We had a great experience working with Suzanne and highly recommend her and her team. She was always available, very communicative, and answered every question we had (and more). She and her team made buying a home easy! Suzanne helped us navigate a changing housing market with ease. Searching for a new home on the other side of the country was challenging, but Suzanne and Trisha made it much easier than we expected. One of things we found most valuable was the extensive knowledge that Suzanne has of Manchester and the surrounding area. It was incredibly helpful to two people moving from out of state that know little about NH. They even helped us navigate a last minute offer on a house while we were on a plane flying back from Manchester to Seattle, WA! I never thought I would try to buy a house from a plane! Suzanne helped us to sell our home and find new a home all without being homeless in between! She put our home under contract very quickly and we looked at many houses until we found the perfect one. On moving day we ran into some problems and needed help getting the last of our items into the moving truck. My wife and I have been thinking about down sizing for the past two years. Eight years ago we purchased a cottage on a lake in North East Pennsylvania near where my wife grew up. We have been spending seven months out of the year living in PA and have considered living there full time. Our kids moved away, one living in Colorado and the other living just south of Albany, NY, we decided this was the best time to move. I had spoken to several people in my American Legion Hall about down sizing and moving, two had recently completed a move. They indicated that with the real-estate values being high and our kids moved away it would be a good time to sell. I had known Karen Rivard’s husband for several years and had met Karen not knowing she was in real estate. When I did find out I asked her many questions about selling our house prior to deciding on a realtor. After several sessions talking with Karen I was convinced she and ReMax were the best team to represent us. She started off by advising me to get the house inspected and work on fixing the problem areas. This was the best advice as it opened our eyes to what was needed to be done prior to putting the house on the market. We really enjoyed the interaction we had with Karen and she always listened to us and was aware of our needs. I had a 2 family house to sell and I decided to look for the best agent around so I started searching and found Suzanne Damon's name kept coming up. So I called and didn't realize she was on vacation out of country and when she called back, she used my name, looked me up and already knew which house I was selling and had looked up the comps and was ready to rock. I knew I had found the right agent. She had to work with my existing tenants and weather and other issues, we weren't the easiest customers, but she had me a buyer at our open house and it wasn't the highest offer, and she knew which one to take (not everyone can afford the house they wish they could.) We ended up having problems with the buyers finance company and Suzanne went to bat to make sure things were being taken care of. She's a tough cookie! Her and her office manager, Trish, did a lot of work to make sure we were being taken care of. Wrapping it up here: Everyone was telling me selling a house in this market is a piece of cake, or telling me I should use their neighbor or friend. Don't listen, get Suzanne on the case. Lots of issues came up during our sales process, Suzanne has been there done that. You don't want a rookie!

A testimony to the devoted efforts of Bruce Chamberlain. We began our search for a new home last May 2020. Our initial plan to rent our home and travel while searching for a new home with a barn was crushed by the pandemic. Traveling and stopping along our route in an RV trailer was not welcomed in a lot of states and ever changing with CoVid 19 red zones. So we stayed at a campsite in New Hampshire and started packing up the "homestead" after 26 years and prepared the house to be put on the market. During our Spring/Summer staycation in NH Stephen found Bruce Chamberlain during an on-line search of realtors. Bruce served to be a perfect fit for us. We are semi-retired and new exactly what we would want and exactly what our budget would be. He never pushed us beyond that goal. For months and approximately 7 properties in all areas of New Hampshire, Bruce was always happy to meet us for showings and travelled many miles. One time in particular we travelled to Lancaster and then to Berlin all in the same day!! Bruce is genuine. Always very honest in guidance with regard to the condition of properties and even helping us with understanding NH regulations. Always patient and understanding. We were moving from Massachusetts with far different regulations and requirements for buying and selling. And finally, when we were about to throw in the towel. Stephen called Bruce to ask if he could arrange for us to see a property he found on Craig's list! And there it was, our dream. A house with a couple of barns! We closed on October 16, and on the morning of October 17, while sipping coffee in our new kitchen, Stephen started slurring his speech. With a back-ground in nursing, I knew right away it was a stroke. Stephen spend the next few days in the hospital and I was all alone, a stranger in a strange land with no heat (the furnace was an issue of the sale, Bruce negotiated for us). Bruce checked in on us frequently and even stopped by and helped bring wood in for the fire place, an electric space heater and electric blanket. It was so comforting to me in those few touch-and- go days. Stephen is recovering well and will be back to himself soon. We love our new home, and have many exciting plans for the future. Out son-in-law asked over the weekend if I missed the house in Massachusetts and I honestly felt that I really didn't because the journey we had been on and the home we found was exactly what we dreamed of.
