WELL DESERVED 5 stars from me. I've used their services twice and have had great experiences. They are prompt, efficient, and reliable. They do a wonderful job explaining how things work and provide you with the best options. A few years ago, they fixed a low water pressure issue I had. On top of fixing it, Frank (and Joe) provided me with a ton of useful information/recommendations about the pipes, valves, sump pump, etc. This time, they replaced my 15-yo water heater. They were able to come the next morning with an estimate and replaced the entire thing all in the same morning for a reasonable price. I would recommend their services to anyone!!!!!

Prompt response, on-site very quickly to assess the issue and were able to get a new well, pressure tank, and controller within a week. First controller did not work, but Reed & Sons were prepared with an interim pressure switch and came back next day with a replacement controller. Work was high quality and employees were very professional and took their time answering my questions and helping me to understand maintenance. Provided excellent advice on what I needed vs. what was a nice-to-have.

One of the kids decided to dump something down the toilet. Hooray. They were able to come out that day, and gave us the option of snaking or just pulling the toilet. Reed and Son fixed our water filter housing and replaced the filter, installed a new water softener, replaced leaking pipes that corroded (soft to the touch), and installed a new sink faucet. All the work was done efficiently with minimum disruption, although it took one and a half days to do all of it. Brandon and Gary kept the workspace clean and were sensitive to our request to wear a face mask indoors, which we really appreciated.

Alex and Matt arrived on time and were so professional and very cordial. We have a jet pump with a well. These two gentlemen had to pull the foot valve out of the well. The foot valve was broken and must have been used to break through sediment. Alex (thinking out of the box) used a small sledge hammer to lower into the well to break through blockage. Then lowered the new foot valve...brilliant. They fixed the leaks and installed a new water tank. Now we have better water pressure and our pump is not running like it was prior to the fix. This company is the BEST!!! Use them. They are my go-to plumber every time. wendy

Highly recommend . I made an appointment for Reed & Son to come take a look at the toilet that wouldn’t flush. Two days later Reed & Son technicians Alex and Daniel arrived at the exact scheduled appointment time; explained my options to replace the 30 year old toilet & within 1 hour, a toilet was delivered, installed and ready to use (after the caulking on the floor dries in 2-3 hours) . I called around 8am and they were able to send someone out that day, of which I chose a window of 2pm-4pm. These guys are great! Came out the day after thanksgiving after an hour of calling in. My septic line had clogged, Patrick and Joe had to remove my toilet and snake the drain out to the septic tank. They used a high tech camera to throughly inspect my septic line. Nice guys!

I requested an estimate to checkout my water filtration system, which I have done on a routine basis. They did so and gave me an estimate for the mauntenance work. They also said, from their evaluation everything was working fine now, but may need calcite additive in about 6 months. They did not charge me for the estimate or advice.

I have used Reed & Son Services twice now and am very pleased with their service. The first time was to have our well pump replaced proactively. A few months later our septic started backing up into the house. Another Co came out and cleared the line right before Thanksgiving and we thought that was the end of it. It reared it’s ugly head again right before Christmas. The other Co came out and cleared the line again only this time the snake came up with mud on it indicating a break in the line between the house and our septic tank. The other Co was talking about digging everything up between the septic and the house whereas Patrick Reed said they were able to pull a new line through with minimal digging and only a little concrete removal inside. True to his word, he was there at 8am sharp on the day planned with a crew of 5. We were able to use the toilets by noon and they were done by 1pm. They came back 3 days later to reinstall the laundry tub that they had to remove for access to the plumbing. They all worked efficiently and there was no standing around. Reed & Son Services is now my go to Plumbers when it’s anything beyond my skill!

He made sure I was aware of best and worse case scenarios to make sure there were no surprises. My second time hiring Reed and Son - This time to assess my 19 year old water heater that had apparently reached the end of it's useful life. The office was able to fit me in their schedule the very next afternoon. The technicians arrived, explained my replacement options, gave me three quotes that included labor, parts and equipment, removed my old heater and installed the new one - all within a couple hours. I'd recommend them to anyone!

We had a huge clog in a pipe that was backing up our kitchen sink, our utility sink, our washing machine and it was a mess. I called at 10am and by 1pm; two wonderful technicians had explained the problem and how they’d go about fixing it, how much it would cost, played with my puppy and fixed the problem complete…then told me exactly what they had done. They were fantastic and super friendly. I hopefully won’t need to use them again soon, but if I have a plumbing issue—I know who I will call.

Techs were very professional and although a water problem developed during the repair they were able to remedy the problem. For the leaks and valves I had repaired I thought the company was a little pricey as compared to when I had an entire bathroom redone with a different company. They send a tech to evaluated the job and give you a free price on site and do not quote any rates over the phone.

He is friendly and professional. Vince installed our kitchen faucet, removed a disposal and answered questions about future improvements we want to make. They promptly scheduled a service visit to see what we would need for a whole house filtration system to replace our existing system that no longer worked. We decided that we would like him to install his recommended system, which he was able to complete that same day, including removing the old system. Vince is very personable and does a very neat and professional job. This was the second visit to the house for our new whole house sediment filter and reverse osmosis system. It was the first time to change the filters, and one seemed a little difficult, so I thought it best to observe it done for the first time. Vince came to change out the filters. I had purchased one of my own for the sediment filter, but they provided the ones for the reverse osmosis system. The work was great, and absolutely no complaints with the quality. It looks like I can purchase the filters online for about $40, so the labor cost did seem a little high at over $200, (including the reverse osmosis filters), for less than an hour to change out all of the filters. I felt that they did an excellent job with the original installation, but I believe that I will replace the filters myself in the future, barring any complications. It's worth $150 + in savings to me for about 30 - 45 minutes of work.

Frank and Joe were out today to repair the drain under our kitchen sink. It may sound simple enough except the house is 100 years old and accessing this drainpipe is difficult. To access the area requires an army crawl from the cellar on the opposite side of the house through a dirt crawl space that has become wet from the leaking pipe. Once receiving the original estimate on July 2, agreed to have the work performed the Tuesday after the 4th.
