Great customer service, the staff at the office are always amazing when helping us, especially Ryan. I have been living here a while now and I got to say I really enjoy and love it here. I was able to get an apartment very close to my job and my kids school. My apartment is really spacious and I have no issue here. I love the i don't have worry about mailing a check every month for my rent, instead it comes out directly from my bank account, which makes it so much easier for me. The building is always clean. I also love that the you can pay to do your laundry directly from your phone and not have to use coins or cards. The super is always helpful, he always there when we need him. I got to say again, I really love it here, I would recommend anyone to rent an apartment with Zara.

Zara is by far the worst I have ever encountered. The buildings are filthy with roaches and mice. The rent increases are illegal and no one listens to complaints. I’m sure 98% of the positive reviews are fake. I’ve been living in Zara for 10+ years and trust me they don’t care about their tenants. Please don’t listen to the positive reviews. They are MONEY HUNGRY. Look at the lowest rated reviews. Those are actually the reality of what tenants are dealing with. STAY AWAY!!!

When I had vigorous questions about my apartment or something that is time sensitive she was able to assist me with everything out of m three years living in this facility it has been great working and speaking with Zaina ! As for living in the Zara apartment it was a great experience minus that the sun doesn’t shine much in my apartment. Due to other apartments not renovated I did accumulate a few roaches walking in from my front door. To solve that there is exterminating each month done by the super of the building who is also a very nice person and helpful. Anything that I need fixed it happens in the next two days. I did not like that during the pandemic and due to losing my job they would place a note on my door for all my neighbors to see the exact amount of rent I owe’d to them And they’ve also use bullying tactics to Make me to pay via the note left on the door. I don’t appreciate my financial business to be placed on my door. I didn’t like that I was charged for removing my bank account from automatic payments each month. Due to personal reasons I do not like automatic money coming out of my account from any facility. The process to get the apartment was a little intensive. The application fee of 200$ is ridiculous. As for New York state the application fee is not supposed to be no more than 20$ but Zara realty is still Charging 200$. The security deposit is also ridiculous high the amount being 3200$ and the rent is way less unsure of why it’s high but the leasing office can better help With explaining.

I've been living in my Zara building for about 5 1/2 years now. I started out in a studio and just recently upgraded to a 1 bedroom. I've had a great experience thus far with Zara. The best thing about Zara is their staff. I have been lucky enough to have Sue Gayadeen as my account representative. When I moved in she was the receptionist. I'm happy that Zara has seen the great asset they have in her. Sue has been there for me when I changed jobs and took a massive paycut, through a horrible breakup, everytime I've been financially challenged, she has been there helping me as best she can. She went so far as to help us with the noisy neighbors above us. She even assisted us in getting our new apartment. I was stalking the apartment for years and she made sure that we were aware of its availability, so that we could grab it before anyone else. She has always gone above and beyond for me when I lived on my own, and now my husband to be as well. I definitely recommend Zara based on my experience with Sue alone. They should clone her.. They just need to allow dogs and then I could give 6 stars ! 😁

Renting at Zara has been extremely challenging for the last 4 years for me. A combination of the location that I rented, the size of the apartment space, the neighbors and some noise, the intruders into the building whom were not the best types of people you would want in your home and surroundings. When I first moved here, I chose the building I am living in because it was beautiful, the apartment had a great layout, the building was very clean and it was near a lot of restaurants and stores. I also loved it because it was near the train station. They also have a parking lot which was perfect for me. The super is always kind and always helpful. The staff at the office is always kind and helpful especially Vikrama. I recommend Zara Realty to a lot of people and they rented with Zara. I am not planning to move because I love it here. I enjoy living in my new apartment. I moved here one month now and it has been pretty amazing. I have no complaints, everything is going well. It was a great decision that I made to move here. My apartment is on the eleventh floor and the view from there is amazing, especially in the night when all the houses and buildings light up. Zara Realty is doing an amazing job in keeping the building in a very good condition. I was able to get a parking spot with Zara Realty also, at the same location for a good price. Now I don't have to worry about finding parking. One main reason why I chose to rent an apartment at this location was because it was very close to the hospital. I love that in my building on each floor there is a laundry room, this makes it easier for me. At the lease signing everything was explained to me by Ryan, he was really helpfull. I really love it here.

