I worked with Kristin to close a very competitive deal and was able to score a dream condo! Kristin was incredibly communicative, informative and supportive across the entire process. She is incredibly kind and was just as emotionally invested in this deal as I was. She even stayed up late on the phone with me helping to craft my offer. During the closing process, Kristin and her team relayed all the information to me and were seamlessly communicating with my attorney. Upon closing Kristin and her team continued to communicate with me and the free moving truck was incredibly helpful for my quick transition. Everyone in the Nancy Jenkins office that I spoke to was an absolute gem of a human, just so nice and friendly and everyone congratulated me on closing my deal. Not only does the Nancy Jenkins team handle business like true professionals, they also go above and beyond to support their clients. I had used the moving truck and accidentally left an important suit that I needed for a wedding. Tabitha reached out to me and held it at her desk for a few days and when I wasn't able to make it over to the office, she even drove it over to my house in the nick of time so that I would have it before I left town for the wedding. I was touched by their personalized approach and cannot stress enough how nice and supportive the entire team is. We recently purchased a home in the area, and after interviewing a few relators at various agencies we really clicked with Alison. Working with her was an extreme pleasure, like working with a friend and a real partner, it truly felt like she was on our side and working entirely for our interests. Her communication was always prompt and thorough. We had come from out of state and she made it feel like we were her only clients. She was on top of every detail, and during the viewings she had hawk eyes and could spot extremely subtle but important details that really helped us a lot. In the past we've worked with multiple other relators for other home transactions and always felt like they were more of a hindrance than a help, but in this case even though the house we ended up buying was being sold by owner and we had to pay a portion of the commission out of pocket, we felt like every penny was well spent. A very short-notice employment opportunity lead to my family and I moving out of state, about a four hour drive way. I had made plans to do some minor renovations over the course of a few months, and then move to selling. Things didn't quite go as planned unfortunately, and bills were really starting to pile up and paying a mortgage on a house I wasn't living in got less attractive by the day. I googled a few realtors, and not really knowing the process or how selling a house works, I just figured I'd try and choose a firm with a good reputation. It is hard to choose a realtor with so many available, and when you see so many beautiful multi-million dollar houses for sale it's easy to be concerned that maybe you won't be their most important customer. I couldn't have been more wrong. Enter Nancy Jenkins and her team. Shortly after filling out the form on the site I received a call from Alison Barges. I was immediately struck by her warm and compassionate nature as she introduced herself and asked me some questions about the property and my situation. She understood the stress I was feeling, and she made it clear that she was going to work just as hard for me as any other client, and after a little more extended conversation about the state of the market and some other particulars I was feeling far more confident about the whole situation. She kept her promises and immediately went to work doing her research, checking out the house, helping guide me on the best way to use my limited time and resources to prepare the house, and went ahead with getting the listing together. All of this without even meeting in person. Communication was frequent and thorough and I was kept apprised at every step. I can't stress enough how much easier all of this was made because of Alison's personality and work ethic. She was always available and I always felt 100% better about whatever topic was being discussed after getting off the phone. She really is an absolute pleasure to work with. Finally, after receiving and accepting an offer (which happened extremely quickly I will add, owing I'm sure to Alison and the team's marketing and pricing strategies being right on point) I then was introduced to Carol who took the wheel through the closing process. We are so grateful to have found Siobhan at Nancy Jenkins Real Estate. Due to Covid-19 we had to start our house search through zoom. Siobhan went above and beyond showing us every small detail through the camera.
