My husband and I were looking for a house for 7 months before we found Renae. First realtor tried talking us out of buying, the second never looked for houses just waited for us to. Then he tried talking us into buying the first house we viewed with a cracked slab throughout the whole house. Finding Renae was a blessing in disguise. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand from the making the offer, to working with the mortgage banker, and the title company. This made it really easy to navigate as first time home owners. Satsuma is the best real estate company. Both the seller’s realtor and Blair were from the same company and never once did we feel like there was communication outside of what was best for each client. Buddy King was fantastic. We could not have asked for a better outcome. He literally sold our house so fast we didn’t even get a chance to put up a for sale sign. And that is quite a feat since neither my wife or I were in town and I have the insane schedule of a night shift travel nurse. UPDATE!: Joe kept us updated with texts and emails every once in awhile, and then it happened, the perfect house went on the market for us in Algiers. He helped us put in an offer and was working with documents till late into the night so we could get our offer in. After the offer was accepted he helped coordinate inspections, crafted a well thought out response to get repairs/cash at closing, and got us into our house with no drama. an A+ experience overall that I would highly recommend to anyone whether they are ready to buy today or even think it might be years till they might be able to afford their own home. But with grad school came student loans that complicate my financial position. Joe took the time to advise me on traditional and both FHA loan options, even putting me in touch with an actual person at a lender to learn finer details of the process!
