I had a mixed bag for a review and maybe it's my expectations vs offerings that lead to a disparity resulting in my review score. The team is helpful, there's no doubt about that. Your house will sell and it'll be a fairly painless experience (buyer issues notwithstanding). The team is on top of everything within the process of selling my home and the closing went smoothly for me. If I had any questions, they'd be answered in a timely manner and I would do my best to get any documents or answers back to them as well. Where my review starts to falter is where I expected things that might be different from the services being offered. I had help from my partner who is a Realtor make the referral to this team (she was out of state and not licensed to work in Indiana). Her style of work is relational; she gets to know clients and connects with them to give them the best service. This team felt transactional; they got the job done efficiently. While there's something to be said for getting business done, I was really looking more for a relationship and a rapport built with the team while selling my house. It felt like it was "get to the closing table at all costs" which is understandable considering I was moving out of state in a difficult situation revolving around the home, but I wish I had a little more of an fun working relationship with the team. All in all, if you want your house to sell, it will and you'll have a team behind you that knows the business and will help with anything related to real estate but if you want to feel connected with the team as people outside the real estate transaction and have that personal touch, I would go with a smaller team.

I would give 10 stars if I could!!! I’d never sold a house before and heard horror stories from friends about their experiences. I was mentally preparing myself for a long, drawn out process with setbacks and tears. I found the Evelo Team from an internet search and gave them a call. I was impressed from that first phone call to closing (and beyond!). Everyone that I had contact with was helpful and wonderful! I worked with Lauren Bauer who walked me through the process and was in constant communication the entire time. She was extremely prompt returning texts and calls. When I felt like the sky was falling, she was very reassuring and ALWAYS had a great solution. My house was marketed extremely well, and we had an offer on the second day. We will be selling our other house within the year and will definitely call Lauren!!! You should too! You won’t be sorry.

I'll start by saying that I knew NOTHING about the home buying process. Guess what? It didn't matter because I had the Evelo Team to teach me every little thing. Terrance Perkey was my realtor. He can walk into a home and know EXACTLY what to look for. As I was looking at all the pretty and shiny things, Terrance was walking every inch. Looking in every attic. Looking in every basement. Listening to every sound. Looking for any water spots. I was blown away at home he knew everything and if he didn't know an answer he could call a guy or girl and have the answer almost immediately. He is a mover and a shaker and was ALWAYS ready at the drop of a dime to look at any home I wanted to see. I felt like I was his only Client, but I know that wasn't the case. Phil, the Finance guy was always available by phone, text, email, etc.I don't think I truly had to wait more than 20 mins for an answer to any question I had. Megan and kasi in the office were EXCEPTIONAL!! They are magic workers. They are so organized and thorough. They know all the tips and tricks. They also were so responsive that I felt like I was the only person in their world 🌎! Always upbeat, kind, and honestly caring!! This market during covid has been a true beast, but my team helped me to find my dream home in my dream neighborhood. I had an FHA loan which many people didn't want to mess with, but THE EVELO TEAM helped me find a home for LESS than what it was listed for which in this time I thought was going to be impossible. Choosing the right realtor plays a big part in the home buying experience. Making sure personalities, energy, communication and goals match is well worth the interviewing process and I strongly suggest you interview before you build your home buying team. My wife and I had a bad experience before getting referred to the Evelo team by a family member. Terrance, Kara, Hanna, Jimmy, Sam and Megan were all great. They took great care of us. We had a lot of bumps and hurdles along the way but they made sure to take a lot of the hits for us. This housing market is vicious and they kept us grounded and really had our best interest at heart. We named them “ The Dream Team”. We found our first home and couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend to friends, family and strangers and we will use them again for our next home.