I recently moved in to one of Zara’s 2 bedroom apartments with my two children and we have been having nothing but pleasant times in our new home. All my neighbors are very friendly and were welcoming to us when we moved in and the superintendent has always been extremely kind and helpful. What I enjoy the most is the cleanliness of the building. The building is regularly cleaned and disinfected. As soon as you enter into the building, you can smell how clean the building is and you see the superintendent and his helpers constantly disinfecting the entire building and its common areas. I think this is great, especially due to these uncertain times of COVID-19. As a single mother with two young children, I feel very safe in this building and ever since I’ve moved in I have never had any issues. Everyone at the office is very friendly and always address any questions I may have, and they do so in a prompt manner. I plan to reside in Zara’s apartments for many years and I know my children will enjoy growing up in such a safe and secure environment. Keep up the good work Zara!! She is always keeping the lines of communication open and when the pandemic hit me & my family were struggling and she always made us feel at ease and helping in all ways she could to be sure the rent will be paid and we still have food on our table. Our intention was to find a building that was centrally located with beautiful spacious apartments. That’s exactly what we found at Zara! The building, if you’ve never seen it, is really beautiful and took our breath away when we first laid eyes on it. It is really well taken care of. They must probably get up so early in the morning as I leave for work pretty early and they’re always already up cleaning and doing what they have to do to keep the building in great condition. They always look my way and greet me too. I feel like I’m in good hands and whenever I need help the building reps are easily accessible and friendly to deal with. This place is a slam dunk once you compare it to all the other apartment complexes around here. The reason is simple: The office staff is like family. They are truly responsible for me feeling the way I feel. I feel like this is my forever home and they look and sound like they will do anything possible to ensure I am happy and comfortable. I really appreciate that. The entire building is just an architectural marvel to look at. You can tell that a lot of thought has been put into the construction of this building. For the price you pay here, you will not find a better apartment in this area. Moving to Zara was the best decision I ever made as I truly enjoy living here.

The best thing about them is that they really know the industry inside and out because they’ve been doing this for years. I'm not renting with them currently but I was a tenant up until last year, when I became a home owner. Incidentally, it’s probably due to the value that i got for my money from renting there that led to my home ownership but that’s another story for another time. My apartment was so spacious that i remember signing up so quickly after i had a tour because i knew if i didn’t seize the opportunity, i’d lose the deal to someone else. Honestly the biggest I've seen in all my years of renting, and boy did we rent a lot at the time. But yeah, we quickly sealed the deal and were happy tenants from there on. Before we moved to Zara, we moved from apartment building to apartment building. Like a previous reviewer said, it's the peace of mind that makes it all worth it. You get exactly what you want and they're pretty flexible with everything. They are just great people overall. Trust me you're not going to find better prices for those apartments. The value is real. We did our homework and looked for years. I definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for an apartment, especially in the Queens and Long Island areas.

After years of living at buildings with horrible landlords it was a breath of fresh air to work with the team at Zara. Right from the beginning of my apartment search until the end of my lease, they were outstanding. Always Always Always prompt with their responses and try their utmost best to resolve issues as quickly as possible. The building is beautiful. The lobby is amazing. And their decoration last Christmas was just perfect..These people are great at what they do and you can tell from the way the building looks and is maintained. I am enjoying it here living with Zara Realty. My apartment is really beautiful and spacious. My building has its own parking lot, which is really convenient for me. I am not too far from the train station and bus terminal. The hospital is not that far from where I live either. There are a lot of really good restaurants in the area, good food from all over the world . When I was first looking from an apartment I was looking for something safe, with a clean environment and a nice view of the park and I found that here with Zara Realty. The super and the office staff are really nice people. They are always kind and helpful, especially Ryan. I would recommend anyone to rent with Zara Realty, they will love it here.

