FS Houses is a fantastic landlord. I’ve read a lot of these reviews and they don’t reflect a proper image of the company. It’s a lot of people complaining about deposit issues, etc.. First, the deposit fee is the lowest of any place I’ve ever rented. Second, Natalie R. took care of me in a way that I didn’t feel as if I was just a paycheck. She went the extra mile to follow up with me even later in my lease. Third, the maintenance and meld (the app they use for maintenance) is amazing. They are among the most prompt I’ve ever experienced and I haven’t received any charges for anything. This company is incredibly reasonable, responsible, and ethical. Not only would I rent from them, but I would go so far as to even buy one of their properties. They have amazing locations and an incredible staff that cares. If you’re looking to rent, rent from FS Houses. It’s brought me an immense amount of peace that I didn’t have in my life. They are reliable, fair, and kind.

I rented here for a year and a half as I was in the process of buying a house. The landlord was very flexible with adding a 6 month lease to my initial year lease. Any repairs were performed in a timely manner and there is overall fantastic communication. Natalie Watson in particular always answered my questions quickly and was a huge help anytime I needed it, not to mention very kind and professional. This is the best place I've rented from in Indiana, I highly recommend.

I started my application this week and it seems the process is moving quickly. Natalie seems like a nice person from the few interactions we've had. I just pray I get approved so my nieces and I can downsize into something more comfortable. Went and looked at the property I applied for and it's perfect! It's so much closer to the nursing homes I service everyday and there is a school right across the street my niece can switch to. In my opinion FS Houses is recommended.

So I bought my house with David Skidmore back in 2015 and sold it in 2021. Both times, he listened and worked hard to get me the best deal. Communication was INCESSANT AND OVERFLOWING. David Skidmore is also funny, smart, and easy on the eyes! Watch out Indy real estate— this one is on the move. For my next Indy sale, I’m going to get in my car, use my rear view mirror to put on my best Revlon Candy Apple lip stick, play Shania Twain’s entire Come On Over album on cassette and drive over to FS Houses to get started— “Let’s Go Girls!” Thanks, David and the team!!!

I've had horrible property managers in the past so when you find a good one you know it! ... and they are the best in the biz. Highly recommend FS Houses! Ask to work with Margaret Wilson. She is incredibly personable, thorough, and great at working with your schedule. We saw houses at 8am on weekdays and 7pm on Sundays...no problem! She was a great guide in helping us navigate the ins and outs of the mortgage process and even met with us just to walk us through our loan questions when the loan officer wasn't able to make time for us. 5 star service that I couldn't be happier with!

FSHouses is a solid property management company. Ask for Ashley and Ryan and you will be taken care of. Natalie and Margaret make for a great team, great customer service. They work hard to get all your vacancies filled. They are very reasonable with repairs, maintenance issues. They do have the investors interest at heart, and it's comforting to have a team on the ground that knows Indianapolis so well. Five stars.

For the most part my rental was fine. There were issues with heat and hot water going out in the middle of the winter (2017-2018) multiple times. There isn’t an emergency line, so I had to email a bunch of people. They also had workers do house maintenance things; roof, pipes, and other things for about 2 months straight during the summer. Pest control is not included in their rent, so I had to have someone come out at least 3 times. Which never took care of the roach problem. Hopefully after I moved out they took care of it.
