Working with the RL Property Management team was one of the best decisions I ever made as a landlord. They managed my property from 2018-2022 and in those 4 years the team handled things with such professionalism and efficiency, I am eternally grateful. I interviewed several property management teams prior to selecting them and by far they were the most professional, qualified, and most affordable in the Columbus area. I originally tried to find my own tenants and manage myself but quickly found that I had selected a professional tenant who attempted to live at the property for free and created many types of problems for me. I went to RL during this time and they agreed to take on my property and tenant and their legal team worked rigorously alongside myself and together we were able to get her to vacate the property. Moving forward they found me responsible and well qualified tenants. I plan to use RL in the future for my property management needs and I would recommend them to any property owner seeking a caring and professional team for the management of their property! We rented our house for almost 4 years and RL was one of the corporations that took over half way through. I had nothing but positive experience with the management company. They were extremely responsive to all maintenance requests we had and made the move out process extremely easy. I’m not sure why everyone is complaining about the move out charges. We have two large dogs so we expect to never receive our deposit back. When we moved out we got 80% of our deposit back and the charges were extremely fair.

They did a very good job of advertising my property for rent and they secured for me good tenants. I own one rental property and managed it myself for a couple years. I turned to RL and have been with them for about 4.5 years. Overall I think RL does a good job. They have a nice web portal and promptly respond to emails or phone calls. They are always willing to talk about issues and fully explain everything they do. They take decent care of the property and have found good stable tenants so far (2 in 5 years). I try to do annual walk-through's to see how things are first-hand. It's not perfect but overall good experiences and reasonable people. I've grown to really trust them.

I have been renting property through RL Management for a little over month. Initially there were some hiccups due to my property being a "new product" for them. But in hindsight a lot of the items were out of their control to some extent. I will say through all my frustration, Amy the manager I think, stayed quite calm and diplomatic. She honestly did try all she could to resolve issues. I had a few minor maintenance requests and they were handled extremely well. Both tech were professional and really nice. Communication is very easy through their easy to use app or I also find I get an IRL response within 24 hours of an email on average. so far all is well andI recommend this company.

They tell us the crew is quick and responsive when they have issues, and that they are pretty easy to deal with. I have been doing business with R&L for a few years now as a property owner who does not want to self-manage. They have helpful and professional staff. I have spoken with some of my tenants and they have relayed to me that the R&L team is very attentive to needed repairs, and that the maintenance staff is very professional and responsive. For property owners, R&L is very quick in handling issues related to leasing and property condition... they can be trusted to rent your units in a timely fashion and also be on the lookout for mechanical issues that may hurt future rents. They have a web portal for property owners which makes reviewing expenses and retrieving documentation for tax prep and lenders easy. Great team to do business with!

If a property needs extensive work done, they provide plenty of photos documenting the problem and try to offer more than one repair option. Peter and Adam at RL Property Management have been great to work with, very responsive, and always reasonable. Due to the house being older we had requests for fixes/updates every so often, and they were always willing to listen to requests and, most importantly, would act promptly on anything we considered urgent or important. They were also proactive by occasionally doing maintenance checks, furnace checks, and keeping us up to date on smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. I moved in May 23rd and it was everything I wanted on my house hunt list. The hardwood floors are nice the upstairs carpeting is all new, the lighting fixtures are nice to look at. The appliances are in good shape. Basement is huge. I’m on the end so my back patio is peaceful and nice although it would be nice if I had another private fenced up on the other side, and I love the blinds on the patio sliding doors great choice. Everything was freshly done as if you had just moved into a brand new apartment and the 3rd bedroom is perfect for my daughter. If you have a crappy rental, you're not going to like any property management company. My current rental is clean and well built. I have had two small leaks since moving in three months ago. RL responsed to my maintenance requests very quickly. They contacted a contractor right away and got back with me within 48 hrs. So far, I have NO complaints.

I have to say everyone I've dealt with at RL has been very helpful walking us through their approval process from the walk through to picking up the keys. We absolutely love our house! This company has been great to work with. We can pay rent online which is super convenient. They provided us with all the information for utilities so I didn't have to do any calling around. We also received an email not long after moving in letting us know about trash & recycling days and other helpful information. So far I have not had any issues with company. They took over the property in March this year. I was able to get online easy set up and account etc. When it came to new lease I had several questions which were answered in a timely manner via over the phone and email before I decided to sign. They were able to find a great family to rent our property within two weeks and that family has just renewed for their third year. All receipts and invoices are uploaded into my online account in PDF format, whether it's from a third party vendor or supplies from Home Depot. We've rented from RL Property management for a little over a year and we haven't had any real issues with them. Whenever we've had an issue or maintenance request they've been dealt with fairly quickly and the people I've talked to have been friendly and courteous. Compared to previous landlords I've had, RL is very organized (This is a plus for me). Something I REALLY like is that we can take care of most things online. You can't call and speak to a personal immediately but I have no problems with this. When there's a problem you can use the online resident portal or use email for communication. I prefer to keep things in a written format anyway (but I guess that's a personal preference lol). In regards to my personal space: my immediate neighbors are quiet, my apartment is nice, my rent is a good price, and I'm allowed to keep my cat. I'd call this a win.

Painless move-in process, was able to get everything in order and processed in a few days. Some slight confusion on what exactly was owed before I moved in, especially because it was the middle of the month, but not a huge deal. Unit was almost perfectly cleaned as well.