I have lived here for about seven years now and have had a great experience. What can i say? I am blessed. I moved into Zara after never seeing the apartment or even Queens NYC. I moved from Pennsylvania. I cannot begin to tell you enough how blessed I am to have sort of randomly chosen this place! I thought it might be too pricey, but after looking at surrounding apartments, this definitely is the nicest and has the greatest value for your money! The people I meet tell me they pay the same for their small apartment but don't have the space and quality of service that i get - beautiful floors, amazing staff and so on. The location is really good. Far enough to be quiet and pretty and charming, close enough to walk easily to al the good restaurants. I walk to the subway everyday to get to work. Nice grocery stores close by and several to choose from and the people in the neighborhood and in the building are really friendly people. All in all, I would highly recommend living here!

The building is very close to the train station and some amazing restaurants. The super is really kind and helpful. He keeps the build in good condition. I went to the office and got some really nice backpacks and also school supplies. For Thanksgiving I got a free turkey delivered to my home. After checking out almost every apartment building in Queens, I came to the conclusion that I had to live at Zara and I do not regret it one bit. Few of the things that stood out to me was how nice all the buildings looked and how clean the lobbies are, but most of all was how nice the staff is. I had a few issues while moving in, but they were resolved in no time. Plus the maintenance crew is on point with everything. The office staff take their time on the phone with us and answer all our questions to our satisfaction. No complaints there. The building itself has been absolutely phenomenal so far. Being next to the subway makes it so convenient for us and we are very grateful for that fact. Commuting is a breeze for us now whereas before it was a hassle. I would definitely recommend looking into renting from them if you’re currently looking for an apartment.

I have lived in Queens since moving to NY in 2017 from Florida. I decided to look for a new place last August and when I saw their flagship building on Hillside, I knew i wanted to live there. The next weekend I went to tour and met the best possible team to take care of me. I knew right then and there that I wanted to live here. I was sold and literally put my deposit down that day. Not only are they the best team, but let's talk a little about the building and the people who live here. This place is gorgeous and the interior design is amazing. The apartments are nice, and there are so many cool places nearby to visit. These guys care about you, and I can attest that they actually went above and beyond for me in many ways. I would highly recommend living here if you are looking for a safe and comfortable place to live in Queens. So I don't want to say anything about the expensive that they are or if they will return my money when i leave or the $300 that they charge you if you lost you key, which is insane. Hi guys! i lived here for 5 years. I moved but the only reason I moved is because I transferred to my job’s Florida location. But i have to give them 5 stars because my experience there was one of the best experiences living at an apartment building i have ever had. For the first week or two I moved here, I had the feeling like I was the only person in the building. I never heard a sound from a single neighbor no exaggeration, and occasionally would hear a loud laughs from my other neighbor but i barely heard that.. That's it. You could hear hallway noise somewhat easily from the kitchen/living room, but hardly ever, plus that was hardly ever an issue since the hallway didn't get a ton of foot traffic, truth be told. One other thing is that they were very quick with their replies to maintenance requests. The guys were always in uniform and smartly dressed. they always were 100% professional. The value you get for your money here is exceptional. I paid a reasonable amount of money for a top floor, recently renovated apartment. Much better value, in my opinion, than any of those newly built apartments in Queens. Trust me. I priced quite a few other places before i moved to Zara. The management here actually care. Besides promptly taking care of maintenance issues, they don't give you the run around. I recommend them without hesitation!

As someone who does business with this company, I have to say that they are nothing short of exceptional at the services they offer. Wish everyone was like Zara. No complaints whatsoever here. I live here and I love it here. I’m not sure if it is but if it’s the same management that runs all their buildings in queens, then I recommend all the other buildings too as I heard from friends that apartments there are also really nice and spacious.You will not get the value you get at zara or the price anywhere else. Mark my word. Do your own research obviously but you’ll see what I’m talking bout.Zara is surrounded by the best restaurants and bars in Queens because of where this building is located. Great places surround us including a pharmacy, library, nice restaurants and bars etc…Transportation is easy with the bus stop right outside the apartment which can take you all over the place. The subway is also close by, no more than a 5 minute walk away. These are very convenient things that when you take it all into consideration, makes living here even all the better. The apartment itself is beautiful with beautiful hardwood polished floors and nice closets. Plenty of space for a reasonable price, especially for this location. It’s as perfect as it gets and you don’t feel like you’ve made a bad decision living here. We’ve had a few minor maintenance issues over the 3 year span but overall, we are very happy here. 100% recommend.

