Artists and gentlemen. The Stafford team brought positive energy to my home! We hired them to remove radiators and toilets to prep a bath flooring project; then they returned to reinstall the rad and toilet, promptly, after the flooring was completed. They were knowledgeable and easy communicators from booking to estimate to completion. Their booking and scheduling staff was friendly, organized and communicated promptly by several means (email, text, and phone); conversations were a joy. The plumbers were careful and methodical problem solvers, with old-world skills and contemporary expertise. The Stafford Plumbing team is made up of happy people who love what they do, and left this homeowner better and happier than they found me!

These guys are great. Jim Jr. showed up to my home at the crack of dawn (7AM), as requested, to repair a 10ft cracked portion of a sewer line, install a new 50 gallon hot water heater and replace a toilet. It was truly impressive how Jim Jr. was able to complete all of this work on his own. What was even more impressive is the pace and efficiency he was able to work to complete the jobs. The best part was his friendly demeanor and willingness to answer questions along the way. Definitely something you don’t see these days! You can tell these guys are passionate about pipes! 10/10 recommend.

Incredible old school values. Extremely knowledgeable friendly caring. They get back to you immediately. The craftsmanship is like an art form. With the amazing two-man team coordination they did an entire bathroom prep, shower, sink, toilet, connecting to the main stack and also venting, work in less than 6 hours which was absolutely amazing. They have every tool imaginable and a very well stocked truck. For the installation of the shower, much of the work was prepped right in the truck. The saving a lot of time. I was also impressed that they have they're acetylene tank actually attached amounted to the truck rather than having it float loose. I give Stafford Plumbing the highest rating ever. Use them you won't be disappointed

A pipe burst above my mother’s apartment on Christmas Day no less. The next day was Monday the observed Christmas holiday but James was there bright and early that morning to assess the problem. The home is over 100 years old and had old galvanized piping but instead of just making a repair on the broken section of pipe he ran a new water line from the 3rd floor of the building all the way to the basement. That shows he really believes in doing the job right the first time. Even though he had to to up and down 3 flights of stairs with tools and all, he completed the job in just a few hours. I also appreciated the fact that even though my mother is just a tenant there and he was contracted by the landlord, he still treated my moms home with respect. Would highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs, they believe in the old saying “Do it right or do it twice”.

Jim and his team are awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional. We had a big backyard job that included a gas fire pit and an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and sink. We called at least five different plumbers and they wouldn't even consider the work because it was outdoors. Finally we got a recommendation to use Strafford and we couldn't be happier with the results. Not only did they do a phenomenal job with the outdoor gas and water lines, but it just happened that on their first day to work on the project, our basement flooded. They quickly figured out what was the issue and fixed our sump pumps to remove all the water. I highly recommend Jim and his team with any plumbing projects or needs you have...

Highly recommend! Stafford Plumbing came out to look at our water pressure in one of our older bathrooms. Because our bathroom is older, our project is not a simple fix and will require a larger renovation. I recently used Stafford Plumbing & Heating for a kitchen sink stoppage. The response time from when I called to when they arrived was around 5 minutes! The service was very prompt, professional and personable. Jimmy got right to work and was able to clear the stoppage in under 15 minutes. Highly recommend Stafford Plumbing! We had an emergency call out in the later evening due to an unexpected leak that resulted in slight flooding. Jimmy was at our home within minutes of our call. He was very professional, found the leak and resolved it in a very timely manner. He explained everything to us and also spent time looking at all our pipes in the basement to ensure they were all in working order. My wife and I have used Stafford plumbing several times all with great experiences. The first time we used them was for a wobbly toilet. The younger son James came and was quick to identify the problem and resolve the issue. Toilet is standing strong till this day. We have also used Stafford plumbing two other times for our drains when they backed up. They were very professional and cleanly and had our drains flowing in no time. You can tell they take pride in their work and not looking for a fast buck.

Recently, Mr. Stafford helped us with a septic issue we were having at our house. We couldn't figure out why our plumbing was backing up. A+++!! We had a Friday morning emergency when our second floor shower started leaking. We had water POURING from our first floor ceiling, pooling up and flowing down our chandelier. In a panic we called Stafford Plumbing and they were incredible. Jimmy got on the phone and walked us through everything, helping us find the source, and even helping us drain the first floor ceiling. They were able to come right over and fix the issue with ease. On the way out I mentioned an issue with one of our sinks, and he was able to put in brand new valves and check the supply line like it was nothing. Great price and incredible service. Would highly recommend !!

We had a major sewer blockage, and had another plumber in early, who could not remedy the issue. He had told us we would need a hydro jet. I called around, and end up speaking to Lauren, who was so kind! She got us in same day as an emergency. Jim and Rob showed up prepared. They fixed the issue, and we did not end up needing the hydro jet after all. They were honest, knowledgeable, and extremely reasonable. We definitely found a new company to use!

On a Wednesday afternoon, I called Stafford plumbing for help. By early evening, Jimmy, was there to address our problem. Following an initial assessment, combined with a detailed description of our options with pros and cons, it became apparent it was time to replace the 12 year old high-efficiency water heater. Jimmy was clear they could not replace it immediately and shared it could be done on Monday. Then Friday morning arrived and they called to say, we can come early. It is difficult to find a tradesman, nowadays, that exudes professionalism, friendliness and trustworthiness BUT Jimmy did just that from start to finish. I highly recommend Stafford Plumbing and will use them again - should we get into a plumbing bind - which I hope doesn't happen for a long time :)

Just moved to NJ and know no one. Stafford Plumbing was recommended to me by someone who used them for years and swore by them. Had a issue with a leaking baseboard heater and needed some other work done as well. Jimmy (the younger of the father/son family run business) showed up and I assumed he'd just tackle the leak and we'd get to the other things another time. To my surprise, he repaired the leak, capped some other pipes that weren't being used, fixed my toilet, cut into a wall to fix another leak, and did it all with a smile on his face. Oh, and was VERY reasonably priced. I wish more businesses operated as honest and actually cared about the work as much as Stafford Plumbing. Highly, highly recommend.

Stafford Plumbing & Heating did an amazing job handling all the plumbing for our full home remodel/addition! This included moving and replumbing a full new kitchen, complete gutting and updating of two existing bathrooms, moving of laundry room to second floor, adding two new full custom bathrooms to addition, completely re-doing central heating and AC, adding a second unit for addition and running everything for a potential future third unit in the attic. The best plumbers in the entire industry. My hot water heater exploded around 5am and the team was on site by 10am to remove my old water heater and replace with the new tankless system! Stumbled upon them in our town’s message boards, and liked that they are family run with generations of experience (when in doubt go with family). Mom called, Dave arrived shortly after, came by to help solve our problem and made her feel comfortable. It was agreed that they will be on our speed dial for any issues moving forward. Good plumbing skills in finding problem. Works efficiently . Very expensive though. General plumbing fees in home adviser quoted $50-$150/ hour. He was $200/ hour. I asked for quote before he got p;arts. He said he didn't know. I would not have done if i knew how expensive he would be. Job was very expensive.
