Budget Rooter makes things headache-free and affordable. The staff is really friendly. They did my water supply line that broke under my lawn and have not had any issues. I highly recommend them.

Do they get the job done? Yes. But they were a bit more destructive than I would have liked. My sewage line had to be replaced, they were quick but in the process, my storm door was broken (I was reasonably compensated for the cost of the door but left with fixing it myself). My porch walls were damaged by the jackhammer, and my driveway had to be dug up but it was very roughly done. I thought it would have been saw cut so that I could patched it but it was just dug up by a backhoe so basically patching was out of the question and I'll need a new driveway (this might be normal, but idk). Also they did a poor job covering areas where they put dirt so my entire driveway that was left was caked in dirt.

I would highly recommend. Had a pipe freeze/break and no water so I called a local plumbing company. They sent someone out who had no idea what he was doing. Didn’t even know where to locate the main water line. He left and everything was the same as before he came. Just wasted my time and money. Artesian water gave me the number to Budget Rooter and someone came out the same day. He took the time to call the Artesian tech. (who had come out to shut my water off) to get information about where the leak might be at. The next day 2 very nice young men came out and in less than an hour located the leak but was unable to get to it because the crawlspace is not accessible so they told me to have the floor inside of the house removed where the burst pipe was located. And they pinpointed the exact location. I did that and they came back the next day and it was fixed. I am truly thankful and amazed at how good they are with communicating about exactly why, what and where the issue was and then fixing it. I expected this to be very expensive job but the pricing was very reasonable and affordable. The office staff (I spoke with Amanda most of the times I called) is also very professional and friendly. I cannot thank budget rooter enough for making a stressful situation much less stressful !

Was fast to react to my call they had someone out within a couple of hours. Professional and smart the guy knew what was the problem and was able to fix it fast and without any difficulty. All round Highly recommend them from the young lady on the phone to the plumber on site everyone was excellent and pricing was very reasonable!!!

Budget Rooter should write a manual on how to grow a business. I received an immediate call back from Amanda regarding my underground water leak. That alone is a rarity these days. A crew was sent out immediately. They were extremely competent, confident in what they were doing, professional, and....amazing! They were at my house two days ago and I already see a difference from the repair that they did. They won my over and they will me called upon the next time I need any plumbing work to be done. It's refreshing to do business with a company like this. To the owner (boss)....well done!!!!

Budget Rooter was an excellent choice to repair a water service line break in the front yard! Amanda and Kathy in the office were friendly and answered all our questions. Matt came and gave a very reasonable estimate but also went above and beyond to speak with me over the phone since the work was for my mother in law’s home and I couldn’t be there when he came out. She asked if he would mind talking to me over the phone and explaining what was going on and he didn't at all. He was respectful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The work was being scheduled during the holiday and during some bad rain but the office kept in touch with us as to when the team would be out to repair. The repair team arrived on time and was quick to get to work and fix the issue. They also kept us informed as to when they would be turning the water back on. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We HIGHLY recommend using Budget Rooter!!!!

I have used Budget Rooter a few times over a year or so for pipe issues and they were professional, efficient, and reasonably priced (in the past). I called them today to repair my kitchen garbage disposal due to broken glass over the sink getting into the mechanisms of the disposal unit. The tech assessed that it would need to be replaced and the cost was $595. I thought that sounded very high considering that he unit he had with him on the truck was valued at around $100. (I immediately looked it up). I asked if $500 was their standard labor price for that kind of job. He confirmed. I paid the charge, but I really regret paying $500 labor for a job that lasted about an hour. It was a standard install...nothing funky...no crazy access issue. It was under my kitchen sink. I even told the tech upon completion that I really wasn't feeling good at all about the price. I really regret not pricing this job elsewhere. The charges weren't reasonable at all. My experience lead me to write this review 😕

Budget Rooter is by far the best plumbing company around!!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone that has any sort of plumbing issues. The are very reliable, courteous, affordable and extremely professional. Not long ago, my pipes froze and eventually ended up bursting in my home. There was water everywhere. Budget Rooter came in and fixed all of my issues promptly. Thank you Budget Rooter for saving the day and my wallet...... Respectfully a Bear, DE resident

