We had a clog and before we called them we had 3 other plumbers out to try to fix the problem. The first two were honest about not having the best equipment for the job, and the third was just a mess. We were so grateful for Terry and his awesome work. Not only did he fix the problem, but he took the time to show us our pipes through the camera and explain the system to us. This is our first home and we know very little about how some things work, so we really appreciated his knowledge and time, and he's a fun guy with a great attitude. He also had an apprentice with him and I'm sorry I can't remember his name, but he was also very helpful and polite, and he's in excellent hands with Terry.

I had an incident where one side of my sink, where the garbage disposal is located, stopped draining all of a sudden. This occurred on a Sunday evening and I really didn't want to have to wait until Monday to get this fixed. I calle Roto Rooter due to their "same price" regardless if it's a Monday at 10am or a Sunday evening at 7pm. Jack arrived within 30 min, explained the problem & fixed it just as fast. He was pleasant and professional the price was great!! I would definitely recommend!!

This was my first experience with Roto-Rooter and I was impressed with the service in each step in the process. The staff were consistently friendly and professional. Jack was the technician assigned and helped diagnose the drain issue I was having. He showed a genuine interest in finding the solution and carefully explained (in layman’s terms) the issues he had found with the drain, and possible options to repair it. I feel very good about my experience with Roto-Rooter and the staff as a whole.

The technician, Dustin, explained what he would do, the cost involved ( high in my opinion) which was adjusted after a senior discount I asked for and described the procedure. I had accidentally disposed of a charcoal infused countertop composter filter that I failed to notice went down the disposal when I washed the container. When black, hairy appearing matter came up the other side of the sink, I thought it was cat hair, then I realized what must have happened. I used Draino which did not budge it, so decided to call Roto-Rooter. He did a great job, used the snake four times and dislodged the item in pieces then in a larger wad. He also recommended a company product which protects the pipes and discouraged the use of acid-based items. I realize all companies have very high service call fees but was taken aback by this charge. I needed my sink right away, so had to make the decision to pay up. I do appreciate the work and the 6 month guarantee.

Jack came out to unclog one of our outside drains. He explained exactly what he was going to do to get our drain working properly and how much the job would cost. After unclogging our drain, Jack gave several helpful tips on how to prevent future clogs. Not only was Jack professional, he was also personable. He was friendly and kind. Everything was good until I went to check underneath the sink and it smelled of sewage. I was charged $394.00 with a food drive participation of $75.00 dollars off (really awesome), but I had already cleaned the pea trap and piping underneath the sink and ran a snake 15ft, and he found the clogging at about 25ft so, all he had to do was run the snake and clean up any gunk that spilled underneath the sink, which he didn't do a good job with clean-up, so I feel the price for just snaking and clearing the drain was too expensive. I had to take all the wood out and scrub, dry, and treat with borax to get the sewage spill and smell out of the wood flooring underneath the sink.

We had a hand sink that would not drain properly. We spent over 100 dollars on drain maintenance products and clog removal products, even so far as buying a snake tool and trying to unclog it ourselves. Nothing worked. Called Roto Rooter to come take a look at it. They arrived on time with a very professional service representative who wasted no time identifying the problem and clearing the blockage. He was in and out in under 30 minutes and our sink is working like new again. 5 stars, and would definitely recommend again!

Floor drain in mud room was blacking up to the point I couldn’t take it anymore. Called in the morning and had a tech out in the early afternoon. Don’t be shocked by the initial price. They have everything they need to take care of the problem. It’s money we’ll spent and there’s a 6 mos warranty on work. Yes it’s tough to bite the bullet but the result is well worth it.

Serviced two of our properties on one site visit. Very accommodating to all our Covid-19 concerns. Travis showed proof of vaccination and wore a mask at all times. Very thorough, professional, clean, knowledgeable, polite, and informative. Taught us how to keep our plumbing trouble free. Very careful of our hardwood floors and carpets, even carried dirty equipment a few feet onto tarps. Will use this service every time!

