tastes good. The salt and pepper shakers were also sticky which is kind of unappetizing. My uncle had the bacon cheeseburger and he said he had better. 6/10

Although there were not alot of customers there, our waitress wasn't too attentive. She already came by to ask, if we needed more bread or sodas. When my husband asked for more butter, when she finally came by, she asked "what do you want?" Then she saw there was lil butter in small dish, she's says, "you still have butter and you can use that," without bringing another, she left. She could've brought another fresh dish of butter. She wasn't too attentive and always in a hurry. The bartender came by our table and asked if we needed more soda. Please tell those employees to have common courtesy and be attentive, as if you're the only one there in the restaurant. And here it was my husband's birthday too. Thank you!

It's a chain restaurant, which are notoriously awful in Alaska. This place isn't one of those. Don't expect it to blow your mind but I've never had bad service here. The food can be improved but they don't over cook the steak. It's an option but there are better places to eat for a local.

My family and I have been going here for years, but haven't for the past few due to personal problems. Took my Grandma to dinner for her birthday and I'm sad to say that everything from the appetizers to the sides to the main meal was simply unremarkable. I hope it was merely a case of a new/inexperienced chef who can learn, and not due to new management or changes in recipes. Again: Not bad, just bland. We'll try again later.

Portions have shrunk dramatically. I know times are tough but it appears as though the steaks were cut to half their normal thickness. Potatoes, salads a d blooming onion were smaller as well.

The food was good, especially the wedge salad which is the best thing on the menu in my opinion. The table was dirty, though and prices are inflated. You shouldn't go here for the sea food if you're in Alaska. The shrimp is tiny. The filet was surprisingly very good, though if you're okay with paying the higher amount for it.

I had The New York medium cooked to perfection. With a baked potato. And side salad with blue cheese. After the renovation it's nice and warm. Woukd if gave 45 stars but they stacked us all together when there was plenty of options to spread the herd out. Lol food is consistently good. Peace

We have never had a problem when we've gone to this location. We always sit in the bar area and the wait staff are very attentive. Of course the bloomin onion is a favorite (ask for more sauce out of the gate because they don't give enough initially so hedge your bets). Their blue cheese lettuce wedge is the most flavorful wedge we've ever had. The balsamic reduction they use makes it just right! The steaks are cooked to order and flavorful. We really like this location.

The place looks very modernized since the recent remodeling. All new art work and interior decor. I sat in a booth by the bar on the restroom side. I believe I saw at least 4 or 5 large screens with different games playing. The food was great as usual. Just a simple cheddar bacon burger, fries, and a wedge salad with a glass of water. Oh! Don't forget about the loaves of warm bread. The menu hasn't changed much by my observation but I wasnt looking for new items anyway so I didn't look very thoroughly.

Not bad food but also not better than other places close by. The servers here are never very good either, I usually don't get my water refilled until after they've given us the check. They only thing I like here is the bloomin' onion and to me that isn't worth the trip and price for a whole meal.

Got to go with someone who had never been - had to introduce the classics. Bloomin’ onion with special sauce is always delicious and fresh. The bread and creamy butter is a staple of the restaurant as well. Staff is friendly and accommodating - seemingly dressed like park rangers lol. I got a petite sirloin and they cooked it how I requested, they slightly over cooked my friends Ribeye though. The coconut shrimp were big and delicious, and the lobster tail looked perfectly cooked (friend got it), as well as they said the ribs were fall off the bone and scrumptious.

I think that Outback is overhyped. Service was OK, well within the norms for Alaska. Prices were high, also fairly normal for Alaska. However, the food was mediocre, not worth the prices. The chicken was dried out in my salad and my wife's entrée. The kids didn't complain about theirs.

Outback Steakhouse is an Australian-themed American casual dining restaurant chain based in Tampa, Florida and have many outlets in many countries. They have an outlet at Mid Town Anchorage and it is just 5 minutes walk from the hostel that I stayed previously. The salmon fillet prepared were good and well seasoned. The blue cheese wedge salad were great and this is my first time having salad with both blue cheese and bacon. Great combination.

First of all this place claims fame from being Austrailian, which it isn't. In favt it's an American company, but even so they don't have a single Austrian menu item. On top of that they charge gratuity, and the service is second rate. If I order anything special, it always comes out wrong. The food and drinks are over priced for what they are and the quallity that they serve. There are only a select few things that they seem to take any pride in.
