Mike was an exceptional realtor. We were impressed with his level of knowledge on the market, neighborhoods and his strategic mindset. We moved from CA to WI and did everything virtually. Mikes extensive knowledge made our cross country move possible and less stressful. We ended up buying a house without seeing it in person and were very confident in Mike’s expertise and the information he provided about the home. If that doesn’t demonstrate what an exceptional realtor Mike is, I don’t know what will! Mike and his team were very responsive, always professional and worked diligently in finding us our dream home. Are you looking for someone who is knowledgeable and knows the real estate market inside and out, then look no further!! Mike was phenomenal during our experience. We called him out of the blue with a house we were interested in. He made the appointment and made time for us hours later! He did a thorough check of the house, pointing out things he thought could be concerning and positives of the home. We didn’t end up with that house, but when our dream house hit the market, we messaged him at 5:30am and he had an appointment by 8:45am! Mike was an asset during the process. He guided us to help make informed decisions, but allowed us time to decide what was right for us. He was also always just a text message away, answering at all hours. That’s above & beyond! In addition to Mike, I thought we had the best possible mortgage rate until I began working with Heather at their brokerage. They were able to beat the market. As stressful as buying a home is, this was the best experience from end to end! I don’t want to buy or sell my house again, but if I do there is no question who I’m calling. I can’t recommend homestead realty any higher!

Mike Borowski is a dynamo! I needed to sell my home quickly in order to purchase another property, and Mike went into action (right along with me). He had professionals to recommend who got my large home in sparkling condition for the photo shoot, he worked both sides of the home sales, representing and advocating for my interests, and he quickly brought me up to speed on the contract verbiage so I could bring the paper work along as quickly as possible. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful while we were walking through homes. We probably looked at 20-25 homes with him and he was always happy to make it work and try to group showings together, for days and times that would work best for us. He was also very helpful on how to make the best offer and negotiating. He was also able to help us sell our condo to my nephew for a very minimal fee so we would have that for our down payment. The finance team was also very attentive. My only complaint was that there was a good amount of stuff we had to do last minute with little notice with the 21 day close, but that's also part of a quick close. Super easy to work with everyone. We will definitely be keeping in touch with him and recommend him to anyone else we know looking to buy/sell a home. Just a great person all around :)

My husband and I were buying our first house and Mike was the perfect person to lead us through the process. If you want a realtor who gives you lots of options, is willing to work on your behalf, and doesn't pressure you to make decisions you're uncomfortable with, you've found the right guy. While showing us properties, he not only talked about the property itself, but also gave us tips and tricks for home maintenance and what to look for. For example, while in the basement he gave us a rundown of furnaces, water heaters, and air conditioners, showing us how to find out how old they were, what the average shelf life was, and what an average repair/replacement would cost. Once we were ready to put in an offer, he and his team guided us through the paperwork and answered the many questions we had about what the legal terms meant. He respected our decisions and went above and beyond to make sure things were complete and correct. Our seller wasn't willing to negotiate too much, but Mike (a) put up a hard fight to get us a good deal and (b) respected our decision to accept what the seller was willing to give since we loved the property. Finally, Mike put us in touch with all the people needed to make the process go smoothly. He recommended a mortgage broker, gave us a list of home inspectors he trusted, and an insurance guy. Again, Mike was fabulous in that he gave us options and opinions, but our decision was respected. For example, he never gave me shade for using my own insurance company rather than the broker he recommended. He's also just a chill dude to work will, very personable and good at what he does. I enjoyed chatting with him in the midst of the official paperwork and shop talk.
