Jackie Turek assisted my daughter in purchasing a home in the Tampa, Florida area. When I decided to relocate here, my first priority would be to locate an agent who knows the local market. The best references usually come from satisfied clients, so I asked my daughter who she used. I met with Jackie and explained when I was moving, what I was interested in and where, and my price range. She took it from there. Over the next several days she came up with MLS sheets of available properties that met most of my criteria. We met and was able to reduce the list to only a few interesting places. We then visited the properties and then selected what I thought was the best of the best. Before I could make an offer, the listing was taken off the market. Found out that a minor repair had to be made. Back to square one. Shortly thereafter she found out the property was going back on the market and suggested that if I wanted it, go ahead make another offer as soon as possible, which I did. It was accepted. Jackie then assisted me in getting all the necessary paperwork together, selecting a lender, etc. She was available all hours to answer questions. I have previously bought and sold 5 properties up and down the East Coast and by far, this was the easiest selection and purchase ever. Jackie knows the area, took the time and effort to help me thru the entire process and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I highly recommend the Duncan Duo and more specifically, Michael Owens. This purchase was supposed to be just a formality. The seller and I found each other through a mutual acquaintance before she put the house on the market. I was already preapproved for more than her asking price so there shouldn't have been any problems. We decided to use the Duncan Duo to handle the paperwork. Things were going smoothly for a while...but then the nightmare began. My loan officer walked out 3 days before we were supposed to close. Come to find out she mentally checked out probably closer to 2 weeks prior to that. I was a mess knowing that I had to be out of my house and the seller was closing on her new house several states away in less than 2 weeks. If it weren't for Michael, I would have completely lost it. He was my rock and the light at the end of my tunnel. He and his team worked with the finance company to keep things moving. Yes, we closed a little over 2 weeks later than planned, but it could have been much worse. When the time comes to sell this home and purchase the next, I will definitely be calling them.

My experience with The Duncan Duo has been superb! Keriann Ellison is the best buyer's real estate agent I have encountered over our long house search journey. Before we met Keriann (and as we worked with a different real estate agent from another company), we could not seal the deal on any of the houses we liked. We decided to change agents and met Keriann through Duncan Duo, and she managed to get our offer accepted in under 2 weeks. She was available and responsive to any inquiries. We did not have a single issue from beginning to end. Keriann also worked with a great lender who streamlined the financing process and made it every easy to understand and complete. Our experience with Caitlin (who works at the closing department) was very good, as well. We contacted the Duncan Duo because we have some colleagues that work there and felt like they would get us the best price possible, while removing some of the stress that comes with selling a home while buying a home at same time. Nathaniel Ligron was our selling agent, but we had a whole team of people that assisted us from Mike Owens to Debbie, to a team that handled photography and videography, and a wonderful Title Team. Nathaniel met with us last year to discuss market trends, prices and timing as to when we should list. We kept in weekly contact and communicated as the months grew closer to our new home being completed. Once we felt the time was right we listed our home and received multiple full-asking price offers, and over-asking offers within minutes, literally! We didn't even need to do a 2nd day of showings as we felt pretty good about where we were at. After we sold our home we felt like it all went a little too fast, and we weren't ready to move just yet. Our home sold much quicker than we expected and the new home we're building got pushed back a month. Nathaniel worked out a way for us to stay in the home an additional month giving us more time to pack, and also saving us the costs of renting an AirBnb or hotel - and we didn't have to come down from our selling price. We felt like we did pretty good, selling the house for double the price we purchased it for less than 3 years ago. But after closing you always wonder, "Did we do the best we could", "Did we leave money on the table"? We accepted our offer in March and now I'm seeing much bigger homes that were built by supposedly "better builders", on lakes and larger lots going for $20-25 less per square than Nathaniel sold ours for. NO doubt in my mind, we did the best we could and left nothing on the table!! We have to thank Nathaniel and the Team at Duncan Duo- Thank you, A & L

Unlike Jackie, other agents that I was working with were not able to maintain a consistent level of service quality as Jackie does, and this is of one the main reasons that I finally decide to drop others and stick with Jackie. I understand with the current crazy hot market, the agents are busy with tons of customer requests everyday, and by saying service quality, I don't mean that the agents need to respond to my requests/questions immediately or sending all kinds of house information all the time. My understanding of service quality includes that the agent is able to listen with patience and sensitively enough to learn what individual customer's needs are and be able to filtered out the undesirable information for the individual. She is such a patient and sensitive person that she could figure out what I like very quick, and within my budget, she forwarded to me this dream house (now is mine) in one late afternoon when I was at a point of planning to postpone my house buying plan due to not able to find the one that I really like. Jackie spent so much effort to talk to the seller's agent to get the owner accept my offer and helped me negotiate the final price, which I wouldn't expect anything better. Of course, to close on a purchase is not a one-person effort. The Duncan Duo team has a great team of professionals to take care of each critical paths of the project and made my purchase experience so smooth, efficient, and pleasant. TL;DR: Courtney is a world class sellers agent who delivers results in even the toughest markets and proves she's a true warrior for her seller. We signed on with Courtney after we parted with our first agent. We had a new construction home which was only two years old. My job had offered a good promotion and transfer which my family and I accepted knowing we would have to relocate. In the mean time I would have to commute often 4 hours each day. Greg Jamason, AKA Jesse Kage. The man, the legend, the King of Tampa Real Estate over at Duncan Duo About a year ago I went through a nasty divorce and was left without a home. I started renting an apartment for 2k a month in Downtown Tampa. After a few months I started to ponder what kind of a home I could get for the same price I was paying for rent. Jesse jumped into action and started delivering spots to my email right away so I could see what I could get. The answer was, a lot. And I'm incredibly indecisive... Darcy Davis was our agent from the Duncan Duo. Darcy Davis from the Duncan Duo was the perfect agent to work with. From the initial meeting I knew she was a tough negotiator. Some people get turned off by the extra 1% in the agents fee, but let me tell you it’s well worth it. We were anticipating selling our home around 120k, but we decided to trust Darcy, and list for 150k, and boy are we glad we did. We had a bidding war and 11 at/above ask offers within 36 hours, and called for best and final at 48 hours. The total time to close took 2 months, because we couldn’t get out of the home sooner. Courtney Budin was our selling agent for our manufactured home just outside Tampa. Where as previous agents we spoke with prior to selling seemed to indicate we would have trouble selling (because of it being a manufactured property, even if we owned the land, which we did) Courtney had the upmost confidence in our agreed upon price and that we wouldn’t have any issue at all getting it to sell. We had an amazing photographer come out and take incredible pictures. A day or two after listing, we had multiple showings and where under contract within the next week.