The building on 153rd street is excellent. It's well maintained and cleaned constantly. It's tranquil. Rarely have I heard anyone above or below me. It's safe (cameras everywhere) quiet, and the staff here make this building extra special. If something goes wrong in your apartment, you don't have to wait long before someone comes to fix it or resolve the issue—lots of stores close by. The apartments are nice sizes. Good closet space. Modern updates. Washer/Dryer in some units. There is a parking lot which is needed for the area. The community laundry room is a plus! You'll use it even if you have a washer/dryer in your apt. The building management tries to keep a sense of community by offering events at certain times of the year. Really nice events. They serve free food and raffles to win prizes. I have great neighbors who are like family. There's a lot of diversity here. It's nice to see. If you decide to stay at Zara , you will love it.

I feel like a long time listener, first time caller. I’ve read the reviews before and I can confirm that my experiences with the customer service team has been fantastic. I've been living at Zara for 5 years, and when I decided I wanted an upgrade to a bigger apartment I went in and saw Amanda. She did all the heavy lifting and made my transition as seamless as possible. There are not enough superlatives to describe how fantastic of a job she did. She took into consideration previously overlooked issues, and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure the process was completely transparent. She placed herself in the tenant's shoe and negotiated/masterminded the best deal for both parties. To new tenants and existing tenants alike, whenever there is a problem, I recommend that you make it your priority to go see/ask for Amanda. This is going to be my HONEST review of MY EXPERIENCE while living there. I forgot who my realtor was but he was a short man, bald head in the middle, he was very nice! Very calm and mild mannered, you can tell he is a good man. I lived in Zara's Building for 3 years. I will speak on both negative and positives. So in my opinion, the prices are a bit on the high side, it could be lower. Parking is non-existent, unless you stay home all day and can watch like a hawk to move on alternate days. AGAIN, this is my experience and my building location. Now, the super is pretty nice, very responsive and overall I never had an issue with him at all, you need something done, you tell him, and he lets you know when he's coming and he come, pretty simple! The building is clean because they do wax and maintain the floors, but if you do not have clean neighbors, well, then you will understand. You have to remember no mater how clean a building is, if you have untidy neighbors, you will have unwanted visitors. I have to say I kept my place neat and am a neat freak so I did not have much of an issue. It is a building so everyone has to do their part, take out your garbage and don't leave messes. No issues with other tenants, everyone comes in and goes out and minds their business. Honestly, pay your rent and mind your business and you will be fine. I did not have any issues while living there. As for as MANAGEMENT, I dealt with JACINIA SANCHEZ, and wow she was the highlight of my stay there. Unfortunately, we all go through things in life, and this is being an honest review, I would be late on rent sometimes, (I TOLD YOU THIS WAS AN HONEST REVIEW)! When speaking with Jacinia, when I got off the phone with her, I felt so relieved. She always made me feel better no matter what I was going through, She always had a plan and did not judge me on my circumstance at the moment, did not made me feel worse than I did! She showed EMPATHY, SYMPATHY, PROFESSIONALISM, COURTESY, and most importantly she CARED! You could feel that she understood what you were going through and she tried to help find a solution, found a game plan so you can catch up. She has a good soul and she is a good human, yes I said good human, because this is what GOD wants us to be in life, to help our fellow bothers and sisters while being non-judgmental, and unbiased while maintaining her professionalism. She is someone I will always remember. Zara Realty is blessed to have someone like her and every else needs to follow suit! I left Zara this year because of personal choice of wanting a new scenery, and parking, nothing forced me out, I figured out a year before and took my time to move! I have been looking for an apartment for MONTHS now and then I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a company, Zara. The apartment I rented was newly renovated and it had brand new stainless steel appliances and a washer and dryer in the apartment. The detailing of the work in the bathroom, and the mahogany kitchen cabinets and the shining glossy hardwood floors were certainly eye catching for me! I also loved that the building has a gym and it has a laundry room and there is a parking you can rent as well. When I heard the price of the apartment I was even more shocked! Such a beautiful apartment for such an affordable price, and with all these amenities? I knew I had to have it! Within the same week, I ended up renting the apartment and now one year later, my apartment is still looking as new as I got it when I first moved in. I’ve never had any issues with my apartment and any small repairs I needed done, I would schedule it directly with the superintendent or the office and they would ensure my repairs were completed within a timely manner. Zara’s employees are really professional and one thing I can say with certainty is that they care about their tenants and they are always glad to help. Please, if you are looking for an apartment, you definitely found the right place to call home here at Zara.

