I worked with Richard Newman to find a condo to purchase in downtown Minneapolis. Richard is knowledgeable, steadfast, and patient. He knows the Minneapolis market and especially the downtown condo market. He listened to my needs and gave sound advice throughout the process - and was a calm presence in the sometimes stressful search for a new home. He was always on time for every showing and is excellent at communicating and staying on top of everything. I highly recommend Richard and DRG!

I have worked with Joe and DRG two times now both for buying and selling a condo, and I am currently using them for a third time simply because they are a great group of people. Each process has been super smooth. Joe and the DRG team are very responsive: If there is a condo I want to see they get a showing very quickly and definitely work around my schedule. When there were things that needed to be fixed in the condo I was selling, they knew people to do it and got it all done with little effort needed from myself, which is great for busy people. My partner and I decided to look for a condo to purchase, it was our first time ever purchasing something as we’ve always rented. We were a bit nervous going into the process as we’ve heard the typical horror stories like the competitiveness in the Twin Cities and all the struggles that go with the buying process. We couldn’t be more happy with reaching our to DRG. Our realtor Paul Begich made us feel so comfortable and at ease from the moment we met with him. He walked us step-by-step through the different processes and what to expect. He provided awesome recommendations for Mortgage Brokers, Inspectors, Title Companies, etc., we didn’t even have to go hunting for anything ourselves. We basically can’t believe how insanely easy this process was and we got the perfect condo on the first try. Not one hiccup in the process. My boyfriend and I worked with Ana after viewing a dozen properties, and she was awesome. She listened to what we need/want in a home, and we found what we wanted as soon as we walked into the 3rd property. Our schedule was tight and Ana worked quickly with us. If you are new to the area or looking for the best deals, DRG should be your first contact. We highly recommend you to work with Ana if you are looking to lease/buy.

Additionally she was in contact with me throughout the entire lease-signing process, walk-through on move-in day, and then followed-up with me to see if everything went according to plan. Faith Calvin handled all the lease documents with me and her e-mails and correspondence were thorough, easy to read, and timely. Finally, Matt Decker did the walk-through with me prior to moving in. Moving Downtown can be stressful, each condo has there own specials, amenities, layouts, parking, price points etc. I searched endlessly on craigslist, rentcom, than I was blessed to come across DRG. Michelle at DRG took my phone call and made this littlery a 2 step process. Michelle listened to my needs in what I was looking for in a condo in Minneapolis. I am very picky but she put together 4-5 condo's to go and look at. Each one had there own unique twists and my needs. I ended up picking the 4MARQ. Michelle never pressured me during this process. She knew the area and answered all my questions, and believe me, I had many questions. She was always available day or night to answer my questions and stay in touch. The best experience I would say with DRG is the relaxed, professional, and non pressured staff. I would recommend working with Michelle in a heart beat. I moved from a suburb to the big city and working with Michelle and DRG has been stress free 100%. There are not enough words to explain my experience with DRG and Michelle. I wanted to write a short review of my experiences with DRG and specifically Aleksa Montpetit. DRG initially helped me find a short term apartment unit when I needed to find something quickly. Later I choose them to help me find a more permanent situation. This is where Aleksa did an outstanding job in meeting my expectations. She was patient, helpful and extremely accommodating as we viewed many units in Minneapolis. She made great suggestions along the way and ultimately helped me locate a unit that met all of my needs. I would give Aleska the highest recommendation.

I first met Joe Grunnet and the team at DRG in 2011 when I began to explore the Minneapolis condo market. Joe blew me away with his professionalism as well as his knowledge of the market. Even though I held off buying at that time, Joe stayed in touch and made himself available to answer any questions I had. When I finally decided the time was right to buy in 2014, I didn't even consider using any other company. Not only does the team at DRG know the market better than anyone else in Minneapolis, they also know the people in the market (including who is looking to sell their place). Joe was able to find us our dream condo before it ever went to market. The entire process was seamless and Joe was there at closing with a bottle of champagne. Even after closing, Joe and his team continued to help, connecting us with an amazing interior decorator and keeping us up-to-date on the latest happenings in the neighborhood. While I can't even begin to imagine selling our dream home, I know that if/when I do, I will be calling DRG. UPDATE - Early this summer I was offered a relocation opportunity that I couldn't pass up. I knew that no one would be better equipped to help us sell our North Loop condo than Joe and his team. DRG was able to lock down an all cash offer to sell our place at an amazing price. No one knows the North Loop market better than Joe, and as a result, he recognized how the renovations/upgrades to our condo made it truly unique. The entire process from listing to closing was seamless, and DRG kept us in the loop throughout the entire time. Besides showing up at closing with a bottle of wine and a moving present, Joe also went out of his way and took care of forwarding a package to us that was sent to our prior address. I cannot say enough good things about Joe Grunnet and DRG!!!

Without a doubt, Downtown Resource Group has been reliable and professional in every aspect. We trust them to handle all of the screening of new tenants, interactions with the tenants and handling maintenance issues. We had some difficulty with faulty washing machines and needed to bring in repair services multiple times and DRG was able to handle it all with dignity and respect for tenant and the tremendous imposition it had on them.
