Fosh Plumbing and Heating have been our go-to plumbers for many years. Recently, we had an plumbing emergency that required immediate attention. Jim personally sent someone over right away, even though it was on a Sunday. We had to replace our floor and scheduling that installation required having plumbers come just before and then right after the installation. Even though dates and times were by necessity last minute, the excellent office staff were able to get plumbers over when needed and the job was done with typical thoroughness and care. I called Fosh after several bad experiences with a contracted service company. They sent out Taylor who was magnificent. Not only did he figure out the problem with my tankless hot water heater but, he did it on a Friday late afternoon/evening. Going above and beyond to go pick up a part and finish the job around 5:30pm Friday. He cared about my family’s well being without heat and hot water. For that I’m grateful for his selflessness. Jim was the GC for 2 bathrooms being overhauled in our home. They took the rooms down to the studs, moved the tub/shower in one room, moved the toilet in that room, and created 2 brand new bathrooms (plus a powder room) in the end. While the project went a little long (a few ordering delays), Jim is the friendliest, most professional, and detail-oriented contractor. He made great suggestions and followed our requests. His team (Sully!) is also wonderful and we just enjoyed having them in our home. This is our first home and Jim even helped us with tools and recommendations on other small fixes external to this project. We trusted him and his team in our home while we were away. My most recent experience with Fosh Plumbing requires me to add to my first review. The technician showed up on time and performed the required service. However, the bill for the service was over $400. He might have been here for one hour- Not sure of the timing. To say I was surprised and upset by this is an understatement. The previous service with this company had resulted in what I considered to be a very reasonable bill. Not so this time. I will think twice before calling Fosh again. I would hope there is some reasonable explanation for why this happened. As of now, I don’t know what that is. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Fosh Plumbing. The person who scheduled my appointment was friendly and accommodating, and she called me back quickly with a SMALL window of time during which the technician would arrive (which he did). On the day of my appointment, the technician put on shoe covers (which I greatly appreciated but had forgotten to ask about when I scheduled) and got to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fetched the parts he needed from his truck and fixed my toilet. He was efficient, capable and obviously very knowledgeable. In addition, he was very nice. He made sure that the flushing mechanism was totally working and that when I used it, it also worked. At all times, the technician took care to be considerate of my house. This stands in stark contrast to many previous experiences I’ve had. The bill for his services was very reasonable. I would have paid whatever he charged me, but so much appreciated not feeling ripped off. Going forward, I will only reach out to Fosh Plumbing for any plumbing related concerns. I recommend that you do the same.

We had a sewage backup in our new house because of tropical storm Isaias. Fosh Plumbing was the only plumbing company that was able come out in a reasonable amount of time. They told us a plumber would be over in an hour, and it was indeed an hour. Mike answered all of our questions and gave a quick and fair estimate for possible solutions. I had a radiator split in my house, water pouring out of it everywhere. my 100 year old valves would not work to shut it off. while the other "emergency" plumbing companies I called could not send anyone, Fosh told me that they would have someone out in the next hour, and their tech was here in 30-ish minutes. the tech was awesome, and went out of his way to not only mitigate the water issue, but also to make sure that the rest of my house was able to have heat until I am able to find a replacement. great people, great service, great price.

Used Fosh Plumbing for 2 issues. I needed to have a vanity vent installed because my 1st floor toilet would gurgle when the 2nd floor toilet was flushed, and also a basement floor drain professionally closed off/sealed/cemented. A friend recommended them and in the past, the plumbers I have used have not been nearly as responsive or thorough or knowledgeable. They have also been very responsive and so helpful while we work through our insurance claim. They actually explained the insurance process better than my adjuster! So I was scrambling to find someone, everyone was saying tomorrow, but I took off work specifically to get my waterline to the ice maker fixed after it burst. My go to plumbers for sure! For me, what sold me was when they installed my baseboard hot water radiator heater and perfectly cut it into the baseboard trim (to the millimeter) without even messing up the baseboards. Usually a contractor would just throw some caulk over the area, but this install was so precise. I really love a contractor that is attentive to detail and also not out to rip you off. Many times they have actually advised me NOT to do work instead of selling me on work that does not need to be done. They are really the best.

I can’t thank Taylor and John enough for their help today! I called on a Sunday night and got Fosh’s answering service and stated the problem could wait use it wasn’t an emergency. Almost immediately I received a text with my scheduled appointment time of 8-10am for the next day. I was consistently notified by text of who would be coming and when they were en-route. Both John and Taylor were prompt, wore booties over their shoes to protect the floors, we’re courteous and explained what may be the issue and broke the costs down for me. They were able to unclog the sewer drain and there were no hidden fees, as they previously explained if they had to use a machine it would be one amount and if they needed to gain basement access it would be another amount; from there it would require further evaluation. Luckily they were able to fix the issue from outside. Definitely keeping their number handy for any further plumbing issues!

Great service. Quick and efficient. Only issue was when I originally booked I was given time frame of 8 am to 9 am, and then the confirmation the day prior said 9 am to 10 am. The plumber arrived before 10 am, so on time, but just a little confusion in the booking time, so next time I would clarify that (which was my fault for not following up when I saw the difference).