I really really love living here. The neighborhood is perfect and what an amazingly beautiful building this is. Aside from the fact that my apartment is huge and has really nice views, the hardwood floor makes you drool as they just have the perfect glossy finish. I can report that the guys who came did everything to our satisfaction within just a few hours. This building is is all we ever wanted and more. I have had some wonderful years with Zara Realty. I have been living here for 6 years and I love it here. The apartment I have is very nice and spacious. There is a parking lot at the back of the building and this makes it easier for me. I have easy access to the parks, a wide variety restaurants, stores, the train station,the hospital, and the kids school, which is not far from the building. The super is always helpful and he always keeps the building clean. It is also a very safe environment.The building I am living in has a laundry room on each floor and it is very affordable - this makes it easier for all the tenants in the building. The building is awesome and is truly luxurious. Its very clean and well kept and offers great views of the area with open floor plans and stainless steel appliances. I moved from another luxury place and I was worried that zara wouldn’t be able to keep up or compare with my previous building but to my surprise, they beat my previous landlord in every category you can think of, plus the rent is cheaper. Really can't beat that. Once you take a tour, you’ll understand why they say these apartments sell themselves. The amenities are absolute stunning, the unit is gorgeous and all the people who work here are incredible. I have never felt more welcome!! This place is absolutely a one of a kind incredible find. We must have decided on our apartment only about 3 hours after given a tour. Love the high ceilings and huge windows. I’m still amazed as though it’s the first time I’m looking at it. Usually, it takes me a really long time to settle in to a new spot but it took me less than a month to feel very very comfortable here, which speaks volumes about the kind of place this is. If you qualify to live here, hurry up and go for it. Will be worth your time and effort.

I’ll tell you this right now, if you’ve made up your mind about moving here, you better hurry because I see more and more people moving in every day. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. Any request for repairs, no matter how small, is handled promptly. I’ve had about 2 issues with repairs so far, which in my experience is really really good. The community here stays connected and there are many events throughout the year that they hold that I take my kids to and they love it. The building is located in a great neighborhood with hundreds of things to do, grocery stores and restaurants that make living here such a nice experience. The view from our window in our apartment is also really nice. It’s also quite something to see the building being taken care of by the maintenance people on a daily basis. They really do a great job in keeping this place spotless. I highly recommend living here.

Really love it here. The building is beautiful and well situated. Where it’s located is good because everything is so close. Where i lived before you kinda needed a car to move around and get the things you need in life but not here. Everything is walking distance. And that’s just awesome to me. Easily accessible from any subway or bus. So many beautiful local grocery stores and restaurants. The supermarkets here probably have the best and freshest produce selection in all of NYC. My apartment itself is really affordable and spacious. The floors are beautiful. Before I moved in it was redone with modern kitchen appliances installed etc. Sadly, I am leaving Zara after being here just over 4 years but boy I am so impressed that i had to leave this review. My time here has been nothing short of fantastic. The apartments are nice and rodent free, the people are all professionals. I mean the people who live here. Yes the management are all professional you’d expect that but the people who live here are quality really top notch friendly people. What else? Let me see….the appliances are brand new and shiny stainless steel and work really well. Like I said already, the floors are all polished and look amazing. The building is beautiful with the hallways and lobby and the outside of the building well taken care of daily. The staff is also very helpful and I will miss them dearly. Our company does insulation work for Zara and I have to say I am quite impressed with the level of service and professionalism that we’ve received over the years from these guys. It’s uncommon to find good, decent people these days, especially in the world of business. But companies like Zara give me hope that there are still authentic, honest people out there. I have been communicating personally with Rishaad over the past few weeks, and he always goes above and beyond in his efforts to find me some sort of resolution to my issues. In cases where he is unable to help, he directs me to the appropriate people who can help and that means a lot to me. We’ve done some maintenance work at their Flushing and Elmhurst locations and we can vouch for the excellent condition of the buildings. I personally know at least 2 of the tenants and I’ve personally asked them their opinion about zara and they always say “no complaints.” No complaints in the apartment rental business is a huge win for Zara. While I’m not going to embellish their words, I’m not going to downplay them either. “No complaints” says a lot to me about the character of this business. This, coupled with my personal experience with the staff, leaves me in a solid position to recommend zara both as a company to rent from and a company with which to do business. They are trustworthy and no-nonsense kind of people and that’s a positive in my eyes.

