I told him what I was looking for which was a safe neighborhood that included parking as well as was close to my work and he recommended the perfect apartment for me. He had excellent communication skills from the moment I first scheduled the showing until I signed the lease and is still following up with me to ensure I am getting all the help and assistance I need throughout this entire process. I have had a great experience searching for a studio in Los Angeles with Red Oak Enterprises. This is my first time in a while finding a place for myself and that has been extremely overwhelming. Through Red Oak, I have been assisted both virtually and in person through each step of this process. Staff who have shown me each unit have been courteous, genuine, friendly and extremely informative. I have applied to a unit that was both in EXCELLENT condition and in a great location near where I work. I have been loving the options for available units and I believe the Red Oak staff will do what they can to work with you and your circumstances. Working with a leasing company is a game changer!!! Red Oak has the nicest homes for rent and they treat you so well! Josh was extremely accommodating when it came to setting up a viewing for an apartment. They worked super quickly to get me approved. Red Oak is the best apartment rental company out there. After working with an apartment rental company I cant see myself ever going through a management company again. Red oak has tons of amazing properties and the showing agents had tons of availability to show me the apartment when I wanted. One of the biggest perks was that I filled out and paid for one application and was able to transfer it to all the different owners and management companies. I actually chose this company based on its reviews. Its not always that a company actually has REALISTIC yelp, google, social media reviews. I can’t honestly say that I share the same experience as the others listed here. THIS IS my experience with red oak EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN, this was mine which was very disappointing and puzzling. We recently had a death in the family. my husband traveled for the master’s program. we all needed to mourn in our own way. I came across one of their vacancies. I applied BUT for viewings the questionnaire did not meet my circumstance. DESPITE VIEWING THE ACTUAL UNIT when driving by at night to see the area, noon and then morning……..gardner’s were present-THE GATE WAS OPEN. when walking the grounds, to discovery so was the unit(which was awesome especially due to my work schedule). I did a live video for my husband who gave approval for me to apply. Was very spacious unit, tons of natural light, wood floors and excellent closet and cabinet space. In applying, I received a call back-but missed the call. At work, my cell is kept on do not disturb. I returned the call via text as well as voice message same day. I didn’t receive a return reply at all for eitha contact. I then reached out AGAIN the following day. Near close of business I received a call back(they aren't the best with returning contact BUT they do return the contact which i feel is the MOST important point of it all). Despite my name for “sum” is hard to pronounce I refer to most as wes………..NONE representative were mindful, considerate OR reflective of that preference-mispronounced my name TERRIBLY. Respectfully I remained focused on the purpose of the contact. REAL ESTATE AGENTS DON’T MAKE MISTAKES IN THEIR DAY TO DAY PROFESSIONAL CRAFT JARGON. I was told a lease was signed with no money exchange. I HAVE NEVA IN ALL MY LIFE HEARD OF ANYONE HAVING THE ABILTITY TO SIGN A LEASE WITHOUT PAYING IN FULL, HAVING A PRIOR AGREEMENT TO DO SO but I was told their was NO SET TIME LIMIT for the other applicant to pay the due fee’s in full. What owner does that? seemed really strange and unbelievable to me. we were all very disappointed, nice location for my son to have went to school, seemed quite safe, reasonable monthly fee as well as credit check fee. Lease is not something a real estate agent would mix with holding fee. The staff seemed nice, “somewhat” friendly BUT there just something OFF about the entire experience to us though as I had to share it with the kids. NOT THIS ISN’T TO BE CRUEL OR BITTER about not getting the unit we desired @ my husband approving for me to apply BUT to question a policy of NOT having a set time limit to hold a unit when not having all your funds??? TO HAVE A SIGNED AGREEMENT and not pay? owners nor companies do things as that-JUST SAYING. Now they did give me the option to select another one of their vacancies which was cool. BUT AFTER THAT EXPEREINCE my husband said don’t try for another of their vacancies.

Jacob was highly responsive over email and put me in touch with the right people to guide the process. Josh was helpful in making sure I'd be able to see places despite being remote. Autumn went above and beyond, offering amazing support and advice. She was super genuine and communicative, and I felt like she really had my back and best interests in mind. Once my application was accepted, Michelle provided clear instructions on next steps and how to move forward. She was great at making sure things were on track with the owner and communicating updates to all parties. I would highly suggest using Red Oak enterprise to anyone looking for an apartment. Not only is the layout online pretty user-friendly, the pictures are great, the descriptions are on point, and it’s so easy to book an appointment to see a place. Josh was my agent in his level of service is beyond expectation. Josh literally goes above and beyond - i’ve been in my place for two weeks now and I still can text him about an issue and he will respond immediately. He still keeps that relationship going outside of just finding you a comfortable place. I work in customer service and have worked in customer service for almost 15 years now and the level of service he gives I honestly have never seen it before. So do yourself a favor and go through Red Oak enterprise and you’ll be in luck if Josh is your agent :) 5 stars!!!!!!