The whole process what was excellent from start to finish. They did a great job at explaining the cost of service and how it would be handled. Josh, was the plumber who came out and took care of the blockage. He was very professional and went above and beyond. I called after hours to ask some questions, he returned my call right away. After the service was completed, I forgot to remind him of the Senior Discount. I called him back, and he said it would be taken care of. I would need to call the office. Before I had a chance to do that, he had already called them and they were working on crediting the account. Now that is what I call Customer Service. Way to go Josh!!! I called 4 or 5 other local plumbers and the earliest date I could get was Monday morning and it was Friday. I had two clogged toilets. Even called companies that advertised same day service available but they were not available. I remember seeing a Roto-Rooter van driving around in the past and decided to give them a try. I was able to get a plumber here in less than an hour. Jack was the plumber dispatched to my home. He was extremely friendly and respectful. He put on booties to cover his shoes before he walked in. He got to work right away and was able to clear both toilets in less than 30 minutes. He was even nice enough and patient to answer my questions. All in all I have to say I had a wonderful experience with Roto-Rooter from the time the representative answered the phone and booked my appointment to when Jack the plumber left my home. I’m extremely satisfied and grateful Jack was able to come out and repair my toilets before the weekend. I would highly recommend their service as you can get same day service if you’re in a pinch. I have to say they may cost a little more than other plumbers but it was well worth it. In my book it was money well spent. Thank you Jack and the rest of the Roto-Rooter staff for helping me out in my time of need.

Very satisfied. Technician Abe was courteous and professional, explained clearly what our options were and what he was going to do - and checked back to make sure I understood. He also did a fine clean up! I thought it was a little pricey, BUT there is no charge for the onsite visit or the problem evaluation, nor do they charge if they can't fix it - and they guarantee the fix for 6 months, so overall I'm satisfied.

It's clear this place has some issues - our scheduled person never showed up. When I called, they said he had gone home for the day because he was awaiting "landlord permission and payment." We own the home, and he never showed up so I'm not sure what we would have paid for. Guess he just decided he wanted to be done for the day. I'm still giving 4 stars because the company still sent someone out the same day, and that person (Alex) was great! He explained everything clearly, and was very friendly and professional.

The gentleman That was out here was very efficient and very nice and cordial I was very happy with his performance. What I’m not happy with is he was here for 20 minutes he told me to charge for pulling a toilet is $280 which I think is ridiculous as it took me five minutes to take it off and five minutes to put it on. He was here 20 minutes I had the toilet polled and he gave me a discount and it was still $369 which I think is absolutely ridiculous your timing was great service was great your price is off the charts ridiculous.

I had a clogged toilet. My plumber arrived, clean , kind, and helpful. He inspected the job and immediately gave me the price of service and asked if I wanted to continue. He told me exactly what he was going to do. We made a bit of small talk, he gave me tips on prevention and he was on his way in less than 30 minutes. Was the price reasonable? Probably. I didn't comparatively shop. I wanted the solution in a timely manner with 5 star service. I got what I wanted and paid for and I'm extremely happy!

Xfinity came through our neighborhood to setup lines for new service in Woodburn Estates and Golf. While doing the underground line install they drilled through the top of our sewer line. Roto-Rooter Plumbing from Wilsonville came out and cleared the line as best as possible then did a video of the sewer line which showed the damage done by Xfinity. I have to thank Roto Rooter and especially Nikolai Bobkov for helping to get the sewer repair completed with a team of very hard working repairmen. They worked to get this completed even till midnight to complete the job which took several days. Nikolai Bobkov showed the video to the sub-contractor that did the Xfinity line installation and damaged our sewer line and they agreed to take care of all charges. Thank goodness!!! Abe came out to what I had hoped was to unclog my kitchen drain. Unfortunately it was more involved than that, he found mud and crud in my drain pipe that should not be there indicating I have a bigger problem than just a clog. He was unable to fix it. Our need was urgent (sewage in basement) and Roto-Rotor dealt with it in great fashion. They gave us a two-hour window and kept us informed throughout of the technician’s whereabouts. Once she arrived, Carson (the tech) diagnosed the issue and called for back up (Jacob). The two of them worked diligently to pass a cable 90 feet down our sewer line and worked until the line was unclogged. They kept us informed at every step about what they were doing. Included in the scope of work is a second visit by a supervisor who will use a camera to inspect the line and see what the underlying problem is. We had a downspout that had been clogged for a while. I had cleaned the gutters but that downspout still wasn’t draining. There is a blue spruce growing next to it so I assumed the roots were clogging the foundation drain and we would have to pay them to cut out those roots and repair the line. Not sure if I will, as I had an appointment Monday that was rescheduled, then no showed, then rescheduled again for today (Wednesday) for a 9-11 time slot. I needed to call again at 1115 after a no-show and was told my service man was late in a meeting. He showed up at 1350 and did a good job. My complaint is with management and empathize with the service personnel put into these types pf awkward positions. Customer time is valuable too!