Can't say enough about working with Budget Rooter! From Amanda in the office to Mark ,the service technician, all things went well. Very professional group and will certainly use them again. While plumbing repair isn't a pretty thing, their work reflected their knowledge and professionalism both in customer service and quality repair. I initially called due to a leak that had my kitchen floor saturated with water. After having to demo my kitchen to get to the leak, two other issues were uncovered. From the rusted out pipe, to the uncoupled vent stack to the corroded leaking pipe coming out from the back of my bathroom I had more issues than I originally thought. Each were handled beautifully and professionally. I went through a service contract on my home for drainage but Budget Rooter was out to my house within 4 hours of the claim being made. Thanks Mark and Amanda. It was great working you both.

During this time we're all leary about letting service people into our homes. We had a water issue in our basement and Michael and Jared with Budget Rooter came out. They used precautions with masks and gloves and though the masks are annoying (I find them annoying too), they wore them the whole time and though it was wet outside their boots were not dirty, they didn't track dirt into my home. They were courteous and polite and Michael did a great job explaining in understandable terms what the issue was and what it wasn't and what we could do to resolve it. Jared did a great job with the paperwork at the end. I really appreciated these guys and their service! I would definitely use again and recommend Budget Rooter! During this challenging time they are still providing service with courtesy!

We had an immediate need for a plumber at our business and after getting the run around from a few places, we contacted Budget Rooter and they had a technician out to our business within 2 hours. The technician, Tony, was a true professional. He explained everything in depth prior to doing the work and was both efficient and courteous. Also would like to compliment the Office Manager, Amanda, who's friendly and reassuring demeanor were very welcome and appreciated. I had a leak behind my bathtub in one of the drain pipes. After reading reviews of many plumbers, I called Budget Rooter out for a free estimate. I first emailed them to ask how to get the free estimate. They advised me to call and set up a time, which I did. Michael called to let me know when he would be there. He came out on time and observed the problem. He discussed various options I had to either fix it myself or how they would address it. He wrote me up an estimate before he left and I also received one in the mail from BR a couple days later. I ended up doing the repair myself and the info and advice that Michael gave me was invaluable. I would not hesitate to call them again if I have another plumbing problem.

Called Budget Rooter for a clogged kitchen sink. Spoke to a gentleman over the weekend, who advised me that I could save some money if I could wait until Monday (no problem for me). Monday morning a young lady called to confirm, get my address and set up the appointment for that day. She called back within a hour and told me the tech (including his name) was in route. Once the tech arrived and we talked briefly about my concerns and than he went right to work. He worked almost non-stop, except to occasionally inform me of his progress. Once he completed the job by freeing the clogged sink, he showed me that the water was draining quickly and freely. I was really impressed with the way he went about cleaning up everything after he was done. He did a real nice job of free my sink and cleaning up the floor and area under the sink. For all intent and purpose, you could not tell that he was ever in my house. Great job Budget Rooter, Great job Mike. Quality work at a very reasonable price

From the first call I knew I was dealing with professionals. Within two hours of my non-emergency call the technician came out and went over my issue leaving no doubt concerning the procedure and the process. I had to call my supplier to turn off the water in which time I could have been left in the lurch but only one call to Budget Rooter I was told the man was on his way. Within an hour they came and repaired; neat, clean and pretty-as-you-please. We will definitely be calling upon this company again.

I have used Budget Rooter several times and each experience has been delightful. One time I had to use them because someone dumped a whole bowl of lemon peels in my garbage disposal. I thought that I was going to have to replace the garbage disposal but Budget Rooter was able to fix it the same day. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

EXCELLENT JOB! Matt was wonderful,he went over every step of the job he was doing with me. I have had a lot of people do work on my house, Matt by far was one of the best. Being a woman who owns property sometimes people are not honest with what the problem is or how to solve it. Matt has restored my faith that there are still truly good people who just want to help others to their best ability. I had a very old type drain pipe for my sump pumps that became plugged. It was going to be costly to dig up and replace. Technicians Michael and Jared went above and beyond in thier efforts to successfully clear the pipe. The piping will eventually need replacement but it will give me time to save up and budget when the time comes. Great, friendly and fair service.
