Above all, they are discerning when evaluating a home with buyers. We looked at 40+ listings together. They never pushed us to make an offer, and they easily could have convinced us to buy one of many 'compromise properties'. Instead, they scrutinized and challenged every purchase we considered. Best Realtors EVER! If you get a chance to buy a house in Utah, do not pass up an opportunity to work with Mike Eagan and Brad South. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and skilled in this field - and is one of the most talented professionals I have worked with in my life. He is excellent at communicating via text, fast at scheduling viewings, and on time for appointments. He treated us with the respect of both clients and friends. Despite what I'm sure is a busy schedule, he never made us feel rushed. We looked at A LOT of houses, and he never hesitated to show us yet another. When Mike wasn't available for a showing, it seemed that Brad was always ready to jump in, even on weekends, evenings, and last minute. I highly recommend Brad South as a Realtor. We stopped looking for realtors as soon as we got off the first phone call with Brad. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Salt Lake market, knows what is and is not a good value, and is very in sync with the current (overheated) market. Mike Egan is a phenomenal real estate agent. We blundered into shopping for a house with a random agent who, honestly, had no idea what she was doing. Rather quickly it became obvious that we needed someone who knew the market better, as well as someone who could relay information about the different types of houses and construction materials and methods used over the last 100 years. We got all of that and more with Mike Egan. We switched to him after a friend made a referral, and it only took one conversation to know that this was the agent we had been hoping for. Not only did Mike know the ins and outs of the housing market, construction materials and methods, he also was a treasure trove of information on school districts, the nuances of different neighborhoods, traffic patterns, projected market trends in specific areas, and even class-action suits brought against developers for construction and topographical liabilities. Walking through potential houses with Mike was equally enlightening. He pointed out good and bad things that he noticed about properties and was very willing to explain them to us. He knew rough estimates of what it would take (and cost) to fix the negative things he noticed, and he was just as impressive when it came to evaluating and communicating the positives.