They were so personable and professional and responded very quickly to everything I needed. The Super Arif is friendly and helpful and gets things DONE I honestly don't think he sleeps! When there is a problem it is taken care of shortly afterward. They are given a 10 when it comes to keeping the building clean. When it snows the parking lot as well as the front of the building is done so everyone can get out without a problem. I feel safe living here because of the security system and because of Mr.Roy. Hands down I have never seen my sister happier with an apartment than she is here - the leasing team is really good. They worked with her every step of the way to make it a golden 5 star experience, which I appreciate and she appreciates as well. Thank you for taking care of my only sister. I was also by her side every step of the way so I have seen the treatment she got. I am so impressed by their genuine concern and many follow ups to make sure she was happy. No question was too small to answer for them. The culture here is one of friendliness and they’re very easy to talk to. This is also my experience at their long island location. Management here is really running this place with class and efficiency and we really appreciate it. I’ve been here for a while now so i remember when they used to have resident parties where they’d give out free food and drinks and all sorts of fun for the kids. The pandemic came along and changed all that but they still kept up with their resident outreach efforts virtually, always sending us resources on how to educate kids from home, where to secure funds, how to stave off the pandemic, giving out free masks, and most recently signed us up for the vaccine. Truly impressive stuff for a NY landlord. This is not what someone would expect from a landlord and so I really wanted to get on here and express our appreciation. The entire maintenance team responds quickly and they are super knowledgable and helpful. Kudos to them as well. The staff really makes all the difference. So thank you guys. About the apartments themselves - they are gorgeous. Beautiful hardwood floors, stainless steel appliance and gorgeous fixtures. I took him back there in August. Unfortunately, the next month he passed on. it is close to the subways and buses. Like literally 1 block away for the subway. And the bus is outside the front door. No exaggeration. The guys who maintain the building do an amazing job. Place smells clean and looks clean all the time. And I mean all the time. I hear no noise from neighbors when I’m in my apartment. That used to be a big problem where I lived before. Now it’s not even an issue. The prices are affordable. I mean I don’t know what they are now. But when I moved in 2 years ago they were very affordable for the value that I got. The people who work here are really really professional and carry themselves with respect and dignity.

Been a tenant for over 15 years. I read the few bad reviews here and I wonder what these people are talking about. Zara has shown my family and I nothing but the utmost respect ever since we got this apartment. So many of the tenants in my building say the greatest things about Zara but I don’t see them leaving reviews on here. Some tenants come here to this page only to vent because f the one issues they’re having and then they blow it out of proportion. They’re here to complain about the one bad day they had and forget about the million other fabulous days Zara has afforded them. I’m not one of those tenants. Yes you will hear from me when I have complaints. But I will do it the right way. Some tenants are mad because Zara operates by the book. They are principled and require you to follow the rules. This is what some tenants are complaining about, but this is what I love about them. It’s a symbiotic relationship whereby we hold each other accountable for our actions. My kids love it here. I don’t plan on moving from here in the foreseeable future. My apartment is exactly the way I want it. I wish more people would come on here not just when they want to complain but also to say all the great things Zara has done for them.