After calling several other companies that provide this service we finally found roto rooter as someone who was available to help. Eric arrived about an hour after I called and he was very professional. Eric took the time to explain potential things he was seeing in our home that may have contributed to a clog and took the time to teach us a few things that will actually help prevent future clogs. After he was finished I saw a noticeable difference in how fast water drained from our sink than before we noticed the clog. While I hope I never need to call Eric again, I'd be happy to work with him in the future.

Okay, okay, enough with the pseudo-philosophical start to this review. In all honesty, here is the deal - Roto-Rooter . . . is . . . amazing. We'd been having a sort of sluggish drain issue in our master bathroom for weeks. In an attempt to solve the problem, I had already had a plumber out - to no avail. Everything was customer-focused, from the moment I logged into their website, to the confirmation phone call from the dispatcher, to the friendly and incredibly kind technician. Eric C., the Roto-Rooter technician, showed up at our house early. He waited patiently in his service vehicle while I hurried home from picking up our daughter from school and then politely told me what a goofball I was. No, he did no such thing. Instead, he walked me through the steps to rectify the problem on my own and taught me the measures to prevent the issue from recurring. He was thoughtful, courteous, and ever-patient with my ineptness around tools. Oh, and the pièce de résistance - he didn't charge me anything. Wow! Talk about genuinely customer-focused services. I will never, ever go to another plumber again. I am entirely sold on Roto-Rooter and can't speak highly enough for Eric and the kindness he showed. Do yourself and your house a favor - call Roto-Rooter before you try any other plumbing group. You will not be sorry.

Thank you! Original Review: Beware their hourly rate of $425 per hour! At time of booking, they told me about a $65 service fee which would be applied to total cost if I gave them the go-ahead. They did not disclose their $425/hour rate, and that the minimum charge is one hour, until the plumber was standing in my house. At that point, you don’t have a lot of choice unless you want to wait another week for a different plumber. Buyer beware. That said, the plumber (Josh) arrived on time, was nice and explained things clearly, practiced good COVID precautions, fixed the pipe, and cleaned up in about 30 minutes. I would have been 5-star thrilled had the job come in at $250-$275, but it was a big surprise at $450.

Technician Arin (Tech# 0190) came to our house right on time. Arin wore a mask all the time and fixed our bathroom sink shut-off valve leak in 5 min. While we asked if the shut valve needs to be replaced, Arin gave us an answer that it is not necessary since this valve is typically fixed without on/off all the time. Only a minimum fee of $69 was charged (Instead of changing the valve and charging more). Honest, professional, and knowledgeable person. Great job. ☺

The team at RR came out same day and dealt with my issues efficiently and professionally. They were frank in their assessments and I got answers to questions and concerns. The job involved a large team to clean up and unclog a basement bathroom but they were able to get everyone there in one day even extended to finish after regular hours without it being called an emergency or changing extra. They stuck to their estimate prices. That being said, the job was several hundred dollars more than I expected so it likely would have been better to get more than one bid if I had time. I guess I paid for brand name in the end. I will certainly consider them in the next job I need, but I expect they will price themselves out of the final decisions.

Jared was awesome! My elderly parents’ garbage disposal failed and flooded their basement with the most fowl, disgusting mix of water and food. He assessed our problem, used a Roto Rooter to ream out the pipe thoroughly, all with professionalism and efficiency. We can once again wash dishes in the kitchen sink, which is a Godsend! There is a slow leak still in the pipe under the sink, which we can control for mow with buckets placed under there. The several plumbers we called were booked out. Jared offered to arrange a plumber to be here Monday for us, which is so appreciated! We couldn’t be happier with his services and with the timeliness with which he was sent out!

I had a clean out that was overflowing during the hottest unbearable 110 degree heat. Brooks came out and worked hard to take care of me. He couldn’t fix it and called someone who was close by to bring the high pressure machine, no extra charge. They both tried again. They couldn’t fix it but it wasn’t their fault. They marked the spot where the cameras stopped. They were great and did all they could. Had it been fixable by them, there’s no doubt they would’ve done it. I would use them again and recommend them.

Jacob and Terry were awesome in clearing the huge clog in my bathtub drain. I had gone through a bottle of Drano and when the standing water was still there, I decided to call the professionals. While they were working on my tub, I asked them to take a look at my kitchen drain.
