Texas Renters is great at quickly resolving any issues you may have. I recently submitted a work order on Saturday for my AC not working properly and since they are usually closed on Saturday and Sunday I thought for sure the earliest would be Monday. That wasn't the case, I recieved a phone call on Sunday morning regarding my work order and they sent an AC technician early in the morning to resolve my issue. I am really grateful since this Texas heat has been brutal, they were able to resolve my issue as quickly as possible! The OFFICE STAFF is very respectful and quick to answer any questions I have down to the little dumb ones. I will recommend TexasRenters to all my friends and colleagues. I WILL NEVER HAVE ANYTHING BAD TO SAY.

They helped me right away with a heating issue, fixed my tenant portal log-in, walked me through how to create a Meld ticket and had someone at my property 2 hours later! Being it was my first time renting a house, I had several questions as to what was my responsibility vs the landlord and things I needed to get done. It’s different than being in an apartment but all my questions and emails were replied to in a timely manner. I am a home owner that has started building a rental business. I recently switched management of one of my homes to Texas Renters. Andrea was my leasing agent. She met me at the house prior to make ready immediately after the home became available. She suggested rental rates and she agreed that we should be able to lease quickly based on our agreed upon price. Andrea was professional, timely in her responses and was in general a nice person. I am leasing a town house in the Galleria area of Houston. One recent Sunday night I arrived home and went up stairs to get ready for bed. It was around 9pm. It had been a hot and dry day. When I stepped into the master bedroom it was like I was stepping outside into a rain storm. There was a valve connected to the water heater that was not working properly and it was literally raining in my bedroom. I have no idea when it started as I was gone most of that day. I could not find the main water shutoff and was not aware at the time that it was the water heater. I thought I had a pipe that must have burst. I logged into the Tenant Portal immediately and left a "high" priority emergency maintenance request. I also called the after hours emergency line and left a message with the answering service. I stayed logged in and saw that the answering service also left a high priority emergency maintenance request on the same Tenant Portal that I used. Just to be safe, I also called Rescue Rooter to arrange for them to come out as I had no idea what to expect from Texas Renters. Turns out Rescue Rooter was not needed and I got to cancel that request. Jessica Gonzales with Texas Renters called me within about 15 minutes of my initial request on the Tenant Portal. She also emailed me the name of an after-hours contractor that she had already arranged to come out immediately. I then spoke to the contractor who had someone there within about an hour. Their repair crew was able to stop the leak, figure out what was going on and even make the complete repair. They were finished by about 11:30pm and even cleaned up after themselves. Jessica then followed up BOTH that night AND several times over the following days just to make sure I was okay. She even arranged for another contractor to come out to survey the areas that had been inundated with water to make sure there was no rot or mold and to treat to prevent same from occurring. All in all this was as painless an experience (considering what I came home to) as I ever could have hoped for. Jessica was AMAZING. Hat's off to Texas Renters for hiring Jessica. With people like her you guys are well represented. Thanks again. 5 Stars from this Tenant related to this experience.

At first I was overwhelmed by the amount of information that they were requiring in order to process the lease, but I guess they are looking for responsible tenants and have a set process. We had some issues in the beginning of our lease with this company and I was so angry and frustrated that I wanted to move the day our lease was up. However we gave it another chance and as time went on, things really improved. We were notified of everything from maintenance to inspections, etc well in advance and we were able to get help whenever we called with questions. We renewed our lease 3 times before finally moving out to buy a house and we had no issues through the inspection process or move-out process. We were even sent a detailed list of what our security deposit would be used for. (Which is fine because we knew it would need to be used!) all in all, it was a rough start but ended up being happy with them.

My boyfriend & I rented a home from this company from 2017-2018. We had many issues. We would receive an email telling us that an inspector was to come out to the house many times after he had already arrived. If you’re fresh out of the shower & someone is walking into your house with a key.. you could see how this could become a problem. This also happened with a photographer coming out to photograph the house, they gave us a day (no time) & said they would call to confirm. Never did. Photographer shows up unannounced. Prior to this, after month of us living In the home. They decided to then change the locks. Charging us $54 inconvenience fee because we couldn’t make it back to the house from work for the locks to be changed. Then stacked on a late fee of a total $335 even when there wasn’t a due date. They did take care of the late fee though. It’s like being a stranger in your own home. I feel like the office overwhelmed & unorganized. Seems like just a few people operate many homes. Besides being miserable here, I give three stars & not zero because Jamie did give her cell phone number to me to try to help as much as possible & she nearly responded every time. Usually apologizing for whatever the miscommunication was.. super understanding. I also received my full $1,250 deposit back which is awesome. I also find it highly unprofessional & disrespectful how they respond back to the negative reviews, posting their tenants personal business on social media. I just wish I’d read these reviews prior to moving.