As far as reviews go I do not usually give a review based on a single experience with a company or individual. I also do not give a review immediately following an incident because the prevailing emotions at the time can influence the review negatively or positively. That would be a reaction and not a review. However, I am inclined to offer my review of Zara’s administration office as experienced through their representatives. Two individuals come to mind, Christina and Daniel, though one briefly and the other protracted. I have dealt with both recently. Christina was my initial point of contact and she was very cordial and professional. She was efficient and after taking all my details and reason for my call said someone will get back to me and someone did, Daniel. It was not my first time speaking with Daniel. I had occasion to speak with him intermittently over the past year. He is professional and knowledgeable of his process. Zara is in the real estate/rental business so naturally any conversation is invariably that of a landlord/tenant relationship. The expectation of a resolution in such a relationship is as acrimonious as a that of a taxpayer and the IRS. But in my case Daniel proved me wrong. Daniel handled my case with the sensitivity of a seasoned professional, responded within the promised time frame and the immediate result of the conversation was seen the day after. I must say that I was impressed. It was not a one-time occurrence either, for when I had reason to call again for a different issue the result was the same. Poignant, professional and punctual. Under stress or faced with cause of uncertainty Daniel is a voice you want to hear. Pleasant, grounded, thoughtful and confident. In my recent interaction with Daniel I was pleasantly surprised when the result of my inquiry resulted in an amicable resolution with a better than expected outcome. Though if the result was otherwise I would not be willing to say it was a fault of his. For this reason I was motivated to write this review. I wish this young man continued success in his endeavors wherever they may take him.

Love it. The neighborhood is incredibly vibrant. I lived in 2 separate units over the course of my time there - 1 one-bedroom unit with roommates, and 1 one-bedroom unit on my own. one of the things that I liked when i lived there was because of its age, the apartment was VERY sturdily constructed - you never heard your neighbors. I ended up moving out into a brand new condo that I bought, where I could hear literally everything my upstairs neighbors did. A rude awakening after 10 years at Zara! So yeah, all this to say that I took that for granted when i was living at Zara but now that i live elsewhere i really appreciate the value of the peace and quiet and privacy that i had when i was living here. 5 stars all the way!

I thoroughly enjoyed the process and can't remember a time when looking for an apartment was this rewarding. Please do yourself a favor and call these guys if you're looking for an apartment. I’ve been living at New Haven Apartments for almost 4 years now. As a matter of fact, I just renewed my lease for another 2 years. I feel at peace living here. No matter what time I come home in the evenings, I do not have to look behind me. As a single person, security was one of my main concerns. This place is soooo secured with cameras all over. The office staff is very friendly and don’t talk about the maintenance crew. Every time I have a problem in the apartment and make a request, they are always on time to fix the problem. They take great pride in what they do. Yesterday (6/16/17) I had a friend visiting me from Florida and as soon as she came off the elevator, the first thing she said was, this place is soooo clean. I also took her in the mailroom and she was amazed to see how clean it was. I would highly recommend New Haven Apartments to all my friends and family. Just loveeee this place!!!!

My apartment is on the 4th floor and it is incredibly spacious with high ceilings, lots of windows, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a very spacious kitchen with new appliances. It's a great deal for this area which has become a cultural hub. I dont see anybody mentioning the park so I will! Call me old fashioned but I still love a good old walk in the park. Parks are literally right next door, and they are extremely beautiful. There are lots of joggers, soccer players, picnickers, and all kinds of great people enjoying the park and the pretty fountains during the day in the summer. And you just can't beat the location. Zara is close to all the good restaurants and grocery stores etc. Everything is a short 5 to 10 minute walk away. The office staff is always very clear and upfront about the fees, and they all make sense. Never had a problem with heating. If I ever had any maintenance problems, one quick call is made in the morning, and before you know it everything is fixed. I've lived in several apartment buildings in the Queens area, and nothing's better than Zara. It doesn't claim to be absolutely perfect, but it’s better than everything else I know. Highly highly recommend!!

I toured many of their apartments before finding the perfect one in the Jamaica area. I was surprised actually to find such a beautiful apartment in the Jamaica area and at such a great price! Zaras apartments really reflect the luxury that their company name has in it. Everything looked so brand new in the apartment and it was very spacious. The move in process was straight forward, smooth and professional. Everything is walking distance to my building, from parks to grocery stores, restaurants, and apparel stores. The trains are near by (E, F, LIRR) and there are many buses, which makes it very convenient to live in the area. I’ve been living with Zara for a few months now and I can also say the office staff have been very understanding and helpful by working with me during the COVID-19 pandemic. They even gave us free masks! What more could you ask for? Rent here!