I have been in contact with at least 14 different property companies over the last couple months since being transferred to LA, and the experiences have ranged from stressful to plain old rude to no contact back and a complete lack of care. That is the opposite with Red Oak and Jordan. I’ve worked with a ton of real estate agents trying to find an apartment and none have been nearly as friendly and responsive as Josh. He’s quick to text back if he can’t take a call, and really goes the extra mile with his showings. He even offered to squeeze us in at the end of the day despite his super busy back to back schedule! Truly a unique and great agent to work with. Huge kudos to Red Oak as well, they’re super responsive (much more than a lot of other agencies that just ghost you or take days to reply back) and are willing to work with you to find your perfect apartment😊 I would highly recommend surpassing all the other waste-your-time agencies and work directly with Red Oak and their great team!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't be fooled by the conveyance of kind gestures. LA is a competitive town. I took valuable time off a busy schedule to be one of the first to arrive at a newly renovated property. While the featured unit had garnered most of the attention, I took to it to look at two other available units. I expressed interest in all three, and ended up applying to the third, which had gone nearly unseen by other renters. After submitting my application, sufficient time passed without a word. I followed up several times, was transferred around, etc. Weeks pass, and they tell me that the property owner has gone radio silent. A fascinating turn of events. I then asked for my application fee to be refunded. Several more weeks go by. I follow up, again. I get a "I apologize for the delay. I just reached out to follow-up to make sure that this gets taken care of." from a Jacob Weiss. He's now persistently avoided my emails. I gave him a chance to settle things informally, as to not leave a hasty review. I can tell you that these reviews must be phony. This isn't the sort of company you want to sign a contract with. They will take your deposit and run. Save yourself the headache, look elsewhere. Update: I received a text from VP of Red Oak (Rafi), personally apologizing for this mishap. We had a brief phone conversation, in which he disclosed that the gentleman who was in communication with me was no longer part of the team. That's plausible. What impressed me was the turn around time. Less than 24 hours of my review, he contacted me and made things right by expediting a refund. Also, at no point in the conversation did he mention altering the review in any sort of way. I believe in what's fair. Customer service says everything you need to know about a company. Mistakes DO happen. We are after all, human. If one of their listings peaks your interest, my advice would be to proceed with caution and document any conversations you have. (This is just smart business regardless). I'm bumping up my review from 1 star to 3 for the service.

Easy way to apply and great communication, very responsive and also always available. Joshua was super helpful in this process, he got in touch with me and helped me lock-in the apartment that I was looking for. I got my apartment in just a few days! I went to look at 2 units at an apartment building at 1822 Garfield Place in Hollywood. I normally can't stand 3rd party leasing & property management companies. I never get to talk to any actual person, it's always an auto reply, and when an agent shows up (if they even do!) they do not know anything about the place I am looking at because they manage so many properties and I often feel rushed. This time was different! Red Oak Enterprises does have auto responses, but also includes an actual phone number of the agent I will be interacting with, and the agent I had today was so professional and knowledgeable. Jailan Bell replied to all of my texts promptly. I was about ten minutes late and he waited for me. I never left like I was an inconvenience to him. He make me feel comfortable to look at both units as long as I wanted to. There were other potential renters looking as well but I still felt as if he was there just for me! Jailan Bell is amazing, and I wish he was the showing agent for the whole city of Los Angeles!

They make browsing through properties and scheduling showings (through showmojo) simple and straightforward. I would like to personally thank Michelle Z. For helping my gf and I lock in our new Glendale Condo lease agreement. (lease starts tomorrow) She was very informative and assisted us with clear detail as to what we needed to provide in order to speed up the application process and get approved for this property lease. She was clear, consistent, very friendly, and handles her job with high caliber professionalism. While keeping it professional, she is also tastefully casual. Her personality is an absolute delight, and she converses with genuine & authentic kindness that doesn’t make you feel like you’re just another number on the list of rental applicants. She’s fantastic at her job and I’m assuming she’s been working with Red Oak Enterprises for years. (If she’s new, her supervisors at Red Oak need to know about this hidden gem among the recently hired). Michelle Z. is absolutely outstanding! :) I originally found Red Oak through Zillow (one of the first companies to actually respond within 5 min of requesting a showing instead days or weeks later LOL) I was sent a link and was then sent to there “showmojo” profile of lsiting/showings you can schedule and apply for. Once finding this, I had no reason to return to Zillow...seriously...why look anywhere else if im trying to get a place as quickly as possible. The structure of this “middle man” company (between the applicant and property management) is literally the future of finding an apartment with ease and precision in a much shorter time frame then usually expected. There are a few other companies that use showmojo as well (Hoffman Brothers/Mcintire etc.) and I’m sure they have a similar business structure but Red Oak has that “it” factor to there listings that that I find slightly more attractive. (Or maybe I just dig the logo haha) Through them I found the listing that met all of my requirements (secure parking, kitchen appliances, ceiling fans, pet friendly etc.) I hope more companies follow this structure of bridging the gap between Future Tenant and Property Management. When first applying I didn’t think I was going to get such a hands on experience considering how many properties are on there roster....but these guys really know what they are doing. Red Oak has many properties to browse through and they provide clear details and pictures of what to expect before seeing the listing. You will be satisfied. I’ve never been as excited about moving somewhere as i am right now...thank your Red Oak Enterprises.....your existence is a true blessing....and now when people ask me “ do you know any good apartment listing sites? I’m trying to find a new place to rent in LA but don’t know where to start” The first suggestion I will make is “You should check out Red Oak Enterprises..you won’t be disappointed” Thank You Red Oak! Thank You Michelle! You guys are phenomenal :) (The following is useful tips for anyone applying that is on a limited time frame of housing relocation) Time frame: Leasing Agreement signed exactly 7 days after Application was Submitted. Keep in mind that my credit is low 600s(just above the minimum credit requirement), I’m self employed, and had to provide extensive proof of employment, I had to request a salary agreement letter from my primary client and I had to provide additional proof of income etc. my gf also had to correct an error on her co-application. These things most likely delayed the process. So if you meet the income/credit requirements, and you (or the co-applicant) doesn’t make any mistakes on the application, this time frame of “application to lease signing” will most likely happen significantly faster than my personal experience of 7 days. Have your documents ready!

A few months ago I responded to a craigslist ad for a studio apartment in Hollywood. A really nice helpful girl (I'm pretty sure her name was Kim) showed me the apartment and it was so nice! After filling out the application online I got a call from Emmy and she was sooo nice and helpful and it was so easy to get the least signed.