On October 29th I put in a work order through the Texas Renters website. Not too long after I received a call from Zahra confirming the work order and informed me that everything will be taking care of the same day between 1pm and 3 and that she will give me a call 30 to 40 minutes before the technician arrived. She did exactly that. She was very professional and consistent from the very beginning. Early Sunday morning (12:30am) I was awakened from a leak in the ceiling. I contacted the after hours number. Left information on what was going on and waited for a call back. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by text from Natalie. She asked me some more Shortly questions and then attempted to call some plumbers. She wasn't getting a call back and she was concerned that I would have to stay up all night watching it. She texted me some suggestions and told me she would start calling around 6 to find a plumber. As promised she contacted me at 6 to see how I was doing and to let me know she was contacting the plumbers. She finally got someone and told them to contact me to let me know they were on the way. In the end she got a great contractor. They fixed the leak and the hole so we were up and running within 5 hours. But I appreciated her constantly following up to see how I was; how the repairs were coming and whether I was pleased to the plumbers work. Thanks to Natalie!!

I live in a rented town home through Texas Renters. Around 8 pm My A/C went out so I hurried and called their emergency maintenance. I explained to them the issue and that I had 2 month old baby so the sooner the better. They reassured me that maintenance would be out to fix it. They kept in contact with me through out the evening and notified me when maintenance was on his way and checked in after it was fixed. By 10 pm my A/C was back on! Jessica was extremely polite and seemed just as concerned as I was! She even kept checking on my baby. Best customer service I've ever had hands down.

I also got feedback from the tenants and they understand the rules and appreciate TR, the only complain that I had was from one tenant that had to pay for late fee when they paid their rent late. We made sure to diligently finish the paperwork the day after we saw the house (Friday) and 4 days later (Tuesday) we got approved to move into the house in one week! My husband and I have lived in our rental for almost a year now and we have no complaints. We were easily approved for the house 2 months before our requested move-in date and the process was extremely quick and convenient. Every time we put in a service request, it is usually handled in an adequate amount of time. There was a time where our AC went out and I got extremely frustrated with them because I need the house cold at all times, but we were followed up with legitimate reasons as to why it was taking them a couple weeks to resolve the issue. Good thing we were out of the country at the time so I didn't have to deal with the heat for too long. This company has good communication and emails/calls us regularly to notify us of inspections, repairs, & other requests. We have another year on the lease remaining and will probably renew if the customer service they've been providing us with is as accommodating as it is currently.

My family and I moved into our new rental about a week ago and when we moved in our water heater wasn’t working and our A/C wasn’t cooling. We called and spoke to Kim first and she had someone come and look at our water heater late one night and he restarted it but it kept going out. I needed something to be done real soon because I have three children. So Natalie had a plumber come out and we found out we needed a whole new water heater. The next day after we realized our water heater wasn’t working we notice the house was not cooling at all. I put the temperature on 60 and it was about 76 in the house again I needed this fixed as soon as possible because I have children. We called and spoke with Natalie again and she did what she had to do to get someone out to look at our A/C. By Thursday everything was working and my husband and I were so much happier about our new home. Natalie and Kim helped us out very much. They called to make sure someone came out and did the job and completed the job correctly also. I’m very thankful for these ladies help.

I am torn to leave a positive or negative review. Remy has been great. I have nothing but good things to say about her. And would give her a solid 5 stars. But honestly there has been some things that I shake my head at. For example, we were scheduled for a lease renewal inspection. Part of the inspection was a potential fee if we had to cancel the inspection with little notice or if the inspector was limited in the access in any way. Fair enough. We changed schedules and made sure they would have a good look at the house. The morning of the inspection, they called & said "something came up" and they had to cancel. Seems like if the roles were reversed, we would have had to pay a fee. Hardly fair. I also think that the distance from our house makes them seem distant. However, we pay our rent on time and whenever there is a problem, they get a contractor out there to fix it. Could not ask for more

Texas renters helped and we were able to find somone to take over our lease which was extremely nice and helpful. When it came time for our deposit I felt that they were extremely fair. We have rented 4 different places over the last 4 years and we have never gotten any of our deposit back, ever. We always owe an huge amount even though we always leave is clean and nice. Texas renters was different and we got back more than half of our deposit. The only hard thing was sometimes getting ahold of certain people but everyone was very nice even when I was probably annoying.

In the two and a half years I've lived in a home from this company I've had minimal issues. My main problem was during the time of moving out. In 60 days of you moving they turn the property over to texas realty associates. Keys will be placed around your house so realtors can show your home. Be prepared to have people walking in and at random times during the day.