We’ve had our ups and downs over the years but in the end they always treated us fairly and have gone above and beyond on a few occasions to help us out. I personally work with Rishaad on a one to one basis and he has always been super helpful to us when we need help with anything check-related. They always treat us professionally and Rishaad is always very courteous on the phone or in emails to us. Today we disputed that few invoices were unpaid and he calmly and patiently explained that they were in fact paid and it turns out he was right. It is really important to me that the apartment that i live in is nice and comfortable and to my liking because I spend allot of time at home since I tele-commute. With that in mind, about 6 months ago, I decided to look for an apartment. I came across zara online and gave them a call. A tour was set up quickly and I was impressed by what I saw. I had a million questions which I think is pretty normal for such a big move. They answered everything to my satisfaction and so I made the move and signed the lease. Like I said, it’s been six months so I thought I’d come on here and leave a review. This is great place to live. The neighborhood is amazing and the office staff is extremely helpful to us. They bend over backward to get you the help that you need. Thats what I like about them the most. They also try to accommodate your suggestions and resolve your issues as quickly as they possible can. Definitely recommend!

Zara is THE place to live. I've lived here for ten years. Before Zara took over the building, it was a complete mess. The previous landlord was unable to upkeep the building’s maintainence. But all of that has changed after it was taken over by Zara Realty, where the building has now become a safe haven to live. From the old to the new, I now have stainless steel appliances, polished wooden floors to walk on and best of all, a great building supervisor who is courteous and looks out for the residents. Everyone who works here is really nice and friendly. So right off the bat, thumbs up for that. Maintenance crew works fast and they’re VERY VERY respectful. Thumbs up there also. I LOVEE my apartment. Big and spacious. Like lots and lots of room. Well it’s just me who live here so that helps also. Love the new appliances in the kitchen too. They come in handy when I’m experimenting in the kitchen with cooking :) Last summer, they held resident parties where they handed out free food and drinks and had music and face painting and the whole works. They also held a Halloween event and Christmas parties. I went to all of them. Was awesome. Loads of fun. The people who live here, Im happy to say are nice decent family people. We have been residing here in this building for 4 years now and we plan to continue living here for the foreseeable future. We abolsutely love the place and the staff for many many reasons. First off, the location is perfect. It is within walking distance of nearly everything…many popular restaurants and stores, many offices, including my own, hardware store, drug store, clothing stores, grocery stores, anything you can possible want is literally a block away. Love that about this neighborhood and other neighborhoods like this. Like i said, basically everything you need is right around the block - not the slightest exaggeration. The subway is also a block away. How can you beat that? You can’t! The management is also great. The sound proofing of the apartments is extremely good. We can't hear anything from our neighbors. How is that even possible? I don’t know but it is if you live here. That’s a good thing because noise nuisance can be a serious problem at apartment buildings. I know this from past experience. I honestly used to think that noise complaints, hearing your neighbors play bad music at odd hours and other noise related problems like those were inevitable annoyances of living in an apartment building, but Zara has shown me otherwise. Definitely something that people take for granted.

The experience at Zara has been nothing short of amazing. Glossy wooden floors. Impeccable stainless steel appliances. Humungous rooms. We have ZERO regrets about renting here. Our Super is a really nice guy. He responds to our concerns as quickly as he can. On certain occasions, I wish he would be quicker but I know that’s just us being a little unreasonable. I speak to friends who rent at other places and they say our Super’s response time is really fast so I’m not gonna complain about that. We’re up on the 11th floor and the view of Queens from up there is craaaaazzzzzzyyyyy. It’s Queens like you’ve never seen it before. Whenever we have visitors, it’s always fun to watch their reactions during sunset. Everyone is blown away. I guess we lucked out with this apartment.

IN ADDITION, MY APT IS ON THE EAST WHERE THE SUN RISES AND LIGHTS UP MY ENTIRE APT AND I DON'T HAVE TO USE ELECTRICITY DURING THE DAY AND I SAVE ON ENERGY LOL. CAN'T THANK ZARA REALITY ENOUGH. I found it ridiculous for someone to be forced to add someone on the lease and pay and extra 200 to have any additional sets of keys...I could understand them not wanting to give out extra keys to the front gates for security purposes but the key to your apartment not being able to have an extra one is ridiculous...in case of an emergency you should have an extra set
