Had a leaking ring, replaced ring and sealed nice. Had another issue with the main drain being clogged, they will be working on that next. Good service, professional. Update: replaced my drain line due to Terra cotta pipes and age, installed a city access point for city to clear their clog. All clogs done, price reasonable, yard looks fine afterwards and no back ups. Overall pleased with work done. I'll update yard photo soon.

We called Roto-Rooter because both our toilets were clogged. Come to find out my son had put objects down both toilets. Alonzo came out and fixed them both on a Monday. He was wonderful, quick, and professional. One of them clogged again on Thursday so he came back out and took care of that one. Not my son this time, the toilet just can’t flush too much toilet paper at one time. He gave some recommendations for new toilets to look at for the future. I wish the warranty lasted longer than a week but I would recommend their services for sure!

He is phenomenal 🤩💯 He found the problem and not only that he found that we in home DID NOT cause the problem he found that there was extremely decomposed old we decomposed old baby wipes blocking up the sewer system. Terrance Collins showed up late in the evening to a backed up toilet that was at risk of overflow. Throughout the hours spent troubleshooting Terrance was personable and educational, keeping my wife and I up to date about what he was doing to solve the problem. After discovering that the entire toilet would need to be pulled to solve the clogged pipe, Terrance offered to pull the toilet and work the issue despite not being agreed upon initial arrival. Staying until almost 9:30pm to clean up and triple check his work, it is safe to say that Terrance went above and beyond his expected duties and delivered exceptional service.

Hunter and Kevin saved my family’s lives. The attention and care that went into our water heater installation led them to recognizing an exhaust duct issue that led to years of exhaust being pumped into our floor boards leaving burns in our insulation and on our floor joists. This problem was missed by multiple home inspectors as the house was built in 2005 and we are the fourth owners.The space with the issue was directly below the room where both of my children sleep. If for some reason the detach duct got blocked, that toxic gas would’ve had nowhere to escape. Thank god my water heater had a water leak, and thank god these guys were the ones to come and replace it. It would’ve been too easy to just reattach the old duct to the new heater, but they said it didn’t feel right and absolutely insisted we cut the drywall to look. Once again, thank god they did. I had 3 plumbers from A1 come to my house and charge me hourly to clean my pips out telling me it was roots and Roto-Rooter came out and did it for a flat rate and verry quickly, then when the plumber couldn't figure out what was wrong "but he knew right away that it wasn't tree roots" he had a person come and look in my pipes with a camera. He found that my pipe was collapsing and physically showed me on the screen. All together they were verry trustworthy and extremely hospitable, not to mention they did there jobs quickly and effectively all while being able to talk to me and answer any questions I might have. After I explained the issue about the leak from the shower drain, Ryan carefully examined the shower drain and then explained to me what needed to be done and how he was going to do the repair. He also explain the cost of the repairs as he went along so there would be no surprise cost at the end. After he finished the repairs he turned on the shower to make sure there was no leakage from the new drain installed and there wasn't. It worked perfectly!! Our plumbing backed up from the toilet and flooded the entire bottom floor on a Saturday morning. I called several plumbers for quotes on Saturday afternoon and found they all charged time and a half or double time on weekends, which was terrifying since I am a new homeowner and wasn't even sure what I was dealing with therefore had absolutely zero frame of reference for what it might cost or how long it might take... I am so thankful for Roto-Rooter Plumbing in Norfolk! ZERO dollars to have the technician come out, diagnose the problem, and tell you EXACTLY what you will pay before you commit to anything. Did you hear me?? Not an estimate... the ACTUAL PRICE! Whether it takes 5 minutes or 5 hours. And sure, if it takes 5 minutes (highly unlikely) then that's a lot of money for a quick job but it is specialized work and the reason I called is because I couldn't do it myself and I needed a professional. It's worth the peace of mind to know exactly how much money you'll be on the hook for, rather than waiting for the technician to complete the work while you count and calculate the minutes. Our job took about 2 hours and was well worth the price, not just for the service provided, but also for the incredibly helpful knowledge and suggestions from Josh, our technician. He spent the time to explain what the problem was, why it was a problem, and review all the best and worst case scenarios and how to navigate them. Still not a fun situation to be in, but at least we know what we're dealing with and how to proceed!

We didn’t need a camera inspect or anything complicated. We were originally charged $396 to snake our main line. That is almost the cost to buy one of those machines ourselves and snake it. After saying no thanks we can find someone to do it for $100, we were offered $150 to snake with no camera or 6-month guarantee which we knew we didn’t need. After a quick snake and flush we were good to go as expected. That was a reasonable price. The technician was wonderful and we had a great experience but I think a simple snake that took 10 minutes plus the time for paperwork should not run $396.

New homeowner here. About 2 weeks in, our main line had a block. 6:45 PM. I called and scheduled an appointment within minutes. The dispatcher was very professional. She gave me a 2 hour time frame and informed me that I would get a text or call about 30 minutes before arrival. I DID get a text, however the technician did not show up for about another hour. When he did arrive, he was very professional and answered all my questions. The repair did take about 2 hours. It was pricey, but it was worth the peace of mind as a new homeowner. My repair is guaranteed for 6 months. Overall, I had hoped it would have been cheaper, and a bit quicker, but I understand the time frame was not ideal for the company.

Steve Baker arrived on time, discussed with me the job that he would be doing. Due to flooding in the garage a utility sink needed to be replaced. Steve quickly assessed the job, clarified the details, made an estimate of cost, discussed that with me and then worked all morning, took a short break for lunch and back at the job until completion. I had had more than one “handyman” look at the kitchen sink stoppage to no avail. The last handyman who had really tried hard to unclog the sink told me I needed a plumber with a very long snake to get to the problem. He promptly took care not to soil my kitchen floor by laying a mat, then informed me what to expect and how to avoid future clogs by not discard certain items and how the company also sells a product that would aid in keeping the pipes flowing better. He had the pipes free of clog in not time and made sure I understood it was guaranteed for 6 months that made me feel better about the cost I had incurred. I told those who knew of the problem I had had, what an excellent service I received from Adam and Roto-Rooter. I had a water leak behind my wall which caused damage to the kitchen cabinets and vinyl flooring. Stressed, I first called a highly recommended water restoration company in our area. There was a two week wait. So I moved on to Rotor Rooter. Not sure why I called since I had no idea they had a Water Restoration portion to their company. I'm glad I did. Peter came out and assessed the situation. He was very positive about my situation and explained to me how the process worked in submitting invoices to my insurance company. The workers took out the damaged cabinets and dried out the wet wood and vinyl flooring. Testing was done on the flooring for asbestos. Hepa filter air machines were set up to help with my allergies. They set up a temporary kitchen for me to use until my new cabinets are installed. The whole job was quick, very professional, courteous and stress free. My drains from my clothers washer and kitchen have been backed up and using either of them caused water to come up in the other. This had been going on for 8 months and we thought we just had leaky pipes. We eventually tried to flush it and snake it ourselves, but we only actually completely clogged the drains! It turned out to be a bit of a mess in the crawl space. A main drain pipe had come disconnected and was leaking into the crawl. Three other plumbing services had told me they would need to cut a hole in the ceiling from underneath! This was false and an apparent money grab!.
