I am so grateful for Avery with Benjamin Franklin!! I broke my garbage disposal on my boyfriend's birthday, (of course), by trying to clean it out with ice...it cleaned it really well, and then started leaking water out of the bottom! (Maybe not all "hacks" you see on the internet are worth it...) I called Benjamin Franklin, and they told me they could send someone out the same day! Avery was able to come over 30 minutes earlier than expected, and it only took him about 45 minutes to diagnose and fix my issue! He was super friendly and courteous, and even gave my nosy dogs some lovin'. Plus, he fixed it before my boyfriend got home from work, so mum's the word! It was just over two hours between panicked call and problem solved! I would 100% recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Avery for sure!!

Mark was on time he was able to do all the work that we needed done in one day which was great since my tub would not stop running water and my sink did not have any pipes hooked up to the bottom of the sink so the water was running into buckets which we had to empty about every 3 days. He even offered to fix some pipes that was underneath my tub that needed to be replaced. He was very polite and professional why he was here. Almost two years ago we got a brand new furnace and air conditioning unit from McCarthy's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning and Ben Franklin Plumbing so we will continue using this company. We are very satisfied with the work that they have done for us!!

My experience was terrible at first. The first plumber that came out, Mark, was extremely unprofessional and very demeaning. He stood in the doorway yelling about topics, while passionate about; had my mother in a corner and frankly he had no business yelling at her. I will never allow Mark in my home again. Period. He also did an extremely poor job on the spigot replacement and left a gaping hole in my siding. I contacted the company via Facebook that evening and I was dispatched another gentleman the Gary next morning, Mike. Mike was very professional and got the job done as it should have been done the first time. I would recommend Mike to anyone. Great service. I never did receive a call from the GM as I was told I would. All in all, the job was completed properly.

Matt has been to my mothers home on 3 different occasions as assistant to Mark. Matt was able to find a difficult to diagnose water leak and they both took care of it. This last visit Mark came out with an unnamed assistant for a tub leak. They diagnosed the problem and capped off the faucet until the tile work could be completed. When I came back to the home 2 days later I found a lot of water in the basement coming from the capped off tub above. I was frustrated to say the least. I called and this time Mark came out with Matt. Mark indicated it was a bad joint done by the earlier assistant. At that time Matt asked if I had found anyone to repair the tile and I hadn't been able to find anyone to do the small job. He offered to take care of it. He came out after work, spent 4 hours repairing that and other holes Mark had made and my home is now buttoned up. I appreciate Matt's willingness to do double duty and I am no longer frustrated.

I had some plumbing work done by this company the beginning of November. I later find out there was a leak, they came back out to fix it. I had to get the water damage repaired and tried for about 2 months to get recompense for. I attained John McCarthy's email and the very next day I received a phone call from him. He immediately scheduled another plumber and showed up personally to my property to hand me a check for damages incurred. Another plumbing issue arose while he was there and his plumber fixed that as well, I didn't have to schedule another time. That type of integrity is rare in this increasingly online world. Personal pride and honor are values that Mr. McCarthy believes in as evident by his deed and word. He could have given the check to the plumber but he didn't. Even thou it was one of his children's birthday, he sacrificed his time because it was that important. I understand things happen, I'm writing a 5 star review because the owner of the company looked me in the eye, shook my hand, and made it right. Other businesses need to follow Mr. McCarthy's example. I will continue to use Benjamin Franklin plumbing and recommend his plumbing and air conditioning services to others.

He asked me who put the hot water heater and I told you guys did, and he said "I dont think we did". Then he talked about dirty it was, he took it off the strip below and that was it. I thought he was going to clean it something! Charged me $99 and left. Very arrogant he was!! His partner who I didnt get his name was nice. He just started it again and left for $99??? Really?? We have used McCarthy 1 hour heating and AC and their Benjamin Moore team for plumbing work 2 x. The team members from both Companies do FANTASTIC WORK!! Adam N, Taylor M, Dylan L and Neal M and Matt Fdid unbelievable trouble shooting and work back in June, finding and fixing a major A/C ducting problem in the house while doing the Duct Seal process - it was undetected by visual looking because it was hidden, but they knew the volume change in the process wasn’t right and they explored, found and fixed! We had just bought the home and couldn’t understand the poor flow- so grateful for their professionalism and work at the house- they were beyond GREAT!! 👍😀🤗. The team also did an install on a new HVAC system - the previous system was horrible and poorly engineered! The new system has worked perfectly! Today we needed the main house valve replaced and under sink work on faucets - just like last time the team of Matt F and Mark V were super efficient, professional and knowledgeable— they did great work!! THIS IS THE BEST COMPANY EVER FOR AC / Heating and Plumbing!! 😄👏🏻👏🏻🌟🌟

I had another plumber come out to fix a backed up sewer drain. When they cleaned out the pipe they claimed that I needed it replaced and that it would be about $10,000. I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing to come out and give me a second quote. They had me watch the camera footage and showed me that the other plumber was completely trying to sell me something I didn't need. They showed me my pipes had two tiny little cracks on like the other planner claimed that I had to giant brakes that we're going to collapse. I valued the plumber named Mark who came out and gave me his honest opinion and gave me some other solutions to prevent further issues with my sewer pipe.

I had 2 plumbers come out from the same company and they pretty much just unclogged the toilet, without even attempting to get to the bottom of what had been going on for the past several months. different drains and toilets constantly clogging up. I didn't find out it was the main line and roots from our trees that were blocking the main passage, until I called Benjamin Franklin. They sent out Mark and Avery who got to the root of the problem 😂😂 they were professional and not only listened but asked questions to troubleshoot the problem. They came out about 4 months ago and not a single clog since. I'd also like to mention that due to the other plumbers NOT getting to bottom of our issue, it cost me a few thousand dollars to replace carpet and the dry wall between the bathroom and living area in my basement. I highly recommend this company, they take pride in their work.

I didn’t get called before they showed up. I asked for pricing upfront and was told it depends. I get that to an extant, but i don’t see why it can’t be ballparked. I said I would 2 drains that needed to be looked at. She told me they had a fee of $99 for drain opening. Yeah, $99 per drain. That should have been explained up front. I’ve had other companies come out and do multiple drains for one price. I was a little disappointed at the “gotcha” once they were here. To be fair, they did get our drain open, so they did what they were paid to do.
